Where to Eat During Ramadan After a Long Day of Fasting in Las Vegas

"With locations both on the Strip and in Chinatown, the Halal Guys serves the same street food that the chain started doling out in the ‘90s in New York City. The platters come with meat like beef gyro, rice, lettuce, and tomatoes along with your choice of toppings and our garlicky white and red hot sauce." - Janna Karel

It's a Halal Guys! One of the better choices in the Caesars Palace food court. It's a bit pricey but it's a Vegas hotel and food is expensive everywhere these days! It's definitely worth the $2 upcharge to get the bigger plate. Their hot sauce is one of my favorites. You don't need much at all to spice your whole bowl but if you're a fan of spicy then squirt the whole packet on your bowl.

Google
I dont recommend this place. Chicken was blue-ush color once i bit into it, ended up tossing it away. Fries was good and fresh.

Google
My husband and I were glad to find this place here in Las Vegas since we always grab a bite when we travel to NYC. The food was delicious as always and it came out quickly. The only thing we didn't like were the dirty trays. It was a bit gross.

Google
Our second time coming here. First time I was very "inebriated" and thought it was the most amazing thing ever. Came again for this trip and while it's not the best thing ever, it's really really good and the amount of food you get for the price feels fair. Ladies at the counter were nice, and the food was ready very quickly. The atmosphere was a bummer due to it being a busy Sunday afternoon, with tons of people everywhere and seating was tough to come by.I got the beef gyro and everything just tasted great. Crinkle cut fries were very tasty too. I feel like between the gyro and platter you can't go wrong, but I did miss the rice you get with the platter. I will come here again for sure.

Google
I enjoyed my visit to The Halal Guys at the Caesar Palace food court in Las Vegas. The food was satisfactory and the staff were notably friendly, adding a positive touch to the bustling atmosphere. The area was lively but could benefit from cleaner tables. Overall, it's a good spot for a quick bite in a busy setting.

Google
Located in the food court, this outlet serves limited menu but flavourful selections. Service is OK but don’t expect 5 star service or service with a big smile; you pay what you get. And the prices were fair considering it’s location. Nice place and good food, what else do you need for a quick bite around Vegas?

Kristin

Google
The food was super quick and worth it imo. My friend and I shared a small sized platter, and both of us were full after. Someone with a larger appetite may finish a small size themselves, but I think I could've split a small size into 1.5/2 meals. My fave part was probably the pita slices. The pita was so warm and soft, and I wish they provided more than 3. The gyro itself was lowkey too salty so I'm glad there was lettuce to cut the salt, and tbh I'm used to gyro being in slices so seeing the chunks of meat was a bit off putting

Google
This was my first time trying Halal Guys, and unfortunately it wasn’t what it was hyped up to be. That said, it’s in a Vegas casino food court which is practically the same as ordering food in an airport. The chicken was barely seasoned, the rice tasted like it had been sitting in a tray for hours. Overall it was filling and wasn’t terrible, but don’t try it with high expectations. I will say this, this place is likely better than most of the other restaurants around it.

Yelp
Having a little food court within Caesars Palace was so convenient to grab a quick bite and always been a big fan of Halal Guys! I ordered the Beef Gyro sandwich and thought it was very good! They really stacked on the meat which was much appreciated and the meat was perfectly cooked, not too soft and not too crunchy. I thought the service was great as well. There was ample seating at the food court too!

Yelp
This was by far the most ridiculously slow place to get food. It is currently 1pm and they have one person working the entire front of the place. My husband has already gotten his food from the chicken guy and my friends have gotten their food from Bobby's burgers...I told them to go sit and eat because I am still in line!!!!' And haven't even ordered yet! There were legitimately 4 people in front of me, while the other restaurants had 10+ and I am still waiting. This is absolutely unnecessary. I would get out of line if i wouldn't now have to get in another line - although at this point I would probably get my food faster at another place. I hope the food is worth it..such a crappy way to start...

