I recently visited The Hemp Company in Raleigh and was assisted by two young gentlemen and a young lady. All three were personable, patient, and noticeably knowledgeable about the products they carry. The customer service alone deserves five stars — this team is absolutely worth keeping, and they represent the store exceptionally well. My reason for deducting stars comes down to product variety and pricing when compared to what I typically purchase from a medical dispensary. The store primarily carried a few notable brands, including Wildwoods and Habit. I’m personally not a fan of Habit products; I’ve purchased dozens of their disposable vapes in the past, and they consistently clog or leak despite being stored upright and handled as recommended. The flavor profiles also tend to lean grassy and harsh — reminiscent of traditional THC-A flower rather than a refined vape experience. On this visit, I decided to try a Wildwoods disposable because the store had one of my favorite strains: Peaches and Cream. I’m pleased to say I was genuinely impressed. The flavor was clean and vibrant, with a noticeable limonene-forward profile, and the device itself was low-maintenance and easy to use. While the taste does have that slightly grassy THC-A note, it’s expected and not unpleasant. The effects were fast-acting — a relaxing head high with some facial tingling and mild disorientation. Nothing overwhelming, but I wouldn’t recommend using it before going somewhere unfamiliar if you’re prone to anxiety. In comparison to the products I purchase from Thrive Maryland, Wildwoods actually held its own and, in some ways, surpassed their disposables. However, the pricing is nearly identical, and medical dispensaries tend to offer far better promotions and deals, which makes a difference over time. Would I return? Yes — especially in a pinch. If I don’t have a trip to D.C. planned, The Hemp Company in Raleigh is a solid option to tide me over. The staff made the visit enjoyable, and I appreciated their willingness to help.

This shop is hands down one of the best I’ve visited. Camden was super friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help me find exactly what I’m looking for. The products are high quality, well-priced, and the store itself has a really chill, welcoming vibe. Camden is the best!

10/10 experience I was able to speak with Liz regarding a vending opportunity and the way she communicated throughout multiple platforms, made sure I was good to go, customer service is top tier. Karina and Chris were very nice when I came in to grab a little pick me up. Karina is very knowledgeable about her products. She makes you feel at ease when you come in if that be an avid pro or just starting out in the this world. I’m super excited to come back. Super excited about Hempfest 2025!!!!

Amazing store with an amazing staff!!! With a variety of selections you can’t go wrong with anything you select! The extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff went over and beyond to educate me on the products to allow me to make the best decision for my needs! I would recommend any and everyone to check out this phenomenal store! I’ll definitely be a regular!

This store is such a pleasure to visit. I saw a one star review on here for the most ego based, ridiculous reasons. Everyone who works here is the best person you'll ever meet. It must've been difficult to set up a shop like this, considering it's located in the North Ridge area. They have absolutely anything you may need or want, and there is a positive spiritual vibe that is palpable. When people say "Mom and Pop shop," this is what they mean. It feels like a warm family providing relief from many conditions that might otherwise go untreated. Whatever you're looking for, however you need to ease any suffering that is ignored by the medical community, The Hemp Store has it. This is true customer service, with great prices for such valuable items. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, and my arthritic body, to all of you. ‍

I absolutely love this place and usually commute every week but today I had a bad experience I arrived on a motorcycle and no where outside on store does it say no helmets or face mask. So I proceeded with helmet on and upon entering was getting yelled at to take my helmet off. Once again great place but not motorcycle friendly would not recommend.

The employees I've encountered so far are very friendly and helpful. Great selection of products and great location. Wish they had more "deals" or bundles but they do have a rewards program. Just be careful when youre leaving because Falls of Neuse has alot of traffic at times.

Excellent inventory including hard to find (at a reasonable price and mg content)THC seltzer. Customer service was stellar! I had quite a few questions on various products , from jewelry to paraphernalia. I received thorough answers on all. Staff seemed happy to be there. It's clean, ample parking and in a good location. In a word, fantabulous!

I am new to CBD. The owners took the time to educate me about different brands and strengths, and I left feeling optimistic about pain relief for the first time in months. I will continue to shop at The Hemp Company for CBD products. Wonderful store, wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable people!
