"I found that the suburban Halal Guys locations in Skokie and Countryside are run by a different group and were unaffected by the Chicago franchise dispute, remaining open while the three city restaurants closed." - Ashok Selvam

I order 2 smallI ordered two platters from here on Uber Eats, but they cheated and sent only one platter. When I called them to ask why, they told me to contact Uber. But what will Uber do? Uber just delivers the food! When I asked for a refund, they refused to give my money back and said they can’t help, only Uber can. Just ridiculous — nobody should ever order food from Halal Guys again. Such dishonest people!

“I recently visited this location of Halal Guys in Chicago, coming from Tucson. The beef gyro was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Although the traffic was heavy, it was definitely worth the visit for the amazing food . When i will come next time i will definitely stop by here again. Let me know if

Google
Place has become terrible, food taste worse you get less and spend more. I wish I could ask for gas money back for even driving here took 2 bites and threw it away inedible food. Can’t wait for the day they close

Asif R.

Google
This location has been here for quite a while and it shows. This was my second time here and service is still good. Food is very consistently good as well which I appreciate. We had: Chicken Shawarma Sriracha falafel Beef Gyro Eating on premises here is a good idea. This type of food is meant to be consumed fresh and tastes so much better compared to when you take it go. Be sure to ask for extra white sauce which is their specialty. Worth a visit for sure 👍

Google
The staff was friendly wasn't crowded maybe because I went on a weekday. Meat was a little dry but ok. Chicken could use some seasoning. Rice was flavourful. They should keep spoons too. I ordered mix platter

Google
The food was just amazing and blows my mind every time I have their chicken. I had their food in New York and Chicago and they maintain their standard. The spicy sizzling chicken is beyond amazing.

Google
I don’t really care about the food that was average, but Its the not so good customer service at this location, not very pleasant attitude by the person preparing the food. Also, he wanted to charge my friend extra for a slice of Jalapeños on his bowl, also that was a bit strange. Also the portions are tiny, half of that aluminum plate is lettuce, a spoon of rice, and some burned cut gyro meat!!!

Kyial S.

Google
Went to this place for the first time today and was very excited, since I had their gyro about a year ago, my brother had bought and brought it for me, which was a very delicious gyro. Today, I went in for my lunch break and saw the "lunch special" on their display tv on menu board, but when I ordered a small plate, which is a part of the "lunch special", the lady didn't tell me if I get half chicken, half beef it won't be a "lunch special" anymore. And when I asked for a couple gardinera peppers, she said it is considered a "side" and I have to pay for it, although the ad for lunch special is " a small plate, one side and a drink". So I paid $14 for a small plate and she couldn't even give me couple peppers, althought the lunch special is 12.49 or 12.99. The food was delicious, though.

Yelp
If you're looking for a quick, satisfying bite, Halal Guys is definitely worth checking out. I usually order a small platter with the gyro meat, and it never disappoints. I like to add hummus (for an extra charge), along with the basics of lettuce, tomato, pita slices, and onion. I always top my platter with their signature white sauce, which is delicious. They also offer a hot red sauce, but it's a bit too spicy for me. Every time I've visited, the restaurant has been clean and well-kept, and the staff is efficient and quick when preparing meals. It's a reliable spot when you want something tasty, filling, and fast!

Yelp
This was my first time visiting The Halal Guys, and I had a great experience! My friend had just discovered the restaurant and was raving about the food- I knew I just had to try it for myself! The restaurant is spacious, well lit, and very clean. I enjoyed a small platter with gyro meat. They offer lettuce and tomato on the side along with rice and pita. It was a filling meal for dinner! The flavors of the meat, rice, and white sauce were absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back and try the shawarma, which is available for a limited time!

Yelp
I used to love this place. The last two times I went, the staff was miserable, unfriendly and acted like I was bothering them by being there. They need some training in customer service and are the main reason I will not be returning to this restaurant. M

Yelp
Love this place! Funny thing is i discovered tgis in the Philippines when they opened a branch there. The original branch is in New York. I think its kinda like a food truck in NY. I always get a combo platter. Comes with Chicken Beef Rice Lettuce Tomato and Pita. Drizzles or flood it with their white sauce. Be warned that their hot sauce is super hot. One or 2 drops will make your ears smoke lol. If you havent yet. Give them a try! Happy Eating!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Halal guys If you haven't tried them yet, we recommend! Inside is a very chipotle/naf naf kind of style where you get to choose how you want to create your bowl or pita! We do have to say if we compare them between naf naf, halal guys is WAYYYYY better! Everything here tasted fresh and their sauces are so delicious! The service was nice and the inside is chill!