Yelp
I'm from NYC and the REASON why people even go here is bc of the VALUE. You get a substantial amount of food for a good price. The one here in Las Vegas is THE OPPOSITE!!! I don't know who is in charge at this location but you can tell there was a shift. I'm an employee at Caesar's and I use to frequent this place bc of the value even though it's DOUBLE the price of the same thing in NYC and they give you SO MUCH FOOD over there. They were soooo stingy here i literally had to say something and they looked at me like I was crazy. This is the second time this has happened. I thought the first time was a fluke and the 2nd is my last. Don't go to this location if you're hungry or you work at Caesar's! Waste of money!
google avatar

Wendy L.

Yelp
The Halal Guys is one of the best deals on food in Caesar's. Most of the dining options are on the pricey side, but The Halal Guys is reasonably priced. For a small plate, it's less than $20 and it's a sizable amount of food that can be shared amongst two people. The food is pretty much made so getting your food is quite quick. The food is solid but not quite like what you would get from the original food truck in New York. There are a number of options within the food court, so people can get whatever food they like and still eat together, though the food court can get quite crowded.
google avatar

Karen M.

Yelp
Wish I brought home more red hot sauce home with me. Always a must when in LV and so glad it was only a short walk from our hotel. Service was extremely quick with the long line, I was able to place my order with one lady and pay right away.
google avatar

Brian P.

Yelp
Tasty spot to eat at in the Caesars Palace food court, but it's a little pricey at $17.99 per plate. It's definitely more expensive than any other location in town or even the ones I've been to in NYC! They have prices for sauce packets on the menu, so I'm not sure if they charge extra for sauces. We asked for white sauce and were not charged extra, so it's possible that the 1st packet is included with your meal purchase. I highly recommend the white sauce! Their red sauce is super spicy, so be sure to use with caution!

Yelp
Grabbed food after a late show and had to try this after my husband did. I ordered the chicken bowl and falafel to go. The chicken bowl was delicious but the falafel was a little over cooked. I went with the small bowl, and it was loaded with rice, meat, lettuce, few pieces of pita bread, and sauce. You can't go wrong with this bowl it was that good.
google avatar

Jeanette T.

Yelp
It wasn't bad but we've had better. The falafal was too crispy. Everything was just ok. Nothing to come back for.
google avatar

Krishna C.

Yelp
Not much options for toppings. Stingy with their portions. OK if you are craving something real fast, I guess.
google avatar

Sunny C.

Yelp
I was really impressed by the food quality here. It's actually very tasty and they don't cut back on the meat. Service is the typical fast food service. It's located in the food court area of Caesar's Palace, so plenty of seating.
google avatar

The Yelp Bae ..

Yelp
You've got to try one of their juicy gyros here From the hummus to the lamb, everything has its own flavor and goes perfect with any salad or vegetable combination. The drinks are also refreshing! Don't forget to grab yourself some baklava and coffee on your way out
google avatar

Brandee M.

Yelp
As good as their stand alone restaurants! It is in the food court so there are plenty of seats to sit at outside of the counter! Same good quality as the restaurants- fast service my only complaint was that the two working were just slow and did not look happy to be there. The beef and chicken bowl were good and I would come back. Beware that hot sauce is still hot!!!
google avatar

Kevin P.

Yelp
Fast and delicious. It was very convenient being placed in Caesar's palace. I do wish they didn't charge extra for packets of hot sauce.
google avatar

Matt K.

Yelp
Not bad. Chicken plate lots of chicken and everything else. Just a tad dry on the chicken but not overly. Fast service.
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
I have heard so many great things about the Halal Guys location in New York so I decided to try the one in Las Vegas - located in the food court at Caesar's Palace. I ordered the combo plate, which has chicken and beef, along with rice, lettuce, tomato, and pita bread. The portion sizes were decent, I wasn't able to finish the whole plate in one sitting. I thought that the food itself tasted average and there was nothing that really stood out to me, but adding the white and red sauce to the food did make it taste more flavorful.
google avatar

Liz P.

