True Food Kitchen Founder Opening All-Day Player in West Hollywood | Eater LA

"Taking over the former The Newsroom location and slated to open later this month, The Henry will anchor the massive 100,000-square-foot property with a centrally located, neighborhood appeal. From restaurateur Sam Fox of the True Food Kitchen empire, the concept will serve all day—positioning itself as a local one-stop shop for everything from morning coffee and avocado toast to dinnertime dry-aged New York strip. Similar to the original Phoenix location, The Henry is described as the intersection of industrial and classic styles warmed by a hint of Gatsby-era charm, with a loungey patio, a sprawling indoor/outdoor bar for after-work libations, and an expansive interior that harks back to The Newsroom with a wall of library books and newspapers; it checks all the boxes for all-day needs and joins recently opened cocktail bar Bibo and Blue Bottle Coffee." - Crystal Coser

I was in love with this place as soon as we walked up! The signature green woven through out the decor and the wait staff clothing was perfect. Service was good (just a little slow), but it was a busy Saturday morning. The food was fabulous! I had the egg white turkey omelette (without cheese), and it was so tasty! My husband had the French toast and said that it was very good. We had a wonderful visit… this place is the whole package: gorgeous atmosphere and fabulous food.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Henry, and it was an experience worth sharing. From start to finish, the food, drinks, and atmosphere created such a memorable evening. We started off with their coffee selection, and it truly set the tone for the meal. The latte was smooth and perfectly balanced, while the cappuccino had that rich, bold flavor topped with velvety foam—just the kind of warm welcome you’d want before diving into a meal. For appetizers, we had the Spicy Tuna and Crispy Rice, and it set the bar high for the rest of the meal. The crispy rice had the perfect crunch, and the spicy tuna topping was fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of heat. It’s one of those appetizers you’ll want to order every time you visit. For the main dishes, I tried the Roasted Chicken and Avocado Salad, which was absolutely refreshing and well-balanced. The chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, while the avocado added a creamy richness that tied the whole salad together. It felt light yet satisfying, a perfect choice if you’re looking for something wholesome. The Grilled Shrimp Taco Platter was another highlight—generous portions of tender, smoky shrimp tucked into warm tortillas with fresh toppings that added both crunch and zest. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the presentation was as inviting as the taste itself. To complement it all, I had the pineapple drink, and it was incredibly refreshing. Sweet, tangy, and vibrant, it was the perfect beverage to balance the spices and flavors of the meal. Beyond the food, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere at Henry is warm, stylish, and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that works equally well for a casual lunch, a dinner with friends, or even a special night out. I’ll definitely be returning, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for a restaurant that consistently impresses.

This was our first time visiting The Henry – “the neighborhood restaurant” and we left really impressed. From the moment we walked in, the ambience felt warm and stylish without being pretentious. The energy was lively, the cocktails were crafted beautifully, and the dinner menu had something for everyone. Service was attentive but not overbearing—just the right balance. We started with the crab cake appetizer and truffle fries, both of which disappeared quickly. For mains, we had the scallops with gnocchi (an incredible pairing), the short ribs, the filet, and the ahi. Every single dish was well executed, flavorful, and plated with care. I wish I had thought to take photos before we started eating, but that’s usually the best sign—when the food is too tempting to wait. Price-wise, The Henry feels very fair. The most expensive item on the menu is the filet at $54, which is reasonable for a steak of that quality. Overall, it strikes a nice balance of approachable and elevated—perfect for date night, dinner with friends, or even a more casual outing. The space itself is versatile too: plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, with a vibe that works whether you’re dressed up or dressed down. One tip—make a reservation. It was busy when we went, and I can see why. All in all, The Henry lives up to its reputation as a “neighborhood restaurant” but brings an elevated touch that makes the whole experience feel special. We’ll absolutely be back.

Google
The Henry in Phoenix does not disappoint! The service is absolutely amazing, attentive, friendly, and always on point. Their happy hour is one of the best around, with delicious apps and perfectly crafted drinks. The outdoor seating is beautiful and makes the whole experience even better, especially when the weather’s nice. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy great food, and soak in the vibe. Highly recommend!

Google
The Henry has a great menu that is varied and everything I’ve tried has been great. I decided to try the jumbo lump crab cake and it was delicious. The crab was excellent and the accompanying sauce was out of this world. One of my favorite appetizers is the short-rib potsticker. Unique and tasty.

