Vibes. Foods great. Music is fun, which you can contribute to. Staff and clientele are friendly and chill. Burrito was spicy 🥵 but delicious. Teriyaki pineapple chicken sandwich something was good. Chili cheese burger was great. Bacon avocado burger was good! They got fries and homemade potato chips I think, and they have sweet potato fries 👌— and the staff is attentive, the guy offered me ranch before I thought of it. I’m sure other stuff is great. Intend to continue to go more!

Google
Small sports bar serving cold beers on tap and stiff drinks. Tiny kitchen right in the bar area cranking out delicious burgers. This place is not fancy, but man I felt comfy!

Tito M.

Google
Cool local dive bar, you can’t miss it there is huge plane on location. It is a packers bar so tread lightly when it comes to rooting for an NFL team. TVs everywhere but the parking lot is small so uber it.

Sarah M.

Google
If you are unlucky enough to be a woman that comes here when the tall blond “bartender” is working, prepare yourself. She’s incredibly rude and dismissive. She will barely acknowledge you, and seems to be more preoccupied with getting back to the bar to flirt with whatever guy happens to be sitting there. This is the third time I have been here when she is working, and as good as the tacos are, I won’t be returning again. (By the way, the young busser was so sweet) It’s not that hard to just be nice to patrons who are trying to have dinner. I live around the corner - I would rather go anywhere else sadly.

Polina E.

Google
This is what you get for $9+ tax / tip. Bad service too. Wine was very tasteless

Joe C.

Google
This place has been there for a very long time. We lived diagonally across the street from it in 1970. My father used to play Shuffleboard there. Food was always good and still is. It's not very spacious, but it has plenty of seating, including counter, and outdoor seating. There's plenty to look at too! Memorabilia everywhere. TVs are plentiful for viewing sports and such as well as having the latest in music kiosk/jukebox (TouchTunes I believe) ready for the patrons. Very comfortable with an excellent staff!

Nick D.

Google
Setup is pretty nice during Covid. Multiple TVs outside. Food is a lock, burgers and cheesesteak are gold staples. Servers can get caught in the weeds, so order an extra beer when asked. More insta @fitnfatty

Google
Great food! But the waitress was MIA for the majority of the time we were there. The only reason it's 4 stars is because the cook took our order cooked our food and brought it out. He rocked.

Yelp
Hazy cold glassware 10/10. The food is surprisingly, really good. I tried the tacos/salad. 10/10 service is what you expect for a friendly neighborhood bar. I would say it's time to up the decor but then again I would go back and some the way it is

Yelp
My son is a huge Green Bay Packers fan so when we were making plans to watch the game, he choose to come to "The Hanger". When we pulled up, the parking lot in front of the bar was packed with people [the Rams had just finished their game]. We sat outside and ordered the Loaded fries and a couple of beers. The fries were very good and was their Pizza Parlor ale. It was a cold night and eventually we worked our way inside where a very nice couple allowed us to share their table. Inside the vibe was even better as the game progressed. This is undoubtedly a Packers bar but there were were a couple of Bears fans. Even through the game was between the Packers and the Bears, one of the oldest rivalries in football, everyone behaved very well. Some ribbing but respectful and fun. When the Bears came back and won, there were no mean or bad behavior. We also ordered a veggie tray and shared a Philly cheesesteak. Everything was really good and the service was excellent.

Yelp
We love this place. It's definitely got a dive bar vibe, so it's not a fancy eating out experience by any means. But the servers are friendly, the prices are fair, the beers are tasty, and that kitchen is magical. The diversity they offer, and the quality of all dishes, that can come from such a tiny little kitchen tucked away in the corner, will never cease to amaze me. Their Philly cheesesteak is one of our favorites, and everything else we've tried we also love, but that Philly is what keeps bringing us back. Hitting them up late on a Friday after pickleball is the best way to end a week.

