We popped in on a Wednesday night, and since it was slow, we were seated immediately. Note: They card at the door, so be sure to have your ID. For appetizers, we chose the chicken fingers and Brussels sprouts, along with the Black & Blue sandwich. The chicken tenders were huge, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. The Brussels sprouts, however, were blackened but not crispy as expected. The Black & Blue sandwich was a solid choice, but the fries were disappointingly soggy. Don't forget to check out the happy hour specials! Heads-up for soda lovers: If you’re a Coke fan, they only serve Pepsi. This place is great for groups and offers free parking for diners. Plus, it’s a great spot to support local college students working their way through school.

Let’s Talk Food – College Visit Edition! What a day, y’all! We visited our son at college, and he introduced us to this descent spot. First up, parking—smooth sailing today, which already set the tone for a stress-free experience. Love that! Our squad of four had about a 20-minute wait, but honestly, it flew by with the vibe of the place keeping us entertained. Once we were seated, our server came through like a pro—friendly, attentive, and knew the menu like the back of her hand. The food? Okay, it took a bit longer than expected, but when it arrived, wow, did it deliver! Every dish was on point—hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. We couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. All in all, it was a day full of laughs, good food, and great company.

Attended a successful and fun event at the Hall. The event was hosted in a large room with separate bar, entrance and the stage in place. Atmosphere was decorated properly for the holiday and open concept. With optional outdoor seatings available. If I remembered it correctly, the maximum indoor capacity is 250 people. For this particular event space. If you have more than 200 guess the outdoor space will be opened up for additional rooms. Our food and drinks were catered from the hall . For the drinks, they were very accommodating. For our open bar, we had options of everything you can think of , including from wine, whiskey, tequila, sparkling wine, beer, and more . Our catered food included steak, ham, deviled eggs, chicken, salmon roll, vegan options and many delicious desserts. Staff at the hall were super friendly, considerate and helpful. Many are students of University of Maryland. We should definitely support them and be kind when visiting. Props to the hardworking kitchen staff. They worked so hard and made our experience very memorable. Thank you 🙏 Highly recommend by @WineDinenVacay

For a place in the middle of a large, unassuming parking lot, the food here was actually pretty amazing. We went for brunch and we were all satisfied with our orders. The bottomless mimosas were $24 ($9 per glass if you order separately). The chicken and waffle + giant bag of fries were a hit with our table. Highly recommend getting that combo. Definitely worth checking out — a nice place to enjoy brunch and have a long conversation with friends. Their outdoor seating area also looked cute, it was just way too hot to sit outside.

On a crowded Friday night when basketball season has begun, this team has it figured out! Great management, great food and the best atmosphere you could ask for! Looking forward to the day our littles are on campus so we can enjoy more sweet sweet moments here!

Really great food, drinks, and ambiance! You can even bring your furbaby and eat outside. The menu was full of interesting and delicious dishes.. the only thing that surprised me was the bill which was almost $100. Don't know why I thought in a restaurant on a college campus would be a little less expensive. Their tip suggestion at the bottom of the bill for their servers is off by at least $10. Who only tips just 1%or 2%? Tip them well (10% to 22%) if they give you good service! Nonetheless, we enjoyed our food...and yes, we tipped well! Will go back and will bring the furbaby next time!

I cant believe this is right on campus! I wish this was here when I lived across the street! Best deal is the HUGE bucket of fries but the burger and the frozen drinks were delicious. Super chill, great place to hang out. GO TERPS!

Tucked away near The Hotel this place came recommended and a good spot for pizza. Sat at the bar and was immediately helped and given a menu. Ordered the triple hot pepperoni pizza and a happy hour drink. The food was great, really enjoyed the pizza but I do have one major gripe. So for the happy hour you can make your own 2 topping pizza for $10 but can't get any of the menu pizzas for that price. However, I saw 3 people come up to the bar and order a pizza off the menu but say they wanted it for the $10 pizza deal and each time they were charged the $10 special whereas I payed full price ($17) for my pizza. Just feels like some staff are more willing to bend the rules than others. That aside the food was good and it seems like a cool place to go, especially in nicer weather where you could make use of their abundant outdoor space.

