How to Plan the Perfect Trip to Copenhagen

Nice idea if you have an hour to kill in the area. Small place, can get crowded easily as most exhibits are statistics or text that people need to stop by. Good to photograph, but not overly insightful overall. I'd say a target age is 13-21, for an adult it all felt quite obvious and redundant. I wish it was located in a more spacious venue. Very nice staff and cute merchandise.

It is a small museum with an interesting theme (centred around the Danish concept of 'hygge') that you can easily explore within an hour. There is a video at the end that will take up more time, but it is also accessible online. As others have said, it is reading-intensive with a few videos, physical displays to engage with, and touchscreen interactives that mostly do not work. The research findings related to happiness are visually presented in graphs/charts that offer enriching snapshots that are easilu digestible. While the snippets of information are food for thought (the content is quite varied and relatable), I felt that the museum can do more to tie the information together more cohesively. Most visitors seemed to have been given an oral introduction to the background of the museum by the staff at the entrance but I was simply pointed to the starting panel and advised to follow the arrows, and also did not get to become a 'happiness ambassador' at the end of my visit. Perhaps that experience differs for each visitor. On the whole, it was informative but an average experience and hence, felt somewhat overpriced for what the museum offers.

An absolutely amazing happy place!! They have a fantastic post-it note room, where you can write your happy memories!! We got appointed as Happiness Ambassadors as well! Definitely would recommend! 🌟

The Happiness Museum is absolutely a fantastic spot to hit in Copenhagen! Their desk staff Anna is a lovely person, very patient to visitors with introducing the museum and led them the way to start with. Happiness is obscure to figure out as it could be, or it is easily to find out. You will be able to acquire those elements that constitute happiness, even though for some of those aspects might thought to be irrelevant at first.

An interesting and educational way to spend an hour in Copenhagen, the Happiness Museum is a public presentation of the results of studies by the Institute of Happiness. Every visitor from overseas will want to know the secret of Denmark's "lykke", and this is the best place to achieve that. There are surveys you can complete, graphs of comparative happiness statistics, and an entertaining passage lined with sticky notes where people who have visited the museum discuss the things that make them the most happy. Some are moving and sublime, and some are very amusing.

A wonderful and cozy place to reflect on the topic of happiness. Here is collected an exposition from the Institute for the Study of Happiness, as well as small private notes that provide rich food for thought. The museum begins with the charming smile of the hospitable Anna, so as soon as you enter, you will already be a little happier.

I visited the Museum of Happiness, and although the weather that day was chilly and rainy, it made my heart feel warm and light. It’s such a cozy place filled with interesting facts about people's lives, reminding us that happiness is all around us. It’s even in the simplest of things – we just need to take a closer look❤️✨️
