The Hampton Social Rose All Day Restaurant Is Opening at High Street in Dunwoody, Georgia | Eater Atlanta

"Leaning into the “rose all day” mantra, I see a 10,000-square-foot, two-floor restaurant and bar opening in 2024 at the emerging High Street development in Dunwoody along Perimeter Center Parkway and Hammond Drive that’s billed as a summery “nautical escape.” It features a coastal garden design vibe and a weathered color palette with chair swings, string lights, faux ivy, hanging plants, beachy decor, and a photo-ready wall of starfish and flowers; seating is a mix of tables and lounge areas inside plus a similar patio overlooking the central green space. The drinks menu centers on rosé—served by the glass, bottle, and in scalloped seashell bowlfuls—alongside spritzy cocktails and frozen drinks like frosé, and the food leans into that nautical pairing with seafood towers, oysters, and lobster rolls for lunch and dinner and brunch offerings such as monkey bread, bananas foster French toast, and crab cakes. As the first Hampton Social in Georgia, it’s positioned to become a “drink pink” beacon for Instagramming influencers seeking a photo op while sipping rosé from scalloped seashells with a bendy straw." - Beth McKibben

We had a party of 11 at The Hampton Social in Atlanta and everything was fantastic from start to finish! The service was absolutely top notch — friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed despite our large group. Highly recommend starting with the crab & shrimp bruschetta appetizer — it was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I had the fish and chips for my main, and it was excellent — perfectly crispy and the cod was super flaky. The atmosphere is such a fun, upscale beach-vibe setting that makes you feel like you’re on vacation right in the city. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

My dear friend, Tonya, and I had THE best experience at Hampton Social for an impromptu lunch. The atmosphere and decor are lovely! The food...chef's kiss! The service is STELLAR! KJ was our server and he was just amazing. We tried every one of his drink and food recommendations and loved it all. He also let us know about their live music and events on the green outside the restaurant. Landry and Tara on the management team made sure to introduce themselves and checked on us frequently. My first time visit today made me discover one of my new favorite Atlanta restaurants. We will be back at least monthly. Thank you!

Google
The Hampton Social is a really nice spot right next to Perimeter Mall. The vibe feels new and fresh, and the service was amazing with everyone being friendly and attentive. Parking is also super convenient since there’s plenty right nearby, which makes getting in and out easy. I had the steak and eggs with gouda cheese and it was cooked just right. We also tried the fried chicken and French toast special, along with the house potatoes and turkey sausage. Everything tasted really good and came out hot. Between the food, the service, and the location, I’d definitely come back.

Google
Four stars only because it is a little pricey. When I ordered my burger they asked if I wanted fries or a salad and I said fries. Then she said “Fries are $3.00 extra”. To which I looked at her for about 5 seconds and said that’s fine. Other than that the food is spot on. Great smash burger with fries and a larger than it looks location. Very nice atmosphere and decor and very clean bathrooms. All in all it’s a bit outside my price range but other than that I definitely recommend!

Hampton Social Inn Review The ambiance was nice, and the service was solid — shoutout to Landry, the general manager, who personally checked on our table. However, overall, the experience didn’t quite justify the price point. I’d recommend stopping by during happy hour rather than paying full price. Drinks: • Harbor Breeze and Mango Palmer – refreshing, but the Mango Palmer could’ve used a bit more sweetness. Food: • Monkey Bread and Homemade Tater Tots – both were tasty and hit the spot. • Pepperoni Pizza – good flavor, but the portion was small for $21. • Wild Berry French Toast – also good, but I added eggs and turkey sausage separately. In hindsight, I wish the server had mentioned the meal option that already included those items — but I’ll chalk that up to customer error. Again, service was friendly and attentive. It’s worth a visit, especially during happy hour, but be mindful of the pricing.

