Food was delicious and flavorful! Avocado Toast was on point and Waffles were scrumptious! Compliments to Chef and cooks for the delicious meal!
The Grill staff were good with the exception of one person. The hostess was great, she provided us with water when we first sat down, and helped us out when we were ready to pay the bill and leave.
The one negative I have for this restaurant is the service from our server, Gustavo, which was very disappointing to say the least. He blantanly ignored us the whole time and we're not sure why? We wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt ... maybe he was overwhelmed during brunch time and didn't see our table (we dined between 10:15-11:00am), but then when we looked around the inside of the restaurant, at the most there were 3 tables plus us in his area, which were all 2-tops each and one 4-top. There were other guests dining on the patio section of the Grill, but they were being attended to by other servers. When he came to our table, it took him maybe 15 minutes to finally come over to ask if we wanted to anything drink, but that was only after one of the other servers (who saw us waiting for a while) called out his name to come to our table. It was then he came to our table to take our order and that's was pretty much where his service started and ended. After that he didn't really check on us or ask if we need anything else, I tried multiple times to catch his attention, but he literally ignored our table. Not sure why? We saw him go up to the other tables in his section multiple times, but never came over to us. Again, we wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but the interior of the restaurant didn't look very busy. When we were done eating, we waited for a while for him to come by our table, but he was missing and we didn't see him around. So we asked the hostess (who saw us looking around for him) if we can get some to-go boxes and our bill. She gave us the boxes, went to find Gustavo and within a few minutes he magically appeared and asked if we needed anything else. Feeling disappointed by his service, we politely said no and that we would just like our bill. He brought over our bill and went missing again.
When we got up, as we left we thanked the hostess for helping us, as she was very helpful. All the other servers were also polite; as each one of them walked passed us they smiled, said hello, and made us feel welcomed ... but it was just Gustavo that we felt could be a little better in providing service to his area.
