The Hampton Social in Streeterville offers a perfect blend of atmosphere, service, and food. Whether you’re enjoying the lively patio or the comfortable indoor seating, the ambiance is inviting and stylish. The service is excellent—helpful, attentive, and genuinely friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. The cocktail menu is well-crafted, with drinks that are refreshing and full of flavor. As for the food, the lobster rolls are a standout. They’re light yet satisfying, with a wonderful balance of briny flavor with a touch of sweetness, all perfectly seasoned. Paired with their indulgent truffle fries, it makes for a delicious meal that hits all the right notes.

Google
Everything about our lunch was phenomenal. The gentleman running the front was on point with organizing and getting us seated. The shrimp tacos were bomb! Everything the table had was 5/5 good

Google
First and foremost, the service was great. The hospitality provided by The Hampton Social was noteworthy. The atmosphere was pleasant, clean, and filled with seemingly happy customers. The food feels just a little over priced for me. It was good but not quite to the standard that most claim and did not quite rise to the expectation based on the menu prices. The Hampton Social is worth stopping by if you're near!

Google
A FANTASTIC dinner!!! Oyster were perfect and well served. Shrimp Tacos are the perfection! A really nice place to eat well. Service was perfect, present and very nice. Maybe, the only thing not perfect was the music..... House music is not the best for a place like this. 5+ stars

Recently I came here for the second time, and this time I came with my family for a nice brunch. We had a great time here thanks to the good food, desserts, drinks and the excellent waiter. If you stop by I highly recommend trying at least one glass of rose, and the monkey bread you won’t regret it.

Google
Food was excellent. We visited twice during our stay in Chicago. Atmosphere was amazing. Service was good, only complaint was I ordered a N/A drink and the waiter put in the order for one with alcohol and while that may be ok to others, alcohol intake can make me ill and I sipped the drink so I was worried about that piece but overall it was good.

Hampton Social delivers a wonderful dining experience with its delicious food and excellent service. The menu offers a variety of flavorful dishes that are sure to please any palate. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring a pleasant visit. Whether for a casual lunch or a night out, Hampton Social is a great choice.

Google
A great casual dining experience! Lucas the manger got us seated right away after a mixup with reservations at the other location. The service was fantastic. The food was perfect except the fries they were a little undercooked and very pricey $7.00 for a small portion. But the seared ahi and the salmon was fresh and delicious, when we are back next year for the marathon we will come again!

Yelp
Came here for Brunch this past Sunday since our hotel was not too far away. The decor of this restaurant is very nice and inviting. They have big windows facing the busy streets out front that open up to give you the feeling that you're sitting outside on the patio without actually being on the sidewalk. Our waiter was very pleasant, making sure our waters were filled and answering any questions that we might have. Food came out pretty quickly. I ordered the smash burger with fries. My husband and my brother-in law ordered the breakfast sandwich, but my husband also got the French toast. My sister-in law got some scrambled egg dish, not exactly sure of the name of her dish. My burger was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The bacon on the breakfast sandwiches was basically fat which they didn't like so they took them off. If they would have known they would have asked for their crispy bacon instead. Over all the food was good and so was the service.

Yelp
Popped in for drinks with friends and it took about 20 minutes for us to be acknowledged by any waiter with several tables being helped before us. When our orders were taken our 4 drinks took about 20-25 minutes to come out. We enjoyed our drinks and the restaurant itself was nicely decorated, however the level of service for such a high price point makes this a place I'd only go back to for a happy hour if I happen to be in the area.

Yelp
A cute place for brunch with an Instagram-able interior. The food was just okay. The Monkey Bread was delicious - it's essentially croissants with chocolate and pecan. However, it is very sweet and heavy. The chicken sandwich had a lot of potential to be good but the sauce was unfortunately too watery and caused the bottom half of the bun to be completely soggy. The fried chicken stack was good but nothing special in my opinion. Service is decent and food arrived pretty quickly. Overall, this is a casual place to dine and I think it would be good for brunch.

Yelp
Randomly found this spot on Yelp since we were looking for brunch on our way to the Field Museum. We didn't have to wait in line, and we were immediately seated upon arrival. It was busy but it wasn't super packed. The interior gave a beach vibe and I loved how clean and modern the restaurant looked. I ordered French Toast and it was extremely sweet. I wasn't a big fan of the syrup to be honest since the sauce was very thick. My husband ordered a Denver Scramble and it was average. The scrambled eggs didn't have much flavor but the hash browns were extremely crispy, which I liked. Overall, this is a great restaurant to hang out with friends because of it's atmosphere!

