Amazing hotel! The staff is accommodating, friendly and empathetic. The staff makes everything run smoothly and ensures your happiness. I stayed at The Grove in May earlier this year and would definitely revisit. This hotel puts you right in the heart of Boise , next to tons of amazing restaurants , a grocery store, things to do and sights to see. Everything you want to do downtown Boise is just a small walk away from The Grove. This place was clean, safe, and the beds were SO comfortable. I would recommend to anyone coming to stay in Boise.

My shuttle driver, Ryan C, was awesome. I scheduled the shuttle and walked into the hotel at the departure time. He waited for me to change out of my high heels/suit and still got me to the airport on time. Hotel 43 was a great place to stay while in town for an interview!

Nice

Google
Clean rooms, helpful staff and ideal location for downtown exploration. 24/7 complimentary airport shuttle is also great. However, the hotel is currently under construction. Opt for a different hotel if you enjoy sleeping in past 9am. Overall very noisy in general as the walls are thin and the surrounding area is also very loud; not sound proof at all. Very frustrating to wake up to drilling after a long travel day and being sleep deprived.

Google
I stayed at this hotel in May in downtown Boise, and I would recommend it. The rate was fair. The location is just a short stroll away from a great variety of restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, bars, boise River, and parks. It made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. The hotel and my room were clean and felt safe and comfortable. The food and drinks at trillium, the hotel's restaurant, were delightful. The staff was friendly and attentive. While the guest services and front desk were satisfactory, I felt they could have been a bit more engaging. Overall, it was a convenient and comfortable stay in Boise. I had a positive experience.

As an event design and rental company, we love working at the Grove Hotel! Their ballroom is so spacious and has the flexibility of breaking into smaller spaces. Their staff is kind and professional, and it always feels like we are on the same team to create the best event possible. We also love their outdoor patio option for ceremonies or cocktail receptions! We can't wait to see the new renovations!

This hotel could not be more perfectly located. Right around the corner from the Basque neighborhood, easy to walk to everything downtown, and an easy stroll to pick up the Greenbelt and scooters! The staff were amazing, the room was lovely, and everything was convenient and comfortable. Will definitely stay again if we return to Boise!

Google
Refurbished room was excellent, with very comfortable beds and everything. I will definitely recommend this hotel to someone visiting Boise. Also, the hotel is extremely close to the walkable 8th street with its many fine eateries.

Google
While not a bad experience, I did have higher hopes and expectations. Let's start with the good: Nice location. Convenient walk to everything from great restaurants to the Capitol. Convention Center is close if you are attending a conference. Most of the hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. The bartender that works weekends is awesome as of June 2025. Now the not so good: one of the noisiest hotels I've ever stayed in. Between the renovations and the loud guests...Constant noise made for a forgettable stay. You can tell this hotel was 80s Best Westen build quality that was renovated. The rooms were small and unimpressive. I found hair on my bed sheets, and it was difficult to set the proper temp for the room. The bed was NOT comfortable. Housekeeping staff wasn't friendly. One lady in particular never greeted me. Just stood and looked at me even after I greeted her. This applied to most of them. There was nothing welcoming about their behavior. Also, the housekeeping is LATE cleaning. I left the room at 9 only for me to return at one with a dirty room. This is when the housekeeping lady stared at me. Television access is terrible. Remote wouldn't change channels efficiently due to a clunky menu, and I Mario Lopez, as the narrator on the movie selection screen, didn't help matters. The bartender, on one occasion, served me a beer in a dirty glass. Dirty in the sense that I had to take my finger and scrape off whatever was on it. I wouldn't recommend this hotel based on the noise alone. But it feels dated for the price, and I'm sure there are better options in the area.

