My husband and I love visiting Habit Burger Grill in Gaithersburg, Maryland! As pescatarians, we always go for the Ahi Tuna Filet sandwich and Roasted Cauliflower with garlic aioli — both are always fresh and flavorful. We also recommend the Strawberry Limeade craft juice, which is a refreshing choice with any meal, not too sugary and perfectly light. The restaurant is always spotless, including the restrooms, which are maintained to the highest standards. The atmosphere is lively, and we often see families, couples, and friends enjoying their meals together. It was wonderful to overhear a patron behind us say, "The burgers are amazing," especially seeing that my husband and I are pescatarian. It shows the range of great options here for all kinds of diners. Donna, the manager, runs a smooth operation. We overheard her thanking her staff with, "Thank you guys for today. You did an awesome job," which is a reflection of the positive and efficient service. For delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a welcoming, clean environment, Habit Burger in Gaithersburg is a must-visit!

Personally, I didn't like it, it looked like a pulled sandwich, too much BBQ and mayonnaise, everything came out and falls, even though I ordered well done, the bacon was half raw and was more greasy than anything.

Hard pass... underwhelming. 1st time at a Habit. Store was spotless clean, staff greeted me, and location decorated nicely. None of our burgers had even a HINT lf char taste for the "char burger". Burger was small as heck, toppings no taste, bottom of bun COLD soggy and flat. Fries BLANDDDD and no season at all?? As in none. The entire meal was void of taste... I ordered a double char but instead of saving even $1 and converting the soda to a milkshake (we pay difference she HAD to ring up all seperately??). Most places allow you to up a combo for milk shake and still aave a $1 or 2....not here tho. Only great thing was milkeshakes were super thick and good! Over priced compared to competition. I wish we would be return customers... i wont name competition but id go elsewhere. Oh and the Manager (Weltzy?? I think her tag read and had pink hair highlights) Was really nice and non stop busy. Working the back, greeting people, picking up trash, and even took our trash from table! She was 5 stars.

Decent burger mini-chain. This location is set close to Frederick Avenue in the strip shopping center and has indoor and outdoor seating. I had the Santa Barbara burger and tempura green beans. Both were pretty greasy. Place was pretty clean for a burger joint and staff seemed to have good attitudes.

This latest visit, I ordered two Double Chars. Instead, I received one Double Char and one Single Char (see pic) instead. It’s comical how consistently incompetent the staff at this location is, as well as whoever’s in charge of customer care. I've given this place far too many chances, and they have consistently let me down. Why have I bothered coming back? In the rare off-chance they actually prepare my order correctly, I do quite enjoy their food. And in the past, if they did mess up my order, they were quick to make it right, via a refund or credit, through their customer service portal. However the last TWO times I’ve come to this location, they again botched my order and what’s worse, they completely ignored me both times. No response, no refund, nothing. This is beyond unprofessional—it's outright disrespectful. Why even bother having a customer service portal if you're going to ignore complaints? It’s clear that they don't care about their customers. I’m done with this joke of an establishment. If you enjoy paying for mistakes and being treated like your concerns don’t matter, then by all means, waste your time and money here. Otherwise, stay far away from here. They don’t deserve anyone’s business with their shoddy service and total lack of accountability. I certainly won’t be back.

I would like to give Credit to where is humbly Due!!! As a Former GM I understand what it takes to run a food establishment. Donna the GM of your location “awesome is an understatement” along with her staff. Everyone there was amazing. She really created an awesome experience for myself and son and would recommend anyone to get great food, experience, and a family oriented atmosphere while enjoying comfort food! Food here never disappoints! I’ve been here many times always consistent! Burger juicy and fries are the best! Ranch is one of the best so make sure to ask. Update: tried the new crispy chicken sandwich and it’s pretty delicious and flavorful. It’s worth a try for 9.99.

Meh... its just another burger place that also serves shakes. Definitely not a trip worth making. Only time I will come if there's a deal or when they send me my bday coupon. The service is great. Restaurant is clean. The taste of my burger didn't wow. It's something similar to something I would get at Sheetz or Burger King. A little expensive. The good thing is they are in the shopping center where Marshalls, Ross and Five Below is at. Milkshakes are ok.

