Absolutely loved this place! It had a wonderful, cozy vibe that made us feel right at home. The dishes and appetizers were delicious—full of flavor and beautifully presented. The outdoor entertainment added a fun and lively touch, and the bar area was stunning. There was plenty of seating, both indoors and out. A great spot to relax and enjoy good food, drinks, and atmosphere! Planning on celebrating our anniversary here soon!

5 Stars – Exceptional Service, Delicious Food and Great Atmosphere! 06/08/2025 We were visiting from DTX and made a quick pit stop here for lunch, and we are so glad we did! Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the hostess kindly got us seated quickly during a very busy lunch rush. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming and lively, but the real star of our visit was our waitress, Lauren. Lauren was phenomenal from start to finish. The moment we sat down, she noticed our table was slightly wobbly and immediately fixed it with a towel without us even saying a word. That small gesture set the tone for what turned out to be the best service we've ever received in our lives. We've dined at high-end, top-tier restaurants from coast to coast, and Lauren’s attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care blew every single one of them out of the water. She truly went above and beyond. In our opinion, she’s the kind of talent that belongs in a management/GM position. If you're looking for a spot with fantastic food and next-level service, this place is a must and if you're lucky enough to be seated in Lauren’s section, you’re in for a real treat! Thank you again, Lauren! (Hopefully, her name is not misspelled by me, like Loren or other variation)

Excellent delicious food; relaxing casual/ classy ambiance with live music. We celebrated our daughter’s birthday and Madison provided us with excellent service. Our daughter is vegan, & we made reservations ahead of time, the chef is top notch. Thank you

I had the pleasure of eating at The Grove Kitchen & Gardens yesterday evening. It was my first time going in over 2 years. The place looks just as nice as I remember. It has a certain ambiance that isn’t matched by any other restaurant in Tyler. I ordered the Steak & Cake. It’s a 4oz Filet, 4oz Maryland Style Crab Cake, 1oz Lump Crab Meat topped with "The Money Sauce", Yukon Gold Mash, and Asparagus. I asked for some chimichurri on the side as well, seeing as theirs is really good. The filet was incredibly tender. I was even able to cut it with a fork. The crab was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Everything just went together so well, especially with the various sauces. I highly recommend this dish to anyone who hasn’t tried it. If you haven’t been to The Grove yet, you’re missing out.

LC Container LLC ventured out for brunch on a Sunday after church and we were extremely pleased!! The Grove is a little gem and one of the best spots in Tyler in my book. Sophia took care of us on the beautiful patio while we listened to the live performance. The food, atmosphere, and service were great!! We had a larger party and they got us in with no reservations, and quickly took us to our table on the picturesque patio! Our server Sophia was on point with the recommendations as well as keeping us well taken care of. Go see the Grove next time you want to have a great relaxing experience in Tyler! We will be back!

My mom and I came in from out of town and were told this place was amazing. THEY ARE. We shared the beef Wellington app and the calamari. For dinner she had a chicken dish and I had the wagyu and crab. Everything was delicious. I also had two cocktails which were both outstanding.

One of Tyler’s greatest outdoor dining experience’s. Great food and great service. Brooklyn was amazing! I ordered the Homestead Salad with salmon, a cup of tomato basil soup and a glass of Sauvignon blanc. YUM! Great date night location yet amazing and family friendly for the kiddos.

Google
I loved this restaurant. The food and decor were absolutely delicious and gorgeous!! My only constructive feedback was the loudness and noise. It was a bit challenging to have a conversation with my family. Would totally return here. Everything tastes fresh and so flavorful! Super generous portions!

Yelp
We stopped in for drinks and to try something new for our anniversary. We just went to the bar, which was gorgeous and homey. I tried a lemon drop on a friend's recommendation, and Hubs was happy they have Yuengling on tap. The bartenders were friendly and so amazing for our first time here. One created a drink for me with strawberry and jalapeño. It was a delicious burn! Since it was busy and we had no reservation for outside seats, we decided to eat in the bar. We started with the mini beef Wellingtons. Holy moly! They literally melted in our mouths. Next time, I could eat that with a salad for my meal. For dinner I tried the chicken Milanese, and Hubs ordered the chicken fried steak. The bartender quickly told him that the chicken fried chicken is better. These dishes were beautiful, and we were so excited that I forgot to take pics before digging in. The chicken was so tender on both! Hubs' mashed potatoes were heavenly. My chicken Milanese was served with a pear salad on top and cheese grits underneath. I couldn't have picked a better mix of flavors. Just delicious, but I got full too quickly. Our bartender said we should have saved room for churros...next time I'll plan ahead. With food this good, I'll have to try something new each time we visit. And the yard was beautiful, so we will definitely make reservations for outside table when there's live music!

