San is a wonderful server. She makes you feel welcome and right at home. Food is outstanding! Service spot-on. Large portions. Delicious.

Google
Great service. Amanda was our server and she way very pleasant and attentive. The food was great and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Good lunch specials.

Stephen Reed

Google
Friendly, efficient staff. Delicious food. Good selection of classic dishes.

Google
Very good quality Chinese dishes, we loved the appetizer combo platter, the pork fried rice, and lo mein house special (beef, chicken, and shrimp). The egg drop soup was also great, but I will say the wonton soup was extremely salty. They were dealing with a group of 26 so service was a bit slow, but understandable.

Google
The Hon Dynasty – Our Go-To Spot for Orange Chicken! Me and my wife come here just for the orange chicken – it's hands down the best we’ve had anywhere. Our kid always gets the shrimp noodles off the kids' menu and loves them. The service is always great, and they bring the food out pretty quickly, which is impressive considering how amazing everything tastes. The soup is always solid too, and we always get the crab rangoons – crispy and delicious every time. Highly recommend!

Google
Very pleasing dining experience. Lots of menu options, friendly and attentive service, and casual atmosphere. Food was very flavorful and satisfying.

Google
It's a 5 star with a grain of salt. I ate here on a Friday night when they had a party of 26 people. Our server was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with our order. Sadly, he was also in charge of a large section, which included the 26. As such, we had 0 water refills and I had none left halfway through my entree. He also forgot our soups, which we had after the entrees were long gone. It also took forever for him to get our check. But, again, it was a rough night for him / them. Despite that, the main course and appetizer were amazing (Volcano appetizer -amazing! Highly recommend! & Pork Fried Rice - my entree). My husband thoroughly enjoyed his egg drop soup, but my wonton soup came out so incredibly salty that I couldn't handle more than a few spoonfuls, it was very briney.

My husband and I came and placed a to go order yesterday 7/6/25. We were greeted by the sweetest young lady. I had asked her if she you'd write my name in Chinese which she did on my to go menu. We left for a few minutes and when we came back she asked for the menu back to correct a mistake she made. She's a treasure. This was our first visit. Both our dinners were amazing!

Yelp

Yelp
I loved this place! One of the best Chinese meals I have had in a long time! I travel for work so I often get on yelp or recommendations. This place was located close to me so I decided to give it a try. The staff was amazing very accommodating. I ordered the jalapeño chicken. I was going between two options and my waiter recommended the jalapeño chicken over my other choice I'm so glad I ordered it. It was delicious. I also ordered the hot and sour soup which is authentic. It was served piping hot and delicious. I ordered a jasmine tea, I love when they serve the entire pot! I highly recommend this restaurant. I saw someone complained about the price of the food on yelp which honestly I cannot believe. The quality was great, servings were large.

Yelp
Always good, the best we have found in FTW. Every place else has been hugely disappointing worth the few extra bucks. Great service.

Yelp
Stop by late weekday before closing. Big chinese restaurant with lots of table. Typical old american chinese restaurant. Ordered egg foo yung dinner. Come with option of steam rice or fried rice; a bowl of soup - hot & sour, egg drop or 1 pc wonton soup. Food taste good. Chili sauces, 2 types, hit the spot. Price was reasonable. Service was good and fast. Rating is good. Not bad for a chinese restaurant in Fort Wayne. Will come again next time in town to try different menu.

Yelp
I love the food at The Han Dynasty. The quality of ingredients and cooking is fantastic. People complain about the price. I'd say that these qualities are worth the price - if you are looking for fine Chinese food. Let me address the problems first. Han doesn't seem to have enough staff consistently. Each time Ive been the poor waitress had to hustle their tail off. Well done Linda! I'm sure they don't do this on purpose as there was a sign needing help. The other big deal is my meal came out 20 minutes after my wife's meal. The waitress was surprised I didn't have my meal. The manager came over to tell me the kitchen was backed up. They gave me a serving of soup as a consolation. Almost comical considering the cost of soup. As for the food...excellent as always. We started with the fried zucchini. The zucchini was well cooked and a bit mushy. The inside was steaming hot. The batter was absolutely delicious. The outside was a bit thick and crispy. Not crunchy. The creamy chive sauce was a nice touch. My wife loved her Mu Shu pork. She especially liked the plum sauce. I had the Mongolian Triple again. The brown sauce is excellent. The meats are tender. Absolutely delicious!!