Yelp
Came here with a few friends on Sunday mid-morning and ate at the bar so we could try to watch football. I ordered a coffee and the Wild Berry French Toast which was seriously so good. Even though it was so, so good, I wasn't able to finish it all due to the large portion size. I loved the ricotta it came with. My friends ordered the Fried Chicken Stack and the Breakfast Sandwich. Our server, Jack G. was great. My favorite part of this restaurant was the cute vibes... rose all day, life is better at the Hampton Social, etc. etc. Not too mention the live music that played as we ate. I didn't realize there are multiple stories - it was busier on the second floor. Great spot!

Yelp
We had a short time before we had to leave for our flight, so we had to find some place close to the hotel. None of us wanted anything too heavy, and Yelp helped us find this place. My coworker and I split a bowl of clam chowder, which they kindly split into two small bowls. It was sooooooo good. This is how good chowder is made. Potatoes and veggies and cream.... chef's kiss! I had the Ahi Tuna Bowl for my entree, and it was perfect. Highly recommend this place, especially if you're looking for a tasty meal in the healthier side.

Yelp
Great vibe and food! Restaurant is nautical themed and had a fun atmosphere. On a recent Tuesday they had live music. We didn't have reservations but they quickly sat us in the lounge area (behind the live music which was a bit odd but worked). We all loved our meals, cocktails were also very creative and well executed. Service was excellent as well, I recommend!

Ryan M.

Yelp
Really cool vibe for a restaurant. Drinks were delicious. The staff was very friendly. We sat at the bar and our food came out pretty quickly for how packed it was. I ordered the Greek bowl and my friend ordered the crab shrimp bruschetta. They were both great portions and very filling.

Lauren A.

Yelp
This was such a cute spot. We came here for lunch before we went off shopping and I'm glad we did. I ordered the Southampton pizza and it was so good. It is definitely big enough for two people. I will say that if I go back, next time I'm in town, I'm trying the burger because it looked amazing! My friends had the lobster roll and based on how they secured it, I would say it was great. The sparkle/glitter drink is not sweet! If you like sweet do not get this. I had to ask for simple syrup on the side. Service was okay, he could have been more attentive. We would ask for things and then not see him for quite a while. When he came back he didn't have what we asked for but then he would quickly go grab it.

Yelp
Great restaurant for brunch! Really enjoyed the Hampton Frose and overall vibe. The service was mostly good and everything came out promptly. (We didn't see that you pay the bill at the table, so after finishing we waited like 20 minutes for the server to come back to pay...wondering why he never came. Our bad, but would have been nice to check in after we finished.). The food tho. The crabcake Benedict and hash brown was AMAZING. Will be back for those!!!

Yelp
Went on a Wednesday for a late lunch and had no clue how popular this place is, so we had a 30 minute wait. It's worth making reservations even if you think you won't need them to be safe. All of the staff we interacted with from the time we got on the waiting list until our meal was done were super nice and extremely attentive. Loved that the menu had a mix of familiar foods and some more unique options like grain bowls and pizzas with non traditional toppings. We both ended up getting pizzas and I LOVED my avocado corn one. The drink list also has some fun combos to try, like my rosé spritz. The space has a light, laidback feeling to it. Great for meeting up with friends for drinks or a night out. They also have tables to accommodate larger groups if needed.

Yelp
Hampton Social always hits the spot! Tried a couple new things this time and loved just about everything, especially the calamari. Avocado toast with asparagus was a bit unexpected but still tasty. My main complaint is the music volume. They really crank up the sound in this place. Live music is cool, but when I can't hear my dining partner without leaning over the table and half-yelling, it kills the mood.

Yelp
This is a great bunch spot that the serves an elevated concept with flavorful options, great live music, and a relaxed and airy environment. I came with my finance and had a great experience. We came during brunch on Saturday about 1140 and the place was already busy. Reservations are not required but make it easy to get in. We sat at the bar (first come, first served) even though outdoor seating (2nd flr) was about 20 min wait and indoor(1st & 2nd flr) was 45 min. Service was great, Quinn was attentive and polite, made tasty drinks and helped us feel relaxed. We got the Caesar salad with salmon, the fiesta bowl with steak, Mac n cheese and Parmesan fries, lighthouse reserve and a Moscow mule. We were vibing. I feel like I could have hung out all day! Definitely worth a visit. Pro tip, be sure to verify which location you reserve at because there are two within a mile of each other. Also, bathroom is on the second floor and you have to take an elevator to get to it.