Yelp
Five Glorious Stars for The Hangar Inn! I moved to Manhattan Beach when I was 11 years old, and like most locals, I remember that plane. You know the one -- the unmistakable tail of a Cessna poking through the roof, like some mysterious relic of a daredevil stunt. I asked my parents about it and was immediately told, "That's just a bar. Not for you." So for 50 years, I walked or drove past The Hangar Inn without ever stepping inside. Fast forward to now -- my wife and I decided to stop in for a quick beer before a visit to my parents (you know, one of those visits that practically requires a little liquid courage). And just like that, I was smitten. My only regret? That I hadn't discovered this place decades ago. The Hangar Inn is not trying to impress you with fake dive aesthetics or corporate-manufactured charm. This place has earned its patina honestly -- over 60 years of character baked into every inch of its walls. No windows, no nonsense, just a good old-fashioned beer-and-wine bar that's as real as they come. The patio -- born out of necessity during the pandemic -- has become a perfect little oasis out front. Now let's talk about what really surprised me: the food. This humble little kitchen tucked at the end of the bar churns out some of the best damn food in the South Bay. I'm talking hand-cut chips, beautifully grilled quesadillas, and hot dogs loaded with perfectly blistered peppers and onions. The cooks aren't flashy -- they're talented. I'd put their work up against any trendy gastropub, and they'd win hands-down on flavor and heart. Since that first visit, my wife and I have become regulars. We've never had a bad experience. The Hangar Inn feels like home -- the kind of place you hope still exists in a world of polished trends and Instagrammable nonsense. It's not a speakeasy, it's not a concept bar, and thank God for that. It's just The Hangar -- real, unpretentious, and absolutely awesome. If you're in South Orange County, good luck finding something this authentic. Trust me, I've looked.

Yelp
Let me just start by saying that I absolutely loved this place. Came here to hang out with an old friend of my from business school, as this is his local watering hole. The waitresses are the friendliest I've ever met at any bar, in any State, in any Country. While we had intended to have drinks here, we ended up ordering a LOT of food - I customized my nachos to skip all the non-vegetarian items (I'm a lacto-vegetarian), and it was absolutely delicious! Also, quite filling, which made it difficult to eat the veggie burger I had also ordered. I would return here in a heartbeat.

Yelp
The Hangar is a great spot. Awesome crowd. Awesome service. Awesome food. All the girls are very attentive. You can literally see the men cooking your food right up there by the bar. The place has multiple televisions, all types of sports fans. Prices are decent, the amount of food they give is very generous. It's a bar but it's also very family oriented many people bring kids, there are outside patios. Dog friendly as well. If you haven't been you are missing out.

Yelp
This bar is great for sports viewing. There's plenty of TV's and even two TV's outside. The outside seating sports tv volume isn't that great for sports viewing because there's also cars going thru the busy Aviation blvd. So it's nice to be out in the sun to have a drink nad a bite but not so great for spectating sports outside. Their draft beer menu is ok, their food is also ok. I ordered the western burger with tater tots and my friend ordered the wings. The food took quite a minute to come out which is fine if you're not starving and just casually watching the sports and drinking. The burger was a little bit overdone and the tater tots were a bit too well done. It wasn't bad but it wasn't the best. The staff was super nice and attentive and able to take our orders and made sure to check in on us frequently.

Yelp
Beer and wine only with grumpy bartenders! Outdoor patio on a hill that is super UNCOMFY. Why are the bartenders so grumpy? I don't get the attitude it's exhausting and I stopped going because as pretty as you are, if you can't wear a smile I'm spending my damn money elsewhere. One star or less for service. One star for the decent cheesesteak. Everything else about this place sucks to high heaven.

Yelp
Local bar with solid bar food and great service and ambiance. Friendly staff makes it worth it!

Yelp
Love this place! Food is great and the service can't be beat! Twee was our server and she is so sweet and attentive and always has a smile on her face! They usually have games on the TV and the place is always busy, which tells you that they got it going on! Come check it out for yourself ;-)

Yelp
We had breakfast here for the first time, the food was good. Our server was very nice. We are definitely coming back.