Had my bridal shower at the private kitchen, as you can see the area is super adorable, interactive and perfect space for group of 15! Girls had so much fun and amazing food, even leftover to go for the next day. We also ended up getting couple sweets from the cafe, gluten or not all delicious! Most important is the people that we have interacted with are kind, professional, responsive. Really appreciate all the help and coordination from Samantha and Priscilla, and the girls who helped set up the room, you made the day very special. Can’t wait to do another event here with them, professionalism is hot 😉

Great restaurant! Came for a quick weekday breakfast where it is self seating ordering from the coffee bar till 10:30. Lots of people remote working. The food was fantastic. I got the California burrito as a bowl and it was so good. My partner got the quinoa burrito which he also thought was great. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Bonus yummy chocolate croissant Was not a fan of their iced vanilla latte coffee, I’d skip it. Otherwise I plan to be back

Google
Absolutely loved the food here. Highly recommend had a delicious brunch, a decaf latte and after the meal selected a gluten free pop tart to go. Everything was great. My sister had the Bloody Mary and it looked (and tasted) amazing. It’s hard to find good decaf lattes but that one was the best. I can’t say enough about that pop tart too! Can’t wait to go back to Phoenix for another one.

Yelp
Perfect dinner on our last night in AZ! Made reservations which i recommend, they seem to get busy. Love the mood of the restaurant, great for date nights. Our server was nice and attentive. I had the European Seabass which was cooked to perfection while the hubbs' got the Braised Short Rib and it was so tender, both so flavorful. We decided on the Chocolate Fudge Torte for dessert, so smooth and creamy - great for sharing to satisfy that sweets craving.

Yelp
Second team meet at the Henry. All good here. We had appetizers including artichoke dip with bread, pot stickers and brussel sprouts. All were very good. Party of 9 and most people had salads and harvest bowls. The remainder included burgers, chicken and salmon entrees. Service was great, as was the food. I had the harvest bowl with grains and various vegetables. Light, tasty and a very good choice. Ambience was upscale, coffee was good and I found a parking spot. Put this one on your list!

Yelp
We went here as a group of eight after a memorial service and received great service! Our waiter was Chase and he was really kind, funny and even accommodating to my lactose issue, and he went out of his way to get a pastry for me since I couldn't eat the birthday cake for my family member! Kudos to the waiter Chase!

Yelp
No disappointments at all! I had made last minute reservations here for my birthday and it was so delicious and well worth it. The food was very flavorful. I absolutely love brunch and it exceeded my expectations. My only complaint on the food is that the bagel had too much cream cheese, but who doesn't love extra cream cheese? Lol, nothing to complain about! The key lime tarte is probably the best key lime I've had in a really long time. Love the addition of the blueberries. Made the tart fresh! Service was even better. We had the sweetest waitress. She made my birthday extremely special. We sat outside and gratefully the day was so beautiful! Not too hot, and we sat in the shade so it was perfect! It gets packed so if you decide to take a visit try to make reservations or you will be waiting awhile! Love the setup! Quality food, drinks, service and ambiance.

Yelp
My friends and I came here for the first time last weekend to celebrate our friend's birthday and we had a great experience for the most part. Our waitress was super friendly, attentive, and very helpful when it came to giving suggestions on what to order since their menu has a lot of food and drink choices. We ended up getting their short rib dumplings as an appetizer and I got their Korean skirt steak as my entree. My friends got their braised pork, sea bass, and pasta as their entrees. My skirt steak was delicious! It was cooked very well and the fried rice it was served over was very good. Their portions were great too. They gave the right amount of food where I could finish the whole dish without leftovers and feel full. I also got a chance to try some of the other entrees and they were all very flavorful as well. The only one that was a bit of a let down was their sea bass. It was seasoned well but was definitely a bit overcooked to the point the fish was pretty dry. Otherwise the other food was great! And since it was my friend's birthday they gave us some of their key lime pie and that tasted great as well. The restaurant is fairly upscale and definitely more of a place to go for a date or company outing. It's pretty dim inside so you might need your flashlight to see the menu. But overall I think this is pretty solid restaurant and would recommend.

Yelp
Everything here was excellent. Food, decor, service-- all on point. The Bolognese was amazing! As were the potstickers and even the bread and pesto. It did get pretty loud, so if that's a sticking point for you, just be aware.

Yelp
The food was delicious. The Server Mickey was so amazing. She was so patient with our large group. The vibe was exactly what we needed after a long day of work.

