Went to the Acoustic SevenDust & Cory Marks show there last night. The venue as a whole is 10/10, 2 bars to get drinks from, ample space even at a sold out show and large clean bathrooms. Definitely be back for another event here

Went here for a concert so there was quite a line to get in, even though doors had been open for a while. Guy checking IDs didn’t even have a flashlight so I’m not sure why he even bothered. Guy with the metal detector wand acted like it was a light saber - hilarious but likely not super effective. Everyone was very nice nice. Two sets of large bathrooms. Plenty of room to move around. They even had a small snack station (water, chips, etc) and the prices were incredibly reasonable. Parking is an absolute guessing game. They suggest you rideshare because of limited options but I don’t know where you’d get an Uber at nearby. There ARE lots nearby but no one was operating the closest one and we didn’t want to get towed or ticketed. So we parked on the street behind the building next to a car literally on blocks. The show we came to see was supposed to be an acoustic concert and the audio would have been fine for that. It ended up being mostly a regular show and the sound was rough - too much bass and we couldn’t understand the vocals. Not sure how much of that was the sound board or the setup of this (most often) wedding venue.

Fantastic modern and minimalistic venue, great atmospheric lighting and easy visibility of the stage.

Had an amazing time at The Hawthorn for the Sevendust acoustic show! George and his entire team were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. Their positive energy and great service made the night even better. Fantastic venue with an even better staff — I’ll definitely be back! 🎶🙌

Saw my first show at the Hawthorn recently and I was pleasantly surprised. Great sound, lots of room, great bar. We took an Uber to the show as several friends said that parking in the area was risky. Would absolutely see bands at this venue again!!

First time I have visited this place. I attended a heavy metal band concert. Good place to hold a concert for smaller bands. Inside has an industrial look inside. There was plenty of space for the crowd. There was a good stage for the band. Plenty of security at the door and inside. There were bathrooms on each end of the building, so did not have to wait to use the restroom.

Rachel and George are exquisite!! The venue is unique and a great place! The absolute perfect venue for our wedding! They customized the lighting to match our wedding colors. They took their already incredible venue and made it unique and special for our big day. The staff were informative and responsive! Working with Rachel and George was easy. They were incredibly professional. They were also able and willing to work with us on our unique and creative ideas! They truly made us feel like the stars of the show!

Google
First class facility. Went to see Tab Benoit and it was fantastic. Amazing acoustics and plenty of space, I think it holds about 1500. Nice bars and the General Manager George was very helpful. If you get a chance to see a show here it’s a must see.

Yelp
Super cool, modern venue. Saw Flipturn with some friends and we were able to snag a table before the show started (very limited). They had two bars serving drinks which were normal price for a concert. Bathrooms were probably the cleanest I've ever seen for a concert/event space.

Yelp
This was our first time attending a concert at The Hawthorn and wasn't sure what to expect. But we were pleasantly surprised. Very open venue with only a few seats and tables. You definitely have to get there when the doors open to get a seat. Also, had a section of chairs near stage if you had a medical reason to need a seat. What i liked the most was the height of the stage, taller than normal which allowed a good view of the band regardless of where you were standing. The only negatives were not any secure parking, but lots of local street parking and the price of drinks. I still think these venues can charge less than $13 for a beer. Sound in the building was great and I would not hesitate to see another concert here. Perfect venue for a small intimate band!

Yelp
My first time here, for Arlo Parks, was enjoyable! The venue is super spacious, and the staff was friendly. The guy scanning tickets was super rad. I enjoy they sell a little bit of food, the brats smelled great, and sometimes you want a snack you know? Also, major props for having a designated ADA section with folding chairs.

Yelp
Some food provided but prices fair! The service at the bar was great & there's 2 so that's really nice! The event space is cool industrial modern.

Yelp
We decided to give the Hawthorn a second chance and unfortunately the same problems we saw last time persist. They seem to be understaffed for normal usher type staff to work the floor. On the other hand if you are looking for some drinks, there are plenty of bartenders. It is just an odd venue honestly. They only have about 20 chairs in the whole place, so be prepared to stand the whole time. Apparently sitting is a luxury to far.... You would think they could invest at least in a couple benches around the perimeter. Forewarned is forearmed - you are either standing the whole time or sitting on the nasty concrete step

Yelp
Went to a event that Hawthorn was hosting and it was fun. The event space was beautiful and spacious. Parking was easy and convenient. They did card payment only.

Yelp
The Hawthorn has a spacious atmosphere--plenty of room to walk around or sit at a table. I thought it was cool they have seats by the stage for anyone with special needs. The bathrooms are clean. The sinks were awkward to use, so they put a sign to tell you how to turn them on. I got two cocktails and they were $47 and in plastic cups.

Yelp
Dewayne was a great bartender. Wouldn't want no one else, he was nice and help out a lot.

Yelp
I attended the October London Concert at the Hawthorn on February 22, 2024. The concert was Excellent! However, the venue was not. First, we bought tickets on the website. We paid for a seat. I have a friend who went with me who needed accessibility and could not stand. My friend ended up leaving because she could not stand that long. We paid over $100 for a ticket. Second, when we arrived,e there were no ushers to seat people to ensure they paid for a sea because they also sold standing-room-only tickets. Third, there needed to be someone to assist. When the manager did come out, she told everyone they oversold the seated section. Well, we don't believe that it's our fault. We paid for a seat. So they brought out about ten more chairs and said that was all they had. I even spoke to a lady who said she paid over $150 for VIP and was told VIP did not come with a seat. To make a long story shorter. The atmosphere was pleasant, but I will not attend any more events at this venue. They needed to be more organized and wanted to avoid resolving the issue then. Suppose you are going to sell seats. First, you should have enough for everyone so they can enjoy the show.