Yelp
I was faced with a predicament that most men face at least once in their life - where to eat dinner after your propose to your girlfriend. While the Grove is the not the nicest restaurant in town, it happened to be the spot that me and said girlfriend shared our first date years ago. I thought it would be a great pick for the occasion. To ensure service was top notch, I spoke to the manager and requested his best server for the night. When we went in 2022, the Grove was average. Nothing stood out but the ambiance. When we came back in 2025, there was no better place we could have spent our engagement dinner - and that is thanks to our wonderful server - Lourden (spelling?) The ambiance here is really fun and unique. Great lighting, intimate setting and great table spacing. The chef had special entrees prepared for our evening that were not on the menu - lamb chops and fish with lobster. The appetizer (beef Wellington and wedge salad) were so fresh. The Wellington was incredibly flaky and melted in your mouth. Lourden ensured that we were taken care of from start to finish. The drinks she recommended were delicious and custom tailored to our tastes. It was just a fun night. Exactly what I had hoped for, but more than I genuinely expected. They delivered when I needed them to most. Give the Grove a try!!

Yelp
Food: I ordered the steak with crab cake. My dish was cooked perfectly. Service: Our waitress was awesome! She was very attentive & helpful Ambiance: The Resturant is beautiful and decorated.

Yelp
Looove this place! Fantastic ambiance, music and drink/food! If we lived close by we'd be regulars

Yelp
We are counting down the days until you guys reopen. Please bring back the crab dip! Also, if you could offer wild cup seafood, I know that people will pay more for healthier options. Cannot wait to see you guys soon!

Yelp
Anniversary dinner was perfect. Our waiter "Chase" was incredible. He had the evening planned out it seemed. The pace and timing of the drinks was spot on. His and the chefs attention to detail was the final touch! Thank you Chase for helping create a wonderful dining experience! Kind regards Steve and Ana

Yelp
Beautiful event space! I came here on a Friday night for a welcome party for a wedding, and the venue was stunning. It was hard to find the event space within the restaurant (there were no signs and no waiters helped us get back there), but we found out that it was towards the back kinda hidden away from everything else. It was like it's own oasis because it was sectioned off from the restaurant. There were hanging lights, fire pits, multiple bars, places to sit, even a space (a whole room with glass doors) where the bride and groom had their rehearsal dinner. There were even bathrooms for this part of restaurant, so we didn't have to leave the space. The drinks and food were ok. I didn't wait for a drink, they were very fast. The food was passed around, and I didn't like the food. The staff was friendly though!

Yelp
A group of three of us visited on 7/11/25. This place is beautiful. Stunning aesthetics. Beautiful bar with live music. BUT, the food. Simply amazing. Started off with the mini beef wellingtons. So good and tender. I ordered the salmon. Perfectly cooked and those brussel sprouts are amazing. My friends thoroughly loved their food. I had two well made Palomas as my cocktail and they were on point. When we come to Tyler again, The Grove is where we will be.

Yelp
We love this place. Make a reservation to ensure you can enjoy it too :) We enjoyed the Chicken Milanese, soup of the day, and Chicken Tinga Tostados for early lunch. The grounds are beautiful and the wait staff is attentive.

Melanie D.

Yelp
Did not reflect the allergens correctly. Different wait staff gave opposing information.

Yelp
Came by for brunch on Sunday, got the crab cake benedict and side of bacon. Loved the Benedict, the crab was fresh and the sauce paired well with it! The restaurant is upscale and great for an anniversary or celebration.

Yelp
The best steak and lump crab combo!! I fell out of my chair on the first bite. This was also some of the best service I have ever experienced. The ambiance of this place is dope. You have a huge outdoor area, a grown bar area and a classic dining room. There is something on the menu for everyone. You can go high end or just get a phenomenal burger. One of the biggest shocks for me was the craft cocktail prices. It was on par and not overpriced. And absolutely delicious.