Yelp
I recently visited this location with colleagues after a few years, hoping to see some improvements. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. While I do enjoy coming here, it's more for the great drinks than the food. The food lacks flavor and creativity, which is disappointing. However, the environment and ambiance are fantastic, making it a great spot for meeting up with friends and family. I would certainly return and recommend it for the atmosphere alone, but I feel the restaurant could benefit from offering an additional menu--something more elevated or at a higher price point, catering to those looking for more flavorful and inventive dishes.

Yelp
Great option for wedding rehearsal dinners and large gatherings. Came here for a wedding rehearsal dinner because we had a big wedding party and the prices were decent, the place was close to the wedding venue, and the restaurant could accommodate over 20 people. There is lots of space here and they had a sectioned off area for the wedding party to have a quick dinner on a Friday night. The service was reasonable given all the orders and the beer was great. Overall, a great option if you are getting married or have a big event in the area and need to have a large space for lunch or dinner at reasonable prices.

Yelp
From beginning to end... We arrived, there was a short wait despite the line. The person checking us in was respectful, patient and professional.GOOD START. We are seated at our table. It's not the cleanest table, it was like they pushed all the crumbs to one side of the table and said..."good enough". The waitress comes, she's nice enough. But really couldn't tell us what is good...you know really good and popular on the menu. Uh oh. We order, they say they've been busy all day and the kitchen is backed up, fair enough. We waited for our food longer than expected but it wasn't too long. Food here. Yay! The food...my daughter has chicken fingers and fries. She liked it, I tasted it, it was good. The Monte Cristo Burrito...mediocre at best. Don't waste your money on it. Also we asked for hot sauce and the waitress brought us an empty bottle and said, "this is all we have left". My thought is she'll find another bottle when someone is done but that never happened. Oh yeah and the drinks on the menu they didn't have them all, I'm okay with that it happens. Overall this place is a 2.5, but I'm going by to give them a three because it wasn't all bad.

Yelp
Parking is good. A lot of seating. Staff seemed friendly. Triple pepperoni hot honey pizza- 9/10. Could've been a better sauce to cheese ratio, but the hot honey and quantity of pepperoni was divine Fries: 7/10. They had a good crisp, and were cooked well, but could use more seasoning. Seemed like frozen grocery fries that were just deep fried Bulgogi bowl- my friend seemed to like it, but there wasn't a good protein to rice ratio Daiquiri- very good, had a good consistency even down to the bottom 8.5/10 Lemonade- you can definitely taste that it's homemade, it doesn't taste fountain. 9.5/10. I wish they put some ice in it, as it was hot outside and it came out without it My friend got 2 virgin Moscow mules (ginger beer, lime, soda water) which were $10 each. She said it was delicious. We did get a fair bit of food, but in terms of value, I spent $120, which doesn't give me vibes that this would be a good lunch spot, where you're usually looking to get something more affordable midday.

Yelp
It's been at least 4 years since I've been back to College Park. I've heard great things about the Hall CP so I was excited to finally visit for an alumni happy hour during homecoming weekend. I loved that there was free parking available for patrons. The menu had a great variety of options and the amount of space and seating inside was ample. I opted for an appetizer because I wasn't too hungry but I know I needed to eat before drinking. The Brussel sprouts were very good. I also sampled my friend's street cauliflower and that was good too. The drink menu also had many great options but we both settled on hibiscus margaritas which was very refreshing and strong. Looking forward to going back soon.

