As a travel healthcare worker, I'm currently staying in a hotel 3 hours away from home, without access to a kitchen, which restricts my meal preparation options for 12-hour shifts. Typically, I order large, fresh entree salads from local restaurants or cafes. I ordered a sunset salad through DoorDash, described as containing spiced Romaine lettuce, peppers, broccoli, tomatoes, and red onion, but it failed to mention that the vegetables would be sautéed or grilled. Upon receiving the food, I was taken back by its sogginess, which was more akin to pho soup. I contacted the restaurant to inquire about returning the salad and exchanging it for a basic house salad, but they refused, citing inventory concerns. I have worked as a bartender/server in Buffalo for 17 years at many well known reputable establishments and would never turn a customer away like that. No wonder this is a dead beat city. I would rather starve like Gandhi before ever giving this establishment another penny!
