Generous Portions and Tasty Food, But Service Could Be Improved I had mixed feelings after my visit to The Halal Guys. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were incredibly generous—especially the extra protein. I always ask for extra protein at places like Chipotle and Qdoba, and I’ve never gotten as much as I did here. That alone was impressive and worth coming back for! However, the service left a bit to be desired. I had a hard time understanding the staff when I asked for the bathroom code, and even after asking a couple of times, I still couldn’t make it out. I ended up trying what I thought I heard, but the code didn’t work. Honestly, I was already a bit turned off by the lack of warmth from the staff, so I gave up trying. I later noticed another customer having the same issue—she couldn’t get in either and eventually just left. The food was great, but a little more attentiveness and clearer communication would make the overall experience so much better. I’ll definitely come back for the food, but I hope the service improves next time!

Service was quick and nice. I came in at a time when there was a rush of customers, because it's directly across from the theatre. It might be hard to find a seat during a rush, but there's areas outside you can sit around too. Food was delicious.

Got in on a late flight on Sunday tried this place because it was open and I'm glad I did. Food is amazing and the service was fantastic.

This is very nice place to get halal food with very nice options such as falafel, platter and other varieties. I had the platter with chicken and beef and it was worth trying out. Really liked the taste and the quantity also. The staff is also very friendly and nice interiors for seating. Definitely recommend anybody to visit this place and enjoy the food

This halal guys location is one of my favorites! Mohamed and Abu Bakir are literally the example of service with a smile. They are very kind! Will definitely come to this location again!

It was my first experience, and the service was so so so amazing the man with bleu t shirt with glasses 🕶️ .. was nice with me he explained to me well gives me multiple options to choose and smiling all the time the team gives a good vibes .. the order was really fast to made wish is amazing I really loved the combination between colours in the store the lights was perfect not the one who hurt eyes .. the platter was so so so delicious the beff cooked well the shawarma too I loved the sauce on top gives an amazing taste I did go to the recet room after I finished eating and it was so so so clean .. the hall atmosphere was amazing I give it 10/10 if I can give more then this I will 20/10 I want try it over and over this time I will bring family and friends. You do a really great job thank you all

I was super excited when they announced that they're opening a location in South Bay. This location is like 5 minutes away from where I live lol Super friendly staff at this location. Matter fact, I don't recall a time that I was dissatisfied with Halal Guys lol been enjoying their food since day 1 when I had it in New York. TIP - add green peppers and onions (free!). You'll thank me later

Great food always! The chicken is juicy and full of flavor, also is the beef. Halal guys always grace us with its clean and themed restaurant (good ambiance). The only note for this branch is that the workers aren't that friendly, and didn't answer my questions when I try to ask them about something. Nonetheless, Halal Guys is always my go-to food Price ranges from $9 to $20

Surprisingly, it was so-so; fresh, good enough, but a bit bland; perhaps that could be compensated for w/more sauce, but I got take-out. Also, it took a bit to complete my order, but give it a pass for that as it was not too long after opening, and 1 of the staff was a trainee.

I first ordered take out and most recently went in for pick up. My observations is that this location isn't very high traffic, so the meat isn't fresh off the roaster like if you get it in NYC. For example, I went in at 7:30pm and the roasters were empty and clean, just pre-cooked meat in the trays waiting to be served. It's still good, but not nearly as hot and fresh as NYC. However, they seem to have more toppings than at the NYC food carts, which I admittedly haven't been to in a few years. That being said, the platters have generous portions and it's a pretty good deal.

TLDR: Tastes like Halal Guys You know it. You love it. It's Halal Guys. Get some extra white sauce but be careful cuz that red sauce is actually hot. New place looks fresh and staff were friendly and efficient. I love eating Halal Guys and this place tastes like one.

Went around 5pm on a weekend and the place was not too busy. Service was quick and workers were friendly. Go to order is the beef gyro and chicken platter with onions and sauces on the side(the hot/red sauce is a lil on the spicier side so start with a little bit and add more as needed) . A little hard to find parking right out front but the South Bay parking lot isn't too far of a walk.

The hubs and I met our son for lunch today in South Bay and really loved this place. The restaurant is a cute little self service place with very friendly staff. We got there early and the staff were so friendly and welcoming while we waited. My husband and I got the falafel platter and it was so good! Think of this place like a cafeteria restaurant. You order your food and make as many customizations as you want. Some items cost extra, some are included. The falafel was hot and crisp. The platter came with four falafel-not that you can tell by the picture! We couldn't wait to eat but I wasn't leaving without taking a picture. My son's beef gyro was stuffed with beef gyro meat. He got lettuce tomatoes and jalapeños and he said it was delicious. I highly recommend the white sauce! It's like a thin version of tsasiki without chunks of cucumber, but was good on everything. They even keep a bottle in a refrigerator in the seating area so you can add more if you like! If you head to South Bay and want a great fast casual head here-you won't be disappointed!!!

Great fresh food there was a live dj and the Staff is so nice 10/10. I also received a card for 2 free falafel they are soooo good.
