The Halal Guys find a home at the Venetian - Eater Vegas

"The second Strip location for The Halal Guys, and the first for franchise partner 7 Leaves Cafe, has finally been revealed, with the operators combining the two concepts into a single space at the Venetian’s Grand Canal Shoppes food court. On the future menu, The Halal Guys will offer the Manhattan-born menu already available at the Forum Food Court at Caesars Palace, featuring chicken, beef, or falafel gyros, plus hummus, baba ghanoush, fries, and the famous “magic” white sauce." - Bradley Martin

We ordered- •A regular size platter of beef gyro and chicken shwarma combo platter on rice with lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, and onions. It was 10/10. Don't forget to add the hot sauce. It's phenomenal 👌, We like 4 lines of it usually. •We also tried the chicken wings - 8/10. For the price its a bit small, and they could probably increase the amount. But it's a good wing, good flavor and crunch! •We tried their regula baklava cheesecake for the first time, and it was amazing! 15/10. So good, not too sweet, but the cheesy flavor paired with the subtle nuttiness was delicious 😋. Must visit this place if you can, we drove 1 hr to come here, totally worth it! I am surprised it not packed all the time!

Food: Personally the food was decent, but I don’t see myself coming here again. The baklava was good but a tad too sweet for my liking. A lot of people were raving about how amazing this place is in New York, but I don’t see the hype around the food. I live 30 min out and it’s not worth the drive for me. If you live around this area definitely try it out. Place/ Atmosphere: The place is clean and nice. It has plenty of space to dine in. Service: The service was great.

The food was AMAZING for what we wanted. We got a regular platter to share between me and my wife. It came with plenty of food. We also got some hummus and baklava cheesecake to try. The platter was delicious. We got half beef and half chicken. Absolutely hit the spot. The halal sauce was 12/10. Hummus was good. Baklava cheesecake wasn't too bad either. It was my first time in and the staff was very friendly and helpful with ordering. Overall, highly recommend checking them out!

If you are a Missouri native and want to have a damn good gyro, look no further. Slowly cooked, wonderfully sliced meat. Spicy sauce so hot you feel it on the brim of your mouth. The baklava is a perfect ending to a great meal. Great food, great vibes, great portions.

Thought I'd bring my teenage son in and he loved it. We definitely need to come more often. The Gyro, Beef and Chicken Platter with the white sauce, hummus, falafel, everything was 5 🌟 Absolutely delicious 😋 The women there were so patient and helpful. Also what happened to the Green Godess sauce ??? 😋

PROs: Great location. Plenty of parking. The service was exceptional. Menu is simple and easy to choose from. The food was good. CONs: The packet of white sauce didn't taste like tsatziki sauce, I opted out of using it for my meal. We shared that our son loves Halal Guys and he had experienced it in Texas but we had not. The manager mentioned being from Houston when he asked which Halal Guys establishment in Texas did our son visit. The manager was very kind (southern hospitality) and we noticed he treated other patrons professionally as well.

I love The Halal Guys! I have enjoyed The deliciousness in Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, and Las Vegas. When the announcement came that one would open in my home town, I was ecstatic! The only thing I wondered about was if the same standards would be met. Everything at this location is 100% delicious and on target! This location is the friendliest one I've ever been to. Every single employee was pleasant, smiling, and very efficient. Everything The Halal Guys does, they do it extremely well! I've already been here twice in eight days. The meat and chicken is cooked to perfection. I tried a side of falafel today, and I loved it! All ingredients are fresh. The secret is the white sauce! Oh my is it delicious!!!! You can actually buy a 750 ml bag of it to take home (we did) and use it on things at home. You can also buy just a packet. My favorite thing to do is to get a regular platter (only $1 more than the small), load it up with white sauce, and mix it all together (see my picture). Now if you want spicy, go for their red sauce. Be warned as it's 100,000-130,000 Scoville units! Just a few drops is plenty! It's too spicy for me though. Friends who love spicy say it's great! Make sure you download The app for offers and to earn points toward free food! Finally, the portions are large. If you get a regular platter you are getting a lot of food! Often, you will have plenty to take home and enjoy later. I cannot say enough great things about this location!! THANK YOU!!

I was so excited to see the halal guys in KC because I really enjoyed this when I tried it in NYC. We drove half an hour to give it a try. First impression - pricing of their platters were good especially for the amount of food they give you. These guys definitely don’t skimp out! The workers were very nice and they loaded up our platter pretty good! They also didn’t skimp out on the white sauce which is a must! We were able to move down the line pretty quickly so it was easy to get in and out of if you’re in a hurry. The food was just ok. Not as good as I remembered. We ordered the beef platter and the meat was kinda greasy and a little over seasoned. They were very generous with the white sauce but it was a little too much for me. Still happy that they have a location in KC if I ever get a hankering for it.