Friday 3/8/2024 I first visited this spot in 2023 to redeem a free birthday charburger reward and some other offers I had. And now in 2024 i returned to get my 2024 free birthday charburger. The charburger is nothing special, just a typical fast food burger but the birthday rewards and other offers are always appreciated. I've also tried their strawberry lemonade & their blueberry lemonade which were both alright but the blueberry lemonade was the best of the 2.

10.25.23 The Charburger and my fries/onion ring combo was ordinary and average. The only thing that stood out was the charred burger which made it crispy. The employee was friendly and greeted me upon taking my order at the register. After I received the buzzer notification, I went to the counter to pick up my order and she asked if I wanted ranch for my onion rings. Parking at the restaurant is limited, but there are more parking available in the shopping center. There are also a few assigned spaces for curbside pick-up.

*This review is for take out only/curbside pick up. I have never dined at this location* I am here to tell you guys to stop sleeping on habit grill and their salads! Whenever I'm in the area and need a quick fresh salad I come to habit. I always get the grilled chicken salad and it hits every time. You get a huge sized portion too. My husband and kids have gotten burgers and fries from here and they have zero complaints!

Wish I found this place sooner! Great option for casual eats. Their salads are so good , reasonably priced and good portion.

Can't give 5 stars because I've always had it via take-out from MIL and it's never hot. This is not the restaurant's fault lol, so just remember it's the only reason I don't give em 5 stars. I have never had a bad meal from here, one time got the chicken nugget side and they were dry and unappetizing, but again, take out and eaten several hours later. Boyfriend and his dad swear by the ahi tuna sandwich which I will admit looks divine, but I'm inevitably in the mood for a burger--and it's a damn fine burger, even not hot. I had the grilled chicken Cobb salad most recently-hold the Bleu cheese, dressing on the side. Generous portions, the red wine vinaigrette was divine, so was the grilled chicken, will order again. Even not piping hot, seriously good fries and onion rings. The strawberry shake is the bomb, tried the Oreo one another time and it really can't compete. I am glad to have a Habit near his house, wish one would move closer to me in Woodbridge, VA :D

We were coming from apple picking few weeks ago from Germantown, MD and we were hungry for burgers so we stopped by this place. We ordered the Charburger and also the Teriyaki Burger. I personally loved the Teriyaki burger and it was seasoned well. It also had a good portion of fries as well. Burger is well balanced and service was very quick. There is ample parking spaces in the front of the restaurant. I highly recommend this place. Price of the burgers is also cheap too!

The service was really good and the food was great. We had a feeling it was going to be good since the parking lot was full and it did not disappoint. The burger was freshly prepared and cooked all the way through. The balance of all the ingredients was spot on and the fries were also very good and crispy. If you find yourself hungry and in the area it's a must visit spot.

I was so hopeful prior to my first visit. I mistakenly thought the burger was going to be "charcoaled" grilled. It was not. No aroma of charcoal wafting through the restaurant. I loooove their one burger but their fries are not the best and the servings are very small which I get is good for the fatties but if I'm paying 12 dollars I expect a meal that'll fill me up

i come here regularly when i'm on my lunch break, and i love it here. the ambiance of this place is nice and modern, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is top notch. you have the option to order at the register or use one of the kiosks. i'm a fan of the latter, especially since it's so intuitive to use. my standard order is the BBQ bacon char-burger with fries and a strawberry limeade. the burger is full of flavor and filling to the right degree, the fries are nice and crisp, and the strawberry limeade is refreshing and too good not to get. it's no wonder i find myself constantly coming back!

Habit burger is working hard to keep customers safe. They have a staff member seating people at alternating tables, and it looks like each table is cleaned after everyone leaves. They have removed common items, and drink refills/napkins are available by request to the staff. They're operating with a friendly smile! I'm in the healthcare profession and very nervous when it comes to social distancing, but I felt very safe while dining in here. I ordered the Santa Barbara burger, and it was HUGE and delicious! The sourdough bread made the sandwich as big as two burgers combined. The burgers were juicy, and I loved the avocado in it too.