Yelp
My friends and I love coming here for happy hour. God quality drinks and several food options on the happy hour menu (we like the guac and cauliflower hummus.) The HH menu is only available at the bar or on the patio, but the patio is lovely. The food is always high quality and presented well. Service is always up to par and friendly.

Yelp
Just rediscovered The Henry in Phoenix after a long absence since 2019, and wow, did I miss out! Stopped by post-flight and it was just as delicious and stunning as I remember. Managed to grab seats at the bar and were warmly welcomed by our server. Honestly can't recall the name of my dish, but it was scrambled eggs with brussels sprouts and mushrooms, and every bite was perfectly seasoned. The bacon was cooked perfectly just the right amount of crispiness. The ambiance hits the mark; it's such a beautiful restaurant.

Yelp
Oh my gosh. We made reservations for lunch, and I'm so glad we did. The ambience, food, and service are all top-notch. This is definitely a place that you want to look cute and enjoy your time at. Everything you get is going to be phenomenal, you really can't go wrong. We got the harvest bowl with chicken, they split the half for us. We also got the brussels sprout, which were phenomenal.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday with a group of friends during happy hour! Make sure you ask for the happy hour menu as they did not offer it up front. The drinks were delicious. We had the Fig and Ginger Mule, Thai Grapefruit Smash and Espresso Martini. The Fig and Ginger mule and Thai grapefruit smash were absolutely delicious. Espresso martini was a little bitter for my taste. For food, we ate the whipped ricotta and artichoke, parmesan truffle fries and guacamole. They were all delicious and very filling. Food and drinks aside, the aesthetics of the patio were to die for. The blue tiles and the potted plants added a modern touch. It was hot outside but the fans kept us cool as we sipped on the refreshing drinks. The service was incredible, they made great recommendations based on our mood and made me feel really special on my birthday.

Yelp
A friend stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night and the place was packed. The parking lot was full and the way people drive, almost got in 3 accidents due to people not paying attention. We were able to get a couple spots at the bar and the bartender greeted us quickly. He suggested a great cab for my friend while I had a Pinot Grigio. For dinner I had the hamburger with Parmasan truffle fries and my friend had the short ribs. Both were delicious. I was disappointed the club sandwich is not on the dinner menu.

Yelp
Popped back here for happy hour and a quick bite. As always, the location, service and quality of the food and drinks are excellent. We had the spicy tuna and crispy rice roll. We turned up at 4:15 and were able to sit and order pretty much immediately. Always a winner in our eyes.

Yelp
One of our fav dinner date restaurants! Best food and service, another amazing dinner tonight

Yelp
Absolutely gorgeous upscale bistro that offers a great variety of delicious selections. This restaurant is much more spacious than it seems like from the outside and the interior is a nice balance of casual, yet sophisticated. A spacious patio wrapped around the outside that looked pleasant too. The service was what you'd expect from a place like this - friendly and welcoming. I ordered a refreshing salad packed with unique textures and flavors that hit the spot, but it was pretty expensive for a salad and a small piece of (albeit, perfectly cooked) salmon. I'd love to come back and try some of their other favorites!

Yelp
Good fast service.. I had morning reservations for a business meeting, got seated right away.. Service was really good and friendly, super fast, i ordered a hot green tea and some oatmeal. The oatmeal was a big bowl serving which was good. Nice ambience, clean and fresh decor.. My first time here and definitely will go back again especially to try the lunch & dinner menu.

Yelp
I've always been a fan of the Henry. This visit was a brunch on the patio for a birthday. It was an excellent day, so naturally, the patio looked and felt glorious! We ordered the Korean prime skirt steak, all American burger, and the harvest bowl. All of these were very well made. With flavors, ingredients, and seasonings well thought out. At first, the portions looked small, but we were stuffed by the end of it! The waitress was very friendly and kept her visits frequent but concise with enthusiasm. Overall, we had nothing bad to say! I recommend it for any type of occasion!

