Came here for my anniversary, had the wagyu beef omakase set at 228++. Had an absolutely phenomenal platter of various beef and seafood. See pictures for more details of my praise. Most pieces of beef simply melt in your mouth even when it's medium rare.
If I were to nitpick, around a third of the uni pieces given did not taste fresh. They had a distinct sharp bitterness that made them simply inedible, even when combined with other foods. I had to take them out and eat the rest without the uni sadly, as they are one of the pricier ingredients in the dish.
Also, understanding that it is an omakase, the total meal time will be much longer than usual, but there were a few times when we waited almost 20 to 30mins for our next course after finishing our current, without any hint of why. Maybe a better pacing of the omakase by observing the food consumption speed would be better?
Alas, they are going to close down here and maybe reopen elsewhere. Hope I can come back and have a meal again soon.
But overall an extremely wonderful experience. 5/5.