Leslie B.

Yelp
The food is amazing every time and the service is always great! Love the atmosphere! It's a great date night or place for friends to hang out and listen to live music.

Yelp
Second time back in Tyler to visit the Grove. The quality and selections are good overall. The venue is fantastic with something for everyone. This time, we stopped for brunch and got Bananas Fosters french toast, shrimp and grits, and steak and eggs. The French toast was the star of the show; it's as tasty as it is visually appealing. The flavors on the steak and eggs were great, but the steak was definitely overcooked. It was seasoned enough and wasn't dried out, so it wasn't worth sending it back. The shrimp and grits were okay, but the BBQ sauce definitely didn't fit. Something like a creole sauce or a NOLA-style barbecue shrimp would probably work better. Loved the venue and had great service, so that did help the overall experience.

Brooke S.

Yelp
The most beautiful brunch with live music. Service has improved and the food is our favorite in town. The Turkey Sliders, Mexican Cobb with chicken, the Burger with truffle fries, and the filet with Brussels and Mac and cheese is to die for!

Yelp
Absolutely adored The Grove. Went for Brunch and the restaurant was so cute. Loved the fancy bar area to the right when you first walked in and then to the left there's a little event area you can rent out, tons of outdoor space and even outdoor space you rent out. The restaurant itself was really cute with all the funky paintings and signs throughout. It felt very much like upscale dining but it was very relaxing. The servers were all very attentive, water glasses were filled when close to being empty. They come and pick up your plates quickly. Our server was really great. Overall I loved the experience here.

Yelp
We came to the grove for the first time today and I'm not sure that we will be back. it took 10 mins for a server to come to the table to get our drink order then a waitress came took our food order and we didn't get our drinks till the food showed up. we didn't see our waitress again the rest of our meal.. we would have liked to have more drinks but no waitress.. my husband finally had to get up and find someone so we could pay our bill and go somewhere else.. also when she came to drop off the bill didn't even offer me a togo box not impressed at all

Yelp
A jewel right here in Tyler. Amazing bar and restaurant location, great for larger groups and outside seating. I always come back when I'm in the area, do not hesitate to try...

Yelp
I made reservations at this restaurant after looking at the menu online. I was looking forward to having steamed mussels as an appetizer and the blackened halibut as an entree. Neither item was available. The online menu needs to be updated. Upon arrival, We were seated at a corner table that was absolutely bare. Two of the four chairs at our table had holes in the wicker and looked like something from a yard sale. The menu I was presented was dirty and wrinkled. We ordered the Mini Beef Wellington as an appetizer. Those were good, but definitely mini. We ordered Chicken Milanese and the "special" Seabass and Prawns as entrees. The Chicken and Seabass were good, the prawns were very overcooked and gritty, which we sent back. The manager did visit our table and when we received the bill he did comp half of that meal. Looking around the restaurant it appeared neglected. Almost every light fixture had bulbs that needed replacement, the trash can in the restroom was overflowing and there was trash on the floor around it, the hallway leading to the restrooms was dirty. The people cleaning the tables were walking around with large dishpans and had rags hanging out of their pockets and some were wearing crocs rather than actual shoes. Several of them were very noisy as they went about their duties. That should be acceptable at Waffle House but not at what is supposed to be a higher end restaurant.

Yelp
Gorgeous venue came for a wedding Saturday night returned Sunday for brunch amazing restaurant great food great service Hailey! Decor is fabulous!! Live music!! Desserts so so Why are restaurant desserts so over done!! All in all loved the Groove!!!

Natalie N.

Yelp
Every time I come here whether it be brunch or dinner is always fantastic. The service is great, the food is always amazing, and their drinks are tasty too! The ambiance of the restaurant is gorgeous inside or outside. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Tyler. It might be on the pricier side, but for all it offers I think it's well worth it!

Yelp
Love the charcuterie board at The Grove. The atmosphere is fantastic. Love the outside dining and live music.

