I felt like I was back at home in NYC. The halal guys do not disappoint. The food was amazing. I got the regular chicken over rice platter and it was fresh and flavorful. The hot sauce packs a punch but so worth it. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. Shout out to Alexi for suggesting the baklava chocolate cheesecake it was delicious. The place is clean and organized. You won’t regret visiting.

Fantastic, catering order. Everybody was happy it came super quick and fresh. Got a hell of a deal and I will definitely be going back. People kept raving about the quality of the food at this particular location. Looking forward to working with them again.

Tried this out and the food was very good Gyro was well seasoned and lots of rice and veggies with it. You can get the different sauces added also. Regular order with a drink and tip $20. Wish they had lamb options.

The food is incredible and unique. I got the chicken and beef combo platter (medium size) and had enough for dinner that night, too. The turmeric rice is warm, floral, and delicious. I added olives and they were an amazing pop of salt. The white sauce is a perfect way to pull everything together. The staff was super friendly and informative. I will definitely eat here again!

Food is always always amazing. We live in lake Mary and now have to drive to Orlando since the lake Mary location closed but it's so worth it. The manger or store owner is also so cool he's always there. He sparks up conversations and will give you more sauce if you ask for it. Just the whole vibe and ambiance makes you feel welcome. We always get white sauce to go and then put it on everything at home!

A meal option that you can't go wrong with. If you're looking for fast service, good portions, and great food try Halal guys. I like mixing half gyro and half chicken on my order. It comes with yellow rice, tomato, lettuce, and pita. The white sauce can be optional, but it definitely wraps up the plate nicely. Additional toppings can be added as well. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. Plenty of free parking available. The staff is friendly and will greet you. Ambiance is relaxed and place is well kept.

SETH was AWESOME!!!!! he knew that it was my first time here and gave me all kinds of really cool recommendations. Not only him but the other guy and Girl on staff were absolutely wonderful as well and provided me great customer service. I think I found my new favorite food spot in town And I can't wait to come back again!

Went here for the first time in years. As someone who lives now in Tampa, I've been worried about finding good middle eastern food. The halal guys is a top notch food place, that has increased in quality, and taste, with very nice people, and with a very clean establishment (as expected at this type of franchise). My wife and I both got the regular size bowls, with chicken, and added onions. I would say for some the regular size could be considered too large (I helped her polish off everything later). My one issue (if any) is the price is creeping up with inflation. This used to be $8.99, and now it's $14 (price change in 6 years).

I love going to the Halal Guys for lunch as it's close to my office. it's very affordable, delicious and the portions are good sized and enough to keep me full for the entire day.

My husband and I drove 30 minutes to check out Halal Guys! We always hear about the original halal guys in NYC and how famous it is, we decided to check out locally. For the prices, I think the portion sizes are pretty good and filling especially when it comes to the platter options. (I personally don't think it's worth getting the "Sandwhich" offerings as you get a smaller portion.) I got the falafel small platter. I added onions for free. The platter comes with pita, rice, tomatoes, and lettuce. You can add premium toppings for an extra charge. The falafel comes in 2 flavor options: honey sriracha and regular. I tried both but thought they both taste the same. I decided to try the red sauce on the side as it supposedly is super spicy so they gave me a packet and I told them to add the white sauce in the platter. In terms of taste, the falafel platter was delicious. I thought everything tasted fresh and falafels were nice and crispy! The rice was soft and had a lot of flavor. My issue was the lack of white sauce that they put on my platter. They just put the white sauce on the falafel portion of the platter instead of putting it through out. The original halal guys cart in NY would put the white sauce evenly instead of in one area based on the videos I've seen. Due to the lack of sauce, my platter felt dry. I then had to resort to using sriracha that I had in my fridge. To management: Don't be stingy with the sauces when customers are paying over $30 for food. Overall, I would definitely be back and next time, I'll ask for extra white sauce!

Halal Guys - Orlando I had always wanted to try Halal Guys, so I stopped by the Orlando location while in the area. The BBQ spicy chicken was flavorful with good spice, and the white and hot sauces were a great addition to the meal. However, I noticed a few downsides. They upcharge for hummus and olives as additional toppings, which felt unnecessary given the already slightly overpriced menu. While the food was decent, it wasn't exceptional enough to make me go out of my way for it again. Overall, I'd only go back if I happened to be nearby.

Second time coming to this location, it's in a great area. Waterford Lakes Shopping is right across the street. For the most part seems like it's rather quiet. The food was pretty good. Got a small chicken platter, with that being said it comes with a side of tomatoes, lettuce, and rice. There are other add on, like white sauce which is a must! Place was clean and service was very friendly and quick.