Madison D.

Yelp
This place was really good but we were forgotten about for about what seemed 20 minutes and only the managers noticed us but the staff were nice, our waiter made awkward conversation but was nice otherwise. The honey glazed salmon was really good and I would come back again for this. The creamed street corn was a table favorite and went quickly. The pizza was also good. The pasta on the other hand felt like it was missing something.

Michelle E.

Yelp
Definitely a nautical beach vibe. The upstairs is nice as it is a bit of an escape from the busy Streeterville neighborhood. There is both indoor and covered outdoor seating. It was rather busy for a Friday at 11:30 am, but we didn't have a reservation if it would have been needed. They offered both Maine and Connecticut style lobster rolls; I got the Maine one and a friend got the other. I was a little surprised that it didn't come with anything as a side just the roll. It was good and the market price was not as wild as it could have been. Service was good.

Yelp
My boyfriend, his family and I visited the Hampton Social to celebrate many things!! Retirement, birthdays, back to school, and just to celebrate family in general. All of the food we ordered was delicious. The family ordered an array of items which included breakfast sandwiches, the monkey bread which was so soft and delicious, the fiesta bowl with salmon - salmon was very succulent, a lobster roll, the gatsby breakfast, and the fish sandwich. All of our items came out fresh and hot and everyone enjoyed their meal. Our waiter was friendly and helpful and the ambiance was just perfect for a family brunch.

Yelp
Met some gf's for a drink before the fireworks cruise and ended up getting dinner after seeing the tofu dish on the menu. I'm always excited to see a non-mushroom, more than pasta, veg option on a menu (at a non Vegetarian restaurant). The Crispy Coconut Tofu was absolutely delicious!! I raved so much a gf went back a week later to try it herself (she was not disappointed). The atmosphere was lovely. Open windows and super cute decor. I was obsessed with the plates! We split a bottle of Rosé and we all agreed it was refreshing without being overly sweet. This spot has been added to the rotation for sure!

Jeannie Y.

Yelp
The Hampton Social has a great vibe, especially with live music playing even on a Monday night, which adds a lively touch. It's a convenient spot for anyone working around the area, just a short walk from Northwestern Medical Center. Out of all the dishes we tried, the clam chowder was hands down the best--rich and flavorful. The pork had a surprising sweetness to it, though I'm still wondering why. Service was excellent throughout, and the open windows let in a refreshing breeze, making the atmosphere even better. The lobster roll was a bit oily but still decent. Overall, a good spot for a casual meal!

Ashley H.

Yelp
Delicious food, delightful drinks and scrumptious desert! I did the shrimp sandwich, a sparkly gin drink and the blueberry bread pudding! So satisfying and service was all I could have asked for. Great suggestions and warm personality! A must try!

Deondre J.

Yelp
The restaurant's aesthetics were excellent! And on a warm day, I bet the roof is such a vibe. The food was OKAY. I didn't hate it. The $48 "shared" drink was good, but it wasn't worth the $48. It was a lot of ice, maybe that drink I'll ask to hold the ice.

Bridgette S.

Yelp
Cute place, but was rather overpriced. Both of us had two espresso martinis and he had a latte (pictured). One appetizer and each had an entree. $225 before tip. The food was good, but the bill was kind of a shock.

Robin T.

Yelp
Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While the ambiance of the restaurant is charming and the menu promised an enticing array of dishes, the execution fell short. First, the service was quite disappointing. Despite the restaurant not being overly busy, our server seemed inattentive and uninterested. We had to wait a considerable amount of time to place our orders and even longer for our drinks to arrive. The server brought me the wrong drink and then, after I'd had a sip, tried to take it away to throw it out. Why not just ask if we wanted to keep it, since it was his mistake? The most significant letdown, however, was the tuna tartare. The tuna was poorly prepared, lacking the delicate texture and taste that should be the highlight of the dish. The white connective tissue left in the tuna was very chewy and inedible, resulting in an overall disappointing experience. That being said, I believe there is potential here. The restaurant's atmosphere is appealing, and some of the other dishes looked quite promising. I would recommend focusing on improving the quality of the service and paying closer attention to the preparation and presentation of key dishes like the tuna tartare. I hope this feedback is helpful, and I look forward to seeing improvements in the future.

