A Truly Exceptional Dining Experience at The Halyard Restaurant
From the moment my wife and I walked into The Halyard Restaurant, the staff was warm and accommodating. We were initially seated by the sound-facing window, but when we requested a more private setting, the hostess graciously led us to a stunning table in the grand room—partial booth seating, nestled beside a beautiful bookshelf, offering both intimacy and a great view.
The mezcal almond cocktail was an experience in itself—layered, complex, and expertly crafted. My wife enjoyed two glasses of red wine, which paired beautifully with our selections. We started with oysters, a beet salad, and scallops as the main course. Each dish was creative, thoughtfully prepared, and absolutely delicious. The oysters, in particular, stood out, served with a unique onion-vinegar sauce that was a revelation.
The ambiance was perfect for meaningful conversation, and we spent a good portion of the evening debating future baby names—Enzo, Theodore, Mickala, Lana, and Dayman are all in the running, god help us.
And then, dessert. If you take one piece of advice from this review: GET THE TOFFEE. It was phenomenal, especially paired with banana ice cream and chocolate gelato.
This was more than just a meal—it was an experience. Exceptional food, a refined yet comfortable atmosphere, and a staff that truly understands hospitality. We will absolutely be back.