Yelp
The Hangar is such an killer sports bar! But it's more than just a sports bar. The ambianceand energy is addicting. The food is absolutely incredible! Every dish on the menu is really spectacular and tastes like a grandma's recipe. Lots of veggie options too! And the staff is so nice and accommodating and so fun. Thuy and all the other bartenders and servers are just so sweet and love rooting for the Packers. Even if you're not a Packers fan, the patrons and staff are still super nice. Trust me! I'm a Cowboys fan and they still treat me like family. And I'm not even a regular. If you're looking for a down home type bar to watch sports or just to eat and need a welcoming atmospheric then The Hangar is a must!!

Yelp
Awesome Cheesesteak, amazing service, accepting locals, pretty ladies! What more do you want. I'll be back.

Darvin M.

Yelp
Chef Fernando cooked me the best steak and eggs I've ever had, the salsa was on point and the potatoes where crispy and had carmelized onions, something I've never had... overall they were friendly and welcoming. The bar is a vibe highly recommend you visit it's a real cool ambiance.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a good spot to eat at, highlighted by great service. The food is delicious and their fries are fresh cut, which is an amazing find in a world where most restaurants use frozen fries to serve. I'd recommend this place and will come back to try other things on their menu. Parking is easy on the streets, their private parking lot seems harder to navigate in and out of speces as well as to merging into the street (Aviation Blvd), so you probably would be well advised to park on Aviation or a side street.

Yelp
Had to review The Hangar Inn after catching some football games recently. So 1st off ,the atmosphere is so welcoming & energetic that i couldn't help but have a great time! secondly, the service was phenomenal with My server Thuy checking in on me & making sure i always had a cold beer right around the corner waiting!(all around she was just an absolute pleasure !) Then to top it all off, the food I had, no lie, was fantastic! (had myself a breakfast sandwich that alone makes the hanger inn a place i will revisit as often as possible ) I'd highly recommend The Hangar Inn to any & all who want a good time with good people.

Yelp
I came here with two close friends after golf at Alondra. They go there often and this was my first time. We sat outside and relaxed. The beers hit the spot. I ordered the special chili verde burrito and my friends split the Philly cheese steak sandwich which is large. My burrito was excellent. It was tasty and delicious. The Philly cheese steak sandwich looked really yummy. I wish that I didn't live 30 miles away or I would be here often. I will remember to find it the next time that I am in the area and hung.

Yelp
Love this neighborhood dive- perfect for relaxing outside. Friendly service. Amazing veggie burger!
google avatar

Yelp
Best bar in town. Best burger in the U.S.A. Highly recommended. That is all I wanted to say, but the review requires 85 characters, so I will add that the owners are wonderful locals, the cooks are talented and friendly, and the staff are amazing. I have been going here for 25 years, and I will hate moving away, because this place makes it worth living here. Thanks!!!
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years! Didn't matter if it was for lunch or drink. These guys knew what to do. I've even come here with the kids during the day. I'd highly recommend them! I'd also recommend the chicken jalapeño quesadilla or the bacon avocado cheese burger and house chips, also a drink to relax is always nice!

KC M.

Yelp
Definitely a dive bar. Fairly small selection of beers on tap. The nachos were cold, with the cheese in big, partially melted clumps.

James F.

Yelp
The food is surprisingly excellent! Always a very attentive and friendly staff. The clientele is good vibes. A lot of middle-aged guys who grew up in the neighborhood. Quite a few 20 something engineer types that live nearby. Never had a bad time there. Lots of TVs for sports.
google avatar

Kyle K.

Yelp
I will start out by saying that I have never been to Philadelphia and have no idea what a "traditional" cheesesteak tastes like. Guess what?.....don't care....because whatever this place is serving as a cheesesteak is awesome and tastes incredible. It comes out so hot it will burn your mouth, but it is so tasty I just keep eating it and will worry about the numerous mouth burns later. They also serve house made chips with the sandwich just to fill up the plate, but I swear they are some of the best chips I have ever had, light and crispy, just don't forget the ranch for dipping. You know what else? They have Coors original on tap and in the grenade bottles!!!! This is a dive bar and probably not meant for kids, but my son absolutely loves the cheesesteak as well, and they always will put his favorite team on the TV. Don't judge me too hard here, but the bartenders are pretty easy on the eyes too and are very friendly. Bathrooms are terrible, but ya know neighborhood watering hole.

