This hotel has a great location, two restaurants inside, one serves breakfast and lunch (super good food and very friendly helpful staff) and a fancier one with a full service bar and serves dinner (bland food, super attentive friendly staff, not their fault the chef hates salt/flavor). You can get coffee/espresso at either restaurant. Room service is available, which was a wonderful breakfast and prompt. The hotel is in the historic district, and everything is within a half mile flat walk with nice sidewalks that felt safe as kittens. The staff at this hotel is amazing, from the valet parking to the front desk to housekeeping. Beware, valet parking is $50 a night, but we decided it was worth it because street parking is a battle I was not up for on 4th of July weekend. There are lovely balconies at this hotel, make sure you clarify if you want a private balcony, some are not private, and you will have another guess sitting two feet from your chair with nothing really between you. Some rooms are bigger than others, so if that is a priority make it clear, just know, you will sacrifice a private balcony for that extra space. This hotel was one of the quietest stays I have ever had at a hotel. We didn't hear a peep all night and there were tons of rowdy wound up kids there for the Fourth. The only downside was the pillows. If you like down, you are in luck, if you like foam, you would be better off with a rolled up towel than the ones they supply. We will stay here again, I will just bring my own pillow next time, no big deal.

I live in Franklin, and my partner and I decided to grab a drink this past Saturday night. We ended up at The Harpeth and were so glad we did! The bartenders were incredibly kind, the ambiance was perfect—but what truly made the night unforgettable was the live music. Isaac Dillard Ferguson was performing, and he absolutely stole the show. His vocals were incredible, and he brought such great energy to the space. It turned a simple night out into something really special. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for the next time Isaac is playing at The Harpeth—we’ll be back for sure!

My recent stay at The Harpeth Franklin Downtown was truly wonderful! The location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the heart of historic Franklin, making it so easy to walk to all the amazing shops and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful, from the valet to the front desk. They make guests feel welcome! Overall, The Harpeth Franklin Downtown is recommended for anyone visiting Franklin. It offers historic charm, modern comfort, and exceptional service in a prime location. A return visit is anticipated!!

We stayed here for our daughter’s 8th birthday staycation. Bethany and Autumn were our dream team. They went above and beyond to make this such a memorable experience. They put us in a beautiful room overlooking to courtyard, with chocolate chip cookies delivered along with a gift from the gift shop and a handwritten note for her. They even delivered a phone charging cable to my room when I had the wrong usb cord. Their joy, kindness and customer service were all top notch! I am a Franklin local, and their warm southern hospitality represents our sweet town well. I work on 3rd street and definitely plan to pop in for coffee and lunch to say hi to them. Treasure these two…they’re the heart of this place.

Wonderful staff, beautiful hotel and decor, great location, good food and drink. Plus, the guest service is delightful. I had casually mentioned when booking that it was my granddaughter's birthday trip to take her to the American Girl store in Franklin . When we entered our room, there were beautiful balloons and a sweet card for her. Total surprise. WE had visited a few years ago with our older granddaughter, same type of trip. My husband and I have decided to make a return visit... just the two of us. Thank you for a delightful experience.

The service is excellent from the manager greeting you at the door to the registration with Susan making sure your check-in is smooth and hassle free. The room is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The bed is so comfortable. The pillows and linens are superb. The air condition is a real thermostat and extremely quiet. The hotel is within walking distance to the best Franklin has to offer. We travel to Franklin on business 4-5 times a year and always stay at the Harpeth.

Susan and Autumn helped us to celebrate our 60th anniversary. They were so kind and accommodating! Those girls really know how to treat seniors and make them feel special. We enjoyed our beautiful suite and the delicious food. The Harpeth is a luxury hotel and it is in the perfect location to visit Franklin, Tn

This hotel is all class from the second you arrive. The valet gentlemen are very friendly and helpful. Especially Jackson from Texas! Class act. As soon as you walk in you will feel at home and relaxed. Beautiful lobby and bar areas. Friendly check-in staff. ||We had a room with a balcony over the atrium. Beautiful room, huge bathroom and shower. Delightfully decorated. They offer a bottled water refilling station with small bags of ice on each floor. Quiet and peaceful hotel with the charm of Franklin. ||This has become one of our top 5 favorite hotels and we will return often.

Yelp
Great experience! I used the Harpeth for a work meeting in regards to hotel space, dinner, and conference space. Win win win. Everyone loved everything. Space worked lovely. Food was phenomenal, both catered and full restaurant dinner. Kimberly was a doll to work with. I can't wait to book again!