Yelp
Hey friends! I found the perfect summer spot with strong drinks, a beautiful outdoor seating and music. I've been eyeing this place for a while but I was skeptical because it's in a college town & I didn't want to be around annoying college kids lol. But I was pleasantly surprised to see a diverse crowd of all ages. There's plenty paid parking at $3/hour. There's no free parking at all, so make sure to budget for that. I recommend sitting outdoors, the patio is really nice with a tennis court, the perfect lighting, a swing and wall art. Service was amazing. The hostess was super sweet, we had a nice convo while I waited for my table. Our server was amazing, I'm sad that I didn't get his name, I would definitely request him again. He was attentive, friendly and made some great suggestions. He was also patient with us after we had a couple drinks lol! The food was good, nothing exceptional. I had the mushroom ravioli. As a vegetarian, I was super excited for this dish but not very impressed. It was flavorful and the texture was nice, but unfortunately it is dry. A sauce such as Alfredo would compliment this dish well. My buddies enjoyed their Bulgogi bowl and Margherita pizza. The drinks were amazing! I ordered a Long Island but received a Strong Island lol! I definitely recommend The Hall CP for your summertime hang out! Make sure to check out their happy hour from 4pm-7pm on Wednesdays- Fridays. Have fun and be safe!

Yelp
This college town restaurant is amazing. The food comes out quick, hot, fresh and delicious. The happy hour here is even better with discounted drinks and appetizer. If you make it here make sure to say hi to Carl. He is a quick, charismatic, efficient, bartender that makes amazing drinks. This our go to spot for a quick Friday night out.

Yelp
Being in The Hall CP reminded me of my college days. Given the ambiance, I think it would be a great location to work remotely. Food was good, no complaints. The only wow factor was the French fries with the old bay seasoning. The service was cool. The food was a little slow in coming out but once the server went to check on it, it came out within minutes.

Chelley S.

Yelp
They continue to win in my book. This is a large diner-ish space for college students and 30 somethings. However, I don't feel out of place when I go with the younger adults in my family. Their wings and nachos are simply unmatched! The service is iffy, because there are always too few people working for that large space. I give them a pass cause the chef is great... look at this beautiful plate of nachos!

Megan M.

Yelp
Cute place. Loved the large inside and outside seating. Felt like a brewery but was a restaurant. They have LOTS of fun drinks, and at a reasonable price too. I got their hot honey pepperoni pizza and it was very good. Soooo filling though. I was stuffed about halfway through. As mentioned, the layout of the place is what I really loved. There was lots of seating, very open, and even a few pickle ball courts, which was fun. They also have a expansive menu, so if you're with a group, I think it would be easy to 1. Get a table and 2. Make sure there is something everyone likes on the menu. They really have a little bit of everything.

Yelp
This location is definitely worth trying to the moment I walked in the host was very welcoming. I came at a late brunch transitioning to lunch. As a starter I had the Cesar Sumer Roll paired with a crunch mozzarella. I was looking for some fresh, so the Cesar summer roll was perfect choice. It's exactly what you think it is a side chicken salad in a rice wrap. I do wish it came with a little more. I enjoyed the mozzarella sticks it was definitely approved with a cheese pull. As a main dish I decided to have a short rib taco that came with rice an beans with cheese on top. I love me a little kick so my hot sauce on top made it! Tacos definitely were not dry or plain, and food came out very quickly. Love that! To finish everything off I tried the banana bread pudding that came out nice and hot and had a chocolate crunch around the border of the plate which was amazing. I loved the textures together with the crunch and hot soft banana bread. I must say I tend to be a needy customer and I did not feel rushed or a bother to my server Abby ! She was completely understanding and patient with my needs and overall very attentive. Thank you for Abby and the rest of the staff for the experience! All of the employees down to the runners!

Grace K.

Yelp
The food here was delicious! I went here with my family and we enjoyed everything we ordered. Especially the chicken and waffle. This is a treat. So much that I took a friend there for her birthday. She loved the chicken and waffle and ordered another one to go for her daughter. I had the kale street salad that was delicious! Our server was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place though it's recommended you make reservation for evening.

Yelp
I finally decided to make a trip to The Hall CP, definitely a lot different from what I thought. We walked in expecting to see a lot of eateries to choose from but instead was met with a hostess, ready to seat us and I was like, "oh, well okay then!" The Hall was a perfect spot to try because the weather was nice out and the aesthetics and open space has a nice vibe for Sunday brunch. The Hall is located across from UMD, so expect a lot of college students and even the staff looked pretty young. Our waitress was helpful and our food came pretty quickly. We ordered the Chicken and Waffles, playing it safe but pretty much got played :-) I have to remember that some establishments prefer Chicken Tenders instead. I am not a fan of tenders but it was fried pretty good and juicy! I would not order again but I enjoyed it in the moment. We also tried out the burger, fries and traditional buffalo wings. The burger and fries weren't anything spectacular but edible. The buffalo wings had soo much potential but I needed an extra kick to satisfy my palate. I would like to try out the dinner menu and chill at the bar ;-) so I will definitely be returning soon!