Once again the food was delicious! I've been ordering the olives to accompany my mixed grill lamb and chicken and I must say they are a hit! The white sauce is always a treat and the service was excellent.

Overrated Franchise. So let me start off by saying I highly anticipated trying this place out. I heard about the yellow carts in the streets of NYC and saw the amount of food they pack in that foil tin round container. It is pretty much a Halal Chicken and Rice bowl. The tin bowl consists of yellow saffron looking rice with meat options of grilled chicken or gyro beef. Lettuce and Tomatoes and either the famous white sauce or the very hot spicy red sauce as a topping with naan pita wedge slices. The most popular sauce drizzle is the white sauce or the red sauce. You can have the option of having both kinds of meat in the bowl. So upon entering the waterford lakes location - I notice on a weekend this place was empty. Kinda odd for a Saturday for a place thats supposed to be good and popular be so empty. So reading the menu and seeing the 2 size platters available - Small and Regular its about $1 difference. I opted the small size. I assumed the reason being they would pile up the rice and meat so forth. I was WRONG! The lady who prepped my platter made sure the ladle of rice was leveled and she did 2 scoops. She did 1 scoop of chicken and 1/2 scoop of lettuce and tomatoes. Lettuce and Rice is CHEAP. Why are they portioning this bowl as if it costs so much to ladle more rice? Or add more tomatoes and lettuce. When she drizzled the white sauce it was barely covering my rice platter. I had to ask to add more sauce. For $10.99 I get more food at CHIPOTLE! When I carried my platter it did not feel heavy at all and I knew I would still be hungry. So as far as the food - You have to mix everything except the Pita pcs like its a salad. This is why the white sauce is important to have as far as drenched so the whole platter have this umami taste LOL This platter is pretty much Chicken and Yellow rice LOL and they add lettuce and tomatoes. Its good but this stuff you can make at home. The rice didn't have a taste to where its memorable not brothy taste enough for me and the chicken reminds me of those chicken pcs when Taco Bell use to use chunks of chicken for the chicken tacos and burritos. The white sauce didnt impress me at all. It tasted like a yogurt sauce thats amped up it tasted bland as well. I expected the white sauce to be the highlight of the platter but unfortunately this whole experience eating this was a low blow. I ate the food and was still hungry. And my expectations from this franchise was upsetting. Spending that amount of money and I was still hungry was very disappointing. Never again that I will come back and support. Maybe when I am in NYC I can try out the carts instead. Hopefully they will give me more portions and the taste is more authentic! Halal Guys you were a let down in Florida!

This is the second time I have been here. This time I ordered the beef platter. It was a little dry and something was missing. It was bland even with the white sauce. I added the hot sauce which was really hot. I was disappointed, maybe next time I will order the chicken. Service was fast. Price was moderate. Ambiance- casual

I think it's a lot of the Nostalgia of galavanting the city after a night out, and landing at a Halal guys truck, but that yellow bag is just like Coke red & Pepsi blue

Food is always amazing, service impeccable, there's an older guy that works there and he always makes every visit memorable and gives the absolute best service. Wish I remembered his name. Very clean and sanitary place. Will always come back here!

Ordered to-go on a Monday night for dinner. The chicken platter was too salty, to the point the lettuce didn't even help offset the salt. The chicken sandwich was soggy with the pita bread so dry it tasted like it was going stale. It was not an enjoyable meal but we ate it because we were starving after a long day of working overtime. It has been a while since I've ordered from them and the sandwiches were well-made in the past year. However, I don't think I'll be ordering again anytime soon due to quality of tonight's meal.

Johnny & Daniel always make the experience a great one. They are personable and very welcoming. If you have questions about the food or options they don't hesitate to help you make a great choice. The food here has us coming back because it tastes REAL. I know, sounds crazy, but these days its hard to find food that doesn't make you bloat or your stomach hurt from being so processed. Its also always very clean when we go early in the morning. I definitely recommend if you want a clean eat that isn't overly priced.

Glad to have one of these in Orlando! The platters are absolutely massive, so go with the small if you're just starting out. I could take a bath in the white sauce. The hot sauce is not for the faint of heart, though, be warned!

Food was okay it's not like the one you get in New York City staff was attentive plenty of parking portion size is okay you can skip the lettuce and tomato and just get all rice and meat falafel was crispy and food was ready quickly I still recommend it for others.

I think their food tastes great, except the pita. I just really don't like it, I don't know how it supposes to be, but the guy just took it out from a bag and rolled it; he should toast it first, shouldn't him?! Staff is energetic, friendly & extremely patient. Price is reasonable. Would love to come back.