Google
We had an amazing experience at Hampton Social on High Street. The food was fantastic — we ordered the fish sandwich and the lobster roll. Both were delicious, though the lobster roll felt a little overpriced at $42.00. The ambience is incredible — the décor and vibe really make you feel like you’re in a coastal getaway, and the courtyard is super cool. One thing that was a bit deceiving was the service fee. It’s presented as a general fee for the restaurant, but then you also have the option to add an additional tip (3%, 5%, or 7%) specifically for your server. It wasn’t entirely clear what percentage the service fee covered, which left us a little confused. Overall, though, the food and atmosphere made it a great experience, and we’d definitely come back.

Google
We stopped by The Hampton Social for brunch and had a great experience. Reservations are definitely recommended, as it gets busy. The atmosphere was lively with a relaxed coastal vibe, and the live music was a welcome bonus. For drinks, I had the Pink Rêverie—topped with a light, airy foam that added a fun twist. My daughter tried the Mermaid Twist and really enjoyed it. For food, we shared the Wild Berry French Toast, which was bursting with flavor, and the Denver Scramble, which was equally satisfying. A solid brunch spot we’d be happy to revisit!

Google
The service was great..it was day three of opening. The food was just not good. It was way too salty. The calamari had alot of filler pieces in it so we didn't get much. The smash burger was salty and not good. The fries came out cold My husband said he like his tuna bowl but not for the $24 price. The place was decorated very nice and in a great location. Parking was free For the price and the food we just were really impressed unfortunately. It was only day three but based off other reviews I expected better.

Yelp
Me and my family visited The Hampton Social in Dunwoody, Ga and we had an amazing time. The food was absolutely delicious, the venue was beautiful, clean and stylish, and the staff was incredible. Our waiter's name was Joseph and he was so professional, friendly, and was able to explain the menu to us. He even gave us suggestions on menu items and we loved everything he suggested. He really made our experience amazing. Also, The hostess and all the staff we encountered were so friendly which made our first time at this location a great experience. We are from Florida and we were just visiting but we will definitely be back.

Yelp
If you are a fan of costal eats, this would be a spot to try. This is a newer spot in Dunwoody around the high Street area. It has free parking shopping area and it has two floors so you can always find a spot. So coming in the door you'll be greeted on the top floor and then they'll suit you. You can walk around to the bar if you so choose to, that's usually what I do. It is decorated in a lot of nautical themed decor, and is very well put together. The bars are decently sized bar and I usually have a nice number of bartenders there. On certain ice they have music and local artists who come and perform so you might be able to catch a show there as well. So just keep that in mind. They're happy hour is really good. You can probably see that on the pictures that are attached to this review, but it's a really solid happy hour if you want to come in for some bites. I've never sat at a table but I've predominally sat at the bar so my view can only lean toward that. But all of the bar staff has been solid. When you talk sin and they're warm and friendly and they're able to have a conversation with you if service and time allows them to. I've been enough to wear. I'm greeted as soon as I sit down. The staff makes the experience. When I say stap, I also want to include the management as well. The management that I've met has been stellar and very warm and inviting and has been a motivational factor in me coming back. Outside of the staff and the food, the other part is the service. The service time can be an issue here in a rush. Especially on those busy days. It feels like it'll take forever unfortunately, which is the biggest drawback. But the staff does communicate with you so it's not like they're leaving you in the dark about waiting for your pizza LOL. Sand and smoke - this is close to an old fashioned at this establishment. It's solid, but the sweet may throw you off just a little bit. I got mine doctored up a little bit and now I got it just right when I order. Brussel sprouts - they were good, had a lot of flavor to them...really...they had a lot going on (in a good way though). Would get them again. Hampton Caesar salad - The Caesar salad was okay, it was a Caesar salad. That's what you would expect LOL. Pepperoni pizza - The pizza was good. I did unfortunately take a whole pizza down by myself LOL but they're not super big. But it is just the right amount. And on happy hour they're half off. Calamari - Calamari was fried very well and had a good taste to it (even without the sauce).