Yelp
This place is huge and goes on forever with the amount of seating and space that they have indoor and outdoor. Decor is simple yet inviting, there was a spot outside the outdoor seating area where they had swinging benches and it was nice but there was also trash everywhere from what seemed like from the night before as the it was full and we had arrived an hour after opening. The wait time for our food took so long that I started to get full on my water. The server we had was nice but seemed flustered as she forgot most of our order and had to be reminded on several things, I had also asked about what flavor teas they had she said she would bring it out to show me which was fine but instead brought me a hot cup with all the tea bags. I wasn't even sure that I wanted tea but at that point took the cup and chose a flavor she didn't give me any sweetener or anything to go with it so that was disappointing as well. My brother got the endless mimosa and it last for an hour but he was only able to get two different size cups cause of the lack of times she even came to check on us. Also when we tried to order several things most items were not even available. Now the food we got was pretty good and I hope it's not cause we waited so long that anything could have been good at that point but genuinely everything was tasty I will say though the "s'mores pancakes" nothing s'mores about it, if you see the picture it legit has a few chocolate chips with not even more than three crumbles of graham crackers there was no marshmallow like it had indicated on the menu and it wasn't filled with anything either just overpriced pancakes with not even a child hand size of "toppings". The star though was the French toast for sure, great flavor, good amount to share of feel satisfied alone. I wanted to really love this place but maybe I caught it on a wrong day. Would I try again ? Absolutely just might get it to go or try on a non holiday week

Robert W.

Yelp
3.5 Overall Ambiance isn't bad at all. The service is on point and the music selection is even quality too. They play something for everyone, and even have the Sports games on at the bar. What this place lacks in comfort and warmth, they make up for it with an interesting hipster vibe. This venue was definitely created with the college crowd in mind. This being located right dab smack in the middle of a college town offers plenty of room for large venues and plenty of parking. In addition, it's ideal for a change of pace brunch or meet up for a drink. I recommend this spot for a tinder/blk date. Last but not least the bartender did make a solid old fashioned too for the whiskey lovers.

Yelp
We live nearby and have probably been here two dozen times since they opened several years ago. Food has been consistently good every time we have been. There is a huge array of options so everyone is always happy with what they get. Our go to is often the honey pepperoni pizza which is delicious. They have a wood fired pizza oven and recently started $10 Monday night pizzas. Their Philly cheesesteak, chicken sandwich and vegan salad are all terrific. We almost always get the big bag o fries to start and it's huge! There is also a seasonal part of the menu that changes. They have a nice weekend brunch too! There's a full bar with lots of drink options but not a ton of non alcohol drinks which they said they're working on. I personally don't drink but love having a zero proof cocktail or non alcoholic beer so I hope they bring these in. Service is generally pretty good. That said, because it's right at UMD, the staff is almost always college kids, so we have had some times where things were forgotten or slow, but they're always really nice. It can get crowded at times depending on what's going on around campus and whether school is in session. There is a huge outdoor patio and they have added a lot to it over the past few years to make it feel a little more "beachy" outside. I think they have live music sometimes although we haven't been there for that. I talked to the manager last time I was there and he said he's working to add more theme nights and variety to bring in more of the locals. This is definitely not just a "college" restaurant. We love having this nearby, food is great, prices are reasonable and it's worth checking out if you live in the area. *Not getting paid for this loooong review lol, but this is a mom and pop place that I would love to see be able to compete with the chains and stay in business in College Park!

Tosin O.

