Where to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in San Diego | Eater San Diego

"Found in Ocean Beach, this Irish pub offers Celtic-inspired dishes as well as bar food favorites. And of course, Guinness is on tap." - Grace Cassidy

It depends when you come. In my experience Steve is awesome. If you are just in for a Guinness and a show this is your place. Update: I came to the bar on Thanksgiving and their thanksgiving dinner was awesome. Well seasoned and the turkey meat was not dry. All and all a great experience for a holiday.

Live Music, Drink’s, Tasty Food, Came To Devour That Authentic Hot Shepherds Pie 🥧 Got that thanksgiving family food taste! Deeeelicious, Recommended by Charlie himself a year ago 🤩🥳

The Harp is my favorite Irish Pub in San Diego. They have great food, awesome staff and live music often. They even have a fireplace to warm up next to on those cold 55 degrees San Diego winter nights.

What a night! Blaze you and your band are amazing!! We stopped in tonight and Pinnacle was here doing their thing. Beautiful to see how many people felt the love and music. It was my birthday along with Father’s Day weekend. We couldn’t have enjoyed it with better people. My kids even got to enjoy the luxury of a live band! Feeling blessed and so happy to experience such talent with my children, as well as a student of Pinnacle’s lead singer! What an inspiration for young music artist out there. Live music in person is something we truly need to appreciate and keep going. We had a blast and made some lasting memories here. Stop by for great vibes and an awesome Saturday night! Thank you to the band for the hard work and energy you put into the night. I hope the love was reciprocated by all. Thank you to The Harp for great drinks, the atmosphere, music, and the arcade games that gave my kids something else to check out and was also apart of our youth growing up. One love and rock on!!

I’ve been in OB forever, but in the past The Harp was never really my go-to spot. It felt depressing when I would walk by. Not that it was bad, it just didn’t feel like my vibe. Then this past summer, everything changed when new ownership breathed fresh life into the place. It’s like they dug deep into a treasure trove of potential and finally unearthed the gold. Now, The Harp has become my home away from home. Before the new owners, I barely even knew The Harp served food. Now today, with their new kitchen staff, the menu is nothing short of phenomenal. I guessing I’ve tried more dishes this past few years than most locals residents, and everything I’ve tried at Yhe Harp has been amazing. Add to that the revival of live music, and music that truly gets the OB vibe, it’s clear these new owners know how to create something special. The staff is top-notch, friendly, welcoming, and perfectly in tune with the laid-back beach energy that makes OB what it is. Just yesterday, I tried their brand new Reuben sandwich, and let me tell you, it’s a homerun. They’ve taken a pub classic and elevated it with care and attention to detail. The rye sourdough bread is perfectly golden and crisp, the corned beef is tender, flavorful, and generously portioned, and the tangy sauerkraut and Russian dressing strike a perfect balance. Melted Swiss cheese ties it all together, adding just the right touch of richness. The house-made fries on the side complement the meal perfectly. Between the incredible food, killer music, cocktails and unbeatable vibe, I’ll definitely be a regular now.

Google
Ya the Harp has all the vibezzzz!!!! Tyson one of the owners is such a cool dude. He makes the spot even better. Drinks are killer and the food rocks. They have live music all the time and it’s a great spot to chill at. Great location to everything in OB. The spot to hang with friends, drink, listen to music and eat.

Carmen L.

Google
Holly is an amazing bartender with an outstanding knowledge of cocktails and beer knowledge. I feel like beer knowledge is especially important in San Diego. I had the burger, the Philly cheese steak, and the Corned beef egg rolls (different times) to eat so far. Everything was so amazing and the customer service was so great! I can't wait to come back again! PS: crispen is the coolest door guy I've ever met!

Francisca C.

Google
The atmosphere in the bar is always lively, with plenty of friendly faces ready for a chat. The music selection is great, often featuring traditional tunes that get your toes tapping. You can always find a decent pint of Guinness and other classic drinks on tap. It's a comfortable spot to relax with friends or enjoy a solo night out. Overall, it's a fantastic place to experience for the music, food, local peeps and best service from the bartenders!