Yelp
The Grove hotel came recommended by the people who I had come to Boise to see. It's centrally located in town, close to the capital, and sits right in the middle of SO many restaurants, bars, shops and much much more. Within 2 blocks I found a bunch of places that I only wished I had time to visit. Back to the hotel. First and foremost, the staff is OUTSTANDING. Everyone I encountered who worked here had a wonderful attitude. From the valets to the desk staff, to the bartenders, the wait staff in the restaurant and even the cleaning people. Everyone was kind, helpful and even FUN. The hotel restaurant (Trillium) was very good and it's the same menu and kitchen that prepares the room service dining. When working late I ordered room service and the food came in a timely manner. But the rooms are just average. I assume that they haven't updated the furniture in a long time. The beds and the bedding are pretty good and they definitely have plenty of hot water but for the money it was a bit of a letdown. I chose this hotel over a number of others that were a good deal cheaper and I expected more. I might stay here again but primarily for the location and the employees. They made the stay very enjoyable. I hope the ownership reads this and makes some updates to the in room experience so that it becomes fantastic.

Yelp
The hotel is in a great location if you're attending a conference at the Boise Centre--easy walk and very convenient. Unfortunately, the basics were missing: toilet paper restock or having any drinkable water in the room, and the A/C did not work (despite multiple conversations and requests). The renovated rooms look nice, but lack ventilation--especially in the bathroom--and hallway noise carries straight into the room. With a few simple fixes, this place could be great. For now, be prepared to request the essentials; pack some earplugs and sleep hot.

Yelp
Stayed here for 4 nights. Biggest complaint is being assigned a room that oversees the arena. This was not mentioned to me until I discovered the hockey game I could hear well on the 9th floor. I didn't know this was going to be happening, but luckily only for one night, keep that in mind. Front desk workers and cleaning staff were kind to help with any concerns and were communicative. Besides the hockey game noise, great hotel, wonderful staff, and perfect downtown location.

Yelp
It's loud here. Street noise Hallway noise Stairwell noise. Seems like a nice hotel. 4-5th time here ( company sends me here) I never get a good nights rest. The noise!

Yelp
I absolutely love everything about this hotel except their bath towels. All the small and medium towels are fluffy and nice, but the big towels are thin, old and feel like sandpaper on your skin.

Andrea N.

Yelp
Under construction - still charging full room price - daytime work impossible. Also they bug you to do everything online (scan id etc) which is time consuming and lacks personal customer service touch.

Yelp
I had a two-night stay with my girlfriends. We really liked the central location and the amenities offered. The hotel appears to have been semi-recently renovated. We had generally good service, staff was quick to bring us extra robes when we wanted to go down to the spa, extra towels when requested our second day, and they fixed the clogged shower drain very quickly while we were at dinner. However, they forgot to put in a room service order, and took a long time (2 hours) to bring extra towels our last day. Food was good, and the bar was also a good spot.

Yelp
‼‼‼‼WARNING ‼‼‼‼ Horrible front desk management! Rude, immature mentality . Night shift manager is a liar. I'll get her name- They lied about me and have created a false narrative about me, defamation of character. Don't let the front lobby and restaurant deceive you, the rest of the hotel is a run down mess! They are trying to look high end to change more/ night but you'll be disappointed once you see your rooms. Elevators never work. Rude , incompetent management. Lindsay is horrible! Warning ‼ ‼‼‼‼‼‼ Stay away!!!!!!! Watch- Lindsay is going to say she never met me lol she's going to respond to this review defaming me again! She's going to respond with ... " I've never met this person " but that's her tactic, to make the other person feel crazy. Lindsay - you know exactly who I am

Yelp
The location was second to none. The amenities were great and the staff was super friendly. Definitely staying here again at our next visit.

Yelp
Very unprofessional overcharges the rooms are not what they describe Breakfast in bed was late first time we put order in. They never even accounted for that had to re-order breakfast did not receive that until an hour later front desk employees were very unprofessional and showed no human interest even if you have to pay more I would refer you to another hotel in most definitely not this one

Yelp
Next to the Boise center. It's located at Front street and Capitol street. A small little waterfall at the front entrance and drive way. Sheltered covering at the front as well. The lobby as a large bar and two sides of it as well as lounge seating. The interior is nice, the big globe lights are fun. Trillium restaurant is right at the front and to the right side. Near a small park off of 9th street and a light show on one of the adjacent buildings.

