I would rate this place 3 and a half stars! Four of us stopped for lunch on a rainy Saturday afternoon.
The place looks like a large wooden shack from the outside, and the first thing you see inside is a giant bar and the backs of all the people sitting at it. To me, this place has a dark, slightly dingy diner vibe. There was a central seating area, and then on the periphery of the restaurant near the windows was another seating area.
The food took a long time to come out, and we had 2 servers so it was hard to know who to ask for help.
Three of us ordered tacos, which came in twos with some crunchy homemade tortilla chips. The shrimps on the tacos were small; the blackened Mahi was a generous large chunk, and the fried fish was over cooked. The corn tortillas were slightly tough, and the slaw was watery so that liquid dripped out of the taco and onto your fingers as you tried to eat. The amount of slaw was a lot, so expect extreme messiness!! My daughter got the Panko -crusted mahi which came with mashed potatoes and large chunks of cooked zucchini and carrots. My daughter said the potatoes were a little watery too, but the fish was great.
The couple sitting near us had a burger with a stack of giant onion rings. My husband couldn't help from asking them about their food, and they seemed happy.
Overall, some hits and some misses, but the seafood was good overall.