Yelp
Amazing bar for music and easy bar food. Great crowd and great servers. Fish and chips and wings are stellar. Weekday happy hour half off draft beers. GO BIRDS

Yelp
THE HARP @ OCEAN BACH Parking is available on the street only! My friends and I arrived around 9:30 PM, and there was no line at all. It was already pretty packed inside, lots of people, live music playing, pool tables, and a full bar area. I really loved this Irish pub. They had Guinness, which my boyfriend is absolutely obsessed with, and the overall vibe was great, very lively and energetic. My friends and I ordered a vodka Red Bull, but the service was honestly awful which lost a star for me. There was one guy behind the bar, I didn't catch his name, who completely ignored everyone waiting to order. All he did was clean up cups, and I'm not sure if he was only assigned to that, but he was behind the bar and still didn't help or answer to anyone who even dared to speak. My friend even asked if she could order a drink, and he immediately said "no." We stood there for about 10 minutes with no help until another bartender walked by. He was super nice and finally made our drinks. We got two vodka Red Bulls for $16 total, so about $8 each. They were definitely on the stronger side, which honestly isn't a bad thing if you want to feel it quicker. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest, but it was spacious and located in the corner of the bar. I really liked the live band, they played a lot of great throwbacks. One thing I did notice, though, was that the speakers were placed right next to the area of the band (very close to the dance floor / where customers stand) so it was really loud when walking by. I wish they had positioned them further back or higher up so customers wouldn't have a speaker blasting directly into their ear. Overall, the vibe was great. We didn't have to wait in line, and although it got more crowded later in the night, it still felt fun. There were a lot of older people there, so if you're a college student, just be aware, but even as a college student, I had a great time. I'd definitely come back to try their food next time, it looked really good. I loved the live band and the pool tables, and it's a solid spot for a night out.

Yelp
We had a good time at the Harp on a beautiful, sunny San Diego day. Another couple joined us for a couple of drinks before heading to lunch at Dirty Birds. We sat at the rail that opens up to the sidewalk to enjoy that OB ocean breeze and the people watching. Someone before us had started to build a pyramid made of stacked pool cue chalk. I finished it. Good times. Friendly service from Holly. Cold beer.

Yelp
Been here too many times to count! Started back in 2010 after little league games and the band Full Moon Fever covered Tom Petty on the regular. Back then the food was only ok. Now that it's been sold to some locals the place is alive with music and delicious food! The drinks are prepared by Johnny and Anna - both make a killer old fashioned. We go for the music and good times. If you want a crowd with good vibes and ever better music go to The Harp and hang out for a while. The food come out hot and delicious, served with a smile. They don't really have table service so as long as you don't mind ordering at the bar, this is the place for good music and food.

Daniel S.

Yelp
Awesome food and drinks! Sad that the original owner , Tony, passed away, but the new owners have kept the traditional Irish Pub feel while ramping up the live entertainment and sports viewing opportunities. Holly is THE best bartender in San Diego, but be prepared to uber or walk after she pours a few for you!! Great place to people watch interesting OB folks while sitting at the big open window to Newport ave
google avatar

Barbara J.

Yelp
Hands down the best fish & chips in San Diego that I have had! Fresh battered every order. Holly is a a great bartender. Always smiling and friendly.
google avatar

Nadine B.

Yelp
Cute, cozy neighborhood bar with a stage and live music. They even have a fireplace going when it gets chilly! Great service, but there aren't too many things on the menu, and the online menu is not accurate. So don't go by the website for happy hour times, specials, or the menu. It still is an awesome place to hang out, and no cover for the bands! You gotta love that!

Yelp
My friends and I went to The Harp this past Saturday for St. Patrick's Day, and overall, we had a great time. When we arrived in the early afternoon, there was a good crowd without being too packed, and as expected, it got much busier as the day went on. Given the crowd, it took some time to get drinks, which was totally understandable. However, one experience really put a damper on things. When it was finally my turn to order, I asked for beers for my group and a Moscow Mule for myself. The male bartender immediately expressed his frustratation and even asked if I was serious. As he made the drink, he loudly complained to other customers, making comments like, "Can you believe this girl?" I stayed quiet, thanked him, and handed over my card along with the cash my group had given me. At that point, he had another emotional outburst, asking again if I was serious and telling me he wouldn't be coming back to me. Despite his attitude, I tipped him well, but our group left shortly after because we were pretty shocked by the rudeness. It's a shame because The Harp itself has a fun atmosphere, but this bartender's unprofessionalism really took away from the experience. Would I come back? Maybe--but I'd definitely hope for better service next time. Oh, and for what it's worth, the Moscow Mule was actually great.