Yelp
do not stay at this hotel. It was under construction the whole time I had to leave my room from 8 to 5 and they didn't even tell me. There were drills. The whole hotel was vibrating from the demolition. They did not compensate me properly. Sadly, steer clear. No integrity. I left feeling more stressed and sleep deprived than when I arrived.

Yelp
Stacy (Anastasia) is beyond sweet and helpful. Whole place is beautiful and a great stay!

Yelp
This is our 3 rd visit to the Grove. It's always been the best choice for us. It has full services and amenities and located right downtown. The rooms are always clean and have large windows with great views from the upper floors and the bed was very comfy- although raised up. A nice perk is two (small) bottles of water every day - free. The staff has always been most accommodating and takes care of any issues quickly. The price is a good deal considering all the hotel has to offer. The valet service was on the ball - very efficient and helpful (not free, BTW). The hotel is always very clean and shiny. There were a few things that made me only give a 4 star rating ( I would have given a 3.5 is available). Check-in went fine, we got the room we requested. However, we had also requested a microwave, it was not there. It was delivered quickly after a call downstairs. The phone system is "weak", hard to hear the person talking. I used my cell phone to call down- much easier to hear them. There was no luggage rack in the room-brought it right up. The mini-fridge was unplugged and warm. It took the housekeeper, Sayed (***) a while to get it working - he found the area under the fridge dirty and cleaned it up. The plug for the hair dryer was cracked and had a hole in it exposing the circuitry (see photo) - dangerous. The coffee maker was not working, nor was the replacement they brought up. The third one worked fine. (Zarina***) . The housekeeping staff seemed to be mostly eastern European and had some language problems. The shower handle was almost falling off. It was fixed by the time we returned to the room that day. I would suggest they put in grab bars in the tub/ shower. AND...most difficult of all -- no GOLF channel (kidding, but true). So, lots of minor issues that they took care of as fast as possible. I am sure we will stay at the Grove on our next visit to Boise.

Yelp
This was about the comfiest bed I ever slept in. It's too bad the service is not up to par. I got in at 12:30 the other night. The lady at the front desk (don't remember her name but she's from Caldwell) told me she wasn't gonna let me in the room because my name wasnt on the reservation. When my research partner's wife, who booked it for us sent me the confirmation that I was on there. She made me call him in the middle of the night to confirm I was on the reservation. It's not my fault you had a system error that you tried to keep me out of a room I partially paid for. Additionally, Angel tells me and my research partner the next morning that checkout is at 11 instead of 12. We asked for a late checkout which is 2 at most places and she proceeded to tell me that she can't do that. We speak 11-12 so we were booked but they obviously didn't care about accommodating for the convention which had a lot of people stay at the Grove. We paid outta pocket for this hotel to speak at this conference. The least you can do is let us stay in the room until 2. We agreed on 12:30 and she made it sound like she was really doing us a favor when she said that. The only reason why this gets 2 stars is because of Ayla and her staff offering to put our bags in the valet car so we could go to lunch. The restaurant food and service was also really good. But front desk and management staff? That's not how you treat your guests who pay a lot of money to stay at this expensive hotel. Do better.

Yelp
Right in the middle of everything Downtown Boise. Connected to the Idaho Center and surrounded by food and nightlife The Grove is a great choice if you are not getting a car. The staff is friendly, the bar is low key but lively when we were there for the BigSky Basketball Championship. The rooms were clean and updated. The elevador got a little busy mid-morning, around checkout time. Overall a good experience.

Yelp
Nice hotel . We stayed on the 13th floor . Warm and relaxing . Wished the tub and bathroom was a tiny bit more updated but it's still very nice . Going to check out the pool . I'll take pics .