Yelp
So I'll start off by saying that the food at this place is a 4 out of 5 for me, but unfortunately I have to give three stars for this review. The Halal Guys is a popular NYC franchise - I believe they started off as a food cart and I've been to the original one in NYC. This location is located in the Caesars Palace food court, near the forum shops. Everything was pretty pricey. My boyfriend and I split a chicken and beef bowl, which also comes with pita, rice, lettuce, and tomato, and it was about $15.99. Pita sandwiches are $14.99 and they even charge for sauces like hot sauce. One of the things that annoyed me about this location is that I asked if I could have some tap water, they said they didn't have any. They had one of the machines similar to Coke freestyle and they told me I would still have to pay for a cup ($5.99, for sodas...) if I wanted water from it. That's a bit ridiculous. The food itself was good but like I mentioned, definitely overpriced, which is why this location gets a three-star rating from me.
google avatar

Rhonda M.

Yelp
Always eat at the Halal Guys when in Manhattan so was happy to find this one in Ceasars at the food court in Las Vegas. Prices in Vegas have sky rocketed. This meal was a larger portion for the money. It was not as good as the location in NY but was much better than other fast foods in Vegas. The rice needed to have more flavor was a little bland. I added salt and still needed something. I would eat there again since it's a good portion and price for Vegas. Walked up and ordered, food came quickly. There is an area to sit and eat.

William G.

Yelp
After waiting 2.5 hours for delivery and calling more than 10 times. I traveled to them so I could cancel my delivery order in person to assure I get refunded. Avoid at all costs.
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
I don't expect a lot at a food court in Las Vegas. And the reviews for this place appeared to be consistent with that. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the chicken sandwich. I thought it was worth the price and generous with the chicken. I thought it was well seasoned but ate a bit dry. I could have used more of the white sauce, which you can get for an additional $2.99 for a packet (the same size as your fast-food ketchup) which I thought was ridiculous.
google avatar

Rolando G.

Yelp
Absolutely do not eat here. They only had chicken when I went for lunch at 11:30am, I should've known that was weird. It turns out it was this boiled grey looking chicken that wasn't what I was expecting. I wanted something fresh off the... grill or whatever the rotisserie is called.
google avatar

Anne C.

Yelp
Located in the Caesar's Palace food court, it was one of the only things open after our show. We had this in New York on a street corner and this met up to our expectations once again. The portion size was huge. My husband and I were able to share a large platter combo. There are only a few things that dropped my rating for them. I didn't like was that they charged for each additional package of the white sauce. This sauce is delicious and really brings the flavors out of the rice and meat. However, I didn't think what was given was enough. We got there past 11pm and the meat was dry. Again, I'm sure that it was fine earlier on in the day. I asked which meat was the freshest, and even then, I can tell that it was sitting in the warming trays for awhile.

Enoch G.

Yelp
Needed a quick bite to eat while waiting for our 10:30pm show (Absinthe). Wife loves The Halal Guys and has raved about their "white sauce" for a while now... Bought our tickets and headed inside Caesars to grab a couple plates... $38 later I got the Gyro plate and my wife the Falafel plate both loaded with White Sauce. The plates were mediocre and not as amazing as she built it up to be all this time. We ate and headed out to wait for our show to open up. Suddenly my wife and I become extremely nauseous so we grab a bitters and club soda drink but unfortunately the urge to is so great we we have to cancel our tickets (thankfully the amazing staff at Absinthe move our tickets to the following nights show). We both have slept horribly last night... Thanks Halal Guys for ending an amazing day with such a horrible experience which will probably spill into today. I would not recommend this place to anyone...

Yelp
I've eaten at other locations of The Halal Guys (Houston areas to be specific) and I've always loved the food there. I was excited to see one THG at the Forum Food Hall at Caesars Palace. The stall is very small, but has clear signs of where to order and pick up the food. The menu features their signature sandwiches and platters with a choice of chicken, beef gyro, chicken and gyro combo, or crispy falafel topped with white sauce, or fiery hot sauce. It is the perfect pick-me-up for lunch or late night snack. Although the service was great, I thought the food was subpar compared to other locations I've had. I had the combo platter and the beef gyro was so salty, it was almost inedible. I finished the chicken instead. The meat and rice also tasted dry. I was a bit surprised because I expected their food to be consistently good at any of the locations since it is a franchise.
google avatar

Joe P.