Yelp
I'm back, as promised to update by previous review. After finally making it back to this Hampton Social location for brunch, it's back on my faves list. Our server(s) (we may have had a pro and trainee combo) were great. They were attentive and gave good, honest recommendations. This time, we shared the spinach dip and a coastal experience large seashell. As a main, I had the crab cake benedict. I jsut knew I was going to have leftovers based on the serving size, but by the time I registered my first bite as delicious...it was gone! *chef's kiss* And of course, I still stand by these brussels sprouts being the best in the land! I'm so glad, I decided to give this spot another try. I'll be back a thousand times!

John R.

Yelp
From the outside, it doesn't look like much. But once you step inside, you get transported to a sunny cheerful place. It has New England vibes, like a Maine lobster restaurant near the ocean with lots of blue and white and ocean themed decor. For appetizers, we got the calamari, bruschetta, monkey bread and Bang Bang chicken. All were delicious. We could have been happy satisfied customers just from eating these starters. The calamari was light and crispy. The seafood bruschetta had not too soft and not too hard bread with the seafood toppings hitting the right notes. The Monkey Bread was not too sweet and made you keep wanting more. The Bang Bang chicken tenders were lightly breaded and had amazing flavors with a knockout sauce. We all loved our main entrees too, but we were getting a bit full from munching down the appetizers. We agreed to come again to try their dinner menu. Paying was easy since they allow use of the inKind app. I highly recommend.

Lynna T.

Yelp
Cool spot!! Came here for happy hour with a friend. I started with a drink at the bar, super friendly bartenders!! We got a salad and the truffle fries to share. I also loved my cocktail, it had glitter in it?!?! So cool. Good vibes overall

Cesar C.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to brunch at the Hampton Social Streeterville with friends while visiting Chicago. The friends we met there recommended it highly. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to its reputation. While the food was good, it wasn't great enough to make up for the mediocre service. The steak and egg dish was a good brunch option. The sirloin was cooked as ordered as was the fried egg--not too runny. The fish sandwich, a crispy fried cod with a slice of cheddar and tartar, was very filling. I ordered French fries with it (for an extra charge), but apparently they forgot about them. I waited for a while, and when I realized they weren't coming, I canceled the order with a server or perhaps a manager. A few minutes later, another server brought the fries and apologized for the delay. They said they would take the charge off the bill. The other items our group had were good, but I'm not sure they stood out among the many restaurants in the area. The service, as evidenced by the missing fries, was very spotty. At times, we would have very rapid check-ins from different servers, but other times they would disappear for long stretches. Our local friends said they had not experienced that level of service before and were surprised by it. The noise level was very high, and at some point the restaurant added very loud music--in a place that didn't seem to have any noise-dampening panels. It made it very difficult to have a conversation on a Sunday morning. It was an OK experience, but I don't think I would go back.

Kate W.

Yelp
I had a great experience at the Hampton Social! The restaurant is beautifully themed without being too gimmicky, the food is fresh with a varied menu, and the service is wonderful. I was really pleased to see a variety of different options on the menu, although our server let us know that they're really known for the seafood and rosé. I ordered the coconut crusted tofu and it was amazing! I would go back just to order that again. Our server, Katie, was great. She was hospitable, warm, and super efficient. She made great recommendations too. The restaurant itself was very clean and had spotless bathrooms upstairs. I think this place would be especially fun for a girl's night, as the cocktail menu had a ton of fun options. I can't wait to be back again soon!

Yunior R.

Yelp
We've been to the one in Orlando and the food, vibe and service are equally amazing! We sat at the bar this time around as the wait time was longer than we could wait but it was just as great. Our bartender made us good drinks and the food was absolutely to die for.

Lydia Y.

Yelp
Cute brunch spot with beach club vibes. Food is average at best. If you end up going, stick with pasta and pizza bc their seafood options are bad. Salmon (both raw and cooked) is quite mushy, lobster is rubbery, and oysters are super fishy. The theme is not theming I prefer their brunch menu but even that is pricey imo and your local diner can do just as well.

Ashley W.

Yelp
Visited on a Friday for their happy hour. It was my first visit and I was not disappointed. The ambiance and the food and drinks offering was good. I loved the Frose. The service was a bit off, the waiter seemed annoyed whenever she interacted with my table, barely smiled, and looked as if she wanted to be anywhere else beside talking with my table lol. The manager checked on us and was courteous; the bus staff was also polite. Overall I will return and hopefully the service would be a bit better.

Shane D.

Yelp
I stopped through the Hampton Social during a work lunch break - not knowing how awesome this place was. What a fun, vibrant restaurant!! Their Rosé All Day theme is fantastic, and our food was delicious. I had the house Caesar salad with a medium rare steak. All told it was a tremendous spot to stumble into (and out of) if you are looking for an airy restaurant that will leave you with a smile!

