Where to Find Grown-ish's Yara Shahidi on Vacation

"When friends come to visit me in L.A., they typically want to go to Hollywood, but it’s never appealed to me. It’s such a tourist attraction that you lose the beauty of the creativity it represents. But there are so many museums downtown! This one is a wonderful place, and I like the symbolism of having a space for artists of color. The idea of access is very important. I love it so much I ended up having my 18th birthday party here."

The musical I'm in booked this theater to rehearse in for a few hours. It was a good, clean space for us! I was in a play here in December - it was a fun venue to perform in. Easy to get to and find. The seats are comfy. Backstage is small but that's fine. If you do a lot of theater, you've seen all types of setups.