Varisha A.

Yelp
Love the food here! I ordered the regular chicken bowl which could probably feed two people. They provide huge portions and everything is fresh and clean. The chicken is cooked well, and they layer on the sauces! The red sauce is definitely my fave and gives the bowl more flavor. Everyone is very welcoming and provide excellent service as well.
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Decent food you get a lot for your buck! I recommend not to much of the hot red sauce at the end get it on the side you'll thank me later
google avatar

Shveta A.

Yelp
Ordered chicken platter and falafel both tasted good. Food was fresh. The place was kept well but the staff seemed to be new therefore they were having hard time understanding the condiments we requested. Drove 45 mins to go here because we have tried Halal guys original in NYC and also in PA. But this one was not close in taste like them. May not return because of distance spl.
google avatar

Anthony M.

Yelp
Halal Guys portions are ridiculously small for the high prices. Staff are emotionless and unfriendly, making you feel unwelcome, like they're forced to work. The customer service is so bad, it's no surprise the Loyola location closed. I wouldn't be surprised if this one follows suit soon.

Yelp
Listen... 1. If you're going for nostalgia and to make you feel like you're back on the streets of midtown NYC, you gotta remember... you're not in NYC. But thank your lucky stars you've got a place that brings you 95% there with the great flavors and zero $300 flight to LaGuardia. 2. You can get lamb or chicken kebabs and rice at lots of places around North/Northwest Chicago area, but if you're looking for something that tastes like a regular Halal Cart from NYC this place is it. Literally... you won't find other places do this particular style. There's a distinct style and flavor that only Halal Guys brings to the area. If the above is you, then you can't give this place anything but 5 stars. Lez be honest. If you want to critique pricing/value or changes in flavor or spice, sure - but I think this place does something unique and nostalgic, and I'm willing to pay for it and choose it above other options when THIS flavor is what I crave. Anyway, I do love the rice and the combo gyro and chicken plate the most. Not a fry guy or baklava when I'm here. White sauce is unmatched AND the red is still spicy! Sometimes we'll add on some jalapeño and olives.... Mmm... Kinda craving it now... brb

Yelp
** Much improved ** ** Kind Staff ** Delicious! Had the gyros, cooked to perfection! Much improved, keep up the amazing work!

Yelp
Have been ordering the same thing for years from this location. They have been cutting corners recently. They used to include sliced up pieces of pita with a regular platter. Just received what looks like 4 tiny chewed up pieces of pita with my meal. Unacceptable
google avatar

Yelp
Nothing extraordinary about this place but nothing overly negative either. There are several restaurants in my area that offer this type of cuisine and while there are others I like more, for a fast food type place this is pretty good and with somewhat healthier options than a burger joint. Servers are quieter but still pretty friendly. The wraps I get are always good weather it is with chicken of falafel. You do have to pay for extra toppings even if it's just a few slices of jalapeño but I guess that's somewhat understandable. The sandwich/wrap fills me up for a while so it's worth the price, parking is easy as it shares a big lot with the Walmart and the lot is pretty big.

Ricardo S.

Yelp
I love the food here but I am rating this because this location has gone down in cleanliness. The soda machine is disgusting and probably hasn't been properly cleaned in over a year. The floor is filthy. The staff is okay. It it is disappointing to see the cleanliness level.

Yelp
This place is phenomenal the portions are great prices not bad at all I have zero complaints I will warn u tho the hot sauce is nothing to play with its strong be carful lol but great. I go with the chicken it's the steak isn't bad but gives me acid reflex ‍ the service is super fast can't lose.

Kim F.

Yelp
Love this place. Fast, friendly service, great food, generous portions. Delicious platters and falafel.