Yelp
This place was pretty packed for a weekday night in my opinion but the service was pretty decent. Our servers name was Mervin. He was nice and I loved his voice. We had a pretty large party and he definitely made sure the people seated toward the back could hear him! The food was so good, I love pizza and I can't believe I'm just finding out about this place. I got the old bay honey hot wings which I ate so fast I did not remember to get a pic :-( and the carnivore pizza. The wings came out with a zesty sauce , not blue cheese or ranch but something in between and it was very good. I meant to ask the waiter what is was but I forgot. Did I mention I love Pizza!! and after a 3 mile run the pizza was screaming my name. The pizza was hot, fresh and delicious. It was reallyyyyy good, I honestly could not believe how good it actually was. I planned on eating only one slice however the pizza that was brought out to the table determined that was a lie. My only issue was the drinks. My margarita was meh. It had way too much lime juice. I will definitely give them another try because the pizza is just to good for the drinks to not follow suit. There was a live jazz band and plenty of tables. This spot is definitely good for groups and the family. I will be back for more pizza!!!

Martin T.

Yelp
What a fun setting. Server was phenomenal. Marilyn. Ask for her. The food was just fine as well.

James M.

Yelp
The food and service were great. I can't give 5 stars for ambience because we sat outside and the weather was fantastic. If i could give them credit for the weather I would. Our server Emma was prompt, courteous and knew the menu.

Monica K.

Yelp
The pros: wide variety of drink and food choices. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Attentive waitstaff. Decent happy hour specials (like $5 rail drinks). Plenty of parking. The cons: not sure if our waitress was newer, but she didn't have the most knowledge about the drinks being offered. Overall, great place to socialize that is close to the UMD campus!

Nathan S.

Yelp
Super casual, affordable, and they allow dogs under 200lbs . Nice place to watch a game or catch up with friends.

Sandy L.

Yelp
Beautiful & huge space and the food we got was all delicious! I got the Philly cheese steak and shared it with the burger and cauliflower appetizer my hubby got.

Quinton M.

Yelp
The Hall CP was everything I had hoped for. Excellent service and very good food. Atmosphere was great.

Ileana S.

Yelp
Great vibe and energy along with prompt service and friendly staff. The food was excellent and plated beautifully (not the usual college town restaurant). The scallops tostada is a must and the Chesapeake Catfish dish was excellent - the rosemary cheddar grits were some of the best I've ever had. The Street Cauliflower was also delicious.

Maya D.

Yelp
Just wanted to add more reviews of food. Shootout to my twin Maya! She's fantastic at The Hall. Big Sunken Burrito was very tasty and filling! Not much to say but seasoned well, packed with a great assortment of ingredients. Chicken and waffles this time was a little cold and so was soft. Not as good as last time, but I guess I could've just asked them to heat them up. I just didn't feel like it because my server, can't remember her name, disappeared after us getting our food and I didn't come back until towards the end of the meal. I do have to say I've never been a fan with that type of maple bacon syrup with those waffles. It doesn't fit. I can't put my finger on what type of syrup would be better, but I would suggest getting a syrup that would compliment that type of waffle. Also, the chicken tenders lack salt. I definitely don't like a lot of salt but it's like it doesn't even exist in the chicken tenders. I mix the chipotle mayo and honey mustard for the chicken tenders. Steak and cheese egg rolls are consistently fire! Breakfast wrap had the perfect set of ingredients tucked into a wrap. It was small but better than I expected! I would definitely get it again. It came with potatoes that were good but a little hard.

Robert M.

Yelp
Good service lively atmosphere, college hangout but older folks too. Very busy early evenings