Yelp
Came here for lunch while visiting family in town and sooo glad to find an alternative to the chain restaurants on the loop! This place is super cute with plenty of outdoor space and private areas for special events. I was starving so I had a bit of everything and everything was good (the kale salad and wellingtos were my faves)! We must have caught them on a good day because service was fast and friendly. Will definitely be returning on my next East Texas visit!
google avatar

Michelle N.

Yelp
First time visiting and from the ambiance to the service, it was five star. Food is fresh and we highly recommend the Chicken Milanese, as well as the Crispy Calamari. It was a beautiful day to enjoy the great weather and eat in their beautiful patio, with plenty of options to sit. Great drink menu and live music on weekend nights. We will definitely be visiting again.

Yelp
My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. We were seated close to the kitchen, which smelled a little fishy. And were distracted by the staff saying "corner" and "order" during our meal. But aside from that, we really enjoyed our time here. Prices are high, but the food is good. Decent drink menu. Both of our meals were quite filling. My husband got steak and I got the fish and scallops. The brussel sprouts were a hit.
google avatar

Yelp
Three words, "Mini Beef Wellington"! If you go here try them. Stop reading and order them already! Also if you want a great cocktail, try the Medicine Chest! Went here for a graduation dinner, it was superb. Don't know why they have such a low score on here. Ambiance was upscale and yet had a very balanced laid back feel. Everyone tried a different dish and everyone was drooling. Left full, satisfied, and impressed with the staff and presentation of each dish. Oooo and try the lavender cheesecake, it was insanely well done, not over powering notes at all, and sooo creamy!

Gaylene T.

Yelp
My daughter made reservations and we went for my birthday. This place was charming. The staff were very nice and helpful with menu items. We did not have to wait to be seated. The food was delicious.

Yelp
We showed up at 11:20 on a Sunday morning without a reservation. The parking lot was full and I was sure we would have to find somewhere else to eat. But we got lucky. I went on open door and managed to snag a table for 4 at 11:30! The food and service were excellent. My wife and our 15 year old twins were very impressed. The entrees were creative, the servings were ample and the food was great! We are not often in Tyler, but we will definitely come back to eat at The Grove the next time we come this way!
google avatar

Yelp
I went here on a Sunday night and was absolutely amazed at how great the service was how courteous the staff is, and how sublime the food was. I had the salmon with grits and brussels sprouts and it was cooked perfect. Possibly the best piece of salmon I've had in years. I asked for Guinness and they took their time pouring it, which is what you need on a Guinness. Atmosphere amazing. Give this place a try you will not regret it.

Nicolas V.

Yelp
Great service, beautiful food, excellent restaurant! Will definitely be back next time we're in Tyler.

Albert R.

Yelp
The brunch menu is lacking of choices and makes us not want to go on Sundays. We love the atmosphere but the menus needs more than just breakfast choices
google avatar

Tabitha C.

Yelp
Delicious . Lovely space with lots of choices for dining. Mexican Cobb salad is THE BEST !!
google avatar

Luigi B.

Yelp
Great! We arrived for a later brunch and immediately seated. Eliot (server) was awesome. Went over the menu, highlighted his favorites, gave us a run down of everything around (first time visiting), and enjoyed the scenery. Food was delicious! Started with maple glazed bacon, not overly sweet nor overpowering maple bacon taste, just a delicious start to brunch. Pictures below show what we had and honestly can't wait to go back.

Yelp
I've been to the Grove multiple times and have always been satisfied. The ambiance is always so beautiful and open. Love how every room is different. The outside area is my favorite. One time I came with a dog and they were so accommodating. This last time I went for brunch with my friends. Steve was a great waiter despite them being so busy with large 25 people groups. He kept checking on us. The food, was good but I was surprised there was no beans or avocado available to go with the chilaquiles. I believe that's how the dish is traditionally served and I didn't want any meat or eggs so there was something missing. Overall, this is a nice place to go in Tyler, love the live music and definitely will be coming back.

Russ M.

Yelp
Great spot in Tyler for seafood or steaks. Great setting, terrific service, great bar and good indoor and outdoor dining options
google avatar

Shannah H.

Yelp
Terrific, terrific food. Terrific, terrific location and vibe. Appallingly slow service. I say that as a very tolerant person of slow service in the post-COVID world. But a lunch that should have taken 90 mins (accounting for slow) took 3 hours. So I can't give the Grove the 4.5-5 stars it otherwise deserves. That being said, I would absolutely go back. I would definitely order a drink and appetizer as soon as I'm seated. Then I'd enjoy a leisurely meal and relaxed vibe for however long it takes to get my meal.