Yelp
I've always wanted to try this famed NYC staple. When I saw a location opened off of Touhy In the burbs I knew I had to finally try it while I was in town. This is a solid 3.5! If this restaurant was in Anchorage I'd probably rate it higher because of the lack of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurants. But, Chicago has an abundance of good small, family run Middle Eastern restaurants that provide delicious food for a great value. I picked up a regular beef Shawarma bowl to go. Service was quick, and polite. The menu is straightforward. It's not like Naf Naf or roti where there's tons of toppings to add. The regular is a decent sized portion of food, but it is mainly filler. I ate the meat fairly quickly. The white sauce and hot sauce is good but people rave about it so my expectations May have been too high. I will say I enjoyed how hot the hot sauce was! The beef was tender, and not too fatty. For a fast casual place I was impressed that it wasn't dry. The Halal Guys is a decent fast casual Middle Eastern restaurant. If you're looking for a no frills straight forward Mediterranean meal this is your plaace. I just personally think there are better places to patron in Chicago for this cuisine.

Yelp
I've driven past this place probably a million times now and I've never tried it until today. Let me just say it was AMAZING from the very first bite. Me and my boyfriend both got the regular bowls: I got the beef gyro bowl and my bf got the combo (chicken & beef gyro) bowl. They were not stingy when it came down to servings. I barely finished my bowl so next time I will get a small size. Let me start with the meat. Whenever I eat this type of food, the #1 disappointing factor for me is dry meat. Their beef was the exact opposite. Not an ounce of dryness in my bowl. Just soft, tender, flavorful beef. All components of the bowl mixed perfectly with each other and all the flavors were so good. We also got a side of falafel, which was good but not great. You get to add green peppers, onions, and then your sauces. The white sauce was immaculate and I wish they put more in my bowl. I got a little bit of the hot sauce and that stuff had a nice kick to it! I love my food spicy.
google avatar

Bryan O.

Yelp
I like the platter that they have and they have alot of flavor and hardly no people at all. They are making sure that their orders that they have they always make sure it is yours or not.
google avatar

Yelp
5 stars for wonderful service! We frequently order take out, about once a month. My husband typically does the ordering but when I walked in alone for some takeout, I had no idea what to order! The employee (forgot to get his name) was super nice in assisting me helping me to order. I even signed him for membership! I still remember driving past the long lines on North Avenue location when Halal Guys first opened in Chicago. So glad we have one in the burbs without long lines! Love the combo meat take out- we get sauce on the sides; comes with 2 white sauce and 1 red sauce. Getting onion and green peppers is a nice compliment to the meat and rice. We were able to redeem a free meal for birthday reward. So glad I signed up!

Yelp
I've been a big fan of Halal Guys since they opened up stores in California in 2014. I've always found their prices to be pretty reasonable and their platters always fill me up. I LOVE spicy, and their hot sauce is pretty spicy... I will tell you that. I think it actually used to be even spicier, because when I got my Halal Guys platter last night, it felt like they toned down the spiciness slightly. Either way, I love their food. The gyro meat is not gonna be your highest quality meat, so I'm not sure why people expect the finest quality meat at a fast food chain, but with all the combination of flavors from the infamous white sauce to the hot red sauce and adding tomatoes, lettuce, onions, etc, it makes for a really bomb and "cheap" plate. I always go for the large plate, but they offer a smaller plate for those who can't eat as much. They recently started charging for the red sauce packets, but it used to be free which sucks! Anyways, my personal experience here was fine, and the food pretty much tastes the same as it did in CA when I used to order from here more often. I wish they'd put a Halal Guys in the Lakeview/Wrigleyville area!

J M.

Yelp
They've cut the portion size of the platter literally in half and charge more for it at the same time. Like... just close the restaurant if it's not working out. Why are you ripping people off instead?
google avatar

Sam N.

Yelp
I was here briefly yesterday before I visit florida for the long weekend. I know it's a chain but this place was spotless and immaculate. We cant eat it inside but I love shwarma a d I'd never been to this location before...I had them mix the pulled chicken dish with the shwarma beef that normally goes in a laffa. Sometimes I dont eat lots of bread and so i asked them to combine the plate with onions and some random salad items. It tasted very good. The tahini was very fresh. Even though they called it white sauce I knew what they were talking about :)

Yelp
Been here a couple of times and have gotten a regular platter. Definitely enough food for 1.5 meals depending on your appetite. It comes with 2 cups of rice, lettuce, tomatoes, choice of gyros, chicken, combination or falafels (5 in a regular size), green peppers and pita bread. Their secret white sauce is what makes the meal. Some go overboard with the sauce but it is good. Also their spicy sauce is spicy and I can tolerate spicy food well. Service is fast and food seemed to be fresh. Falafel this time seemed a little dry or could of been an older batch. Also, person today was new/trainee so the platter wasn't as full as normal. Always plenty of seating here and not as crowded as other locations. I personally think the price is a little bit too much for the quality. Still good quality, but not amazing. Management has always been nice here. Will try the wrap/sandwich option next time.