The burgers here are very delicious - just the right amount of seasoning and sauce to make the perfect combo. They also have unique sides like garlic cauliflower which puts a nice spin on the typical French fries option (though they have those too). The inside is also quite nice if you dine in. The only complaint I have is that if you do not order ahead, it usually takes a long time. Every time I have been in here, there has only been one person working the register regardless of the amount of people - which can be frustrating. Also, if you get items to go - sometimes the burgers can be a little soggy when you get home.

This place has gone to the dogs. I'm not sure what has happened. Perhaps the economic downturn or dealing with Ks all day have made these employees, and a manager in particular, provide less than stellar customer service. Let's start with the curbside service. If you can't bring an order out within 5 minutes of it being ready, don't offer curbside pick-up. It's really that simple. Continuing this trend, there seems to be a disconnect with online offers and what they will honor in the store. On more than one occasion, I have gone to the Habit with some sort of coupon from their mobile ordering service, and the brick and mortar portion of the business had no idea what they were looking at. On top of that, refusing to honor it. This is just a bad business practice. Now had the manager that was on duty had a decent attitude toward me as I displayed toward her, I would have just paid for another sandwich. But she clearly had an axe to grind with me. I have been frequenting this place for years and I've watched it steadily decline to where it is now - the gutter. Another case of good food, abhorrent service. I'll throw a rock and find another fast food burger joint.

This place is disgusting! I ordered a spicy crispy chicken sandwich. I ate half of my sandwich and was about to give the other half to my husband, but I saw moles on the bread. EWWW! Never eating here again!

This restaurant is not all to what its hyped up to be. Not saying the food wasn't good. It just isn't great for what you pay. I took the whole family out and the total was about $40. If I knew I was going to pay that? I would have went to TGIF or Olive Garden. lol They charge you for everything! 0.60 for cheese, etc. Just a heads up so you won't be shocked. lol The burgers had WAY too much bread and the inserts of lettuce and tomato? made the bottom of my sandwich SOGGY! MY husband got the double char burger and I got the VEGGIE burger. The veggie burger tasted funny, but I still ate it. I honestly think my KIDS! meal was way better. lol Their char burger with cheese was GOOD! The fries were ok, they were cooked a little bit longer and were kind of crunchy. Love the location and the inside of the restaurant! The tables were clean and the seats in the booth area were comfy! Love the fact you can just grab your meal and sit down and eat! The place was CLEAN too! Not trying to knock it fully, there is some good to this place. lol Just go here and scratch it off your bucket list and keep it moving. I don't think, I will come here again for myself. Just for the kids. :-) Shoot! I might get myself a kids meal, since that tasted better than what I got!

Came here for lunch and so glad it opened a location in Gaithersburg! It has so much more variety than other burger joints, with chicken and tuna! Their burgers are char grilled, yet I've haven't tasted the char yet. Nonetheless, the burger tasted great with all the fixings. They also have a pickle bar and thankfully serve Coke products. They have fries, sweet potato fries and veggie tempura and other options besides French fries. Good hot tasty fries I've had today. Their salads are quite filling and a good alternative for those that are doing low carb or trying to be healthier. A lot more variety than your typical hamburger fast casual place. Now the parking is strange. Only has say 10 spaces out front and if it's full, you have to park in the strip mall lot (not too bad of a walk).

Honestly? I wasn't too impressed. I'd been hearing praises of this place for a long time. So I was actually quite disappointed to have a very average burger. We got two charburgers with cheese, fried string beans, fries, and two drinks. The best thing honestly was the fried string beans and there is something wrong when the veggie side is upstaging your main draw of a chargrilled burger. I mean the word 'burger' is in the name. I didn't find the meat to be particularly well seasoned and it was not juicy. It was actually greasy and not in a good Five Guys' way. Maybe these are opening kinks and they'll work it out; for now I'll be heading to Five Guys for my burger cravings.