Yelp
Enjoyed my dining experience in terms of atmosphere and feel. We received great service and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. The bar is great and they offer a wide range of drinks. It is definitely a great spot to stop by for happy hour or to relax and watch a game after work. However, the food to price ratio left much to be desired. The main problem, to me, is that of all the food offerings, you can go somewhere else in the city and get better food for a much cheaper price. Our group started off with the Coopers Beach Calamari. The flavor was delicious and the breading had excellent flavor and crunch. However, there are only about 15 calamari mixed in with fried jalapenos and (I believe) zucchini. I ordered the Shelter Island Chicken Sandwich, which comes with chips. The sandwich was flavorful and was not overcooked. The fried slaw on top added a nice crunch along with the pickles. My wife ordered the Margherita pizza and the Golden Beet salad. She really enjoyed the salad and we both liked the pizza. The pizza has great flavor and provides the perfect ratio of toppings to crust for a Margherita. However, both items were very small for the price paid for the meals. We got a 5:30pm reservation on a Wednesday and were able to get right in. However, be sure to make a reservation because it was crowded up stairs and by the bar around 6. Highly recommend stopping by here for happy hour drinks and small bites. Just be prepared to pay a bit more than usual if you decide to order a full meal.

Yelp
Super cute Martha's Vineyard vibes in here. You usually need a resy to get a table. However, we did walk in. The ambience is beautiful. We had been to one in Chicago and loved it there so, we wanted to check it out here in my hometown! The service is impeccable. The manager does rounds to make sure everything is ok. The servers are super nice. I got the crab bruschetta and my husband got the chicken sandwich. His was definitely fire. The fries were BOMB!!! The crab tho, fell flat. I would definitely be back with my homies.

Yelp
Came here one evening for a night out and I really enjoyed it. The prices were a little high, but overall it's a nice place. The food we ordered was all good. I wasn't a huge fan of the 1/2 chicken. It didn't have enough seasoning on it for me. However my favorite thing was the donuts for dessert. They have mocktails which are really nice and enjoyable. Would definitely come here again.

Yelp
Visited here on a Tuesday afternoon during happy hour. The food was really good. I got a Caesar salad and a truffle mushroom pizza along with a drink called Resort Water and that was GOOD. The salad was about $13 and the pizza was $11 for the happy hour menu. The drink was $8. The salad was really good and fresh. The pizza was flavorful but the crust could've been a little thicker for my preference. The service overall was really was good but things from the kitchen and drinks came out pretty slower than I expected. Overall I'd definitely go back and try other things on the menu. SN. The bathroom is down a bunch of flight of stairs which can be pretty inconvenient for those who can't take the stairs.

Yelp
I had the opportunity to attend the Friends and Family Soft Opening and was genuinely impressed. Even with the "soft" launch setting, the team delivered warm, spirited service across the board: hosting, bartending, and table service were all on point. Overhead music is a vibrant playlist. Ke, our host, kindly honored my request for patio seating. The communication among the hosting staff was smooth and efficient, which kept things flowing well. Chris behind the bar was a standout--great energy, friendly check-ins, and a natural way of making guests feel welcome. Our server, Ty, was excellent. She managed her section with grace and was incredibly patient and attentive, especially as we navigated some dietary restrictions. QT, the floor manager, personally came by to chat about vegan options and made sure I felt seen and supported in my choices. Much appreciated. One thing to note: there isn't a dedicated fryer for vegan or vegetarian items yet, which means options like the chips, Brussels sprouts, and pretzels aren't suitable. Hopefully, the culinary team considers this moving forward. At this stage of the soft launch, ingredient removals are allowed, but additions or substitutions aren't just yet - no "deconstruction" of the offerings. What we ordered: * Sunrise Beach Bowl - brown rice, quinoa, avocado, plantains, onion, black beans, and salsa (minus the egg and aioli). * Greek Bowl - rice, quinoa, greens, beets, cucumber, tomato, edamame hummus, and tahini. * Crispy Coconut Tofu - edamame hummus, cauliflower rice, quinoa, plantains, mango salsa, and avocado. * Hampton Caesar - mesclun greens, no bacon, with croutons and parmesan. The bottom level houses another bar, dining area and covered patio over looking the green space. Restrooms are only located on this level. Stairs and elevators are available. Main entrance is on the street level next to Agave Bandido with complimentary parking in the adjacent garage. All around, a great first visit. I've already noted my preferred patio spot in my OpenTable (dedicated reservation platform) profile. Welcome to the High Street Community, looking forward to becoming a regular.