Joshua B.

Yelp
Love the ambience here! Just such a lively young place with so many people around. It's located near my hotel and theres just so much to eat around, but here is a must. They have drinks for breakfast and the food here is top notch. Wait is a bit long so be careful. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito here because its just so wholesome!

Una D.

Yelp
Pretty good actually. Just came here for drinks. I ended up getting the gin and thyme which was excellent Really like the decor on the inside. One thing that was a little irkssom is the orientation of the TVs because I wanted to watch the Celtics game and there was a big giant pull which divided half of the screen and made it almost impossible to watch the game from my vantage point. Service is attentive but a bit on the slow side. Parking in this area is pretty tight. Prices a bit high however the drinks are pretty good. If I was in the area I definitely would be back

Fancypants X.

Yelp
Instead of allowing The Hampton Social's fun vibe, coastal theme, & pretty instagrammable spaces to mentally take me away to a beach oasis somewhere, I see this curated ambiance as reason to be apprehensive about their food taste & quality. And whaddayaknow? Our brunch dishes, eaten on their very cool rooftop, left something to be desired. There wasn't much going on with the Golden Beet Salad ($17) but the Denver Scramble ($16) fared a little better. The slice of toast was nicely buttered & the eggs weren't overcooked, but overall, the flavors were quite flat. Trendy neon signs & a hanging hammock chair will only get a restaurant so far if the food isn't the focus.

Ivonnie S.

Yelp
We came here on a Tuesday dinner, and it was still bustling inside! Most of their seating is for smaller groups (4 and under); since we had a party of 5, they recommended we make a reservation so that we could get a larger table in the corner with enough comfortable seating. FOOD // I loved all of the food we ordered and would 100% order them again - especially the pesto radiatori! + Golden Beet Salad (5/5): I love beets, and especially love a good beet salad. This was definitely a good beet salad. Red + gold beets, oranges, goat cheese, pistachios - it was a delicious sweet and savory combination in the warm weather. + Fish & Chips (5/5): I am pretty critical of my fish & chips. The Hampton Social delivered with an impressive version. The battered cod had a delighfully crispy exterior and a perfectly moist, flaky fish inside. The shoestring french fries were also crispy without being dry. + Pesto Radiatori with shrimp added (5/5): I would give more than 5 stars if I could for this pesto pasta. This was my favorite dish of the night. The pasta was cooked perfectly and was the perfect shape to capture the creamy pesto sauce. The sweet corn and pistachios added a nice dimension of crunchy texture and flavors, and the sweet/tartness of the roasted cherry tomatoes helped cut through the creaminess of the sauce. We added shrimp to one of our pasta dishes for an extra $12, which looked very pricey at first, but I'm glad we did - the shrimp was plump and tasty and elevated the dish even more. Another person in our party got the vegetarian version with no added proteins, and it looked like they didn't get as much of that delicious pesto sauce either. SERVICE + AMBIANCE // Great service, no complaints. This place gives off good vibes! There's a bar in the middle with seating, and additional tables all around. The walls opened up to let in the nice summer breeze (although it did get a bit loud occasionally with a few emergency vehicles whizzing by with blaring sirens). Later in the evening, they dimmed the lighting. I could see this being a great date night spot or fancy friend outing. Prices aren't the cheapest here, but overall I thought the meal and experience were a good value.

Yelp
I was recently in Chicago for the 1st time with my sister, and we were walking around the Riverwalk area. We looked on Google and saw The Hampton Social - Streeterville close by so we decided to go check it out. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hostess and seated us within two mins. Glad we got a table since it was around 1 pm on a weekday! The ambiance is very chill and modern inside. They have a bar in the middle. The server was pleasant and professional. I ordered the Half Roasted Chicken w baby potatoes + arugula and the truffle fries for lunch. The Roasted Chicken had a lemon flavor herbal taste on the skin and the meat was tender with a hint of lemon. It was delicious! The baby potatoes were also covered with herbs and some garlic, I enjoyed it too. The arugula was seasoned so it was tasty as well. The truffle fries had real parmesan on top and both of us enjoyed them. Overall the food was delicious and fresh.

Yelp
Really had high hopes for this place because all the reviews were great, but ultimately we left really disappointed. I'm leaving 3 starts because our server was great (the rest of the service was just ok). Unfortunately the food is extremely bland, we ended up sending back 2 of our 6 dishes and barely touched the crab cakes. We ordered the Greek goddess salad and they forgot the hard boiled egg which we ended up waiting 10 minutes for, for it to come out unsliced LOL. We were finished with the salad by then. The place had a cool vibe but it's really not worth spending your money at even if you're really really hungry like we were. Good sparkling water though!

