"Located in one of the most historic downtown buildings, this 1849 pharmacy has more than a few stories to tell, including its most recent. Avena Kiely (Harvey’s Bar owner) took advantage of the time during the pandemic to reimagine the space and chose to amp up her community spirit with a small collective of businesses. Get your yoga on by day at The Melodeon, and cocktails by night with a bit of colorful flair thrown into the mix. There’s the Wine and Luna’s Vintage Food Truck out back with Harvey’s Beer Garden to accompany. Also, make sure to hit up Harvey’s Bar, and Fable Charcuterie and Wine counter service inside. The coffee was good. The service was good. The decor was very cool. The high table we had wobbled a bit. There were just enough seats, though at the time nobody pointed out the garden to us. That had plenty of space. It was noisy, in part due to a small child with a pair of lungs who just wailed and wailed and wailed. That put a dent in the chilled out vibe the place was going for. It has potential to be cool and chill, yet operating as a quasi day care facility for exceedingly loud toddlers puts me off.

Love The Grove! Harvey’s Bar has a great wine selection, handcrafted cocktails, and the best espresso martini in Lexington. Also, the cutest charcuterie kitchen, Fable, has boards that are as delicious as they are beautiful! The Greenery is a beautiful coffee shop. This space is special for downtown Lexington!

Baby’s first cocktail bar. If you’ve got a fake ID, I’m sure you’ll get decent service and you won’t notice how bad your drink is. If you’re 30+ with no other options for open bars, just get a beer. My friend ordered top shelf bourbon neat, and the bartender underpoured. The bartender got very defensive when we called him out on it, but two former hospitality professionals both saw the three-quarter-full jigger. Their signature Old Fashioned base is Maker’s Mark. Over sweet and disappointing. Bathroom floor was covered in piss and TeenNick was on TV.

Came for a cocktail and got some charcuterie. I’ve had charcuterie. I’ve posted charcuterie. I’ve pretended to understand charcuterie. This place actually understands it. The board is stacked with meats that taste like they’ve lived a full, meaningful life. The cheeses range from “approachable and charming” to “bold and slightly confrontational”. Exactly how it should be! The accompaniments aren’t filler. Every nut, jam, and pickle earns its spot like it went through auditions. It’s the first time I’ve ever considered ordering a second board just for myself.

The only bar I’ll ever visit when I come into town. Love the atmosphere and the staff. The staff are always super friendly and are great at recommending some of their best drinks. The outdoor area is one of my favorites to spend cool evenings catching up with friends and having drinks.

Drove 6 hours for an event tonight. Our event was scheduled from 8-11pm. By 9pm the staff stop serving and starting closing. They stated group who booked the event we were at went over capacity. There was never a doorman from the staff. This was an event attended by adults and their UK students. It certainly seems the bar under staffed and took this student organization money to rent the venue and did not hold up their contract or try to let the event happen. Disappointed is an understatement. I was really looking forward to spending time with my UK students at a venue that looked really fun. We come to Lexington once a month and will never go here ever again and will certainly not recommend.