Yelp
Grand opening weekend at the Hampton Social! There's a free parking garage. First impressions - decor gives beach/nautical vibes. Hostess greeted us with a smile. There was a live musician singing and playing a guitar, which was a nice touch for brunch. Our waitress was kind. We asked for menu suggestions and she gave several without finding out our preferences. She made us put in our entire food order, which was odd. Never had to do that in a US restaurant but we obliged. We ended up not going with her suggestions and ordered spinach dip and the shrimp & crab bruschetta. The bruschetta was delicious! The spinach dip was basic. They served it with tortilla chips and sliced cucumbers and carrots. The cucumbers were wilted and appeared to not be very fresh. The smash burger was just ok. I've had better smash burgers elsewhere. The fries came out cold but my girls ate them! We did enjoy the guava lemonade and the Frosé. Not sure if we would come back, but if we did I would try one of the pizzas.

Yelp
We came for a late lunch. Restaurant is pretty. We sat on the upstairs patio. They have fans to help with the heat. BEES are a MAJOR PROBLEM. We were swarmed the whole time. Otherwise, it's a great patio area. We had the beet salad. It was refreshing but a little salty. I had the warm lobster roll. Overall good but a lot of bread compared to the meat for $40 and pretty greasy from the all the butter. My husband had the fish sandwich and he enjoyed it. Bathrooms are downstairs. I thought there was only a single restroom when I stepped off the elevator but there are additional restrooms by the downstairs bar complete with a changing table for all the parents out there. No issues with service.

Yelp
I was really happy for this franchise to come to Atlanta. I frequented the one in Orlando several times. Unfortunately I was let down, the staff was very confused & super slow. Maybe they need more time to get it together and get acquainted. Ambience: 10/10 (this is where my stars come from). Very cute and nice for pictures Drink: 5/10 Pink Reverie, took 10 minutes to come out... and I'm at the bar. Not photogenic or photo worthy like advertised. Tasted like Tropicana grapefruit juice. Food: 5/10 Gatsby breakfast, took 45 minutes and was cold, the middle of the French toast was uncooked.. I subbed the pork bacon for turkey sausage and paid a $2.95 upcharge. A lot of food for what you pay. Personally, I don't like my food to come on a plate this way. The taste was good nonetheless.

Yelp
The atmosphere in this place is absolutely amazing !! Me and my girls went on a Monday night, and the food was so worth the price point. I highly recommend the octopus appetizer, and the ahi tuna. The service was pretty good, but the wait for our food was a little long for a Monday night. We also had to ask for silverware a few times, and it just seems a little disorganized. However I will give them some grace since I know they are a new establishment. Overall I would highly recommend this place if you're in the Atlanta area

Yelp
I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant. The Atmosphere: The restaurant is in a new development. There's indoor & outdoor seating. I recommend sitting outdoor if the weather permits. There's a courtyard with a Cornhole set up; another space for photo ops/sessions. I noticed a small stage that had the potential for live entertainment. (I did not ask any of the employees if they do live entertainment.) The Drinks: I had the Hampton Frosé...... 2 of them - very refreshing with a kick. It was good. Appetizers: The server said the Bang Bang chicken was popular. It was good. It came with dipping sauces on the side. Don't know what they were because the chicken was good without it. My cousins ordered the Calamari and Crab & Shrimp Bruschetta. I'm picky when it comes to Calamari. It has to be cooked a certain way. If it's chewy & rubbery, I'll pass. But the Calamari here, it is cooked well. It had the texture of a fish or salmon. The Crab & Shrimp Bruschetta is a mixture like a tuna salad. It was good. If you are not a Crab or Shrimp person, you will not be able to tell the difference. What I noticed about both is that they did not have that seafood fishy smell. Entrees: My cousins ordered the Braised Short Rib and Skirt Steak Frites. They said the Skirt Steak was a-may-zing, the best steak they've had. The server knew my cousin's fries were cold (how, I don't know). When the server brought my cousin her plate, she told my cousin that she would bring her some fresh hot fries. My cousin said the Braised Short Rib was good, too. The overall vibe: good place for date night & a girlfriends get together. Worth giving it a try.

