The Haven at Whitesails

The food was outstanding. The jerk chicken fell off the bone! It was absolutely delicious. The drinks were great too! The location is perfect, try to get a window seat so you can look out at the water. The restaurant atmosphere is wonderful. The value of the food for the price is spot on. If you are looking for a cute restaurant with unique drinks and amazing food you should definitely try this place! I will 100% return.

Very delicious food and awesome decor. My wife and I were so excited to try The Haven when we heard about it being opened. The food is very well done, great portion sizes, and we haven't tried a single thing in the 3 times we've been that wasn't amazing. The drinks are also great (definitely get the rum punch!) Service is also great with all the staff being friendly and helpful. After visiting the first time we brought multiple family members for meals and they all enjoyed it and said they definitely wanted to come back.

Te Haven at Whitesails was recommended by a friend and we thought we would check it out. It is located in a marina, which provides a nice backdrop. The menu is quite eclectic with caribbean and Phillipino options. We were pleased to find several vegetarian options as well. We ordered the vegetable lumpia, jerk chicken and the pasta, vegetarian. The food was fresh and tasty. My entrée came with two sides and I chose rice and peas, and the callaloo (mostly spinach) The jerk chicken was boneless and surprisingly tender. It was a little dry, but I just asked for some extra jerk sauce and it was fine. My husband really liked his curry vegetarian pasta. It had a creamy coconut flavor. I gave a 3 in service because we had to ask for several things that should have been naturally provided by the server. There was also a large party, that the staff seemed to be more focused on. But it was not a deal breaker. We will be back because the food was good.

Comfort Food, a fusion of Caribbean Filipino cuisine, with a touch of Class! Great Location, Nice Views, Ample Parking, Great Atmosphere, & Affordable Comfort-Food. We Had a Coffee and some familiar Filipino Desserts....all great! Outstanding Customer Service from beginning to end. A Fine dinning experience of affordably priced menu and drinks.

Came for the food, stay for the drinks and ambiance. We had the shrimp curry. It was excellent, the salmon was moist, the jerk chicken fell off the bone. All four of us said everything we ate was delish! What a great place. We will be back!

My husband and I ate here tonight. The drinks were good, and the starters were expensive but tasted good. Unfortunately, the entrees were a colossal disappointment. I ordered the scallops at $36 and only received 4 scallops the size of a quarter with some (dry) steamed broccoli; give me a break. My husband ordered the seabass at the same price point, and it was cut in half to hardly anything! We had a good laugh when the food arrived. We live in the area and were so excited to have a new restaurant, but we will never go here again. I hope this restaurant gets its menu and prices aligned better for its own survival. The staff members were kind to us, so I don't understand the other reviews about rude service. The kitchen was very slow with our food, though. I agree the restaurant music was too loud, but nothing is louder than the disappointment of overpriced snacks.