Yelp
Best place to stay in Franklin! Was fortunate to get upgraded to a corner guest room with a large sectional. The room and the bath was very clean, and Ava at guest services was so helpful! Stayed 6 nights, the staff was so friendly, loved the cookies every night. Breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was fabulous.

Yelp
We had a 4 day, 3 night stay at this Hotel and could not have been more pleased. The Hotel is eloquently decorated, very easy to navigate and conveniently located near the center of town. The Hotel is within walking distance to cozy Restaurants and sits near a major civil war battle. The Hotel Staff offers the best customer service I've ever experienced at a Hotel. If you're planning a trip to Nashville then you should seriously consider staying at this property. It's located 25 minutes from downtown Nashville and convenient to all major roadways.

Yelp
It's slipped. Sadly. Possibly a change in management? Front desk staff are disconnected, even the front desk manager couldn't check us in properly. They did not greet, give eye contact, welcome a Diamond member. Dan at the doorway is awesome but valets can't be bothered to greet, pick up newspaper that is blowing around on the front area. Common areas are dirty--for more than 24 hours each elevator had gross orange cracker crumbs--no one bothering to clean. Housekeeping needs attention. Empty box of Kleenex: just left empty, water bottles not refreshed consistently. We were brought this disgusting torn bath mat--why? Really sad. Coffee shop crew is still awesome but hotel GM: better tighten it up. Yuk.

Yelp
My mother and I did a staycation at the Harpeth on Christmas Eve. Even though I live less than a mile from the property and frequent the restaurant often, I've never stayed in one of the rooms. I absolutely loved everything--the bathroom, the balcony, the beds, pillows...everything. Being a Hilton Diamond member it was nice to get a $15 food credit for each my mother and myself. Would absolutely love to go back and have another staycation in the near future. It's nice to escape reality sometimes:)

Yelp
Everyone was so kind, checking in was a breeze. Rooms were tidy and neat. Loved having the balcony. The little cafe downstairs was amazing! We had great coffee, matcha and chicken salad sandwiches from there and everything was perfect!

Yelp
Beautiful hotel with service oriented front desk staff. Great location in Franklin, TN, and a short walk from plenty of restaurants and shops. Rooms are elegant and modern. Housekeeping is excellent. Valet is good. One big turn off and bad vibe was staff in coffee shop who are unpleasant and not welcoming. No smile, no "good morning", no "thank you". When I asked for my coffee, the guy that made it didn't say anything just looked at me like I wasn't there and looked at where it was. I walked over to where it was and picked it up. This young man should not be in hospitality. Management please put out self serve coffee like HGI and rent the space to someone that cares so they don't ruin your big investment.

Yelp
A beautiful Hotel! Rooms are very spacious & clean! Bathroom super spacious as well! Area is adorable! Shops/Cafes. Definitely recommend! Went in the fall, great time!

Yelp
My wife and I spent our first year wedding anniversary at The Harpeth. The stay was only for a night but the service was fantastic and ambiance is beautiful. Susan was a tremendous help at helping me make an important day even more special. She went above and beyond what I had asked of her and I am personally very appreciative of her efforts. Staff was friendly and valet was quick to get my car out. Thank you Harpeth Hotel and thank you Susan.

Yelp
I love the Curio concept that Hilton executed here at this hotel in downtown Franklin. It definitely looks like a fancy hotel from the outside and it is a fancy hotel on the inside. After dinner around the corner - check out O' Be Joyful for burgers - we stopped here for a drink and a quiet spot to talk. We found the drinks and the spot to talk in their lobby, which has plenty of fancy seating and fireplaces. Nearly two hours sitting here and we were not disturbed. It's obviously a hotel with plenty of people coming and going. Very comfortable. [Review 20070 overall - 426 in Tennessee - 1046 of 2023.]

Yelp
Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown Franklin! Walking distance to great shopping, restaurants and bars. Highly recommend

Meg S.

Yelp
We enjoyed Isaac Ferguson playing in the lobby bar. He was incredible. The hotel and lobby are beautiful and to have such an amazing singer as well without having to leave the hotel was so nice.

Vickie C.

Yelp
Staff friendly and clean rooms. Very convenient to shopping a restaurants on all price levels.

Yelp
We have been to The Harpeth Franklin Hotel three times now since April and we love it! Every time the experience is great, the rooms are elegant, clean, and updated with the latest tech. The restrooms are really nice and have everything you need. The room service is amazing! Barbara from room service is always attentive and friendly, she is awesome! The hotel also has a nice and elegant coffee shop that has good coffee and snacks if you're in a hurry and want to sit down and chat. They also have a luxurious restaurant if you want to have great dinner.