This place is more than a decent stop for your occasional burger fix. You can personalize your burger, or choose from a few menu items. I believe their burgers are made fresh to order. And of course, their fry game is on point with the option of regular, sweet potato, or onion rings. You also have non beef options to choose from such as their grilled and fried chicken filets, and salads. The customer service is always served with a smile and efficiency. And the restaurant is clean and overall well maintained. Parking is a small nightmare if its during peak hours, but at most, you have the choice to park at nearby store within the shopping center and walk a little distance. Overall, I recommend checking the place for a quick bite.

The tuna sandwich was good and so was the chocolate shake. The fries were not. They don't add any salt to them and they seemingly have no seasoning. I added salt from the packet but really that doesn't help. Then you just have clumps of salt sprinkled on the dry fries. This is kind of odd that the regular fries don't have much taste. I would expect more from a business like this.

A friend told us to try it, so that's exactly what we did! The family meal was a perfect set up, and I love that you can personalize each burger in this plan. The website was easy enough to use and place an online order. Taste: burgers were nice. Yummy and far better than many competitors. Fries were decent, but I ordered extra crispy and couldn't tell which one of the mix was mine. Love the option, but was really hoping for some crispy fries :( Convenience: Love the way they wrap the burgers for eating ease (while in a car). Suggestions: since they allow for customization, i would love to see more offerings, like jalapeños or A1. If you're going to offer crispy fries, MAKE EM CRISPY! Better label the customized orders. Had to open each burger to figure it out. Overall, enjoyed and May return. Thanks for the experience!

The Habit Burger Grill is an American fast food burger joint that serves burgers, sandwiches, salads, shakes, and malts. Shortly after The Habit Burger Grill opened, I join the The Char Club, which gives you a Free Charburger with Cheese for your birthday. For lunch, we shared a Charburger with Cheese, Chicken Caesar Salad, Onion Rings, Root Beer, and Strawberry Limeade iced beverage. I customized my Charburger a little bit. It consisted of american cheese, caramelized onions, grilled portobella, beef patty, pickles, crisp shredded lettuce, and mayo in between sesame toasted bun. I liked how the burger wasn't seasoned too heavily with salt, beef patty was lean, and the burger was still juicy. The Strawberry Limeade was a bit on the sweet side and tasted better when diluting it with water. My friend enjoyed his Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. It consisted of chopped romaine, croutons, and freshly grated parmesan cheese tossed in their signature Caesar dressing and topped with a diced grilled chicken breast. He also liked the portion size and how it came in a disposable takeout container. He also had crispy onion rings with ranch dip.

So... what's up with the employee at this place? Do they not know common sense? No offense to anyone but jeez. Honestly this habit is eh. First of all, the women in the navy blue shirt with glasses had a automaton voice getting my order. Clearly she seem like she ran the place but I think not! I had a free charburger coupon hoping to get a free burger as well as another burger. However, when I got my order there was only one... I mean if I'm ordering one type of burger that wasn't even a basic charburger and I gave you a coupon. Shouldn't that been two different items? Didn't want to be that guy so I just left. What a waste of the coupon... it wasn't even free lol. I even asked to get the it with combo meal but she made my order separate... alrighty then. When she tried punching my coupon into the system. It took her multiple tries and eventually she asked someone else. This was my second time giving it another try but after this experience never again. GG.

All I can say is wow! This place was so tasty and delicious, that I didn't even get a chance to take a picture before digging in. Before I start my review, I must say shoutout to the very Upbeat, helpful, and optimistic staff& high five for pushing out quality food! Most of the staff working here is young , and it says allot when teenagers are able to have such a fantastic work ethic, instead of the non-chalantness that can be found at some fast food joints where Teenagers work. So anyways, onto the review. I ended up ordering a Crispy Chicken Sandwich that was the bees knees! I ordered it with a side of sweet potato fries, the sandwich was fried to protection & the Sweet Potato fries had a nice sweet taste and the perfect crisp! There was a nice spicy sauce that was on the Sandwich that made you want to just keep taking endless bites. I must also say that the quality of the food was great! It had that nice down home flavor and quality about it. Check this place out & Cheers to good eats!

