This hotel has a great location, two restaurants inside, one serves breakfast and lunch (super good food and very friendly helpful staff) and a fancier one with a full service bar and serves dinner (bland food, super attentive friendly staff, not their fault the chef hates salt/flavor). You can get coffee/espresso at either restaurant. Room service is available, which was a wonderful breakfast and prompt. The hotel is in the historic district, and everything is within a half mile flat walk with nice sidewalks that felt safe as kittens. The staff at this hotel is amazing, from the valet parking to the front desk to housekeeping. Beware, valet parking is $50 a night, but we decided it was worth it because street parking is a battle I was not up for on 4th of July weekend. There are lovely balconies at this hotel, make sure you clarify if you want a private balcony, some are not private, and you will have another guess sitting two feet from your chair with nothing really between you. Some rooms are bigger than others, so if that is a priority make it clear, just know, you will sacrifice a private balcony for that extra space. This hotel was one of the quietest stays I have ever had at a hotel. We didn't hear a peep all night and there were tons of rowdy wound up kids there for the Fourth. The only downside was the pillows. If you like down, you are in luck, if you like foam, you would be better off with a rolled up towel than the ones they supply. We will stay here again, I will just bring my own pillow next time, no big deal.