Yelp
Came here for Sunday brunch and enjoyed the whole experience, from the ambiance, to the service and food, everything was great. The place was absolutely packed, but luckily we had reservations - something that seems like a must for brunch. We ordered the Blackened Fish Tacos and Rancheros Breakfast Bowl to share. The amount of food was more than enough for two hungry people to share. We sadly weren't able to finish everything no matter how hard we tried, and we did try because damn was that Rancheros Breakfast Bowl amazing. The food was super flavorful, while both items were really good, I would go back here specifically to get that Rancheros Bowl again. For the most part prices were on par with other nicer brunch spots, the tacos were a little pricier than I'd normally expect to spend on fish tacos, but that's probably the coastal Californian in me.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch today with a girlfriend to celebrate her new job! Well, really it was just the interview- so as was lunch instead of dinner! First thing- lunch time parking is a nightmare!! They do have valet, and the valet line is crazy! So once you finish working on your patience, you go get in line to wait for a table. That part isn't too bad because they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Today was just a little nippy, so they had the outdoor heaters going! Yaay! I ordered the seared tuna chop salad- it's my favorite since they took away Houston's down the road. It was delicious! So many things in the salad just a few pieces of tuna- but I'm not complaining. My friend got the Brussel sprouts, which were really good, and she also got the hummus. It was so pretty I forgot to take pictures of it. My bad! Anyhow- definitely go! The vibe is pretty chill!!
google avatar

Vincent T.

Yelp
The Henry was definitely a visit to remember. The only reason I did not give it a five star rating is because my steak was purple raw when I had ordered medium. Other than that one flaw everything tasted amazing. That tuna crispy rice was one of the best creations of that dish I have had. Definitely would recommend!
google avatar

Aarone M.

Yelp
Increased my review from last time due to great service and good food. Didn't go for 5 stars because the prices are SO HIGH.
google avatar

Mathew V.

Yelp
I really liked this restaurant. It came as a recommendation from a friend. The service was very attentive and quick. The food was prepared really well. The have a very good variety on the menu. I really enjoyed the tuna tartare on crispy rice, the shrimp cocktail sauces were both really good. I got the Korean skirt steak for my entree and it was really tasty and cooked perfectly. I did try the bread pudding. The sauce with the raisins was good but a little too sweet. I would've liked more pecans sprinkled on and less raisins to balance it a bit more. Maybe ask for the whiskey sauce on the side to regulate how sweet you want it? I ate outside and the weather was great. The service was also good outside and you didn't feel forgotten. Based on my experience, you couldn't go wrong eating there.
google avatar

Jesse K.

Yelp
Honestly my FAVORITE place to be. Food is absolutely amazing, yet the servers from the bar can be slightly rude. But this place has amazing coffees (in all kinds). Bowls, avocado toast, sandwiches, and etc. everything is absolutely amazing here. My personal recommendation is Korean Prime Skirt Steak &Seared Ahi Tuna salad (from the lunch menu) The place is a bit noisy but not like a bar-loud level. It is loud enough to talk loud but quiet enough to do the full conversation without yelling.
google avatar

Juliana L.

Yelp
I visited the Henry on a Tuesday around 1pm. Being in town for the holidays, I wanted to work remotely from the coffee bar. Overall, the remote work was a great experience. The coffee bar area was small, but the old fashioned furniture gave a homey vibe. Plus, the specialty coffee I ordered (The Cleo) was delicious and not too sugary. At 3pm, I transitioned to the lounge to take advantage of the happy hour menu. My partner and I ordered the spicy tuna & rice, shortrib potstickers, and cauliflower hummus. Overall, it was a very enjoyable selection of dishes. I did unfortunately get a pepper seed in my spicy tuna and couldn't finish, but the waitress was very gracious and provided me with a new dish to replace it. I would say the service and decor really set this place apart. The food, while not the most memorable part of the experience, was enjoyable too.

Yelp
Came out to Phoenix for our family vacation and my brother lives in the area. Him and his partner love coming to The Henry for drinks and food so he wanted to take us for dinner. Walked in and the place is really open and the ambiance is really nice. I love the dark aesthetic and the whole mood. Definitely a vibe as they say lol Decided to go with the braised short ribs over mashed potatoes and a side of Mac and cheese. We started out with a crispy rice appetizer and it was SO good. The short ribs were really good but the mashed potatoes were stellar! Finished dinner with the key lime brûlée and I'm still dreaming about it! Overall the food was fantastic and I'd love to come back for brunch! (Which I've heard so much about!)

