The Hidden House - Charleston

The food and drinks were amazing. I tried the salted pistachio white mocha, avocado toast, and Pop-Tart pastry. All were heavenly! The atmosphere and decor are unmatched. There are many different seating areas, each with their own vibe: a cozy living room, a moody speakeasy, a community dining table, the hopping bar, and an outdoor patio. This is the sweetest place downtown, hidden away off the beaten path.

A fantastic new addition tucked off King Street. It’s aptly named, takes a little bit of searching to find…it’s like the speakeasy of coffee! I stopped by during their soft opening and had a great experience. The coffee is top quality, honestly a different level than most Charleston coffee shops. Not sure where it’s from but it’s rich and balanced. The pastries were just as impressive: locally made and some of the best I’ve had in a long time (the homemade pop tart is worth the trip by itself). The staff was friendly and excited to share what they’ve created, and the whole space has a warm, welcoming vibe. You can tell a lot of heart went into this place. If you’re looking for a new go-to coffee spot, give them a try…enter the little courtyard and use the side door 👍

Loved visiting Hidden House Charleston. The coffee was delicious as well as the pastry and the atmosphere was great. It is beautifully decorated and the staff are amazing. Add grabbing coffee here to your to-do list!

I would plan another trip to Charleston just to come back here. By far the most beautiful coffee shop in Charleston, not to mention the best lattes my husband and I had our whole trip…and maybe ever. The lattes choices are so incredibly creative, made with wonderful espresso. We stumbled upon it after looking for coffee shops near our hotel during the last morning of our trip. The staff are so genuinely kind and the atmosphere is so cozy. It won’t be long until this is the most popular coffee stop in Charleston!

Absolutely blown away by the ambiance and atmosphere here at Hidden House. Everything here is bougie - from their still water to their lattes. I can see this being my second home. And let’s not forget the ladies that work here! I instantly connected with them.

I went to the soft open this morning and the space is so beautiful! I haven’t had coffee in 10 years but I was tempted to start again because all of their specialty coffee drinks sounded so delicious. I had a lavender coconut rooibos tea and it was SO GOOD!! Also took a Moroccan mint tea to-go and it was fantastic as well. I wasn’t hungry, but the to-go food and pastry case looked amazing. Can’t wait to see what more is to come for them :) Very cozy, chic little neighborhood spot to enjoy with friends or post up solo to get some work done.

Such a cute hidden gem in downtown Charleston! Perfect spot for a cozy family morning — great coffee, delicious pastries, and a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff is friendly, the space is charming, and it’s just far enough off the beaten path to feel special. Highly recommend!

Hidden House is not only the CUTEST coffee shop in Charleston, but their coffee actually tastes incredible. I’ve been in Charleston for 8 years, and this is one of the few coffee shops that I’ve enjoyed the taste of their coffee. Also if you’re looking for a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing place to cowork, this is 100% the place! It’s adorable and so beautiful decorated.
