"Open until 12am Sunday-Wednesday Inside a Shoreline strip mall is The Grill King. And while the hair salon next door closes at 7pm, this Korean BBQ spot keeps its grills on until midnight. Here you’ll find deeply marinated short ribs, super thin cuts of meat served frozen to stay fresh during grilling, and platters of banchan with fantastic garlicky bean sprouts and penne mac salad. The $25 all-you-can-eat dinner price is one of the best values in town, so count us in when it's time for late-night pork belly." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

"This Shoreline strip mall spot knows that its decor is dated—there’s a disclaimer on the menu with a reminder that they still have an excellent health score rating and only serve high-quality meats despite their interior.  At The Grill King, you’ll find deeply marinated short ribs, super thin cuts of meat served frozen to stay fresh during grilling, and platters of banchan with fantastic garlicky bean sprouts and penne mac salad. Been here at least 5 constant years, I might give them one last draw next time. But if the service and quality stays like that I will not Return anymore. The Owner approch us after we they could do anything because of our Dissatisfaction, he started questioning our choice of having Fate to this restaurant t, and later he realized his STAFF told him we were BEING DEMANDING FOR DISCOUNTS. The fact is, talk doesn't even have good communication between their owner and server. For $35 Premium price options, the Short-Rib today to 70% fat like the Picture. This place used to be my dream, because it is Open till midnight, and is quiet but has service. Today, food quality is WORSE, there is No Service you will have to call out a few times before they come by. Ask for water, they took our pitcher but "forgot" had to ask and remind them again. All while one of the malownersrs is sitting there on his phone. Tonight is very disappointing and disturbing to know this place has fallen to this level. Kinda of wish I was making this up, but tonight is tot-worthy and just not disappointing compared to ears of visits. The owner later said, "If you tell us earlier, we will able to do much better." Maybe I will come back in few months, and see if I ask *Earlier* will change these things. Rules to Know When Eat Here. - Shout Out If You Need a Server - Had to Say Something Immediately disregard you have Fate to them will be better. - Server will miscommunicate or even forgot your need

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Grill King Korean BBQ restaurant, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The quality of the food was outstanding, with the meat being some of the best I’ve ever had, not just in Washington but anywhere. Every dish was prepared to perfection, showcasing authentic Korean flavors with a modern touch. This restaurant is a true gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

This was my and my friend's first time trying all you can eat in a Korean BBQ Restaurant. We both took the 25$ All You can eat option. It had 4 meat options : Pork Belly, Beef Brisket, Spicy Pork and Marinated Beef (Bulgogi). There were no fish or chicken items. There were few veggies such as Kimchi, cucumber, radish, macaroni, bean sprouts as well. Rice was available too along with few sauces. Service was a bit slow sometimes as there were only two waiters serving lots of customers. But, that's fine with me as long as the food is good. I liked the meat options and we asked for a refill of 3 of the meat options. Overall we ate a lot and skipped dinner that day. Price was reasonable. They also mentioned that there was 20% service tax and thus tip is optional. Overall I would recommend this place to people trying All you can eat for the first time. It was overall a nice experience. The overall price of the all you can eat option is reasonable if you are willing to eat enough.

All around great experience, we rocked the standard all you can eat combo and definitely got our money’s worth. It came with pork belly, brisket, marinated beef, and spicy pork. The meat itself was great and our only complaint was to make the grill hotter. However, to be fair we had the grill swamped in meat at all times so that definitely kept it on the cooler end. I would definitely return here, it was my first time at a KBBQ place and this secured it as a new favorite. Overall 7.3/10

Food delicious. Service was great and so-so Atmosphere was okay. Prices are good. Came in on a Sunday, was really busy. Luckily I was able to be seated immediately before more parties came in. I recommend a reservation The food tastes great. There was a lady who was primarily helping us, they were nice but due to high traffic it was hard to get the staffs attention. There was another gentleman helping that was very kind, supportive and excellent service. But understandably so, because it was busy they had a lot going on. I had asked for some rice and sauces and it never came. So it took a long time to track them down. The restaurant itself wasn’t the prettiest. It wasn’t completely spotless and it’s very open not a lot of walls separating you from the other tables and staff. The environment and decor wasn’t consistent. Nonetheless, things were clean and food was worth it. I would come back again to have some Korean bbq but not as a date or something fancy.

In short, this place was chaotic and unorganized, but for the price the food was a decent deal. We arrived on a pretty quiet Monday (correction: It was in fact a Sunday since they're gonna be sassy about it) with a group of 4 and had several different staff members ask us if we had a reservation and we had to explain each time that we didn't but the first worker already said we could have this one table once it was cleaned. There wasn't a good area to wait in so our party plus the people that came in after us kept having to dodge out of the way as staff members hustled past us. When we were finally seated, we ordered the all-you-can-eat deal and they brought all four meats at once. We liked the marinated meats the best because the meat was just okay quality so the marinade helped the flavor a lot. The side dishes had some good standards like fish cakes and bean sprouts. Overall, it was a good deal if you're just trying to fill up on protein but if you're looking for quality, I'd go elsewhere. Small parking lot out front but it's easy to get a spot.

Best side dishes by far the mac n cheese and the fish cakes are to die for. 25 bucks for all you can eat should be a crime but it's an amazing deal the food is also amazing as is the dipping sauces

I tried many all you can eat Korean BBQ restaurants in North and South Seattle region. Some had low quality meat and my experiences were unpleasant. But, I truly enjoyed Grill King’s good quality meat and my experience was great. I highly recommend it!