Yelp
Super not happy with this business. They didn't help my wife with luggage. Also the noise from our room was horrible..

Yelp
So lovely! I loved everything about my stay at the beautiful Harpeth hotel. The hotel staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, and location is within walking distance to everything in downtown Franklin. My room was set to a perfect crisp 68 degrees upon arrival, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the design finishings were lovely. I can't wait for my next visit!

Yelp
Had an amazing time! The restaurant was lovely! Our room was very nice, the hospitality was A+. We will be back!

Yelp
Front desk team Alexander Bethany and more excellent staff. Access to downtown. Walking distance to everything you need for a great time. Really- Restaurants, great staff, street vendors, clothing stores, book stores, churches, ice cream, coffee shops, bakery's, history, Harpeth River. Make your trip today and tell Alexander and Bethany hello.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel with nice rooms, but if you stay facing the courtyard- it's not peaceful before 10:30pm. You'll hear music from the building across the way. Very quiet after that though. Walls are only somewhat thin- not bad. I could hear my neighbor move around just a tiny bit, but that's it. I would recommend they put sound machines in rooms. Also, if someone says their Keurig is broken in the morning, the immediate response should be 'we will bring you a new one as soon as we can'.. not 'we can bring you a new one if you are staying longer' Otherwise, it's a GREAT hotel.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm sorry. I don't post much but awful service. Felt like pulling teeth and ruining the bartenders day by ordering a drink. And I'm a local bartender. Bad reviews are not my thing but come on. Leave your problems at the door.
google avatar

Yelp
Great experience, would recommend. I had reserved an outdoor balcony room and I liked having that.

Yelp
Absolutely stay here, this is the place full stop! The inside of the hotel smells like a fresh baked cupcake seriously! It is clean and classy. Great location to everything downtown. The restaurant has awesome little breakfast options including the best omelette I have ever had.

Yelp
Loved staying here. Room was amazing, very spacious and clean. Hotel bar was lively. Walkable to all things downtown Franklin. Will definitely be back.

Kim W.

Yelp
Excellent experience. This hotel checks all the boxes. It's spotlessly clean Excellent service Great ambience Conveniently located to walk to all of downtown Franklin. Bar was fun with live entertainment, great bourbon lineup and good wines Breakfast and lattes at McGavock's coffee shop was wonderful. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Rhonda H.

Yelp
Hotel is beautiful but needs a little help!! When we pulled up no one was at the valet stand. We saw the young man walk around the corner pulling leaves off a plant by the coffee shop & walk to us slowly. There was no pep or urgency-sadly just complacency. He was not overly friendly. Another valet walked up shortly after that to help. Most nicer hotels-the valet is sprinting & eager to help. The staff was overall ok but not what you'd expect from such a nice hotel in the heart of Franklin. The bathroom near the restaurant was not well maintained & the toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. The coffee shop staff was pretty friendly but drinks were only so so.

Yelp
Our checking into this hotel was one of the most memorable and personalize that we ever had. You feel welcomed from the first moment to the end. Very cute hotel. Most importantly super clean and perfect location being close to downtown's shops and restaurants. Welcoming and friendly areas to have cocktail or just read one of the many books in the lobby area. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if we do go back to that area I wont think twice to stay there again. We were staying there for one night but ended up adding a night since we enjoyed it so much.

Christy H.

Yelp
Loved! The place is beautiful and location is great! Susan was very helpful. She checked us in and gave us options for parking. We chose to park at the free parking garage on Second Ave. Hotel was very clean. I would stay here again!
google avatar

Brett P.

Yelp
Decided to have an after dinner cocktail or two with out of town friends the other night at their bar as we have been before and loved the vibe. I understand management cant be everywhere at all times but two employees were not on point. The hostess was actively reading a novel as she stood at her podium; holding her book up in the air as she read. One of the waitresses was less than attentive to our table and appeared bothered by our presence. While I understand it was towards closing time, just perform your job until you leave, then be yourself.

Yelp
Great Hotel, with a fantastic Staff! Amazing location. Short walking distance to the Town Square. So why only 1 Star? My Room was on the 4th Floor, diagonal and across from the elevators, yet I could hear the elevator motors run all night long. That was not great, but not horrible. The worst part of my stay at The Harpeth was the broken glass on the carpet in front of the window. It's amazing I didn't cut my feet walking around. It wasn't one or two little shards, it was a dozen pieces with the largest the size of a quarter. The thing that really bothers me is that means that the carpet wasn't vacuumed between guests. Kind of disgusting and unsanitary. And quite honestly it is shocking considering the cost and status of The Harpeth. I'm purchasing a house in the area and was planning to stay there again, and recommend it to friends, but the lack of cleanliness is a bit of an issue.