Daniela V.

Yelp
Food is great. But customer service was terrible. They were rude to my mom for no reason. She was reading an order from her phone and gave her attitude the whole time. She doesn't ever go there and now it will be the last time we do go there. There was no reason for the guy to be rude to her at all.
google avatar

Mary D.

Yelp
We went here last night and we really appreciated how good the service was! The guy who helped us was really nice and efficient and gave us really good portions. The food was pretty good, it's nothing special, but it's a affordable and filling dinner option. I enjoyed my falafel bowl and the fries were really crispy and good. I would go there again next time we are shopping in the Lincolnwood area.
google avatar

Nhu N.

Yelp
If you're seeking the flavor of the NYC carts.. You'll find yourself left wanting more. The prices have gone up and the portions have gotten smaller since they first opened. As some have mentioned, the spice packets are not as spicy as they used to be.
google avatar

Anna R.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the meat quantity on the sandwich and it was well done. I should have asked for tzasiki sauce on the side as they either put too much or too little & I asked for sauce for flavor. It was sparse. Maybe having the sauce on the side where I could control the amount would have been a better request. Overall a good lunch experience. Bathrooms were clean. A good place for a quick lunch.
google avatar

Sigmund K.

Yelp
My wife and I have been here several times and there's nothing we can actually complain about. Service has always been fast and efficient and the food always hits the spot. We always go for the regular-sized combo platter and sometimes it's enough for two meals. Honestly love the food here!
google avatar

Virag P.

Yelp
Staff and management are useless, they will not care about complaints or service, insane what this place has become from waiting in hours in line at their actual cart back in the day.
google avatar

WindyCity X.

Yelp
I was craving some chicken shawarma on my way to Lincolnwood Illinois but unfortunately did not see anything on the road that I was on except for this place. Now granted, I've been real particular about Middle Eastern staple foods like shawarma, but most places in and around Chicago make a great shawarma, but do not expect anything like "chicken shawarma" or any other traditional dish from here. If Taco Bell were to produce their spin on a Middle Eastern dish, I imagine it would be something like this, but It's set up like Chipotle where everything is à la carte. And as soon as I got to the counter, the server who is making the dishes said "lettuce and tomato?" I looked at the bar and sure enough, shredded lettuce and diced tomato as a base. I wasn't prepared, but I did get most of the general items. So how did it taste? Not bad. I haven't had fast food in over a year, and rarely eat any processed food, but I felt like I just ate a meal at Taco Bell. Did it taste good? it was ok, and its falls far in the fast food category to me. Was I served well? Yes, the people that work there were very courteous and nice, and willing to serve.
google avatar

Ryan L.

Yelp
Great fast service. Place is busy and packed sometimes but service is always fast with no hassle or problems! Great food, lowkey better than Pita Inn!
google avatar

Stephen H.

Yelp
First time trying after hearing about them for years. Beef and Chicken combo was huge and very flavorful. Will be back!
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
I got the chicken/gyro regular combo plate and the fries. The fries were fresh out of the fryer. The gyro meat and chicken were delicious. The hot sauce was so spicy. I got the jalapeños, olives, and green pepper. I like how the jalapeño wasn't too spicy since the hot sauce was spicy. The portion was huge. I couldn't finish it. Maybe that's because it had the fries. Lol. Anyways, great place!
google avatar

