I ate here after visiting with coworkers locally. I had assumed it was a German restaurant because of the name, but it turned out to be a classic college campus bar/American restaurant. There were a lot of smaller tables that varied in sizes, and the bar was located in the center. We arrived just as the advertised "Happy Hour" began, so the restaurant was quickly filled with eager people. After receiving the menu from our waitress, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they did indeed have German inspired items. I ordered the fried pork sandwich with a side of the warm German-styled potatoe salad. My table also ordered chicken wings and fried ravioli for appetizers (it was buy one appetizer get one for free). My food was prepared well and everything was very tasty. The atmosphere, which became more restrictive and louder as more people entered the building, was extremely reminiscent of my experience as an ungraduate at my college from witnessing many young people play arcade games while watching different television screens around the bar.