Yelp
Stayed here twice within the last 6 months... The rooms are nice....The staff needs to pay attention to all guests in the hotel, not a certain segment. This is very blatant at the bar....

Ryan S.

Yelp
Our room with a French door had a bad environmental sensor that prevented the AC from turning on. This was discovered late our first night. While we were offered another room and comped the first night, we preferred to stick it out rather than switch rooms at midnight. The following day it wasn't fixed so we had to switch rooms. Another issue is the breakfast dining options. There are two restaurants. The first stops serving breakfast at 10, and the other doesn't open until 11am for brunch, so in between there is no food service available, which makes zero sense. Even stranger, they have the exact same brunch menu

Yelp
Lovely new hotel in the heart of Downtown Franklin, TN. The lobby is beautifully decorated in grays and tans displaying an understated elegance. My room is a double queen that has been thoughtfully decorated ,again in gray, tan and brown with locally themed artwork. The room has a small balcony that we enjoyed while sharing a bottle of wine. The room is modern, clean and has everything you'll want for a getaway or business trip. There is also a restaurant and bar which we'll be trying tonight. Great place in a fun town. I'll be back!!

Yelp
We had such a wonderful stay at The Harpeth in Franklin. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and our room was very clean. We were able to easily walk to lots of shops and restaurants and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The two restaurants at the hotel were both great. We had dessert and cocktails one night and breakfast the next day. The food, dessert, and drinks were all delicious and our servers both days were very nice! Highly recommend staying at The Harpeth, a fabulous location for both couples and/or a family stay!

John L.

Yelp
This review is for how the hotel handled a bad breakfast issue... they pleasantly listened to the issues/s and without hesitation credited us for the mistake! Great customer service and zero attitude! High 5!!! We all make mistakes, they owned it and fixed it. So refreshing that they didn't blame anyone, just fixed it :-)

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Now we stayed at this hotel (in May) for a family getaway before and had a good experience. We had two rooms and everything was great. So we chose to stay again (07/27/21) because we really needed the good experience. We were traveling back home from picking up my brothers belongs and widow from a hotel he passed away at while traveling down south for work. We where driving for hours on top of grieving. We again got two rooms. One had a refrigerator and one did not. I asked about this and actually asked why the rooms where different (we are gold members) and the woman working the desk informed me not all rooms come with refrigerators. What? Since when? One of our two rooms had one and both rooms at our last stay there had them. Ok.. so we go to bed and really looking forward to sort of rest and process everything we're going through and 6AM we are awoken by a truck and then a terrible noise that proceeded to go on for 35 minutes..I called the front desk and she said all she could do was offer me breakfast (food was not really on our minds) but she would have a manager call us. No one ever did call and when my husband called back after not receiving the promised call the person he spoke to could absolutely have cared less. We drove out of our way to stay here to make our travel for our tragedy a little better and Hilton's lack of hospitality, professionalism and concern was beyond disappointing.

Kelli P.

Yelp
Friendly, clean fabulous from arrival to departure. Best Texas ranch water, cold Miller Lite and great beds! We will be back

A. W. W.

Yelp
I love the location and the staff at check-in were friendly and helpful. However, for the price, they should have high quality, firm mattresses! Our backs hurt the whole week - the mattress sank just sitting on it. We reported it to Mia at the front desk. Hopefully, they will replace it and check the mattresses in other rooms. Also, the restaurant and bar need better food/selections. The bar had very poor choices for appetizers. We will give it another chance. Hope they improve!

Yelp
This place was in a great location and served as a great home for us while we were in Franklin for my best friends wedding. I would say it's a little pricey but very luxurious so it's worth a little extra. Dropping the room rate by 20% and not charging $30/day for valet could lessen the blow but overall good experience
google avatar

Carole C.

Yelp
Great location to walk around Franklin. Nice lobby bar. Excellent restaurant. Smallish rooms yet well appointed with luxurious shower. Cool interior courtyard off lobby with grand staircase to second floor would make for lovely small event photos.

Darlene R.

Yelp
Although a bit pricey, this hotel is a gem. Everything is new. Location is the BEST! Walking distance to all the charm and delight within Franklin Main Street and some historic spots. Parking is wicked expensive but if you go 1 block over, you will find a clean, wonderful parking (overnight as well) garage and it's FREE!!! literally steps away from hotel.
google avatar

Daren H.