Yelp
We went there for my birthday. We were met by a hostess who took us to our table and had a birthday card for me! Our waitress came to our table immediately and gave us drink menus. My husband ordered an old-fashioned and I had Prosecco. Both were perfect. We ordered the brussels sprouts umami for an appetizer. They were wonderful! My husband likes his vegetables very plain; however, absolutely loved these. I enjoyed the short ribs for dinner. I could not believe how thick they were. Everything was melt in your mouth! My husband had the Seabass he had never had it prepared that way and absolutely loved it. For dessert we had the butter cake. I was blown away. It was a little crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Paired with the caramel poured around it and the vanilla gelato the dessert was outstanding. Thanks for a wonderful experience! We will be back !

Yelp
Had a friend take me out to a late birthday dinner at the Henry and I left with the biggest smile on my face. We started off with a fan favorite of the crispy rice with spicy tuna on top- (which I could eat 15 of in once sitting) For my entree I had the braised short rib and it was nothing short of fantastic. The contrasting flavors of sweetness from the caramelized onions and glaze on the short rib with the tangy-ness of the blue cheese crumbles that were sprinkled around was finger lickin' good! Highly,HIGHLY recommend. Lastly, I have to applaud the service at the Henry. We were the last table sitting outside and the bakery section was closed already, but our waitress convinced the cooks to last minute whip up the croissant bread pudding for me. Loved the Henry, definitely coming back again and again!

Nice ambiance. Enjoyed everything from the drinks to apps and entrees. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
We came here tonight as a family of 8. We had a reservation and were promptly seated at a nice large table. Loved the atmosphere and feel of the restaurant. We had 2 toddlers with us and they provided booster seats quickly for us and even gave my little guy some coloring sheets. We usually bring our own coloring because I know some places don't have coloring pages anymore and when we arrived he realized he had left his coloring at home and he was devastated. So I was so relieved when the hostess came back with a couple of coloring pages and crayons! We ordered drinks and appetizers. Our appetizers were the truffle fries (excellent) and the bread. I didn't have any of the bread but those who ate it loved it. I really wanted the avocado chicken salad (I've had it before at a different location out of state) but I noticed that it was no longer on the dinner menu. However, when I asked they said they could still make it. I was very grateful for that! Everyone enjoyed their food. I forget what everyone ordered but there were short ribs and a few orders of the fish tacos along with some other items. Overall the food was great and our waitress was also great.
google avatar

Kelly C.

Yelp
Service was great. We had made reservations and made them for outside. It was kind of cold, but they turned on the heater for us. I ordered, the crispy coconut shrimp, guacamole, and tortilla soup. Hubs ordered the bolognese pasta. We have been to the one in Coronado and had fantastic food there. The only item we reordered here was the guacamole. I will say all of the appetizers, to me, were extremely salty. The tortilla soup, was beef broth with 2 small pieces of chicken, with a couple of cheese curds melted and thrown in top, and a few tortilla chips. It was not what I was hoping for at all. It was not a tortilla soup by any stretch of the imagination. It was like a wanna be french onion soup with a tiny bit of chicken and tortilla chips. So odd. The Bolognese Pasta, was the best item that we ordered. After, we ordered coffee drinks at the coffee bar, and I also got a macaron. My coffee was good. I didn't like what my husband ordered. I think it was a dirty chai with vanilla, flavoring.

Yelp
I went to the Henry with my wife and our friends to celebrate their engagement. The food, service, ambience, and professionalism of the staff was five star all the way. They also had congratulations Card on the table to acknowledge our friend's engagement. That showed attention to detail that you don't see everywhere. They were very impressed, as were my wife and I. Everyone's entree was absolutely fabulous, but that didn't stop us from enjoying Butter Cake for dessert. YUM!! Thank you for everyone at the Henry for making our occasion very special. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Delightful restaurant. We attended a private event in The Henry's elegant side dining room and enjoyed the evening thoroughly. Exceptionally cordial service, truly pleasant ambiance, and impressive, carefully prepared food. Our pre-selected entree was the braised short rib (bourbon caramel, roasted mushroom, fourme d'ambert, smashed potatoes) and was absolutely delicious. A memorable plate. Five stars aren't enough.
google avatar

Amanda C.

Yelp
Cute brunch/lunch spot with a full menu, a bakery, and desserts. Our waiter was super friendly and kind with our large group of 9. It was quite busy on a Saturday for lunch and there was a bit of a wait in between getting all our items. Things that shone the most for me were the truffle fries, bolognese, blueberry muffin, and key lime tart. Unfortunately the rest were just OK or too salty. Might return if I'm conveniently in the area but wouldn't go out of my way. Overall seems like a place that is good with large parties with a pleasant layout. Great for birthdays I think, nice touched like a card and dessert of your choice on the house!