Cindy K.

Yelp
Beautiful venue, the staff was friendly. The food is just too boujee. I order a Cobb salad. It was artfully displayed but mediocre in flavor and too much dressing. And very small for $13. The whole salad was the size of a tortilla shell which it was placed on top of, no protein in it left me looking for a snack a few hours later. My friend order the soup and sandwich combo and at best it might fill a small child's appetite. Hers was artfully displayed but not worth the money. If you want to go for the art go, or if you need a snack. If you want a true meal you might make another choice.
google avatar

Laura G.

Yelp
Really cute place for lunch. We ate inside because it was too hot but the outdoor space is adorable. We had grilled cheese and poblano soup that was very good. It is a little more upscale than anticipated. We were definitely under dressed.

Ginger H.

Yelp
The venue was extremely nice, comfortable, clean, and new. Beautiful grounds as well. Service was very good! Our waiter did try to sell us a $265 wine, which isn't something we would do. Most of the food was delicious! I ordered the waygu picanha. Now I have never had waygu or picanha that I had to saw through and for $55 it seemed off. In fact it was some of the toughest meat I've ever had even though it was rare. In fact had a hard time believing it was waygu or picanha . The rest of our meal was very nice.
google avatar

Adrian S.

Yelp
Love the food, priced well. Old fashioned is great as well. Sundays are crappy, you'll usually need a reservation or else you'll get seated on the lawn with makeshift seating.
google avatar

Andrew D.

Yelp
Great experience with pretty good food. Went for Bruch and was very please with service.
google avatar

David R.

Yelp
The Grove never disappoints. This seems to be our go to for our wedding anniversary. We celebrated our 34 and yes, The Grove was good in every way . From the waitress, to the live music and then the food. We had the wedge for an appetizer and it was delicious! Definitely will have that again! My wife had the Grove burger with truffle fries and she loved everything about it. I had the chicken fried steak, mashed (real) potatoes and asparagus. Very Good !!! To celebrate our anniversary, we topped it off with a Mexican cheesecake. WOW When in Tyler, give The Grove a try. Go get Full
google avatar

Meagan R.

Yelp
Amazing staff, beautiful place, delicious food. We love to visit whenever we're in the area

Joanie T.

Yelp
Shrimp & grits are memorable! Good drinks, great service. Really nice atmosphere without being stuffy.
google avatar

Lane Y.

Yelp
I am not certain what has happened over the past 12 months but The Grove has really upped their game and is better than it has ever been. The food is outstanding and their wine selection is really solid. The Beef Wellington appetizer is a must. Their tuna entree is too notch. If it's not scorching hot or humid, the outside patio is great for a glass of wine.

Breck M.

Yelp
Fantastic dinner out with some friends. Loved the meatballs, filet wrapped pastries, halibut, and wine selection. It was disappointing there was no IPA on draft, but there are worst things. Maybe you grab some local East TX brew out of Gun Barrel Brewery or some other DFW local brewery. Beautiful atmosphere outside with great weather! Haley did a nice job waiting on us and the manager brought out some unique Fruity Pebble jumbo fried shrimp. Greatness!
google avatar

Hallie H.

Yelp
A very cool looking place! Great service. I loved my food. There was fun, live music. Tons of seating. Bathrooms were clean. I recommend a reservation. The only thing is their menu is kinda small and hard to understand for first timers.
google avatar

Christine R.

Yelp
We have been to The Grove a handful of times now and every time they are exceptional. Today we were served by Elliot who was absolutely amazing at making our dining experience worth every penny. We were at The Grove for over two and a half hours enjoying every single course not feeling rushed but always being well taken care of. The food is absolutely amazing! We love trying their nightly specials and they never disappoint. Their dessert menu is always really great their cheesecake is so tasty but isn't so rich that you can't eat more than two bites. Our goal is to try every flavor! We will always be back and always leave full and happy, couldn't recommend eating here more!
google avatar

Tanisha B.

Yelp
This place is always amazing. I love the ambiance and the food and service is unmatched.
