Just visited The Grove Wine and Whiskey with my family while home from college, and it was a great experience! The food really hit the spot - we tried the taco plates and flatbread, which were both delicious. Their espresso martini deserves a special mention - it was rich and flavorful, definitely worth trying if you're into cocktails. What really made the evening enjoyable was the staff. The bartenders and servers were friendly and helpful, offering suggestions when we weren't sure what to order. It's always nice when the staff makes you feel welcome. Overall, The Grove is a solid choice for a shared meal out. The atmosphere was comfortable, the food was tasty, and the service was on point. I'd definitely go back next time I'm in town. If you're looking for a good spot for dinner or drinks, I'd recommend giving it a try. Solid 10/10 in my book!

This is my go to place! I am so tired of dealing with traffic and going to Houston for a decent place but the grove wine and whiskey is incredible. You can tell the owners put a lot of hard work and dedication to this place, it looks incredible. It’s so cozy and welcoming! I ordered a tequila sunrise and it was delicious and so cute. I ordered the hummus flight which was to die for and the bruschetta was insane. The employees were all so amazing. I had the honor of meeting the owners when I went and they were so kind, told us about what inspired them to create a spot for everyone. I will be back and I recommend everyone goes. This place is amazing! I can’t wait to make this my go to weekend spot after a long week of work!

New wine bar open in Woodson Reserve. We arrived 30 minutes before closing. The staff is friendly. Amber and Taylor welcomed us and provided great service. We enjoyed the atmosphere at The Grove. There are comfortable bar stools, but we chose the couches. There is lots of cozy seating at The Grove for groups or couples.

After meeting the owner, I had to check this place out. It is a nice neighborhood hang out. I chose to sit on the patio, have a glass of wine, dinner and read a book. The service was exceptional. The 3 different people working came out and checked on me frequently. The Bacon Ranch Flatbread was good with a nice blend of flavors. I had the house Pinot Grigio and really enjoyed it. In fact, it might have been the best house P.G. I’ve had. The prices were what I expected for the current inflationary times. I would recommend this for a gathering of friends or a date night hangout. I love neighborhood places where they get to know you and you get to know them. This may become my place to get away with a book as the patio was quiet enough to read.

Been here a couple times. Atmosphere is so chill, service is top notch. Taylor has been behind the bar both times and he is so nice and makes fabulous drinks. Had the flat bread and it was also good. We will be back.

Cool atmosphere and vibe. Love its close proximity to my home. Enjoyed the hummus sampler. Live music 🎶 is what drew me in.

Yelp
Not Bad, not good. New Bar that opened up in the Woodson's Reserve area. Due to the blacked-out windows it was difficult to tell that the bar was open. My partner and I wouldn't have noticed if the front door wasn't propped open. The interior, although new, is missing something and appears drab. There is a limited food menu: Flatbread, sandwiches, small bites. The drink menu is much more extensive, however, pricey. I ordered the Eggcellent Whiskey Sour and oh boy... it was abysmal. It was bland; and for this price point, I expected a higher caliber. On the bright side, the whiskey selection was notable. I'll be sticking to that since you can't go wrong with a whiskey on the rocks. The bartender was both knowledgeable and personable. He provided great service during our visit. Note: this is a cashless venue, be sure to bring a card. Overall, this place has a lot potential. Although not good in some aspects, there's always room to grow. Due to it's convenience, we will be back in hopes to order better drinks and maybe some food as well next time.

Yelp
We recently visited this whiskey bar and it has a lot positive points. Let me start off with my one negative point that drove the review down two stars. The price point for whiskey is double the price of every bar in the area. For entry level bottles in was a hard pill to swallow. I do not mind paying for high end whiskey but being double the going rate is a little much. We enjoyed the limited food options and the service was fantastic. The young man working the bar was engaging, knowledgeable, and was able to hold a conversation. They have a great start on the ambiance but it does leave a little bit to be desired.

Yelp
Had cocktails and churros there with my husband. They were both quite good. Service was prompt. Was not crowded. Ambiance was casual. I did not order a whiskey-based drink, but thought the prices for the drinks were reasonable (not cheap, but certainly not extremely pricey, either). Was a good place for a casual date night, & we will visit again.

Yelp
Love the ambiance definitely a vibe to relax and chill with a glass of wine or cocktail. The appetizers were also tasty

Yelp
We have been a few times now. Each time we have left pleased and in great spirits (pun intended). It's a blessing to finally have a proper cocktail bar in the area. Taylor does a phenomenal job, making all his cocktails from scratch. Stephanie is an absolute sweetheart. This is going to be our new weekly date spot.

Yelp
Great neighborhood hangout with awesome drinks and small bites, perfect! Relaxed and comfortable venue

Yelp
Stopped at this place few weeks ago for a couple of drinks after having dinner out elsewhere. Don't know about the food since we didn't order any but the drinks were HORRIBLE. And way overpriced. I ordered 2 different cocktails and neither looked like the pictures on the menu; they tasted awful, like they'd been mixed by a clueless amateur bartender who left out ingredients. I could barely finish half of each drink & the bartender didn't even bother to ask why. The menu is a QR code and we were only able to order digitally, which was annoying. The atmosphere was fairly pretentious. The acoustics inside of the place make it uncomfortably loud to the point I couldn't hear my husband say two words during our conversation but I could easily hear other groups of people seated near us. I suppose if you live in the neighborhood this might be a good place to go with a group of friends to hang out & be loud while drinking canned or draught drinks. But it is not the place to bring your spouse/partner to enjoy each other's company, much less palatable cocktails, in a quiet, upscale environment. We will not be back.

Yelp
Great spot. Cozy, great bartender and owner. Appetizers and drinks were delicious. The atmosphere had a great vibe. We'd definitely visit again.

Yelp

Yelp
After waiting for a long time for this place to open it was a HUGE disappointment. It is basically an eclectic very small place with a limited and very expensive menu. On top of that for their grand opening several food menu items were already out of stock. For those that live in Woodsons Reserve it is convenient but the location is well off the beaten path for others. BTW do not bring cash as it is credit card only (probably to prevent employee theft). Drinks are very expensive and the food menu is very limited. The atmosphere is very bland as well. Beware if you decide to go. I give it a year or so before it folds.

Yelp
We needed a place like this in our area. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere. This will be a regular date night spot.