Charity B.

Yelp
Food was delicious, especially the brussel sprout app. The atmosphere was amazing and so was the service.
google avatar

Ryan L.

Yelp
The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the vibes of the interior and exterior design of the restaurant! We got the filet mignon and salmon! We thought the filet was slightly expensive, but it was delicious and the scalloped potatoes were amazing. The salmon was a bit too lemony for us but that was delicious overall as well. We thought the cocktails were great, I enjoyed an old fashioned. Our only real complaint was that it was incredibly difficult to hear anything because of the acoustics of the building and how close guests are squeezed together, but we were looking for a quieter date spot. I would definitely come back for a more casual experience or during off hours. Service was great and we were given a card for our anniversary!
google avatar

Heather H.

Yelp
If I could wish for anything, it's to have had the opportunity to have gone to The Henry sooner. We had a work meeting hosted here, and now I can already tell I'll have to go back! We split appetizers, including shrimp cocktail with 2 flavorful dipping sauces, and even better was a cauliflower hummus. Next the short rib. It came with a potato purée, and some mushroom and onions. The glaze on the short rib has a somewhat sweet hint, and the meat itself just falls apart. I would order this again without question. Lastly for a something sweet, I got the key lime crème brûlée. It had a sugar topping with a perfect crisp, and a sweet tangy cream filling on a graham cracker type crust. YUM!
google avatar

Yelp
We gave "The Henry" 3.5/5 It was okay, "I guess",, but will I be running back there for lunch any time soon? -ah maybe not. For the price we expected: Higher quality bathrooms Lavender or Lemon hot towels presented at the table after our meal. A better smelling restaurant Clean floors. The floors were dirty Value. The drinks were WAY over priced The attire requirements are lackadaisical to say the least! It's kind of a Business Pretentious Establishment (BPE). The vibe was like a Libbys Cafe. We felt the menu was unoriginal, and you're better off going to Chelsea's kitchen or Beckett's table if you want that kind of food. The beer selections were way under par (no Irish Red Ales) We feel if you're going to charge those exorbitant prices, then do something that distinguishes you from other run-of-the-mill restaurants. Just being in the Cameltoe District doesn't make you special! We feel they've gone compliant. Maybe their breakfast is better. But what about the floor???? We've seen cleaner floors in barns!
google avatar

Alexis N.

Yelp
The patio was darling and provided a great ambiance. The food was good but felt a bit over priced for the portions. I think what ruined the experience for me was the service. Our server did not check on our drink or table much. I mentioned to the server about us celebrating our friends birthday and she didn't acknowledge it and then brought out the check and asked if we wanted dessert with the check in her hand. I would not recommend this as a spot to celebrate a birthday.

Yelp
LOVE this place. Because it's slightly more expensive we typically go for special occasions, and it fits because it's very nice inside and you want to dress up a little bit. I dream about their brussel sprouts - seriously anyone will love them. The harvest bowl is my favorite. I've had it with salmon added in, salmon was cooked perfectly. One time I went for my birthday and I got a signed card and the server saved the last gluten free key lime tart for me - So sweet!

Yelp
5 Stars is based off the brunch experience. If I had to rate dinner, it would be 4 Stars. They have great food taste-wise on both menus, but the brunch menu is just far superior in selection in my humble opinion. The service is always fabulous and the food is great. It's the perfect mix between upscale and casual. It's a great spot to meet for a fancy, delicious meal without feeling like you have to dress the best or otherwise be judged. If you're looking for something yummy in this area, then try Henry! You won't be disappointed... especially if you're going for brunch/lunch!

Yelp
I have come here a few times to work as they have a great work space. Each time I come I get a coffee. Today I pick up my coffee and it feels half empty so when I take the lid off this is how much space was in my cup that they didn't fill up, I haven't even taken A sip yet. This was $7.33 with tax. I normally wouldn't post about something not full but this is wild that they were okay serving this as a larger size.

Yelp
The building is superb, modern and cozy. Great for any celebratory occasion or just to go eat the great food. Plenty of space to park. Food was great, I got the fish and it was delicious. Service was nice a little slow but not a big deal because it gave us time to enjoy the place. I love the waitress outfits they all wear super cute ties. I will come back here sometime for sure.