Yelp
Our first time here and we were not disappointed. The beef gyro plate with white sauce was really good. We had it to go and it took us 40 minutes to get home, but still came out good. The hot sauce is very HOT! Lol, but it goes with the meal. I know they have a Halal Guys outside the strip, I will check them out, probably the price is lower.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
I had this delivered to the cabana I had at Caesar's Palace Garden of the Gods. The delivery was pretty quick from the moment we ordered on the phone to the time it took a staff person to bring it to us. The food itself was good, but nothing extraordinary. I asked for tzatziki sauce and they gave me some white sauce that was not good at all. All in all, it fills you up and isn't a disappointment.

Kent C.

Yelp
Wow are you kidding me? Eight dollars for a bottle Of water. It's not even Fiji water. And then they dareask for a tip when they're not even bringing the food to your table. $8 bottle Of water. Hard pass.
google avatar

Robin S.

Yelp
I haven't been here for two years since they would sometimes open/close. I have to update that the hours are normal again! The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. So happy to be able to come back!!!
google avatar

Cyndi C.

Yelp
total disappointment! who serves mayo (aka white sauce) as a gyro sauce. gross! nothing more to say. don't waste your money.
google avatar

Yelp
The first time I tried Halal Guys was from a cart in New York which is where it started and I fell in LOVEEEEE. Fast forward to me living in Chicago where they opened up a couple locations and I would eat there once a week. Now cut to this Halal Guys. It's not it fam. They changed the recipe. I think it's the seasoning of the chicken or maybe how it's cooked. The rice was also orange where it used to be yellow like their logo and that red was their red sauce. I ordered a large and I couldn't even stomach to eat the rest. I was pretty disappointed. The only consistent was THE FRIES. My friends and I swear that they put crack in it because of how good they are. Lol but seriously. Just like in Chicago, the fries take the longest to make and let me tell you, it's definitely worth the wait. I think it was about 10-15 minute wait after you pay for everything, but they come out FRESH and they come out PIPPING HOT! You will never be disappointed with their fries (god I hope I'm not wrong) Maybe it's just this location. I'll have to go back to Chicago to see if it's because of the time passage. But why change a good thing?
google avatar

Aly R.

Yelp
Okay so I've been craving some hummus and I heard these guys have one of the best. I love how they give you your food right there right away while you are ordering i really love that system they have going on. Their sauces not sure what they are called but it's so yummy!!! Overall the food was good!
google avatar

Ben S.

Yelp
$8 for a bottle of water. The prices are insane at this location. I know it's Cegas but it's crossed the line of expensive to insane.
google avatar

Amanda B.

Yelp
Very basic pita sandwich with barely anything extra and it costs $15???? It is not worth the price. The service is.... Lacking. One guy standing at a register barely interacting or doing a thing and the poor girl making all the food from precooked ingredients. Hopefully the beef is cooked properly. This place is a one and done for me.
google avatar

Glenn M.

Yelp
I have eaten at their locations in New York City and the amount of food you get here is about half of what you would get in New York and at a higher price here. It was decent but not as good as the NYC locations so we were a bit underwhelmed. Las Vegas prices have gone sky high so this was about $18 a person which for Las Vegas is very inexpensive so you get full and have a decent meal in comparison to most other places. Drinks were almost $7 so that was a bit higher than other places but they have refillable soda fountains so drink up.
google avatar

David F.

Yelp
Another restaurant where Yelp reviewers are punishing the restaurant for their prices by giving them sub par numbers of stars. This food outlet in the Forum food hall is as good as any other location. The servings are generous and the food is very reasonably priced for a resort hotel like Caesars Palace. Service is very good also, the employees have always been friendly with me. The ambiance is that of a food court so nothing really to say about that. Great food for a fair price.

Christopher Z.

Yelp
This is the worse Mediterranean restaurant I've ever eaten at. The chicken has no flavor and tastes like it was boiled. The beef shawarma was way too salty. You have to pay extra for hummus. The lettuce and tomato is similar to fast food burger places.
google avatar

Apple S.

Yelp
I know halal guy have been mediocre in my experience and this was below even. I'd expect a fast turnover so fresh food but it wasn't the pita bread was dry and the meats dried out as over cooked! The rice and lettuce was good and I liked the white sauce was served along.
google avatar

Lindsey D.

Yelp
First time trying Halal Guys and definitely not my last! I had the chicken sandwich which includes chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and white sauce in pita bread. Perfect simple yet flavorful sandwich when you are a little hungover in Vegas.
google avatar

Melody D.