Yelp
The Grove Hotel is a pretty decent stay if you're in Boise. The hotel restaurant is always crowded, seems as if many of the patrons aren't hotel guests. Rooms are spacious and clean, mine has a pretty decent view. Employees are super friendly. Everyone from front desk, to housekeeping, to restaurant servers were helpful. Would definitely recommend if you're visiting Boise.
google avatar

Yelp
I was visiting Boise for a few days with no car, and The Grove could not have been in a more perfect location to be able to get everywhere I needed by foot. Although downtown Boise is small to begin with, The Grove was right smack in the center. To add to the convenient location, this hotel feels very upscale, and the price was lower than I would have expected. There are all kinds of amenities, including a hotel, restaurant, pool, spa..... You could spend a day just hanging out here if you wanted! My room was lovely and I did not have any issues with it. There was also a beautiful view of downtown and the mountains right out my window. They also have a free hotel shuttle that'll take you to and from the airport, which was very easy to use!

Yelp
I stayed in this hotel on a girls weekend trip. The cost of the hotel I thought the hotel was going to be a nice fancy hotel. I was highly disappointed when I checked in and the front desk staff was short, then when I got to my room it smelled like smoke and the bathroom wasn't the cleaniest. This hotel reminded me an older hotel in need of a revamp. I think with some love it could be great. I was sad I didn't stay down the street at the Home 2 suites for half the cost in a cleaner room.
google avatar

Seth D.

Yelp
I enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were very nice and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint was that one of the elevators was out of service and it took very long to get an elevator to the top floor.
google avatar

Yelp
We left behind a couple items on accident in the closet. Management initially told us nothing was left behind, but after pressing them and providing descriptions a small portion of the items suddenly turned up. The more valuable items were never located and security stopped corresponding with us. Poor follow-through in addressing our concerns. I wouldn't stay here again.

Brandie R.

Yelp
This was the second time we attempted a stay at The Grove for a family "staycation." They messed up my rooms, this was after I had called two days prior to be sure they had it right. We had reserved a deluxe king and a deluxe double queen. Was assured they would be connecting. When I arrived at check-in they advised me that my two deluxe double queen rooms were ready. I showed them my confirmations and that I had spoken with someone. "Oops, sorry," per the young girl. A young man Trey, did try to help, but said we could have the right rooms but they wouldn't be connecting, NOT what we wanted. Nothing in the room with hours of pool, gym, etc... Nothing noting check out time. No coffee bar down stairs, breakfast or any meal is via the restaurant down stairs with limited hours and so costly. I really wanted it to work out this time, especially since we love watching hockey and it's connected. Unfortunately, we will not be staying and I will not be recommending. For the price you pay for this place, it's such a disappointment. I'd rather go stay at one of the other places nearby and walk to the hockey game. Sad!

Jason C.

Yelp
Very nice hotel in downtown. Nice bar with drinks overlooking the street. There's actually a hockey rink arena on site.

Ephraim G.

Yelp
Just had a great shuttle trip to the airport with Caden Economos at the Grove. Highly recommend. Best place to stay in downtown period. Lindsay runs the front desk better than the Four Seasons. Housekeeping is perfect. Constantly getting better.