Yelp
The location is in a nice area and located around other restaurants and condos/apartments. We had a reservation but did have to wait for maybe 15 -20 mins. So be mindful, you may have a reservation but that doesn't mean you get seated when you arrive or shortly after. We had an our waitress come and give a thorough overview of the menu. She did say she suggests each person get an appetizer due to portion size (not sure why it's called shareables if that's the case or maybe it's a selling tactic *shrugs*) Nevertheless we generally get multiple apps when we dine. She also stated we would need to order everything together, relating to the food, to make the flow I guess easier for the chef or something of that nature. I will say the food was okay. Could've used more seasoning for the fish as we each ordered fish sandwiches. The chips were overly salty. Same as the chips for the spinach dip and batter on the calamari. My food was lukewarm. Nothing to complain about. We also had a long wait for food...and us sitting outside didn't help (but that was a choice). I may try again at a different time to try a different menu other than the brunch menu.

Yelp
The food was at best mediocre, which is massively disappointing and the location is great, it is well designed. Service was ok! I have the shrimp tacos, honestly I stopped eating them because the shrimp tasted a little too fishy and ripe. My wife had a pizza which was very salty. We also have calamari and oysters, agin both were average at best. Good for ambiance , not for food or price.

Yelp
My first time at a Hampton social... The vibe was great and the cocktails at the bar were wonderful. The service at the table was mediocre at best. I really wish I could remember the server's name, but all I can do is describe her... She was an older woman with light colored hair about shoulder length maybe a tattoo on her arm. I'm pretty sure we weren't supposed to be her table and I really wish she hadn't taken us. As we placed our order, I said I would have the chicken sandwich and instead of chips I would like to have fries... Before she even moved to the next person at the table I asked if it was possible to get truffle fries and her response was I already sent it to the kitchen . I also ordered a club soda, which never arrived. I think the automatic 18% gratuity resulted in poor service because they don't even have to try. I'm disappointed . The food was good. My chicken sandwich was delicious. The fries came out cold and when I asked about the truffle fries after the food arrived, she said well I asked the kitchen, but I guess they forgot and she said she was gonna check on it, but never returned. I hope they make some adjustments to staffing and do some additional training. Maybe even remove the required 18% gratuity... Honestly, I typically tip no less than 20% so the staff loses out with auto gratuity in my opinion

Yelp
Two stars only because they've newly opened and are working out the kinks which may or may not be resolved in the future. Otherwise an absolute one star experience, if not the worst I've ever had at a restaurant that has been so hyped up. We arrived at 7:10 for our 7:15 reservation to a full lobby of people waiting to be sat. We were eventually led to what I can only describe as the worst table in the entire restaurant, a two top smack dab in the middle of that busy lobby. The hostess tried to sit us practically on top of the other couple unfortunate enough to sit in that four table section. I politely asked to be sat one table down just to have a smidgeon of privacy. She scoffed and said she needed to make sure it was the same server's section (which it very obviously was, it's one table away in a four table section. If it was a different section it would be the only table in it). Hostess was a black woman with curly bleached hair, in case management sees this and needs to have a conversation. Needs an attitude adjustment as when she returned she simply slammed our menus on the new table and walked away. Hostesses are clearly not alerting servers when they're sat, but it took a good ten minutes for anyone to come over and get us water. Food took over 45 minutes to arrive, our appetizer nowhere in sight. I got a dozen oysters, which were all very small but that's the gamble you take with oysters. But the flavor was lacking in all of them. Very watery, little brine. My husband got the lobster roll, which was an okay portion - a bit small. We were told the chips were awful and were recommended to get fries instead - very small portion for the price paid. Our second round of drinks took about 20 minutes to arrive so we asked for the check quickly. I don't blame our server for anything. He was nice and it was a chaotic environment. He told us about the auto gratuity, but I'm not sure if he removed our appetizer that never came as my husband forgot to check and we didnt see an itemized receipt. With auto gratuity, we paid $202 for four drinks, twelve small oysters, a lobster roll and a batch of frozen fries. Would not recommend.