The Chipbata bread taste it good order the barbecue chicken sandwich portion sizes are a little small but overall had a good taste definitely will be going back. Make sure and check your order before you leave because my friend got the wrong order other than that they're pretty good overall they forgot his portobello mushrooms and a sauce just double check your order people

This place has the best burger of any fast food restaurant in the area. Great grilled flavor and best fries in the area. Simple menu and fast service. Love this place when I plan to eat unhealthy :)

I decided to give habit burger a try again as this was a new location. I had a not so great experience at the Rockville location. As for customer service the women who took my order, Karla, was SUPER nice and professional. She was even telling people to have a great day on their way out. Rare at fast food places like such. I went at 1pm for lunch and there was a pretty long line. As for the burger itself, blah. It was only $4.40 so I can't be too mad. I got the charburger with just American cheese (they don't have cheddar), ketchup and mayo. It was mostly bread. It also took quite awhile to get my order but again they were busy. I feel like I could possibly make a better burger. The burger itself is very small. The location is nice and inside is nice as well if you wanted to sit down for a meal.

This place has the best fast food burger and fries in Maryland. Stopped in earlier this week and enjoyed the pleasant service and good fast food. Will definitely come back next month.

Just your typical burger restaurant, nothing too spectacular about the burgers here. They're still delicious but nothing too great compared to Shake Shack and In n Out. I got the charburger which is your regular burger but I added cheese and bacon for additional $$. Patty was flavorful but a tiny bit too salty. Their onion rings are good, fries were soggy (it may be because we did a take out order and ate them 10 min later). My friend got the Santa Fe Burger which comes with two patties, avocado and cheese. They offer your regular sodas and have three different teas made in house: Tropical, Citrus Green Tea, and a black tea. The teas were weak and lacked flavor. Habit Burger is more affordable compared to Five Guys but I would rather spend the extra bucks at Five Guys.

Exceeded all my expectations. Really didn't like the habit burger in Rockville. Based on that and the reviews I was prepared not to like this place but they gave us a free burger promo so I came. I'm glad I did. Service was very friendly and not fast but timely. The food was good not great. I like a five guys burger better, but we liked the sweet potato fries and the tempura green beans. The price is a bit high but worth it for the quality of the food. The highlights were the kids meals and the special fruit drinks. We especially like the peach nectar and ginger drink. The kids meals are enormous and yummy. Unlike most places, they are worth the $4.50. I'll come back to try the milkshakes and ice cream.

We come here after the gym sometimes. Everything has been great both times I ate there including the Santa Barbara Char ($.50 upcharge for chicken) and the Santa Barbara Cobb Salad. If you like avocado like me, then take note that when you see the term "Santa Barbara" on the menu, it means that the salad or sandwich has avocado and possibly bacon. Also, they grill the toast on the burgers and it really adds something nice. Last time I was there, I noticed that they put a hint of horseradish in the mayo as well. Just enough to notice but not too overpowering.

Want a burger that tastes like a Big Mac but way better? I ordered the Original Charburger with cheese. That first bite had me thinking, "better than a Big Mac!" Perfect buns and the burger patty was so juicy. Fries cooked to perfection, not soggy or over done. Nice and crispy! I am seriously hooked, if my diet allows me too, I'd eat a burger from here every day. I'm literally drooling just thinking of it's sweet juiciness and those fries. Or perhaps that's just the baby I'm growing inside me and he really loves them too! I love sesame seed buns, something about them gives better flavor to burgers. If I ever do a burger eating challenge please make it these burgers! The customer service was excellent too! Friendly and smiling, they reread your order back to you too.

I love this place and their food selection never disappoints. When you want a food classic burger, you just can't go wrong. I especially love that when you order delivery, you get the option to order your fries well done, no salt, salt in the side. Just so many possibilities - you really get to customize your order to your liking. Even with delivery. Probably would be better in person because my fries were soggy, not crispy, and I asked for no salt and I almost couldn't eat them they were so saltt

It's really frustrating to order food and not get parts of it. UberEats doesn't give me the option to explain so I guess I'll do it here. If an item says it comes with ranch and ketchup (or any other thing) MAKE SURE YOU ACTUALLY INCLUDE IT. I've been missing items from at least 3 of my recent orders. I'm sick of ordering food and not getting everything I'm supposed to. It will be a long time before I get food from Habit again, if ever.