Yelp
Yelp says that this location at the Ceasars food court closes at 0100. Arrived at 0016 with 46 minutes before closing and all the food is removed and no service. Tried looking and calling for someone but no one responded.
google avatar

Chase B.

Yelp
Not like the original Ny food trucks you can have. I ordered the classic beef gyro platter. It was average. Very dry. They charge for hot sauce. They charge for water. Classic Vegas tourist trap. I was hungry and service was good though. Definitely doesn't compare to the food trucks in NY
google avatar

Nanda K.

Yelp
Very much disappointed with this place. It was below expectations. The chicken was not good and they charge you for red sauce. They give a complimentary red sauce which only has two drops of sauce in it and have to pay $2 per extra pack. The employees weren't that friendly at all. The pita bread was hard and not tasty. Totally disappointed by the maintenance. I hope they improve. There are better joints to try than this for Mediterranean food in Vegas than this place. This is just an over kill.
google avatar

Aidanka S.

Yelp
I ordered sandwiches specifically with (extra sauce $2.99) and fries room delivery paid $45 for that it's including tips +plus tied $5 more on the top of it. Really was gonna enjoy my meal because I was not feeling well and didn't wanna go out. When I've got a delivery it's was completely dry zaida and put any sales on the sandwich and never gave me my extra sauce. So how I said I'm not feeling well. I still went downstairs to get it fix. I was really polite and stayed on the line for 30 minutes. Finally my turn became I explain everything what happened I explained the price how much I paid in instead of getting me a fresh sandwich or at least offering me something else for their mistake gentleman just trying to give me a pack of sauce???? Excuse me really !!!!! And his attitude OMG

C T.

Yelp
I've eaten assholes that tasted better than this and didn't cost $40 for 2 servings! (0)
google avatar

Dennis B.

Yelp
Not as good as stand alone locations. Expensive and quality was poor. Was really hoping to have this as a good late night spot.

Jason W.

Yelp
Refused to give me water. I ordered a combo platter and asked for a cup for water for the soda fountain right next to it. They said I had to pay $6 for a soda cup or buy a water bottle. I politely explained that I don't drink soda and don't need bottled water. I asked for tap water and they refused to give me a cup. They said they don't have too. I ended up not eating there. Unreal. I understand that this is Vegas, but refusing water is inhumane.
google avatar

Sierra S.

Yelp
This was the perfect break from all the fried and greasy food that you can get in Vegas. It was refreshing and I wish we had one in San Antonio!
google avatar

Saeed A.

Yelp
The Halal Guys serves up mouthwatering halal street food that hits all the right flavor notes. Their signature gyro platter is a must-try for food enthusiasts looking for a delicious and satisfying mea
google avatar

Jorge R.

Yelp
Pretty yummy place. Open late and satisfied my late night Gyro craving in Las Vegas on the way back to my room. Prices were reasonable. Food and prepared quick and good. This one's located in the food court at Caesar's Palace Casino on Las Vegas Blvd and it was my favorite. Great for a quick bite.
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Does not live up to the hype. They also had really slow service and ran out of toppings. I got the chicken wrap and my partner got the regular chicken platter. For my wrap, it looks like it has a lot of ingredients but really it's just a lot of lettuce and tomatoes. The pita for the wrap was sub par. Honestly worse than some brands to could get at the store. The only good part was that the chicken was moist and flavorful. You can choose to add their white sauce and hot sauce as well. The white sauce kinda reminds me of ranch oddly. The hot sauce does have some heat which I liked. I wanted to add peppers, onions and olives which are listed as additional toppings but they didn't have any of those. Vegas has a lot of better options. Would skip this.

Maya A.

Yelp
Terrible food I got food poisoning almost ruined my whole night I have never tried food that was so horrible food court food isn't usually that great but this was actual trash do not get the chicken.
google avatar

Wesley C.

Yelp
The food was good. I got the combination plate (beef and chicken) with sauce to go. For fast food, the food was fresh and tasty. The service was very fast and the price was OK, in the $20 range with a drink. The place is located in a food court so the ambiance was quite hectic but manageable. Would definitely return.