James L.

Yelp
The service is always excellent. But if the partner-owner-operator can go around to the bar helping himself etc - then he should inspect the restroom(s) for some semblance of cleanliness and hygiene...

Ben G.

Yelp
The only problem I had with this place is that they have a veggie burger on the menu and bring you an impossible burger
google avatar

Toshi I.

Yelp
#buysmall #Takeout Came back for breakfast with the Hubs. A very different vibe. Still laid-back and serving beer... EARLY! Da Hubs ordered the Philly Steak Omelet which turns out is a popular menu item. Oh My Yum. I snuck at taste test. He loved it and said he even liked it more as an omelet than a sandwich. I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich with my eggs prepped over easy rather than scrambled. I was a little self-conscious of this preference and the lovely server didn't think it was weird and said, I'll need extra napkins. She was so chill and very personable. The sandwich was tasty and hit the spot. (I rarely order coffee at diners or breakfast places and didn't here either as I prefer my coffee strong.) This is a the kind of place you come as you are. No frills and no judgement. Flip flops, short and just rolled out of bed and walked over. Hung over, overslept, that's ok. Luckily, we arrived before 9 am before Sunday football. So this is the place for locals here and those who want to down beers and watch football. With outdoor dining shut down, consider take out. Bummer we can't hang and dine al fresco for a while. A few parking spaces but never had a problem parking here.

Stephen P.

Yelp
Great service and quick food. Perfect for after a long Friday Night . Service is quick and friendly.

Yelp
This is a total locals place, it's older, serves ok food and the beer is ice cold!!! The service was ok...but when I asked for a local teams game to be turned on, and was given a look and then was offered the two lamest TVs there (above the door and down at the other end of the bar (where there was no seating available!!) the TV's seemed to be steaming the game I asked for and it was constantly pixelated... mean while the Motocross and baseball was crystal clear on other 4 TVs. Anyways, my buddy and I ended up leaving after 15 minutes and 1 beer... so disappointing after all these years of the Hanger that it makes me sad..so we went to a great new place on Artesia Blvd. (lobster guys) and spent over $100 there instead.

E S.

Yelp
The Hangar is AMAZING ! It has it all.. The history... the staff, Bella and Twee and more. They've got an excellent beer selection... And the food ! Off the chain. Everything is made fresh and you can tell. It's all delicious. I go there as much h as I can. Can't get enough !

Kevin A.

Yelp
What a terrific staff! Greeted with big smiles and made to feel welcomed and appreciated throughout our visit. Really fun place to watch football, eat a tasty breakfast and have some brews. It's got an intentional dive bar vibe with cool stuff on the walls. Not real impressive from the outside, but don't judge a book by its cover. This is a place that understands great customer service!
google avatar

gs h.

Yelp
A great neighborhood dive bar, with the kitchen that stays open quite late. They have a different special every night priced very very reasonably. Decent fish and chips, and the best cheeseburger in town. The cheeseburger comes with either freshly made fries or, House made potato chips cooked to order All for $12- my personal favorite is the bacon/Swiss/avocado burger, add Ortega chili- outstanding!
google avatar

Laurie P.

Yelp
Me & my friend Meredith visited The Hangar Inn & had the most amazing street tacos! The carnitas was crunchy & yummylicious. The ambiance was casual & cool, with a family friendly vibe, a newborn was even welcome. Great service, great prices, great breakfast, lunch & dinner menu with daily specials. No hard liquor but a variety of beer & wine choices. Love this place, stop by & say hiyee to my lovely beauty Thuy when you're in the neighborhood, she is da best!!!
google avatar

Giovanni M.

Yelp
Great vibes Underrated Great food Great beer Great people Everything is great I love it

Yelp
The wings here are top notch and the folks working here are all super nice. Most of the menu is homemade except a few items. I will be back.

Yelp
Good service bartender is chill. If ur a packers fan you'd love it here. Even if not it's a great football/sports setup

Ann P.