Yelp
The sauce they use is like a jelly. It was disgusting. Not a place I'll eat at again.

Yelp
There are three types of Chinese food around Fort Wayne. You have some cheap eats which usually will do the job but they lack in flavor or some other areas. You have buffets which have a lot of food but most of the times the quality is through the floor. And last but not least you have high end places and when it comes to it there is none better than Han Dynasty. I am here to tell you that the food you will get at Han Dynasty is amazing food as you can get anything on the menu and it will be amazing. The Dong Po pork is by and far the BEST thing you will get on this menu and yes this is a bit more expensive than your run of the mill Chinese place but trust me when I tell you it is 100% worth it!

Yelp
HAD TO GIVE A STAR..SHOULD HAVE ZERO..This has been our go-to Chinese since moving from Indy three yrs ago. Sadly, our last order had not one, but 2 hairs in the fried rice. When I called for a refund, not only did the manager give me static and demand a photo, he only agreed to give me a credit for half the cost of the fried rice. After explaining the whole order was unedible, as we added the rice to our entrees, I requested a full credit. He finally agreed to credit the $35. Still waiting. SO DISAPPOINTED IN QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. Having been in food for years ourselves, this is the experience that will make us NEVER return, even if you we the last Asian restaurant in FT. Wayne. Sad...

Debbie E.

Yelp
We had the best Chinese food we've ever had at Han Dynasty last weekend. The egg rolls were incredibly fresh and tasty. The hot chili oil chicken was amazing! It was tender and flavorful. We've eaten Chinese food all over the country and trust me- this is a hidden gem.

Yelp
The place operates like a well oiled machine: quick turnaround on a busy Sunday afternoon. The place is clean, portions are good sized and flavorful, and the soup with the meal is a nice touch. Not a change-your-life meal, but solid enough to do the job for any connoisseur of Chinese food.

Yelp
Delicious! Large portions. Never had a bad meal. Easy to do carry out orders. Nice to deal with. Clean. Pretty interior.
google avatar

Corey F.

Yelp
Honestly, this was the best thing I had in the state of Indiana after a week of staying there. Still 3/10 for "Chinese" food

Kevin B.

Yelp
So disappointing to go to a restaurant that has an almost 5 star review and to receive pre-made store bought pot stickers. I reviewed the pictures on yelp and all the photos show hand made potstickers.

Yelp
The ambiance is lovely here. My husband and I came in on our way home to dine-in last night and it was very nice. It's not too small but it had a nice calmness too it even with a few tables sat. The food was delicious as always, the first time we ate the food it was take-out. My only criticism was the Hot and Sour soup seemed off.

Jerry M.

Yelp
Good food and good service We met as a group and had a great time. I like the sweet and sour soup

Gabriella D.

Yelp
the food was delicious, i ordered the crab Rangoons, wonton soup, and the seseme chicken. it was fantastic. the presentation was beautiful and the portions were large so we had plenty to take home! Everything came out relatively quickly except for the sesame chicken which the waitress accidentally forgot about but as soon as she noticed the error it was out in less than a minute. our waitress was super patient and kind to us and came to check on us frequently. The whole vibe of the place was nice and calm and there were pretty decorations all over :) Would definitely recommend

Yelp
Delicious food every time we come, we are never disappointed. Han dynasty has become our go to spot in town whenever we are hungry for Chinese.
google avatar

Jim J.