I was not sure what to expect, when I saw the ad for this place in my Sunday paper supplement. It turns out that this is strictly a fast food place, kid friendly and noisy. We went there at 1:30pm on a Saturday and it was bustling, but we were able to find a seat. It is not at all relaxing and you will need to talk over the too-loud easy-listening rock music. It was also very cold and so a lot of customers, including me, kept their winter coats on while eating. When you order, you get one of those flashing disks to notify you when your order is ready, so you can sit down and wait rather than stand. I ordered the "Santa Barbara Char" (double burger, lettuce, avocado) which was listed as a "seasonal feature." Close to 1,000 calories, it was good and a great bargain at $6.25. Also tried the onion rings and sweet potato fries which were good. After eating, I decided to order a coffee shake ($3.75) and was given a disk for that. My drink only order was put in the que with all the other orders, so I had to wait. The shake was good, although I think I may have gotten mocha instead of coffee. I was charged tax although it was take-out, so be sure to specify take-out if if they don't ask if it is. Will we be back? Doubtful.

Food here is excellent! I don't know what makes this burger so tasty but thank god - I'm not a big five guys fan (and they are everywhere for a quick not-quite-fast-food burger). The tempura green beans and sauce that comes with them did not disappoint. It's a healthy French fry, right? I get in my daily serving of veges - right? And they have strawberry lime made - as much as you want?!?! Then switch to an unsweetened fresh brew tea after you've had all the sugary sweetness you can take. Delish. Seating is minimal and bathroom are a bit eh, but this is a great lunch spot with great food. Sweet potato fries were great too and they have a small help yourself fresh pepper bar with an assortment of sauces beside it! Yum.

My first experience with The Habit Burger Grill was at the Pikesville location. I was yet again craving a burger and from a positive experience at the Pikesville location, I decided to venture off to the Gaithersburger Habit Burger Grill. I'm not sure if it was an off day or a big mistake, but it wasn't as enjoyable the first time around. We ordered a charburger with cheese, double charburger with cheese and bacon, and garlic fries. The burgers were soggy and a lot less grilled. Again, not sure if it was an off day or just wasn't the spot for us this time around. The bonus was that they had curbside pick up and a lovely staff member brought out our food.

Ordered the Portabella Char with avocado and it was really good! Did curbside pick-up, the staff was friendly, punctual and wore a mask. Our first time eating from here but will definitely order again! Not giving five stars only because the garlic fries were not crispy at all, otherwise everything was great!

Donna the manager was the most welcoming, heart warming beautiful woman I've ever met! I was with a large group with kids, she walked over so kindly and an inviting smile and told us since the kids gummies that they give out have gelatin, since we're Muslim... she offered ice cream cones for all the kids! Their faces lit up soooooo much that it made their day just by her act of kindness! Definitely recommend this location! Service was amazing, as well as the food was brought out fresh to us!

Really great experience my second time at this location and they were very friendly and accommodating. I had a free chat burger coupon and since I'm currently not eating beef I asked if they wouldn't mind substituting something else for the char burger and that was fine I just had to pay the difference for any add ons. The gentleman that rang me up was very helpful and patient with me. He has a smile on his face the entire time and it allowed for a very pleasant experience. Will definitely be returning again. Also they have a veggie burger for inquiring minds.

This is some awesome food you guys are the best thanks for the food and you have the best staff members keep it up

I ordered here during quarantine. I work in the same shopping center so I eat here ALOT! They have lost my business. And this Reveiw because of the lack of customer service after the fact. But the last time I went, I took it home, looked in my bag, and it was all wrong! They must have given me the wrong burger. I ordered the Sante Fe and got a sourdough with meat, mayo, and bacon! That's it! I was charged for the Santa Fe which is way higher priced due to the avocado and everything. But either way I did not get what I asked for, but I did get my green beans with my receipt on it labeled correctly. I then contacted the contact for m on HabitBurger and guess what they wrote me after a week. Basically they contacted the Habit Burger location and they'll do better next time. I quote "we will follow up with the team in Gaithersburg to ensure they are working on order accuracy" Are you kidding me???!!! I put pictures. Y'all let me know if this is a Sante Fe burger!