Yelp
I'll start off by saying that I'm biased towards really liking "The Halal Guys." When I first went to New York, I heard of this awesome food stand with amazing food. I stood in line in 30-degree weather for 1 hour to get a plate of steaming hot meat, rice, and special "white sauce." It was so good, we went back the next day! One year later, The Halal Guys began to open their "brick and mortar" shops in other states. This is the third state other than New York I've had their food. I have to say, this location does a pretty decent job. It's no New York food stand but any means, but it was pretty tasty and I was satisfied. The key is to order EXTRA white sauce! VERY important. Really, when I order, there's a blanket of sauce over the entire dish. Might be too much for some, but that's how I do it! I get the combination plate, but I think I prefer the chicken part of it. Spicy sauce is really spicy so, be warned if you're not used to it.
google avatar

Jane V.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to eating here as I've eaten from their truck in Times Square in New York city. It is not as good. The menu is very limited. The staff was not friendly or helpful even though it was empty when we were there. We ordered the gyro and chicken platter. The gyro meat was very dry and overcooked. The chicken was good though, moist and tasty. However, the employee poured white sauce on my plate so that it overpowered the taste of everything else. If we ever go back I would only order the chicken.
google avatar

Timothy N.

Yelp
Their food is the Chipotle of middle eastern food. Build your our dish for full customization. Their hot sauce is legit spicy. They put enjoy for you to feel the kick but not too much to scar you. Be careful when asking for more hot sauce. Their food is simply straight forward. Nothing too distinctive compare to other places, but easily accessible for a lot of people tastebuds. The flavors are not overbearing. An easy place to start tasting middle eastern food.

Cindy F.

Yelp
Halal guys what gives on your hot sauce? It used to be super spicy and now it barely registers on the Scoville scale. Overall the food was okay, I was just disappointed with the hot sauce which is the main reason I get food from here. Between the price increase and the lack of spice in the sauce, I am not sure I would go out of my way to get the combo platter from here again.

Bree T.

Yelp
Service was ok- Food portion ok But the food has no flavor Ordered one of their chicken bowls.

Jacob J.

Yelp
My first taste came soon after the hype died down. Two friends expressed being floored with their flavors. That's kinda how they put it to me. They went on and on about the everything plate and how to get the most out of it by using a melody of the two sauces. (Sauces by the way that are created with soybean oil. I mention this because lots of Americans suffer from soybean allergies. Like me, yay!) Suffice it to say, I couldn't go topping my whole plate in sauces. But for the sake of tasting I went for it and... Not crazy about it. Not full of the kinds of taste or flavor I was hoping for that you'd get at any regular Mediterranean or Middle Eastern restaurant. I also sampled their shawarma sandwich which again was a mere okay. I suppose if this food were a fit for me, it'd be a great option. Mainly because the meats and veggies are fresh and the price is right. My friends shared they like the everything plate because they can squeeze two meals out of it. Buy an extra pita or two and make a few "sandwiches". Price wise, a-okay. Taste wise I'll stick to the ethnic joints or leave my NYC bookmark intact. Reports say that the real deal in New York has far more flavor..

Yelp
Looking for a restaurant on Memorial Day (MD) I am finding many of the restaurants closed. Gee what a surprise. I wanted to try Grill & Garden another Mediteranean place that I bookmarked at 4 1/2 stars, but much to my dismay they were closed for MD. I went into my trusty bookmarks & found a Jamaican Jerk Chicken place about 2 miles away in Evanston that is also rated 4 1/2 stars, but this time I called first. The phone rang and they hung up. I tried twice more with the same result. I figured they must be busy so I decided to take a chance and drive there. I pulled up in front and there were 2 guys working inside, but all the chairs were put up. I asked the obvious question OH are you closed? That's when they informed me that the former owners closed up shop & went out of business and were trying to get it ready for a new tenant. WTF 0-2. One more strike and I'm out. At this point I was so hungry trying to find someplace anyplace open that wasn't going to break the bank. I drove by several places that didn't really draw my interest. I figured Touhy Avenue has a number of restaurants. I pulled over stopped and did a quick check of a few places, but I really didn't have a taste for the type of foods they served or they were closed for MD. Finally I saw Five Guys by Touhy and McCormick and thought about going there, but after having A rib eye last night I was thinking about my digestive system. I didn't think my heart & arteries would have appreciated it. That's when I saw Halal Guys. Hmmm double bacon cheeseburger or Mediteranean food? I was really in a dilemma after all my original craving was for Mediteranean food & Halal Guys serves Mediteranean food or a big double juicy cheeseburger with bacon. After much deliberation I decided to go the healthier route & went to Halal Guys. I ordered the chicken shawarma (pretty good very tender and moist) platter that came over rice w/an iceberg salad. The food was pretty good for a cookie cutter place, but I've had better at other restaurants.