Yelp
I stopped in for lunch. I had the sweet and sour chicken. It was excellent and it was prepared exactly like I like it. Alot of places don't put the Pineapple or the vegetables in. I definitely recommend han dynasty.

Yelp
We were there on Nov. 16th. Yes four of us from PA, KY and TX. We were "shopping around" for a nice place to have dinner. We stumbled on this place. While I do not recall the items each of us ordered, I recall I ordered vegetable chow mein. It was simply delicious. The wait staff (they might have been owners) were very attentive and knowledgeable. Clean place too! Would recommend, anytime.

Tammy L.

Yelp
It was just ok; nothing over the top. I ordered the orange chicken. I asked a couple of customers leaving what they had and did they like it? They said the orange chicken and yes they liked it. The hot tea was good and nicely served. The hot and sour soup was too spicy for me. The service was very good. The crab rangoon was delicious and beautifully made. I didn't like the egg roll. The restaurant was lacking in ambiance. I went there because of the ratings on yelp and I was disappointed. Our bill before tip was $47.00 for three adults.

Barb B.

Yelp
We went here on a Sunday for a late lunch. My daughter has the sizzling rice soup and devoured it. My husband and I ordered beef and broccoli and cashew chicken. While they were both good-the cashew chicken was superior; outstandingly delicious! We would highly recommend. Good service, great food and we didn't wait very long for our food. We will definitely be coming back.

John A.

Yelp
Food was excellent, service was on point, friendly, and very knowledgeable, ambiance as close as you can get to the orient, without being there. First time dinning in, but have gotten take away many times before.

Joes W.

Yelp
We ordered takeout. Absolutely perfect as always. Delicious. No complaints. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants anywhere. We are lucky to have it in the Fort!

Yelp
We live on the northwest side of the city and usually hit WU's when we're needing a nicer Chinese meal. I've read good things about Han Dynasty and my wife and I finally ventured out Southwest. The decor was nice and I would place it 2nd behind WU's. We were promptly seated on a 75% capacity evening. You could tell they have a very thriving carryout business. The edamame hit the spot along with the warm soup on a chilly evening. Our server was polite and quick to deliver the apps and drinks. I had the Mongolian Triple dish and would order that again with no questions asked. Full of flavor and different textures! My wife had the Three Cup Chicken and loved the basil flavor. We found a new Chinese restaurant in the city and will continue to support them based on our first visit.

Yelp
My two friends and I were in town for some tattoo appointments and decided on a whim (and through recommendations) to come here for dinner. I thought the menu looked great. It was a bit expensive but I am always willing to pay top dollar for good food. We were most interested in the different dim sum that they had- I'd never tried dim sum before! I also had my eye on the crispy chicken, which was apparently a very popular menu item. We were seated as soon as we walked in. The restaurant was quiet and the decor was very upscale. Our waitress was an extremely sweet lady. We ordered a round of waters and proceeded to place our food order: fried dumplings, fried shrimp, white rice, crispy chicken with white rice, barbecue steamed pork buns, custard egg buns, and sweet and sour chicken with white rice. I got to try a little bit of everything. As a person who is basically in love with American Style Chinese food, I give this place a 20/10. The crispy chicken (which was the dish I ordered for myself) and the custard egg buns were my absolute favorites. The crispy chicken was sweet and vinegary and of course perfectly crispy! The white rice was the perfect compliment. The custard egg buns were basically steamed buns with custard inside made to look like eggs- very cute and delicious! I wish I lived closer because I'd definitely be eating here all of the time. Thanks for an unforgettable evening, Han Dynasty! If I'm ever in town again I'll be sure to stop by!

Yelp
Best wonton soup on EARTH. Gen Tso chicken is the best I've ever had also!!! Very pretty inside.

amanda v.

Yelp
Great food reasonably priced. Good service. They have great mooshoo which is hard to find.

John Z.