Yelp
I came to Boise on a whim. I was going to take a road trip, but everywhere near me was going to rain all weekend, so I hopped on a plane and came up here. I booked the Grove Hotel from reviews. The hotel is a 4-star hotel on Capitol Ave, and it's close to everything. There were complimentary beach cruiser bikes you could take out on the Greenbelt, and this is how I spent the whole first day with a friend. What a gorgeous city! It's also close to a lot of great restaurants. There are some local favorites I tried out, like Fork, where I strongly recommend the asparagus fries :-) The Restaurant, Trillium, is better than most that you find attached to a hotel. The spa was wonderful, I had one of the best massages I've ever had from Christopher. (I've had a lot of massage!) the staff was extraordinarily friendly, and very helpful. Responsive. The gym is extensive. A full gym, not a fitness room. The room was clean and spacious, the bed very comfortable. There were a lot of easily accessible places to plug-in in the room, which I really appreciate. I can't give this hotel five stars for two reasons. The main one is that I took a dip in the hot tub. After I got in, I realized there was a layer of grime around the edges, which apparently had been there long enough that people had scratched their names into the grime. It was truly disgusting. I reported it to the front desk, I hope they took care of it because I couldn't bear to go back and look. The second was a minor thing, but very annoying. I love that this hotel, like many, has given up that ecological nightmare, tiny shampoo and conditioner bottles. Bravo! Unfortunately, the dispensers that they do have don't work well at all. The first time I got in the shower, I pushed on them and pushed on them, and nothing came out. I assumed they were empty. When I called down to the front desk, they did immediately respond by bringing me refills for all three containers, and that was when I realized that they had already been full. They just don't work well at all. Even when I figured out how to make them work, it didn't always happen. I couldn't always get product out of the dispenser. No one wants to be in a shower and unable to get soap or shampoo out of a dispenser. I'm sure it would be expensive to replace them all, but I think the hotel should consider it. Despite the two problems I faced, I really loved this hotel. It's got a great bar, good food, friendly staff. It's also attached to the Idaho Central Arena, so I went to a hockey game for the first time in 30 years. Fun! I will be back.

Melody D.

Yelp
from checking in, Customer service was friendly, experienced, and helpful.... to the bar and the spa, it was fantastic experience, will definitely return! the grove!

Yelp
The lobby in this hotel is beautiful and was very lively, but I was disappointed with the room. Everything felt outdated, especially the sink and bathroom area. The bathroom space (toilet & shower) is pretty small and the lighting makes me feel like Im in a motel. I thought the coffee pod selection was a little odd (why 2 decafs?) but that's minor and can be easily fixed. The location is very convenient being central to all the restaurants, bars, and businesses in Boise. I did appreciate how clean the room was, which is always important, but the entire experience was very underwhelming. It's a fine hotel, but perhaps not worth the price (I paid $223 a night) Also note if you're a Gold Member on Hotels.com -- the 2 beverage drink offer is an option of waterbottles or cans of soda, not cocktails in the lobby bar. For when I stay in Boise for an equally great location, I prefer The Inn at 500 down the street.
google avatar

Charis S.

Yelp
The lobby is very nice! Loved the color scheme and the open concept, the rooms gave me a modern Victorian feel. So many great food options at the restaurant located in the lobby, called Trillium. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit on my quick overnight. I would definitely go back for a good meal and a nice room and comfortable overnight!
google avatar

Drew F.

Yelp
Took my wife there for a weekend away, it was pretty sweet. The service from employees was excellent and the room was very nice with a view of metropolitan Boise including The Depot. Valet car parking made it very easy and the hotel is close to several good restaurants and attached to the Idaho Central Arena. We had hockey tickets and getting in and out of the arena was a snap. Had we chosen to we could have gone back to our room for intermission. There were only 2 issues that made our rating a 4. There was a lot of noise on our floor from other guests and from the plumbing. The other was no complimentary fresh coffee in the am. The room had a mini Kuerig but for the price we paid some fresh coffee in the am isn't too much to ask.

Yelp
Great hotel, great amenities, great staff!! Really enjoy staying here. Beds are suPer comfy along with all the extra pillows they provide, its nice and clean and everything is in place. Last night was the highlight of my stay, as a crew member I bring my food bag and oftentokens need a microwave to warm up my goodies. I asked the front desk last night upon checking in he said let me check it for you, but if I can't provide you one you can use the one down here. It didn't take 10 min I got a brand new microwave delivered to my room! That was amazing! Once again thank you so much for taking such good care of your clients! Def one of my fav hotels!