Yelp
After being viciously attacked a few years ago I'm still getting messages about other peoples poor experiences. You shouldn't be apart of the Ocean Beach community ! This waitress in the photo ignored me and my group for more than 40 minutes and then when I told her to do better she put her hands on me ! And the bar owner did nothing ! On a regular day the food is garbage and the beer is just as bland and lifeless as the people serving it .. this bar is owned by and hires ableist!

Yelp
F The Harp. I walked out after 1) waiting to be acknowledged while SITTING at the bar 2) finally got the attention of a bartender after they repeatedly avoided eye contact 3) gave bartender my to go food order 3) waited over 30 minutes and still no food 4) inquired (again eye contact avoided) and was told order was being boxed up (not!!) 5) waited another 10 minutes. Still no food. I left. I am what I would consider a regular and recognized by staff. I've always been a proponent of their success, but now my attitude has changed. I would not recommend this place. It's obvious that people such as myself are invisible. Sometimes places forget loyalty when they become popular. That is the Harp. Will I go back? Maybe. But I won't spend money there.

Ryan L.

Yelp
I love this bar! Amazing bands play live here, and the food is great! Good vibes and good times!

Yelp
Always love coming into the Harp. The bar staff is always nice and accommodating and the live music is the icing on the cake. Loving the new menu too! Shepard's Pie and Fish and Chips are fantastic! Even the clientele is cool but that's just what you would expect in the heart of OB. See you soon at The Harp!

Darius A.

Yelp
Great music scene! Try the Harp Tacos- my new favorite. So good. I also like the Chicken Caesar Salad- the marinated chicken is very tasty and the parm is fresh grated. When is bar food time I go for the fries or fried zucchini too! Oh and the eggrolls are delicious.

Yelp
The harp is awesome! Good happy hour and great food. I love when they have live music. This is one of my go to spot in OB. Also dog friendly in the back.

Alan Y.

Yelp
Service sucks. Bartender are slow and surly. Not fun. So many other places to spend money on food and fun.

Yelp
If you haven't been to The Harp Ocean Beach lately you are missing out! Under new ownership, this long time Ocean Beach establishment has changed hands and is a one stop shop for those looking for amazing live music, delicious food and attentive service in a fun safe environment. Swing by The Harp and check out the new vibes, you'll be happy you did! Pro tip: try the corned beef egg rolls!

Yelp
Absolutely disgusting place, worst food on earth. Why even do you even go here .? The fish and chips? Cross the road fresh food available.

Marcus B.

Yelp
San Diego local here. I've been coming to this bar for years, often bringing friends and supporting the space. But after my experience yesterday, I won't be returning. When I arrived, I was stopped at the door by a tall, skinny bouncer who asked why I was coming in. I explained I was going to use the restroom before coming back to meet my friend for drinks. He responded dismissively, saying, "I don't know you" and loudly accused me of trying to use a "public restroom," even though I've been a loyal customer. He spoke to me with hostility and suspicion, in front of others, as if I didn't belong--like I had to prove I was worthy of being there. It didn't stop there. I went next door to the Pacific Shores Cocktail Lounge, and the bartender completely ignored me after I asked for a water, serving everyone around me instead. I walked away from both places feeling unwelcome, disrespected, and othered. It's hard not to feel like this treatment was rooted in bias--whether racial, gender-based, or both. This isn't just about a rude bouncer or bartender--it's about the pattern of who gets questioned, who gets served, and who gets dismissed. I hope this review encourages both staff and management to reflect seriously on how people are being treated at the door and inside.

Yelp
Great food! Free Live Music & friendly staff. Everything I've eaten here has been delicious.

Yelp
Just had the BEST Reuben Sandwich for St. Patty's day lunch and it was DELICIOUS!!!! The fries that came with it were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside which made for a wonderful meal. We ordered a fresh warm pretzel to take home and it came with the yummiest beer cheese to dip it into. The female server was friendly and perky despite the bar being packed by green beer drinking people celebrating 3/17th. I definitely will return again in the near future Thank you HARP for a wonderful lunch

Dani L.

