The last time I had Halal Guys before this was last January at the Manhattan cart. When I had it then, the food was dry and almost tasteless, not to mention pricey for what you got. This location on the other hand, had better food than the Manhattan cart in my opinion. The combo platter that I had at this spot wasn't dry and actually tasted good, much better than the Manhattan cart. For an extra charge, they'll even let you add things like baba ganoush and hummus to your food. The reason I took off a star was because the portion size of both rice and meat was on the smaller side, which I wouldn't have minded if the platter wasn't so expensive at $12. The combo gyro was almost $10 which is pretty insane as well. I haven't been to the Manhattan cart in a long time but I think this location might actually be more expensive than it, not to mention they don't seem to give as much food. Being from Queens, it might be the most money I ever spent on a combo platter. The falafel was pretty good, and so was the gyro from what I heard. The customer service was great and I didn't have to wait long for my food. Ultimately, I may come back here in the future if I'm in the area but living in Queens, I can get a combo platter of an equivalent quality and quantity for a few dollars less.