Yelp
Top points to the hotel for communication setting up the reservation and requests. We stayed 2 nights for NYE and also dined in the Trillium restaurant to celebrate our anniversary-staycation. See my separate review of the restaurant. Spoiler, it was fantastic! Cons; Not much seating available in the hotel lobby, unless you want to sit in the cocktail bar area, but that was overrun on NYE, so just 2 small chaises near the frigid front doors. Hotel was overrun with children for a hockey event and with children comes lots of noise; not the best ambience for a classy hotel. I saw kids roller skating in the halls and elevators. High decibel screams from the kids in the pool area, made it impossible to relax, although the staff did the bests they could to keep them reined in. I never understand why hotels do not have sound absorbing materials on the ceilings in pool areas. The clothes closet in our room didn't have a stopper, so it slammed loudly with each use. Bathroom in room had a quite low toilet, low tub and the air exhaust in the ceiling was caked with dust. I can't believe that it is ever cleaned, as this much dust looks like years of accumulation. Toilet paper rolls were difficult to reach when seated unless you are a contortionist. All hotel bathrooms suffer from inadequate hooks/bars in the bath. A large blank wall would have benefitted from a towel bar and several hooks. mini-fridge was barely cool. Banging sounds from kids in the room above us were unbelievable loud, but a call to the front desk quickly stopped the noise. Pros; Most of the staff (except one cleaner we encountered in the elevator) were very professional and friendly. We got a warm greeting from the assistant front office manager, Helyn De Haan, in the form of a lovely letter congratulating our anniversary and included a bottle of Prosecco on ice. They also offered to confirm we had a room with a great view, which it was, from the 12th floor. Mattresses were firm and perfectly comfortable as we like. Bedding & pillows were all clean as was the entire room. Ample USB charging ports were available around the room. Beautiful wall treatment behind the beds, without any cheesy artwork to distract the peace. Cleaners do not enter daily, only upon request, which is how we prefer. Real hangers were in the closet for use and although there isn't a sundries store in the lobby, they did provide to me a free toothbrush with toothpaste as that was the one item I had forgotten to pack. The shower was quite spacious and powerful. Water temperature was great and the provided lotions were all top notch. Pool and gym area is well equipped and they offer outside memberships as well. The person at the front desk was so perky and friendly, I want to get a membership just so that I can interact with her again! The indoor pool is quite large and at 4 feet maximum, just the right amount of depth to enjoy and was never over crowded. They also provide a spacious sauna and a separate steam room as well as a huge jacuzzi with a breathtaking view of downtown, the valley and foothills beyond. I definitely understand why this is the premier hotel of Boise, even with its minor quirks.

Yelp
The Grove Hotel located on the pedestrian hub of downtown where there are dozens of restaurants to choose from with in 3 block radius or you can dine in in Trillium (located inside the Grove Hotel). They have reasonable rates in an excellent area of Boise. I was very impressed by the level of friendly engagement from the hotel staff. Employees at front desk, lobby bar, Trillium restaurant and fitness areas were outgoing and helpful and fun!

Natalie S.

Yelp
I was very disappointed in my stay. Our room was not clean. When we first got to the room there was a chewing tobacco can on the bed, hairs on the pillows and gum on the floor. I did not feel that our room was worth the price I paid at all. Staff was very nice though

Michaelene J.

Yelp
Upon arrival we were told the hotel parking lot was full and we would have to drive to another lot down the road. No bellman to take our luggage to and from our room which was 1 star above a motel 6 room. So we have to carry our own luggage to and from the 9th floor room. Coffee machine in room did not work and to top our stay off, they booked a mother and crying baby in the room next to us and we heard the baby cry all night. We could not leave the hotel fast enough, we left at 6:30 in the morning so we could go get a cup of coffee and quiet time. Hotel 43 next time in town!

Nicole N.

Yelp
Highly recommend this hotel, the shuttle service was quick and efficient and friendly, thank you to our driver Jordan.