Madeline M.

Yelp
I stopped with a group for a bite before a comedy show and it was fantastic! Open air and nice interior decor, however the food was really the star. I had the smash burger and fries and it was one of the tastiest I've had in a while - juicy and just the right amount of messy. The lobster roll and tacos also had great feedback from the table. The service was great; we had reservations and were seated right away and the food came quickly which was awesome so we could catch our show on time.

Rabab R.

Yelp
Brunch review - Quite expensive for brunch imo. The food was good, but the menu was quite limited. I got the eggs with French toast, and the avacado toast. Both were good, but not great!

Anna Y.

Yelp
Looking for a last minute lunch spot after shopping we easily made a reservation at Hampton Social. The live music when you walk in & bar area are super inviting, we went up to the 2nd floor to be seated. The cocktails were great, I definitely recommend the frosé!!! Amazing seafood, the oysters, calamari, & shrimp & crab bruschetta were delicious. I got the Hampton caesar & parmesan truffle fries and it was a perfect amount for lunch & to share as well. Definitely would come back!

Yelp
Give me baby blue ocean vibes all day long! This is such a cute spot Chicago! I agree with it all... Rose All Day! Life is better at the Hampton Social! The tuna tartare was fabulous! And just pile on the tuna would ya? I got the ahi tuna bowl too!

Yelp
On a visit to Chicago we are here twice for lunch! My daughter and I were looking for something on the lighter side for lunch before Magnificent Mile shopping. The Hampton Social was the perfect spot. So inviting upon entering, nice decor, and loved the wall of open windows along the street. Both times we had Parmesan Truffle fries, calamari, and the Chicken Pesto Bowl. Perfect Parmesan truffle fries! Great calamari. And the Chicken Pesto bowl was amazing! Perfect blend of flavors!! The casual and pleasant ambiance of the restaurant along with these 3 great dishes had us stopping in a 2nd time on our 4 day trip. That salad!!! Yum! Both times we had fabulous servers too. I don't remember the girl's name from the first day ‍ Carlos was the 2nd visit. So nice and attentive. Will definitely go again next time in Chicago!

Yelp
10/10!! Loved this spot!! I had heard great things about it and it 100% lived up to my expectations I posted what I ate in the pictures. I'd be back here in a heartbeat! The service was so good, my waiter was so attentive and friendly!! He gave me the best recommendations!! Thanks Louis!! The windows were opened up on the side so it was really nice and such a great vibe here. I'll be back next time I'm in Chicago, thank you Hampton Social!

Yelp
As a regular patron living near The Hampton Social, I've noticed a concerning trend: the portion sizes seem to be shrinking. Specifically, I'm a fan of their Ahi Tuna Bowl, which I always order to-go. However, after weighing the tuna in the bowl, I discovered it was a mere 2.7 ounces--hardly satisfying for a $25 meal. Feeling hungry afterward, I can't help but compare it to other dining options nearby. And to make matters worse, when I pointed out that they forgot the edamame, and offered to walk back to the restaurant to pick it up, they provided just 1 ounce of edamame per order (yes, I love my scale). I might be taking Hampton Social off of my list of nearby go to's.

Yelp
I'd been here for drinks before but never for brunch, and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing! We got the monkey bread, which can sell out fast, so we got it and although it was like a dessert, it was really good and worth the calories! My egg dish was also great, but my husband's eggs Benedict dish was so so good! I would definitely order that again for brunch.

Yelp
The perfect little spot to get brunch! We were able to get a table after a short wait considering we did last minute reservations on a Sunday late-morning. We started with cocktails until we were seated. My "I Glitterally Can't" was surprisingly bland considering it was supposed to have so many fruit flavors in it. The menu is perfect for any seafood lover. It offered so many dishes I wanted to try. I ended up going for two appetizers, the colossal crab cakes and the grilled octopus. Both were good, if a -tad- lacking in flavor. I also tried my cousin's monkey bread, which made for a great sweet compliment to our brunch. There was a fantastic live singer playing covers of some of my favorite obscure, not-so-current songs. While the construction across the street didn't make for the nicest viewpoint, the weather was perfect to have the bay doors open and enjoy the fresh air. It definitely is on the pricey side for brunch, but the ambiance and the menu make it work it.