Yelp
Very good food, nice decor, reasonable pricing. Speed of service acceptable. We had crab rangoons -just shy of great. Kung pao chicken --very good. General Tso shrimp -excellent -- not sickly sweet like so many places, and the shrimp was cooked very well.

James A.

Yelp
I picked up a takeout. Service is fine. The problem is that restaurants are including less protein and more fillers while charging more. This includes other restaurants as well. If you are dinning in here, I think you will be pleased.

Sandra C.

Yelp
Hot and sour soup was delicious. Lunch special plenty of food. Excellent service. We will return.
google avatar

Holli K.

Yelp
I don't think I've ever had a bad meal from the Han Dynasty. Everything is cooked well and they even other gluten free options for customers. My husband loves the general Tso's chicken and I always switch up my meal, but I think the Dong Po Pork is my favorite. They also have the best hot and sour soup in town. I like that they offer dim sum options during the week but I wish they had a special dim sum day. But anything you get from here will be enjoyable!

Kiera E.

Yelp
Great food and friendly service! Loved the hot tea option to have with our meal! I ordered the Mongolian Triple and it was delicious with a hint of smoky flavor. Will definitely go back again!

Yelp
We got to the restaurant before the Christmas Eve rush. As i was standing there taking off my coat waiting for the rest of my family to get to the corner table by the kitchen, Jimmy wanted to know quite rudely what I wanted to drink, almost demanding. We were a total of 4. Plenty of tables and booths when we arrived and I asked to not sit where we were placed, ignored. Our drinks were served then we were forgotten about for quite awhile. Jimmy came out and waited on tables that were there after us. His service was rushed, the dishes basically slammed down in the table and then he moved quickly on before we could ask for mustard, hot oil or a refill. We asked other servers and for the missing rice 5 times, yes 5. My dinner was ice cold before my rice was delivered, the egg roll was cold because we didn't get nor were we asked if there was anything needed like the condiments. Our family dinner came at separate times with long intervals which was unacceptable, all the other dinners came out at the same time. The server was hurried and rude when he decided to even come to our table ignoring our hand gestures or trying stop him to talk to him. At 5pm we were told they were out of hot sour soup, heard him tell others no saki ,etc he was more worried about getting the paid tabs off of other tables than waiting on us. We had him last year also and had the same god awful ruder service. You have to ask multiple people 5 times for the rest of your dinner? none of us will return here again which is too bad because the food was good this visit unlike other times. We met people outside who had carryout and were told their food was ready, but their orders were actually cancelled by the restaurant. I didn't want to leave a tip it wasn't deserved or pay for my cold dinner, but being Christmas, I left a smaller one than usual.

Yelp
Restaurant Review On one of my half days off, I was able to get their lunch special which includes an entree, fried or white rice, veg egg roll, crab rangoon, and a soup. The price is okay in the medium range. Food was ready for pick up in 15 minutes after order which was great. I would agree with other reviewers that the restaurant has great decor and seems very clean. I ended up getting the orange chicken and my wife got the chow mein. The orange chicken was mediocre with heavy breading and small chicken pieces. The sauce was also just okay, IMHO I feel panda express orange chicken is better tasting with more meat and a better sauce. I did enjoy the hot and sour soup, but the egg roll and crab rangoon were only serviceable. The other dish of chow mein was beyond bizzarre. I should have questioned why they asked what fried rice I would like with this dish. Normally chow mein is a pan-fried noodle dish served with protein. Their version was fried pieces of noodle in a bag that you can pour on a mix of vegetables and protein with a brown or white sauce. Two thumbs down on this dish. Overall I can't say that I will crave the food here, however on a positive note the service was nice and friendly.

Angela M.

Yelp
I remember when I was SUPER sick. I called in some hot and sour soup. I sounded awful. My husband went to pick it up and the lady asked if I was ok. She could tell I was sick. She was concerned. So sweet! I wasn't a fan of that soup until I tried theirs.
google avatar

Steve H.