Yelp
After weeks on the road visiting busy national parks, my husband I were looking forward to staying at a nice hotel in Boise with a spa day. I tried to book a king suite, but with it being Memorial Day weekend, I could only get a double queen. I did get free parking, a drink ticket and 2 breakfast tickets each day as part of their spring travel special. offered on their website. Self-parking is $15/day and the breakfasts were $12/ea. For 4 nights I paid $944 including tax. Tip: if you want a quiet room ask to be placed away from the 4th floor terrace. They have events there and it was pretty loud one of the nights due to a wedding. The "spa" is not a spa like you find at 4-star hotels, it's more of a gym and not pampering to me. The locker room and bathroom was sterile and uninviting. The hot tub has no stairs so you have to hoist yourself into it and hope you don't slip. It's all stainless and the temp was tepid. The sauna and steam room were piping hot, though. There's nowhere by the pool to lounge - just plastic chairs with no footrests, so I went back up to my room to read rather than lounge by the pool and sauna as I'd hoped. The massages we had were standard -I've had better elsewhere and the masseuse talked more than I liked. I should have said I prefer silence upfront or addressed it when it went on, but I didn't and didn't feel as relaxed at the end. I think you're better off going to a day spa in town. The price was reasonable but I don't think they should call themselves a spa. The room didn't live up to the online pictures. It seemed a bit tired, as did the hallway, maybe it's the faded rug. They also like to jam chairs into tight spaces. Two chairs sitting in the elevator hallway look awkward. Same with the chair in our room, which was between one of the beds and the drapes - not super cozy for reading. Our room on the 10th floor had a big window with a vent and was over HWY 26. Even when closed, the vent allowed in a lot of traffic noise. I heard traffic starting at 5am until I drifted off to sleep. Very poorly designed window. I've had more quiet at chain hotels. We could have moved to the opposite side, but with the vent we didn't think it would make much of a difference. Plus the hotel is on a diagonal so you hear the cars no matter what. Only one towel hook on the bathroom door and towel kept slipping off. They did have a cubby for towels with two bars over the toilet, which was nice, and a bar in front of the sink for a hand towel. Unless you have a tiny car, the parking garage is a joke. You have to drive around columns and navigate a narrow path with huge extended cab pick ups parked in compact spots. I was in a large SUV and found getting in and out to be a real pain. European garages are even tighter but somehow work better because of the way they're designed. Vending machine doesn't offer beverages - only food. The location is near all the action on 8th St (which is now just for pedestrians and outdoor eating) and also close to the green belt. The Trillium breakfast staff were friendly and efficient. The Trillium breakfasts themselves were decent. We tried many of the dishes. If you prefer plain Greek yogurt, like me, be sure to ask for it. Otherwise what they serve with their continental breakfast is sweetened vanilla. We couldn't eat the "English muffins" on our Eggs Bene. They make them themselves (ahead of time and then freeze and rewarm; I'd focus my homemade energy elsewhere). They tasted like undercooked pancakes but the rest was good. They offered to remake them but their portions are huge and we were fine without them. The Corned beef hash is served as large chunks of beef along with onions. I found it a bit dry and tough and rather than cubed potatoes, they were fried or roasted (discs). Not as satisfying as I'd hoped. I really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. Coffee was good and they're very fast to make specialty coffee drinks to go. Not sure I'd stay here again unless I could get a quiet king suite and a very good deal.

Yelp
This beautiful neon lit up statuesque hotel sits in downtown Boise approximately 15 minutes from Boise international airport I was very impressed by the staff they were completely professional and very helpful we had a late flight they also offered free shuttle service to the airport so that saved us an Uber ride the room was beautiful the bed was super comfortable they offered lots of channels lots of places to eat and get snacks they have a bar downstairs in the building itself is spectacular we had great views from the room and got to enjoy Boise a little bit before we were off to Seattle I highly recommend this hotel I actually got the room on booking.com and only paid $130 for a king size suite

Yelp
I just went to my first hockey games at the Grove on April 12th and 13th and it did not disappoint. The hotel service and amenities were convenient and helpful. I was greeted initially with a warm welcome with valet service by one of the gentleman (Jordan) which was immediately followed by a fun filled hockey arena. Both days were great experiences and would highly recommend to anyone looking for some family fun in a clean environment.