Yelp
I know the halal guys brick & mortar locations are subpar compared to the original cart in New York. But this was disgusting. I have eaten a lot of chicken and rice, shawarma, gyro plates etc... and this was on of the most disgusting meals I have eaten. I usually LOVE this type of food. The gyro meat was cold. At one point I thought one of my braces brackets came off and I was chewing on that.. that's how old it was. The chicken looked suspect af. It was basically rubber with zero flavor. They can at least try to make it LOOK edible. Don't come here.

Yelp
In a nutshell, the eats didn't taste as good as they did off the food truck in NYC at 1am... ... but it was still a great valued meal that was tasty! I bookmarked these guys earlier this summer, and our group of friends wandered in for lunch after bailing on the Jollibee line (side note: a 2-3 hour quoted wait for fast food??). The wait at Halal on a Saturday just before 1pm was 2.3 nanoseconds. Menu is simple: you choose a pita sandwich or platter, and for protein, you have your choice of chicken, gyros, or falafel. I got the small combo (chicken and gyros) platter for $7.99, and it lasted me for 3 meals. With the meat, you get lettuce, tomatoes, rice, and 4 wedges of pita (Naf Naf's pita is still superior). For a dollar more, you get almost double the food. The pieces de resistance are the white and/or hot sauces. Expert tip: ask for it on the side, unless you want your whole platter doused in sauce. Bonus expert tip: you might not want to know all the additives that are in the white sauce. A few different sides like fries, hummus, and baba ghanouj are offered, and your one option for dessert is baklava. Plentiful seating inside.

Yelp
Best tasting chicken. Succulent flavors for fast food. Generous portions. Different vibe.

Yelp
When my friend told me that The Halal Guys was coming to Skokie I was so excited! I've been to New York a few times and I would always make a stop to get the chicken and rice with white sauce! Since it's not in downtown there is a parking lot where you can park your car. When you walk into the store, you will see a similar layout to chipotle. The employees who worked there were all super friendly and nice. They didn't rush anyone when customers were thinking of what to order. I ordered the regular beef platter. The portion wasn't as big as I thought it would be. It didn't even fill to the top after adding the lettuce, tomatoes, and the bread. My bf got the combo platter and his bowl looked kind of sad. For the sauces I added the white sauce and their hot sauce. They rang up the total for my order and it was about $10. While we were eating, the employee would come over with the hot and white sauce to see if any customers would like more. That was pretty nice and reminds me of Chick Fil A when their employees would go around asking customers if they wanted more drinks or anything. Cookie points to him! I would have to say that I don't think this was worth $10. At least I tried it out to see if it was any good in Chicago. The taste of the chicken and beef wasn't really there. Could have put more seasoning, I'm not sure. This place got me hyped up too fast and is overrated. Would I come again? Sure, why not, but it's not my top choice.

Yelp
Went to Rodgers Park location. I spent $25 and was given chicken that felt like Jerky and over seasoned. The rice was not fresh hard and chewy.

Yelp
The Falafel platter does not disappoint!! I eat here 2-3 times a week and I'm still not over it.

Yelp
I usually get the combo deal: 2 meats, rice, and veggies about $10. A bit pricey since it's in a to go container even when dining in. Food was fresh; the white sauce added flavor to my meal. My exeperience here was just ok; I would only go back here if I was in the neighborhood. (My favorite Mediterranean chain in Chicago is Pita Inn.) Located in a plaza which shares a parking lot with M Burger, Walmart, Jollibee, etc.

Yelp
After having Halal Guys at several locations (NYC, NJ, two Chicago locations) I feel this is the best all around. You have good seating. Fountain Drinks!! Alway a plus. Great service. And all-around the closest Halal guys to the original I have had. It is a very tough feat to challenge the original but this is by far the best/closest you can get to NYC. The major difference of the food I think is the whole food cart experience. The food marinates in its own juices as you wait on the NYC street corner. This location does a great job having the food hot and prepped and ready for service. All in all fantastic location with by far superior service. Great job. I'll be back soon. FYI: I traveled 3hrs one way for this. Total worth the trip.