Yelp
One of the flagship Fox Restaurant concepts, this was my first visit. During breakfast hours, it is open seating and fast-casual style ordering. I don't know about the other meal times. It is a large, fairly loud spot. I was glad to find recluse in a side room to enjoy my 2 Egg Breakfast and my dining companion in somewhat quieter peace as we had a breakfast meeting. The food is served fast, and the staff are friendly. The bacon is outstanding!!! Many people get coffee, juices and carry out options during the morning. Parking is a bit of a challenge, unless you use the complimentary valet. They offer several gluten free options, too.

Yelp
This used to be my favorite spot! But I think I did what you are not supposed to do. I held this restaurant to a high esteem, so my expectations were great. It was my go to every time I come in town. Today it let me down. The food seems saltier, less flavorful and just overall not the same experience. Don't get me wrong. It is still a place that you MUST try at least once! The ambience, the vibe, the staff, everything about it is great when it comes to that, but I think it has run its course with me. Today I had the fish tacos which had little to no flavor. However, the corn that came with it was delicious. My lunch guest had the turkey club which was OK not great the french fries tasted a little greasy and my other guest had the Bolognese, which was too salty. I did have a great cocktail, the blackberry ginger margarita it was amazing but then I ordered a Mojito which fell completely flat. I don't know what it was, but it was not good at all. All in all it was an OK dining experience but sad to see my number one restaurant in the Scottsdale area fall from its high post.

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere! Eclectic and trendy! Such a cute place. We ordered the smoked bagel sandwhich as well as the Korean skirt steak. Both were excellent! Service was quick and attentive. Prices were reasonable as well. The he lattes were all made in house and delicious. Overall a great meal and would recommend.

Yelp
I setup a 10a reservation to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday as The Henry was her choice. We arrived a few minutes beforehand and were seated promptly. Our server arrived very quickly and brought us waters while we decided on what to try. We ended up with each ordering a different mimosa flavor (cheers!) Hubs and daughter ordered the Rancheros bowl and I ordered quiche, but OOPS, they were all out at 10a on a Sunday so the server recommended the breakfast sandwich instead. My sandwich was just ok- I pulled about 1/2 the cheese off it and the bun was pretty plain so only ate half of it. The potatoes were top notch. Hubs and daughter really didn't care for the bowls. They described it as 'tons of tortilla chips with several spoonfuls of beans plus two eggs.' After thinking about it they would have preferred a different 'base' than chips and a lot more salsa might have made this taste better. The pumpkin pie for her birthday was the highlight and she said she would definitely order this again. HUGE meringue on this thing! The place is busy- so we were all in for 90 mins- which was fine as it was a celebration. Total was about $100 before tip (pie was comped for bday). Server was super friendly as well as food runners.

Yelp
2.5. Meh, this was so-so -- good ambiance but disappointing food. The service was pretty good once we were seated (though there was a ~15 minute wait to be seated on the patio because they were switching over to dinner service). It was also really pleasant to be outside -- not too hot or too cold with the heat lamps. Less positive things: the burgers, one ordered medium and the other medium-well, were both well done. The fries were wayyyy overcooked -- hard and dark brown, without any fluffy potato inside. Not really acceptable for $19. The salad I ordered was supposed to have egg and definitely didn't. Pretty disappointed food-wise.

Yelp
My boyfriend had been wanting to try this restaurant every time we drove by it for the past month. We went and had the best experience for lunch. The food was amazing, the ambiance was perfect, and the staff... Unbelievable! They were extremely attentive and so kind and made the experience remarkable. I would like to call out JD,Kai, and Jordan. They went above and beyond, and this has become one of our favorite places. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who hasn't been there. Don't drive by... Go in and have a wonderful experience!

Yelp
I love this place. It's very reliable. I really enjoyed the perfectly crafted lattes and cappuccinos here. Unlike the Los Angeles location, the phx location offers a full breakfast. I'm partial to the California breakfast bowl.

Yelp
Very nice restaurant/cafe, perfect for dinner or brunch. We went for Sunday brunch and say outside, it was ideal for perfect weather. They have a nice food and drink menu. I got 2 IPAs I hadn't had, and then an egg sandwich. No frills, but a good portion and tasty and not expensive. Inside the decor is nice, and if you don't want to sit down for a full meal, you can just go to the cafe part and get coffee to go. Servers were all nice, and good service. Plenty of parking, a big lot. I was just visiting from Chicago, but this was definitely one of the better restaurants I saw when in town.