Yelp
Staying at the grove hotel (checking out tomorrow), and I must say, thus far I've had a very pleasant stay. Nice, clean and pretty rooms. Decor is nice. Hotel lobby is pretty and clean. There was one front desk lady that was not very nice BUT I think her co-worker could tell she was being off-putting, so she stepped in and she really provided above and beyond service - she was kind and showed us to the pool/sauna area of the hotel, etc. She really made up for it (wish I caught her name). Restaurant and bar staff are also great, super friendly. At the restaurant we only tried the wings but they were great. Checking out tomorrow, hopefully we'll get a chance to try more food at the hotel before we depart.

Yelp
What a great hotel and how perfect is ABBY. So friendly and helpful. The rooms are so spacious and towels are so daft. I will be back for sure.

Yelp
I recently visited the Grove Hotel to check out Trillium as well as a Steelheads hockey game and had nothing shy of an outstanding experience. Hotel was clean, food tasted amazing, hockey game was exciting and entertaining, and the valet service was very convenient. The valet driver Jordan Smith made it extremely convenient for me by keeping my car in the driveway which I appreciated. Highly recommend hockey nights, fun for all ages. I will be back.

Yelp
The whole experience was great! Started with a warm greeting from the valet (Ryan). He was very friendly and welcoming! Checkin in staff were very nice! It was a fast checking process and I had an early checkin and they were able to accommodate which was amazing! The rooms were very clean as was the hotel. The location was amazing, great restaurants and shops all around!

Yelp
Great location downtown Boise. No need for a car with so much within walking distance. The hotel even provides several bikes for guests to use. The friendly professional staff (valet, front desk, housekeeping, food service, maintenance, etc...) worked hard to make our stay pleasant. Fitness center is the best I've seen in a hotel. Pool and hot tub are great. Our room was comfortable and had a great view. Breakfast at hotel's Trillium restaurant was delicious. If I were to be picky the jetted tub worked well but needs updating. The pod coffee maker worked but was cheap and seemed out of place in a 4 star hotel. All-in-all a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay here on my next trip to Boise.

Yelp
Jordan Smith in valet services was great! I had an event at the hotel & parking downtown was nearly impossible. I pulled into valet and Jordan made sure me & my little one were taken care of. Great service - Thank you Jordan!

Yelp
I loved everything about this hotel - very clean obviously- very friendly staff - I had a nice 11th floor room and with the windows open at night was perfect. No traffic noise but you wake up and kinda sorta feel like you're in Vegas because the lights are still flashing and it LOOKS lively but it's not lol which isn't a bad thing. For the most part, very quiet and please please spend time in the amazing lobby!

Yelp
Very clean hotel. Beds were super comfortable. Pillows were fluffy. Very happy with the room itself. Nothing stood out to me as a concern. Nice location in downtown Boise. I would highly recommend this hotel. Hotel parking would be my issue. Spaces are not big enough. When so many people drive trucks or larger SUVs it's hard to trust your car won't get dinged when you can barely squeeze out of your car. My husband had to get out and back me up. Parking is too tight.

Yelp
Our check in was smooth sailing, they gave us a nice room with a nice view. We slept well, room was quiet. There was an issue this morning that was quiet disappointing, but Manager Chris was very polite and quick to resolve the issue this morning. He offered to compensate our stay and parking which greatly gave us the confidence to stay with them again next time. Thanks the Grove hotel!

Yelp
I have had the pleasure of staying here multiple times for staycations. It's close enough to everything downtown and well run. The service has always been wonderful, the rooms clean and comfortable and amazing views of the city. Another draw to this hotel is the proximity to watch Steelheads ice hockey. You can go downstairs and walk directly into the arena. If you're looking for a quiet, clean hotel with enough local attractions look no further. I will be planning another visit soon.