Yelp
Absolutely love this spot...the vibes are great, the food is amazing, all the love for the bartenders and staff... but trying to get any sort of kindness from some guy that looks Italian and keeps messing with my friends and I, is the only downfall. He has been rude to both guests AND his own security staff on numerous occasions, not afraid to call them out and embarrass them (thus making your own staff look inept when they're clearly just doing thier jobs) is just not a good look. Would love to keep coming back, but pretty bummed that a spot with as great of vibes as this keeps someone with so NOT good vibes in charge of the door.
google avatar

Adria S.

Yelp
The new owners have made this such a fun and great bar! Reallllyyyy good food, 2 pool tables, and lots of live music. You can't beat their happy hour. The Harp has become our main spot in OB!
google avatar

joanne W.

Yelp
Euro cup day They were told to get 4 bartenders Not arranged the place to accommodate for large crowds. Should have had one long table in the middle - no holding tables. Communal. Moved the pool tables Put rows of chairs Great place - just need to anticipate and plan .

Nancy P.

Yelp
We all love the Harp! Local business owners who know how to carter to the tourist and locals in a highly desirable town. Food, music, service are great.

Yelp
Love The Harp!!! All the changes recently have really elevated the place and I love coming here more than ever. Great spot to kick it and hear some live music too! The bartender Holly really Makes the place, I honestly Prefer to go when shes bartending... shes just a good vibe and is really good about checking in on my group and I... some bartenders have bad attitudes and crappy customer service but we never worry about that when Holly is working! Had to shout her out. Big up The Harp! Up running and better than ever.

Yelp
I was curious to check out the place now that it's under new ownership since the unexpected passing of the former owner. I didn't expect much from the dive bar but the typically sticky surfaces and questionable bathrooms (which it still had). But then we ordered sliders, a burger with fries and the Caesar salad. And damn those patties were so good, we ordered even more sliders. I later learned that one of the new owners was one of the people behind Hodad's and it all made sense. The Caesar and fries were fine (I wouldn't order again), but the burger was why I'd come back. Also, I saw they have some really cool live music going on and coming up that sound awesome. Overall, I'm glad to see that they kept the OB vibe. I'm looking forward to coming back for more burgers, their live music events, and a game of pool.

Paul V.

Yelp
Solid crew, tried their fish and chips amazing taste great bartenders, they care over here. It feels like cheers (the tv show old one) pool tables and solid bar

Omar N.

Yelp
... they changed the fish and chips. I'm devastated. There used to be a beautiful huge piece of fish and perfect fries.. not too thick not too thin, with delicious slaw(and I'm not a slaw guy). I think they switched to catfish now which comes in three pieces instead of on big beautiful piece of cod.. and the fries are really thin. The batter on the fish is the same and the seasoning on the fries is the same but everything else is way off. I'd pay more for the better fish and fries and if they bring back the slaw. I understand food costs are going up but please for the love of all that is holy bring back the old recipes. It was literally the best fish and chips I've ever had. Don't get me wrong the fish and chips are okay now but it just blends in with all the other fish and chips out there. I'll probably never eat here again since there are a lot of other great options is OB.

Mike G.

Yelp
Ever since the new ownership approximately a year ago , they got rid of all the female bartenders, and now it's just a bunch of rude dudes with hats . Their website very seldomly works so it's hard to tell when a band is playing . The acoustics in this place is not very good as the stage is set up in the wrong direction with low a low ceiling .. The music often sounds way too loud with a lot of distortion as you can hear it walking down the sidewalk . Good place to watch the free UFC on Saturday nights and the food expensive but good .
google avatar

William T.

Yelp
If you find yourself thirsty in OB, consider checking out the Harp, Irish Pub. Classic wooden bar with a very welcoming, warm, and homey atmosphere. Watch the game, meet new friends at the bar, they have a jukebox too. There is plenty of seating indoors for when it's chilly, street facing rail seating for fresh air and people watching and they even have a backyard beer garden. The staff is warm and accommodating. Food is great. Chipotle chicken sandwich is filling and delicious. Comes with plenty of home made ranch. Megan, behind the bar, is quick with a big smile and a cold drink. Treat her well and she'll treat you better! Highly recommend. Slainte!

Richard S.

Yelp
This just changed ownership. They are nice people, the food is great and the drink prices are low. Good luck and I will see you often.

Christina H.

Yelp
Came here to kick off a team event and the team was great. They served everyone quickly and even gave us happy hour prices.