Yelp
Staff was highly attentive, rooms were crisp and clean and the location couldn't be better. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here even though we are locals. Mara and Laura took care of every detail during our stay and ask for Jimmy when you dine at 1799. Try the quail app and don't miss out on the biscuits and gravy for breakfast. We will be back!

Hiram D.

Yelp
A friend and I shared a 450.00 a night suite this past Easter weekend. For it to be a new hotel, it was already shows signs of wear. But, the main issue was the room itself which was enormous. However, the hallway into the room was quite narrow and the coffee station was on a console right at the door making it difficult to manuever luggage into the room itself. The bathroom was quite large. The shower would hold several people but there was only one shower head. The towels were definitely substandard, not fluffly but scratchy and too small. The toilet was in it's own closet but, rather small. It was difficult to get in and out of. There was a desk of sorts attached to one wall. However, there was no task lighting, electric plugs or USB ports. A busines person would find it difficult to conduct business. OVerall, it was disappointing. Not the luxury one would expect. I won't be returning and I can't recommend it.

Joy P.

Yelp
This hotel is nice? but not up to Curio property standards. I even found dried BLOOD on the bed comforter and slept with the bathrobe over me as a blanket. Gross. Rooms are simple and cozy enough but lack any real amenities besides a Keurig and some basic toiletries. Not even a fridge. For $300 a night, it doesn't quite cut it.
google avatar

Audrey R.

Yelp
What an amazing experience in a gorgeous hotel! The team made us feel like regulars. Britney and Justin were so accommodating and helped us with the even the smallest of details. We felt like old friends. Manlyo was an awesome tour guide and recommended the best places to eat! He also made a mean Cuban in the cafe attached to the hotel. We had a great visit. It made us want to move right in.

Kelli H.

Yelp
Stayed a Saturday night. Loudest hotel I have ever stayed in! Room faced the street/front of hotel. The bar/patio outdoors had people talking, drinking, yelling all night. I was awakened 4 times by people outdoors, twice by sirens, and many times by the elevator doors. I got 3 hours of sleep.

Eric U.

Yelp
Great hotel in Franklin with superb customer service. Love the accommodating staff - especially Susan at the front desk. She really goes above and beyond. Terrific location too.

Ashley N.

Yelp
What an amazing experience! We have stayed here twice now since they opened and everyone is absolutely wonderful and provides the highest quality of customer service. Laura and Rhonda at check in are always happy and bubbly and we're ready to assist with anything we needed including local spot recommendations. We couldn't have asked for a better duo to make us feel Welcome. They really went above and beyond in every way. Also the restaurant is fabulous and highly recommend the humming bird cake for desert. Our server Matt was fantastic as well. Super nice very genuine and seemed to take great joy in his work. He was very informed about the dishes and surrounding area as well. Thanks so much Harpeth we can't wait to come and stay again!

Yelp
CAUTION - DO NOT BOOK! STEAL YOUR MONEY! We booked here beginning of March for a wedding happening at end of May. Wedding was unfortunately canceled due to Covid the last week of March. The same day in March we were notified of wedding cancelation we called to cancel the reservation (2 months before the stay). They said okay no problem and was supposed to have been canceled. We never heard anything from them until we saw a $400 charge on our credit card. They never finalized the cancellation on their end, despite telling us the reservation had been terminated. We were surprised to see the charge on our card so we called and told them we had in fact canceled 2 months prior back in March. There was clearly an accident and the cancelation did not go through. We called to let them know there had been a mistake but they don't care. They are not refunding the $400 despite it being a mistake on the Hotel staffs part for not fully canceling. They just say it's policy not to refund for non-cancelations even though we did cancel 2 months before when the stay was supossed to happen - we are being punished and charged for a mistake the hotel made by not finalizing the cancelation when we called. I'm sure the mistake wasn't done on purpose or maliciously, and they probably had a lot of cancellation happening at that time due to Covid, AO maybe there was a mixup with the wrong reservation being canceled, but they could have at least acknowledged the mistake and refunded. Instead, they are stealing the $400 from us and we never even saw the hotel.

Angie R.

Yelp
Great hotel! Would stay here again. Brand new and staff was very friendly! Dog friendly hotel. Pros: New and very clean Staff very helpful and nice Restaurant on site along with a nice bar Right by downtown so you can walk every where The whole town is dog friendly and you can take them in stores and restaurants/bars. Con: Bed was a little hard and pillows are all feather so they go flat throughout the night. They should offer a variety of pillows. All in all great hotel!