Yelp
Attended a private Yelp event here a few weeks ago (sorry for the late review) and enjoyed it. Great, easy to find location with easy, ample parking -- although there could be more lighting in the lot. There was a designated door for entrance, however I entered through the main door so that I could get a good flow of the restaurant. Upon entering was greeted by a "bouncer type" guy who asked if I was drinking tonight (possibly) and fitted me with a wristband. Now, I am thinking because of the close proximity to the university, the wristband keeps things safe. The bar area is huge! Plenty of tv's to watch sports and plenty of tables with good spacing between. A definite sports bar vibe. Food. There were several choices offered by the event host, many I would have never chosen if dining alone, but ALL were delicious! -Tuna Wontons (a great mix of flavors with the soy caramel and cilantro), -Octopus Canape (definitely would not have ordered this- but this was the one I enjoyed the most. LOL), -Buffalo Bao Buns (eh..nothing exciting here, but good) -Avacodo Rolls (another great mix of flavors with sun dried tomatoes), -Chicken Taquitos (best I've had anywhere) Dessert. A gorgeous display of delectable, mouthwatering sweets!! Wow!! All were enjoyed by attendees. Event space. This is a large space with a lot of options. Definitely will keep this in mind for any events/meetings/receptions that I may need to plan in the future. I will note that the communal layout of the restrooms are nothing I have experienced -- I open area of multiple sinks/hand washing stations and (10 or so) private toilet stalls, each with the M/F sign on the door. So pick one, any one, close the door behind u, use it. Come out, and wash your hands...possible beside anyone.... Overall this is a GREAT place to socialize, eat, and host an event! Looking forward to visiting again in nice weather to experience the outdoor seating.

Yelp
Owner/GM Misha Simon was contacted by me and a full refund was granted. That's worth some points in my book!

Gloria N.

Yelp
Got to try the grilled chicken sandwich during the brunch hours. The chicken in the grilled chicken sandwich was nice and juicy with the bread perfectly toasted. The toppings complimented the sandwich very well and didn't feel too heavy of a sandwich. Service was pretty good as it was very busy but our server checked up with us pretty often. The hall inside is pretty spacious but their outside seating is nice too and pretty well decorated. Outside seating is definitely a must once the weather gets warmer!

Keisha H.

Yelp
I've been here for a Yelp event and on this occasion I came for the inaugural jazz festival. So this review is primarily limited to the jazz fest. There were a good lineup of bands that I was unfamiliar with that I thoroughly enjoyed. There was also plenty of seating out on the lawn/patio area so there really wasn't a bad seat in the house. I only ordered some fries and had the house lemonade, so I can't speak too much on the food, however I wasn't overly impressed by the fries. There was pickle ball set up and other little activities for the young ones so it was a good time for the entire family. I hope they continue to have the jazz fest every year! Cheers!

Deborah N.

Yelp
Great! Went there for a multiple birthday dinner. Do not be put off by the casual, bar atmosphere or the abundance of student age looking people here. I promise you, there are plenty of older adults here as well

Melvin B.

Yelp
Drink and munchies menu is the first picture. A group decided to do happy hour here so I came early. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They also have two bars. The first bar handles those that sit at it and people sitting outside. The menu shown has limited food option. While I wait for my group I ordered an Atlas Brewing Naptown Lager which is pictured. It is priced at $6 so not too bad. Ordered the charcuterie plate while waiting for folks. Here is a picture. It is not the boldest I have had nor most colorful. Appears to be something the cook could throw together. As you can see heavy on meats, limited chromas no fruit. So my people have arrived and I have to go. So I'm going to give them 3.5 stars.

Yelp
The Hall CP is one of our best finds in the area. I thought it might have too much of a college vibe (those days are long behind me) but the indoor / outdoor space was friendly to all ages. We were there on a very busy day due to graduation but even with that, the wait wasn't long and there's plenty of seats to wait on. The burger was extremely flavorful and held together nicely on the bun. Drinks refreshing. Kalua bao buns and the mac salad lacked flavor compared to the rest of our order, but there's so many options on the menu we'll be back to try something new. Dog friendly outside! Easy parking. And plenty of Pickle Ball courts to pass the time waiting for your meal if that's your thing!

Yelp
The Hall CP looked to be a popular spot to go before UMD games, so I decided to check it out before the basketball game on a Sunday afternoon. We made reservations, but we're told we had to wait beyond that time for our table once we arrived (about 10-15 minutes). After asking if we could wait by the bar they made it seem like it wasn't an option, which was odd, but maybe because it was busy. It does seem like a fun weekend brunch spot if you don't have somewhere to be. Service: Once we were finally seated at our table it was probably about 20 minutes before we saw a server, another very delay for the drinks. At that point we decided to just stick to ordering an appetizer (which were also taking forever to order and then to arrive) instead because we were an hour in and needed to get going to the game by the time we'd end up with food. Food/Drinks: We ordered a few different drinks, the sour beer was good but a bit flat. The Wake n Bake cocktail was very good, as well as the cheesesteak egg roll appetizer! It was hard to know what to order if you look at the Yelp and menus before going because many things aren't on the menu or maybe they didn't give us the lunch/dinner ones (only brunch? But it was around 1pm). Overall: The appetizer was fantastic, waitress was nice, and menu looks interesting. I'd be willing to give it another shot so I can actually order food next time, but overall the service time was so terrible, even for a game day (and we arrived a couple of hours before we planned to leave for the game).