Yelp
Cool spot. I've been a few times for drinks back before covid. Stopped in (out?) today and enjoyed the socially distanced patio under the warmth of a delightful heater. I ordered the reuben since I haven't had one in ages. It was almost flawless. The rye bread was delicious. I'd buy a loaf if a could. Toasted to perfection and not super greasy. The beef was really good, and plentiful. The cabbage kind of tasted like pickles, but it wasn't bad. Everything was going so well until I became confused if I was eating a Reuben or a cheeseburger. What the? Is that? American cheese??? It definitely was. I love cheese so it wasn't a complete fail, but I did learn why most people use Swiss on reubens. With American it was just, weird. I took the other half home and stopped at the store to buy some Swiss to doctor it up tomorrow for lunch. For what it's worth-the yellow American was good cheese. Nice and melty. But it was super weird to me on a Reuben lol. Maybe I'm not Irish enough to appreciate.

Lawrence L.

Yelp
An Irish pub in beachside town. Rustic atmosphere. Bartender cater to locals. A nice place, before you go be aware no tabs. Pay as you go.

Yelp
This review is for the food only, let me preface. This place appears to mostly be a bar and a music venue. I happened to be there on a sleepy Monday night with 2 people at the bar top. Burger week lead me here. For 6$ I got the "harp" burger which was a mix of lamb, beef, and bacon with a sunny side egg on top. With the description of the burger.. I was expecting a lot more and was just left underwhelmed. It was assembled as if I could have done it at home if given the ingredients. There just simply was no wow factor. For instance, the spinach was kind of a weird component. It wasn't sautéed or anything.. just kind of sitting below the patty like it didn't belong. Anyways..at $6 I won't complain, but at the regularly priced $12 ( when it's not burger week) I would be a little upset.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
We came out to support one of our favorite street bands during the Springboard West Band and Brew Crawl. The place was packed when we arrived, and a two-piece band was in full-on performance mode, but we were able to find a space to huddle while we waited for our band to take the stage. Because they were so busy, it was difficult to flag down a bartender to get a couple pints of Guinness. At least they do a Perfect Pour. The bands did the best with the space they were given, though I don't know if the bar typically offers live music. There was a counter that ran along the front of the "stage", and the counter meant the stage was a bit sunken...not so good for acoustics. Still, the band we went out to support killed it that night (as did the first band that was playing when we arrived). It was a fun night because of the music, at least.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
H How could you not love this place? Good vibes, good service and good prices. Their wings are amazing, they have a pool table, a sick back patio, and sometimes live music. Also an awesome spot to watch sports. Overall one of the best spots in OB
google avatar

Mateo M.

Yelp
Came here to try the buger week burger, which is lamb, bacon and beef all ground together. They had a couple deals, $6 for the burger, $9 for burger and fries and $10 for burger and beer. I got the burger and fries. The food service here is a bit lacking, it's definitely more set up for drinks; and we got a look of curiosity when we asked for the menu. This was definitely evident when the burgers came out, then 15 min later the fries came. That being said, I enjoyed the burger. It was greasy, flavorfully and a good balance of flavorful meat with tasty cheese and spinach, on a large bun. The fries were quite good, and came hot and fresh, albiet very late. The burger outside of burger week is actually 13 or 14 bucks, and I don't know if it's worth that price, but at $6 it's not a bad deal.

Yelp
We visited this HORRIBLE Dive Bar the evening of OB Parade. The quality of food and beverages are.below ZERO. Furthermore, as a professional Sommelier, I am always curious about the wines served at these establishments. When I told this young teen bartender I didn't like the wine, she " flipped " ( as they say) informing me " I was cut off" because I was belligerent ( my word). We left for another place on the famous NEWPORT AVE.. Horrible experience:(

Lorenzo S.

Yelp
Hello just wanted you guys to know I was kicked out of that by an older guy at the bar grey beard I live in the neighborhood I have a brain injury that affects my short term memory I have a service dog named Layla whom wich I have been into the bar many times with. Today was a little bit different I came in was chatting with a nice lady at the bar with a dog that clearly wasn't service, anyway I go to order a beer my dog Layla jumped up and put her paws on the bar because she thought he was throwing her a treat and without saying anything he kicked me out of the bar . And before asking me about me service dog he just said she's not a service dog you guys gotta go wich was really rude and weird considering I have been in there multiple times there was a dog at the bar also and I could've just got my beer and went outside but instead he kicked me out didn't even offer for me to sit on the patio

