As an event design and rental company, we love working at the Grove Hotel! Their ballroom is so spacious and has the flexibility of breaking into smaller spaces. Their staff is kind and professional, and it always feels like we are on the same team to create the best event possible. We also love their outdoor patio option for ceremonies or cocktail receptions! We can't wait to see the new renovations!

While not a bad experience, I did have higher hopes and expectations. Let's start with the good: Nice location. Convenient walk to everything from great restaurants to the Capitol. Convention Center is close if you are attending a conference. Most of the hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. The bartender that works weekends is awesome as of June 2025. Now the not so good: one of the noisiest hotels I've ever stayed in. Between the renovations and the loud guests...Constant noise made for a forgettable stay. You can tell this hotel was 80s Best Westen build quality that was renovated. The rooms were small and unimpressive. I found hair on my bed sheets, and it was difficult to set the proper temp for the room. The bed was NOT comfortable. Housekeeping staff wasn't friendly. One lady in particular never greeted me. Just stood and looked at me even after I greeted her. This applied to most of them. There was nothing welcoming about their behavior. Also, the housekeeping is LATE cleaning. I left the room at 9 only for me to return at one with a dirty room. This is when the housekeeping lady stared at me. Television access is terrible. Remote wouldn't change channels efficiently due to a clunky menu, and I Mario Lopez, as the narrator on the movie selection screen, didn't help matters. The bartender, on one occasion, served me a beer in a dirty glass. Dirty in the sense that I had to take my finger and scrape off whatever was on it. I wouldn't recommend this hotel based on the noise alone. But it feels dated for the price, and I'm sure there are better options in the area.

This hotel could not be more perfectly located. Right around the corner from the Basque neighborhood, easy to walk to everything downtown, and an easy stroll to pick up the Greenbelt and scooters! The staff were amazing, the room was lovely, and everything was convenient and comfortable. Will definitely stay again if we return to Boise!

This was the BEST experience of ANY hotel that I have been to in years!!!!!!! All of the staff are amazingly friendly and accommodating. The rooms are fantastic and the building is amazing. Very clean and perfect location. We got in at 1:30 AM after a 7 Hour Drive and I asked the front desk person if there was any chance they had a room with a bathtub. He was so nice and accommodating and was able to give me a room at the last minute with a bathtub on the top floor. He took the car and valeted it for me. I was just so impressive with his customer service. This will be our choice hotel anytime we come to Boise.

The staff here were incredibly friendly and professional. Although some elevators at the hotel were unavailable due to ongoing construction, the location was excellent and made up for it. I want to give a special shoutout to Ryan, my shuttle driver to the airport—such a kind and helpful individual. He helped with my bags and even opened the shuttle door for me. The world needs more people like him! Also, big thanks to the housekeeping team for finding the jacket I accidentally left behind. Since I live out of state, the hotel kindly offered to ship it back to me free of charge. Excellent service all around!

This hotel, although under renovations, is still a great stay in Boise. They have an actual gym (not just a "workout room") that overlooks the city, as well as a steam room, pool, hot tub,and sauna. It's home to Trilium restaurant, which has the best French toast ever. The lobby bar also makes yummy cocktails, I especially enjoyed the espresso martini. The staff are very friendly. This is a favorite staycation spot!

Grove Hotel in the center of Downtown Boise has a full gym with a lap pool, spa area with a large jacuzzi and both steam and dry sauna. The hotel has a spacious lobby and bar. Pretty active environment! The Front Desk Staff are the greatest! Very friendly and knowledgeable!

This hotel is clean. It smells good and has a good vibe and the rooms were clean. Everyone that works here was super friendly and kind. I could not recommend this hotel enough and I travel 70 times a year. That is one of the best!!! As added bonus, it’s 10 minutes from the airport and they were free shuttle and there was a 21 year-old young man driving the shuttle who is so friendly and kind and thoughtful. We even enjoyed the 10 minute trip.