Very tasty and reasonably priced. Good portions and the red sauce is SPICY! Friendly service, fast, indoor table layout is weird and hampers lining up to order and socially distance. I have added to my favorites so I will be back. **Wanted to add an update** - my friends who are from California and live in Kissimmee LOVE this place! Why didn't they tell me? They have some explaining to do! Someone mentioned it was "very NYC' and yes, you're absolutely right. Another friend who lives closer lived in New York for a long time while playing on Broadway and we used to go out quite frequently for a bite at a local halal place. This place HAS TO BE GOOD if my sister the traveling doctor from Missouri loves it! And just so you know, I drove from Melbourne, Florida for this and they did not disappoint.

Absolutely love this place... the gyro with lamb and chicken is so tasty you will want to buy another one. The owner is a great guy and a lot of fun and the food is always fresh. Download the app and get on over to this place because once you have something to eat here you will be back I guarantee it.

The falafel was okay... The service lacking, and unpleasant. The ambiance is about the same as eating in a Subway.

To quote the fabulous Tina Turner, "we don't need another Gyro!" I disagree and the Halal Guys have pulled it off with their new Plant Based version. This counter service restaurant typically serves up chicken and meat gyros, but for a limited time (and hopefully permanent), they have a plant-based option. Even the tzatziki is plant based. I ordered one gyro and much to my surprise, they shaved the "meat" from the rotating spit, similar to a real gyro. Awesome! They built me a massive gyro which I will say was messy to eat, but they had unlimited napkins so I was able to clean up accordingly. This sandwich ate like a real gyro with lettuce and tomato (I added onion too). The meat could have had a bit more seasoning, but the consistency was pretty close to real gyro meat which is semi-processed anyway. Thanks for putting this out there and keep the innovations coming. Finally, there's something for the vegan other than falafel! I'd probably get a rice bowl next time as it may be easier to eat, and better for take out/delivery.

Much better service, I continue to go to Halal Guys often. I think it's a great price for the serving they give you. A regular platter is usually good for 2-2.5 servings for me. Service is quick and the staff are always friendly!

Great place, very friendly and food was delicious.!! It's been a couple of years since I had been back. It's great to see it's still here and has improved so much! I totally recommend it!! The other indan a few doors down lost my business because as soon as I walked in, they stared me down and didn't greet me, and I had to sit myself down and didn't make me feel welcome for that reason I came here where I knew that I would have a better experience.

This Mediterranean restaurant is a must-visit! The food tastes fresh and is served in good portions. With locations all over New York, I was happy to see it in Florida. Highly recommended for fans of Mediterranean cuisine!

I've been to this Hala Guys location a few times before and they never disappoint. I ordered a regular size chicken platter with the white sauce of course (extra white sauce:)). I wanted some chocolate chip cookies but they ran out. So got some baklava instead. When we got home, the chicken was fresh and the extra white sauce made it complete. The baklava tasted fresh and not too sweet. I highly recommend this place. The regular size platter feeds 2-3 hungry people all for around $11.

Spicy chicken and beef mix combo was awesome! I add d green pepper and onions for more flavor then topped it off with their famous white sauce! Nouren took great care of us!

The Chicken Platter was AMAZING. I ordered 2, one for dinner and one for lunch the next day, but there ended up being enough for both meals with 1 platter. So, the serving sizes are plentiful! When I ate it at lunch, my students were drooling over the sight of it and I don't blame them because it was delicious. The sauce, which comes in individual packets, was what made the meal. It seasoned it perfectly!

***PRO TIP: Get the red sauce ON THE SIDE. Until you know it's power, don't let them put it on for you.*** ***PRO TIP 2: Get the Groupon whenever possible. Why pay more if you don't have to?*** The food is SO good here! I had a Groupon, and it was just me eating, so I went a little crazy. As above, I can't stress enough how important it is to get any sauce on the side. The red sauce is incredibly hot, and will kill anyone who doesn't like spiciness. The white sauce is cream based, so it won't reheat well if you have leftovers. I had the combo platter, and I was not disappointed one bit. Everything was seasoned just right, and a little red sauce with a good portion of white sauce set it off perfectly. I also got some fries and falafel. The fries were hot and crispy just the way I like (Y'all know I'm the Fry Snob). The falafel was okay. But I'm not a falafel expert, so there's that. If I see that Groupon again, I will be there!

It was definitely refreshing having Halal. My standards were high coming from New York and having plenty of Halal guys food trucks all over the city. I will say, it didn't meet the standard of those places. It was good, but not great. I would be back for sure, but not a go to spot for me. Might have to fly back to NY just for the authenticity and quality of the food behind the brand name.

I found the meat a bit dry, and the white sauce, which everyone raves about, was a bit overpowering for my taste. The service was fast, which is a plus, but the overall experience lacked a personal touch.

chicken shawarma was dry and flavorless but I think the taste of everything else made up for it. not worth the price though, and left me a bit disappointed