Yelp
[Out-of-Towner Review] Go for the footy, stay for the booze! Well, even though I didn't have any booze, I did munch on fries and we did join the San Diego Tottenham Hotspur local chapter to catch a midweek day game! They didn't disappoint. We've been to a few regional/local chapter locations, but this one, by far was the most welcoming and embracing of new, fellow Spurs fans. Best part, is the owner is a Chelsea fan, but doesn't mind it being the home base of any San Diego-ian Spurs fans! J had a local IPA, which he really enjoyed. L had a soda, she can't go wrong with that. We all shared fries with ranch, to get us through the match. They were great and I'm glad they sent ranch. Their menu was decent and fellow Spurs fans seemed to be enjoying their food. I cannot speak to the food, but I can speak to the atmosphere and the vibe that The Harp gave. Plenty of seating, but style seating, booths, regular tables, high top tables, and booth seating outlook the main street with the windows wide open! Just as any pub-style location you've been too, plenty of beer paraphernalia scoured the walls, alongside plenty of TV's to watch the game. Great time and great vibe!

Yelp
Harp is high above Melodies drift about me Summer approaches. When I was a kid I walked down these streets excited to see the famed Black where they sold the Anarchists Cookbook and other hard to find items. The Harp is pretty easy to spot as there is a big harp where normally you expect a neon sign. Place was emptying out as lunch was ending. Kitchen was really slow. Wish it was summer so I could appreciate the view outside while I was waiting for my food. I ordered the Harp burger. Was salty a bit like Slater's 50/50 burger. I prefer my bacon crispy and on top of the pattie like at Hodad's. Beef, lamb, and bacon combined in a pattie isn't a flavor combination I appreciate. Onion rings were very crunchy and had a nice tasty beer batter. Sadly some of the batter clumped up and there were dough balls on some of the rings. I'd come back again to try other menu items if I had lots of reading material and time...

Yelp
Dangerous environment for children, who have full access to the bar always. Rude establishment; when I was concerned about a small child that was playing with a drunk woman (thought it might be her mom, and driving), I was told to "mind my own business."
google avatar

Lauren T.

Yelp
On the surface, a place like The Harp would be a little to dark and grungy for my taste, but I can't resist a good burger! Thanks to San Diego burger week, I was able to try their signature Harp burger for only five bucks! The half pound seasoned beef and lamb patty was fabu. Due to lamb's typical gamey texture, I'm usually not a fan, but it totally works with this burger. I was also really digging the ciabatta bun. I wish more places would think outside of the bun and go for something more unique like The Harp. The real piece de resistance was the goat cheese and caramelized onions. Who figured out that goat cheese works on burgers? Yum! In review, just get the The Harp burger!

Yelp
Corrinn was absolutely f*ckn phenomenal as our bartender this evening, and we'll be sure to be back whenever we're in town! Good times, and better service, make this a stop if you're around

Yelp
Wow! Way to pull it together!!!! I didn't think I'd ever come into this place again after the last two incidents (one is noted In Last review), but Jeremy outside was just so sweet and obviously on top of things during a crazy weekend that I decided to give it a chance. Robbie was instantly attentive and accommodating and Stephanie was smiling kind and even let me vent about my last time here. The drinks were fast and affordable, the music was great with the live band and the service was amazing!!!!! This crew right now makes me want to return! And a lovely woman outside in smoking section whom is apparently a bartender here, with great fun hair who's also a hairdresser, was so great as a fellow patron and promoter of this place! I even got hair tips! So happy to say this place is now yet Ahab a favorite! Management you should really be proud!!!! Incredible team!

Yelp
Tony runs a great establishment. I had a lot of fun ordering drinks with the bartender ( Demi). She was very entertaining as she gave me a hard time all in fun. Great good. Try the Ruben. The stuffed mushrooms are to die for.

Yelp
Walked to this bar from the Seaside Cliffs. My longtime boyfriend & soulmate just proposed to me and we were looking for a bottle of champagne to celebrate. This was the first place we suspected might be able to pull through and it did! Corrinne the bartender was incredibly sweet and kind to us. They had one bottle of champagne left which worked out perfectly! This little funky bar was so welcoming and chill, we'll be happy to return the next time we're in San Diego. Great dive/pub atmosphere and good company all night. Cheers!