Yelp
I came here for a private event but decided to patronize the bar until it started . The service was friendly and young and fun.. I sat near some awesome regulars who gave great praises to the establishment . The bathrooms are super dope and the decor as well....the drinks were amazing although the nevermore will turn ur fingers and mouth black just be careful but delicious nonetheless...the do have a small happy hour discount on rail and wine just ask.

Yelp
Came here for dinner while visiting my friend who lives in the area and was pleasantly surprised at how good this place was! I ordered the Maryland Crab Dip which was tasty. There was a bit too much Old Bay seasoning on the flatbread for my liking, but it was easy to scrape off. I also ordered the All green salad which was so yummy! I was a fan of the dressing and the quinoa and pumpkin seeds gave the salad a good texture. The Lavender Lemonade was alright. I think my expectations were too high since it looked so pretty, so it wasn't as tasty as I would've liked. Probably wouldn't order this one again.

Yelp
Starting off 2022 with the only restaurant I've been to so far. The Hall continues to be a spot I enjoy visiting just to sit at the bar (or outside) and hang out. They regularly change some cocktails and entrees to stay fresh and adhere to the seasons. Most recently, they have a scrumptious egg nog drink called The Nogg CP, which features homemade egg nog, spices and a few dark liquors such as Hennessy and Captain Morgan. There's also the The Hall Hooch which is served hot and tastes very much like the holidays... though I'd say it's a bit on the sweet side. As for food, the old chicken sandwich that was on the donut is out, and there's a chicken bucket now, that features 8 pieces of chicken, greens, mashed potatoes and a biscuit with honey butter. The chicken is much more seasoned than what I remember tasting on that old sandwich which is indeed a step in the right direction -- but some of the pieces were super small! The greens had a sweetness to them that I wasn't expecting, and I'd love to know why. Everything else was delicious, though I am used to my honey butter being a little sweeter. I will continue to go to The Hall, try new things as they come, and just enjoy the vibes. Still, I find myself seeing older folks there than students. And there's security at the door who checks IDs. No breaking the rules, kids! Happy New Year!

Yelp
Great service overall. We sat at the bar and ordered the honey old bay wings and they were a 10/10! We will probably return for just those, they were surprisingly seasoned well. For dinner we ordered the burger with fries and the crab cake with crab Mac. The fries had old bay seasoning, so extra points for them! The crab cake was good, but the crab mac was average. It lacked seasoning. Besides that, we will be back. At this point, we've gone like 6 times.

Yelp
I attended here for an afternoon brunch with some friends. I wasn't too thrilled about the list of brunch options at the time, so I decided to order something random, and went with the Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup. I asked for 1 egg instead of 2, but I guess the waitress misunderstood me because I ended up with 0 eggs. I didn't bother mentioning it, because everyone was ready to eat. Thankfully the food was really good. The sandwich was fork and knife style since it sat directly in the soup, which was super flavorful. I might have looked crazy eat hot soup while in the hot sun, but it was delicious and I don't regret it. However, what I DID regret was choosing to sit outside instead of inside. And not because of the soup lol. So there was about 10 of us, and the weather was surprising really nice for early November, which is why we chose to sit outside. Unfortunately, there was no umbrella or covering for the large size table in the middle. Only the smaller round tables had shade. So we pretty much melted from the sun. It's a pretty big outdoor space, so I was disappointed that there was no covering available. I hope in the future, they can acquire more shade for the every table, and not just the tiny ones. All in all it was not a bad experience. One of the staff members was even nice enough to take a group photo for us in front of the cool mural.