Yelp
Ambiance is great, service is friendly. The time it takes for food to be served is long. This could be that it's new and they are working out the kinks. The quality of the food for your money isn't great. Food is expensive for what it is, and drinks are very expensive. A Michelin's ultra is 8 dollars for example. The cocktails are around 17. They add an automatic 18% tip ahead of time but they do a good job letting you know. Be warned paying by QR code adds an additional fee.

Yelp
We visited The Hampton Social on opening day and the vibe was really good. The place had great energy and a lively atmosphere. There was a bit of a wait, which is understandable for a brand new spot, but it was totally worth it. We ordered the calamari, tuna tartare, shrimp tacos, and truffle mac. Everything was very tasty, especially the truffle mac which was the standout dish for me. Our server Piper was amazing! super attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. We actually liked it so much that we came back the next day for brunch. I had the ahi tuna bowl which ended up being my favorite dish overall. My boyfriend had the fried chicken stack and said it was super tasty. You can expect long waits since they just opened, but the food and service make it well worth it. Great experience all around.

Yelp
Disclaimer: Service was good and the vibe is nice. The Frose cocktail was pretty good and priced at $17, which is normal for a cocktail in Atlanta. The pizza was fine but not great at all for a 12 inch paper thin crust for over $20. What got me was ordering a glass of "house" Chardonnay. I did order the 8 ounce, an upgrade from the 6 ounce, but it was $33!!!! $33 for a glass of house wine at a chain restaurant, or any restaurant, is highway robbery. The first time I went my husband and I got a half dozen of their "special of the day" oysters from the west coast at $5 each. Presented beautifully, but we couldn't finish them, and we are oyster fiends. They tasted so off. This was my second time here (with good service but again not great food or prices) and I will not be back. Extremely overpriced, and it's Dunwoody, not London or NYC.

Yelp
Service was incredibly slow, even to be seen at our table to get water. Drinks from the bar were even slower. Food is small portions and high prices. 2 apps and 2 drinks came to $103....nope.

Yelp
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT GOOD SERVICE... This place definitely caters to a certain clientele. Lots of seafood and I really wanted to give it a chance. Service was the worst part. We had a reservation and still had to wait. We were sat in the loudest area in a back corner behind the bar. Our server took a very long time to get to us and first thing he said was that the chef apparently recommended that we get our app, entree and dessert in all at once for "the best customer experience" which I've never heard before. The staff was unbothered in helping us with anything and my wife and I wanted to give it a chance but it took way too long for us to even get our drinks so we left. Highly WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Alisha C.

Yelp
Beware of hidden fees at checkout! Platform fee to pay. Surcharge to pay other staff. Then they ask you to tip your waiter. Menu prices were normal until you realize they add on extra costs at checkout to pay. Great decor. Tasty selections. But over $50 after u tip for egg hash and one drink is a never again for me. Too many dining options in the area to be subject to these extra costs. No option to opt of tabletop app payment and just pay your bill and tip only your server to avoid the surcharge.

Yelp
Horrible service. The servers take their sweet time and socialize while you're waiting to just get greeted at your table. I don't recommend.

Yelp
Average Food, Good Service, Good Ambiance. Im not going back. The check out really annoyed me. You have to use Apple Pay with an automatic 18% "Living Wage" fee. Then after you click that it gets even more irritating that they want you to pay an additional 7% tip. I refused and typed 0. This was after reading a question if I wanted pay more with no opt out option. The kicker is after all this there is a "Platform Fee" of $1.79 to use the Apple Pay. Welcome to Corporate 2025. Decent turned into Horrible Experience.