Yelp
Great Green Bay Packers bar. The food is so amazingly good and consistent, I haven't had anything that was not really good. They also serve breakfast which was a nice surprise.

Danielli C.

Yelp
Great bartender and awesome food. Highly recommend Philly cheesesteak sandwich and fish tacos

Alejandra S.

Yelp
Best breakfast burritos! Green salsa is tasty and if you want more heat, ask for their spicy red.

Yelp
Best steak and cheese I've had in LA. Classic dive kinda place with good food, totally laid back.
google avatar

Debi W.

Yelp
Saturday night at 11:43 pm chairs up on bar... looked closed I didn't expect to have such a hard time finding late night eats in LA.
google avatar

Patrick L.

Yelp
Fun spot. I stopped in for after drinks, drinks one Saturday night. I was surprised to find it was a beer bar - no hard booze. Sat outside (yup, during Covid) and had fun drinking with my crew. Lost a star due to the horrific urine-soaked men's restroom (had to hold my breath during and throw away my shoes after I exited the stink-filled outhouse.) 4 stars, and dudes, if you have to take a whiz, you've been warned!

Wendy R.

Yelp
I have been going here for 7 years and it's the bomb! I'm a foodie and eat out a lot. As I do exercise 5 times a week, I think I do it mainly because I love eating here once a week! They have the best Western Bacon Cheese Burger! Their fish tacos are to die for! Thursday, they have meatloaf sandwiches that you need to try! On the weekends, you will wait 20-30 minutes for your food, so have a beer ! The owner is amazing, and so are his cooks and staff! The pull pork sandwich is great! I can literally keep going but I need to head out to watch the Colombia vs. Argentina game. Shame on me taking so long to post! Anyway, a great sports bar!
google avatar

Stan B.

Yelp
The service kills anything that could possibly be good about the place. Cassie was terrible. She spent all the time talking to a couple people?, playing with their hair we tried to order more drinks but she walked away and never brought anything.

Nomadic T.

Yelp
Was in Torrence for a week. I like to try out local bars when I'm traveling. Been in this area several times but first time seeing this spot. Nice beer selection of cold beers, really liked the Cali Squeeze. Dive bar feel but cool atmosphere. Had the cheessteak which was really good with their house made chips, also tasty. Enjoyed it so much, came back to watch football Sunday morning. Had the breakfast burrito which was amazing. Deserved a five but one of the bartenders on Sunday morning, younger woman with a red hat wouldn't acknowledge me, take an order, nothing, was weird. The other woman, a bit older was great though. Would definitely go back when in the area.

J H.

Yelp
Best Philly Cheesesteak I've ever had. Huge portions fun vibe, homemade chips love it
google avatar

Jenni W.

Yelp
Came in one evening for a couple drinks and had pulled pork sliders that were AMAZING. Must come back for the full sandwich. Came back this morning for breakfast and had their version of Mcmuffins, Philly cheesesteak omlette, pancakes, and French toast. All of it was great! Our waitress, Twee was super sweet and very attentive. Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
Best bar food, Philly Cheese Steak is a bomb! Good mix of patrons form bikers to scientists including cowboys! Yippee!
google avatar

Rose P.

Yelp
Support this local friendly neighborhood restaurant bar if only for the amazing couple that owns it now. I met them at Hudson House on Friday and they invited me to go to their place (and gave me $40 card!). Normally I don't go to a beer and wine only restaurant/bar but again, the lovely couple. Also, $40. Lol ... anyway, the food is pretty good and the bartender/servers are extremely friendly and make you feel like a regular your first visit. The soju margarita wasn't bad but of course nothing beats the real thing. They have a tiny parking lot but it's fairly easy to get parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
google avatar

Hector B.

Yelp
Love this place! Local dive bar with super friendly staff. Great selection of beer and their food game is up to par if not better then most local bar spots. Can't go wrong with a burger here. I've had the carnitas tacos as well and they were really good. Parking can be a pain since it's on a aviation. Recommend parking through residential areas. They've upped more seating due to covid so there's space outside. I actually enjoy it more now that I think of it.