Yelp
Ordered carry out here today. Picked it up ten minutes later. The order was packaged well and secure. When I got home the egg drop soup and fried rice was still warm and my wife gave it two thumbs up! My dinner which included egg rolls, fried chicken, Crab Rangoon, and tempura shrimp was delicious. The cashier was pleasant and efficient. This was my first experience with this restaurant. Will return!!
google avatar

Jenn B.

Yelp
Such a great find! Thank you prior Yelpers for the reviews. Such a cute place. Staff was fantastic, very friendly. Portions were great, and reasonable prices. The lunches come with soup or salad (highly recommend the salad that comes with a sweet ginger dressing!), rice, egg roll AND Rangoon. Very accommodating to make any dish substituted with tofu. The ginger tofu was awesome. It was recommended by the waiter, and probably will be my new go to. Will definitely return.

Mark C.

Yelp
Nice portions and food is consistently good. I normally get carry out while at work. I have not dined in.
google avatar

Heather S.

Yelp
I wish I lived closer as I would go there much more often. Their hot and sour soup is by far my favorite in town. Services has always been welcoming and friendly. Try some of the unique dishes, they are delicious. I don't understand people's complaints on the size of their lunch portions. They are perfect for lunch with no leftovers. I still left full.

Kayla G.

Yelp
I've tried every Chinese restaurant in Fort Wayne since moving here 12 years ago in hopes that I'd find something even remotely close to my favorite restaurant from back home. No where comes close to being as good as Han Dynasty!
google avatar

Clint M.

Yelp
The food was good the delivery was on time but I expected a lot more food considering the price of each item. $16 for some chicken fried rice??? When I initially seen the price I assumed that it had to be a very large portion. Nope, just a regular order that I would pay half that price for at most places. The salt and pepper chicken wings were good but again small wings. I would not order there again personally

Camille H.

Yelp
DELICIOUS food & wonderful service each time I've been there! Carryout orders are always correct!
google avatar

Stanley B.

Yelp
Amanzing food and the staff, is always so nice and friendly. Seriously a great experience. Our waiter was a tall man and was absolutely perfect. Can not wait to go again
google avatar

Todd M.

Yelp
Good, reliable Chinese cuisine. We get Han Dynasty about 2-3x a month, and then have it as many times for lunch with leftovers. Portions are large enough to share, prices reasonable. Go-to's include: sesame chicken, pork or chicken lo mein, spring rolls, crab rangoon. Other favorites at our house: sweet and sour chicken, beef with broccoli (add water chestnuts). Worth noting - when Han Dynasty opened, we had another Chinese spot. Now HD is our Chinese spot.
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
Very good Chinese food made with high quality ingredients. You can eat in or carry out or get it delivered. Always hot and good.
google avatar

Hazeline P.

Yelp
We came here due to the good reviews but it was such a disappointment. My dish was remade 3 times (1st remake, noodles too dry, second remake, dish was way too spicy and I can eat spicy, 3rd remake, dish too salty) and on the 4th which was a totally different dish that the owner offered to remake and it was also bad so I just told the waiter to give me a box so I can go home and doctor it up myself. He laughed. After all these remake, the owner had the audacity to ask me to pay for my food which I was never happy with. The dim sum tasted like they were frozen from a freezer and not freshly made. Worst part was they were ridiculously expensive!!! We will never come back.
google avatar

April H.

Yelp
Good customer service and great food! If you ask for it very spicy they make it very spicy ! Love that they can make superb Kung Po Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Our go to place.
google avatar

Vincent L.

Yelp
Best American Chinese food I had so far. The lunch menu is a good deal. All the items are under $10. Dishes are delicious, not too salty or msg like many Chinese restaurant out there. Portions are big and you can always get extra rice. I always stop by for lunch if I am in town. Highly recommend it for lunch, I haven't try dinner yet.
google avatar

Alex S.

Yelp
Probably the best Chinese food in Fort Wayne. Great hot ND sour soup, orange chicken. General tso chicken, crab Rangoon