Yelp
Was in the area and hungry so I found myself here for carry out. The ambiance overall is really nice and chill. The area itself is well lit, spacious and, above all else, didn't smell. I could imagine during the summer this is a nice spot to grab a drink and/or something to eat. I believe they may have an outside space as well but in this weather it obviously wasn't open. We were greeted immediately when we came in and told where we could order carry out so we grabbed the menu and sat down to take a look. When we were asked by the bartender what we'd like to order I attempted to ask if they (the bartender) ever had the street dog (because I like to know what's good and what's not) and he seemed confused by my question, I asked again and he just nodded his head. It wasn't until another gentleman sitting on the patrons side of the bar, said "I think we have that in the back" (which should've been a red flag for me) that the bartender understood what I was saying. This is in no way a shot to that bartender but more so the owner/manager as a bartender should have more knowledge of the food and less of a communication barrier. I ordered the Street Dog which was topped with chili lime mayo, corn, Cotijia cheese and a tortilla crumble. I also ordered a side of fries. It seemed like street corn but with a hotdog so I figured it would be good? It was not. For starters it was cold, like very cold and the hotdog itself was served as a sandwich on ciabatta bread which made it horrible to bite into and impossible to get all of the flavors combined. You couldn't even remove one piece of bread and eat it that way because the ciabatta bread is so thick it doesn't bend easily. Besides the hot dog being cold it lacked flavor overall and the condiments tasted sour, almost rotten. I'm disappointed I didn't take a picture because I was eating in on my ride home and it was pitch black outside. They also came with some chips I guess? They didn't have any flavor, just tasted burnt. As for the fries, they were also cold and soggy. I ended up tossing the meal at the Wawa and grabbing a sandwich from there instead. I probably wouldn't come back willingly for the food but would be willing to try the drinks.

Yelp
Service: Good. I wouldn't complain about the service I received. I came in on a Tuesday before the dinner rush came in. I would highly recommend making a reservation! Drinks: The Butterfly Effect - Good. If you like lavender, lemonade, and tequila, then you will like this drink. You get the initial hit of tequila on the first sip then it mellows out. Puff the Magic Dragon Crush - Overly Floral. Imagine drinking a flower. This is how I felt the whole time drinking it. If you like a floral taste to your drink, this one is for you. Food: Pickle Brined Chicken Tenders - Best of the night! It did not taste of pickles. I think the naming convention would drive people away from this item but do not sleep on it. I would explain it like this: if you like Chick Fil A's chicken, you would like this too; they make it the same way. Triple pep and hot honey - Good but Soggy. They pizza was good. They honey made it sweeter which was nice to balance out the savory. My pie was burnt at the bottom but also soggy from the toppings. I would suggest asking for light sauce to avoid this issue. Shrimp Stir Fry - Oddly Sweet. I did not expect the sweet undertone of the dish. I would say that the sweetness had the reminiscent of tamarind, so it was slightly tangy/sour at the same time. Not something to expect from this. On to my next food adventure...

Yelp
Nice brunch event with entertainment. DJ was very entertaining. Best shrimp and grits I've ever had!! Definitely fixed Louisiana style with a nice spiciness. We went with the brunch buffet. Nice to get out with my gf and have some fun with good laughs. Laughter is good for the soul. The food did not disappoint! Plenty of parking available. There's a restaurant on the other side of the hall. Plenty of seating available in both the hall and the restaurant. The hall is also a nice place to hold an event. Nice change of scenery.

Yelp
I love this place. It is gorgeous on the inside and out. The burger was delicious. The service was great and the hostess was so nice. A great place to eat, hang out with friends or have a function.

Yelp
Food is always good- never had anything that was even "OK." They are consistent every time - even the service (which is not always great) is consistent, but the food options, quality, and atmosphere make up for it.

Yelp
I've gone to the hall about five times and each time has been underwhelming. The restaurant is pretty popular among college students but their food is always a let down. Besides their pizzas, everything is pretty flavorless. Their drinks are strong but expensive. If you go, I recommend sharing their brussel sprouts and a pizza.