Yelp
Hate to give two stars but 3 would be a stretch. Crowed because it was new but wait staff (mine anyway) didn't have the experience to be working a place like this. Tired of places complaining about understaff, managers may have assigned to many tables but here's the rub. Sit down greeted after couple minutes, just a hello, no water in hand. 5 more minutes no water( hello it's hot out). Ordered bottle of wine and one mixed drink . 20 minutes go by and drink arrives, no wine in hand. 5 more minutes shows up with wrong bottle, did she come right back, NO Served drinks to another table and clocks ticking , finally brings the bottle. 30-35 minutes to get a drink. Sorry agin for the 2 but get the drinks so people can talk and dig your costal vibe. Island time is not for me, to many other great places in ATL. Either wait staff needs higher bar set to be hired in first place or get another bar tender that's not named "turtle" Three wine choices and an automatic 18% added auto to your bill Some staff won't tell you that. I would have tipped 15% due to horrible service but forcing us to reward mediocre is just plain wrong.

Yelp
The restaurant was so clean and pretty. I had the monkey bread as a brunch appetizer which was delicious, I will definitely be ordering it again. I also tried a strawberry mimosa and seersucker squeeze. The seersucker squeeze was refreshing. One of the managers noticed the strawberry pulp in my mimosa had coagulated and went behind the bar to make me a fresh one, it was SO nice and delicious! My friend had the froze and costal sunrise. I was impressed by how good all the drinks were. As a main dish I had the lobster roll manhattan style and Parmesan fries. I wish the lobster rolls had a little more flavor but the bread was still delicious and the fries were great. The waiting staff was very attentive! They were constantly checking up on us and very helpful. Both managers stopped by our table to talk to us which made us feel very taken care of. I am excited to return for happy hour and try some new stuff!

Yelp
We had high hopes for our visit. I've never been more disappointed in a restaurant as I was with this place. It's a huge, well designed space with obvious deep pockets of the owner group. That's where it comes to an abrupt stop. Due to Atlanta traffic and construction we were 20 minutes late. We were immediately SCOLDED by the person at the desk that "we don't hold reservations after 15 minutes, I'll see what I can do". We were seated in 15 minutes (this a huge place with two stories of indoor seating and a large patio-so I didn't see why this would be an issue). We were led to an elevator to take us down to the first floor. The elevator is flanked by a bussing station with dirty plates. I felt like we were taking the service elevator. The elevator arrived and we were joined by a server with a tray of food he was taking to a first floor table. Unacceptable. When we were seated we were greeted by our server who was smacking gum. It is pretty loud in the space so trying to hear her while she was talking and chewing was impossible. She advised us that they have "rules". There was an automatic 18% gratuity-we were a party of four, but if we wanted to tip her more we could (we hadn't even gotten our water yet). Then she said the kitchen "requires" us to submit our entire order at the same time so "they" can better schedule the preparation. I'd never heard of that before. We usually have a cocktail or bottle of wine and order an appetizer for the table while we decide what we want for our entire. We were "not allowed to do that". Ironically we decided to "accommodate the kitchen". The server returned a few minutes later and advised us that they were out of one of our entrees. All while chewing gum. We had to "ask" for a menu to determine what to replace it with. The food arrived all at the same time, salad, cold soup, and lukewarm main courses, perhaps it took too long for the elevator to transport our food to our table or there were too many patrons on the elevator to accommodate the waiter. The portions were small and overpriced. We are foodies who dine out a few times a week, entertain business associates, and one of our guests is a liquor distributor. Apparently this is not unusual for this restaurant/restaurant group to have this issue. Another friend mentioned a similar experience in Nashville. Atlanta has too many locally owned restaurants to tolerate this experience-ask Emeril or the many chain restaurants that have died over the years in Atlanta. To us this was NOT "Funwoody" it was "Dumbwoody". Cheers!
