I love their pizza but lately when I try to call it in, they don't answer the phone. I was there at 11:02 AM one day and I ask the lady, have they open yet? She said I don't know and kept doing what she was doing on the patio. I checked the front door and it was locked so I left. Her customer service was terrible. I've never seen her before. It wasn't the lady I usually see. The pizza is great though. The nightlife is great too. It's cool and laid back when I go.

This establishment has all you can eat catfish and fries on Monday’s. My first go round, they give me three catfish strips and some fries. My second go they gave me two catfish strips after about 30 minutes. It seems like a scam. They take so long to bring the next rounds out and give you less and less each time. It takes forever to get a beer. I ordered a Blue Moon and it took the waitress about 44 minutes to get a beer and the place was not even packed. This was my first time here visiting from Atlanta and it was not a good experience.

This place was absolutely amazing. Came in on a Monday for the all-you-can-eat catfish and was thoroughly surprised. At only $12 for the plate you can eat as much perfectly crispy fried catfish as you like. And the tartar sauce that's housemaid is absolutely divine. The best part of our experience was the server honey she was absolutely amazing you guys must go see her. Even has a nice nightlife with pool tables and live DJ. If you've never been here be sure to get in and check them out

Food and drinks are amazing. But nothing is like a night when DJ Flip is the DJ. His playlist is crazy. His music completes the whole vibe!!!

If you’re a sports fan, love to be surrounded by TVs and great music, and not even saying anything about the Buffalo 🦬 Bills…go, Bills…zoom here when the Bills play…extra sidebar…I’ve met Doug Flute at a family restaurant in Buffalo. Also, come in for a late lunch, like we did or when your favorite professional team’s playing.

I frequent this place a lot everyone there has great customer service and the drinks are reasonably priced & food is pretty good

The white female with long blonde hair is the rudest bartender I have ever encountered she literally cares nothing about customers service which lets me know the owner doesn’t either if he employs someone like this!! Please speak with her because due to I have a six figure salary I’m not trying to lose , she’s going to act this way with the wrong person and it’s not going to end the same way!!

Always a vibe here. The honey Cajun wings have me in a chokehold, sooooo delicious. The pizza is also a must have. I love the chicken stuffed jalapeños too! A great dive with great vibes. What a fun spot! Service was amazing and so helpful! Also the food is delicious and they have so much to choose from! I got the Philly cheesesteak and it was so freaking good I almost ordered another one.

Wow, every time I visit this place, it's always a great vibe. They feature a live DJ every night, and the food is absolutely incredible, especially for a bar. Every dish I've tried has been hot, fresh, well-seasoned, and simply delicious. On Mondays, they offer all-you-can-eat fish for just $11, and Tuesdays are $2 Taco Tuesdays. Wednesdays feature Steak and Chicken Fajitas with rice and beans for only $10. It's an amazing spot if you're on a budget or just looking to unwind with pool, sports, music, and reasonably priced drinks. It's definitely a must-visit. This time, we ordered the Fish and Blackened Shrimp Pasta. The portion size of the pasta was generous, and I initially thought I would take some home, but it was so delicious that I couldn't resist and finished it all. The fish was consistently hot and fresh throughout the meal. Trust me, you'll thank me later!

For people who like live Djs, dancing, and sports, this is the place to be. Unfortunately, I don't like any of these things. I was there to celebrate a friend's birthday. The food and drinks were pretty good. The staff were exceptional and provided exemplary service.

Server and service was great. Nothing to complain about. Crowd was over 50 regulars and others of course. Location was a little weird and guess why it's called my hideaway. Food was typical bar food. I was a little disappointed by the photo online for chicken stuffed jalapeños compared to what came out.

It was my first time here, my friend said he remembered coming here once before when we walked in. They do check ID, so please come prepared There's also a cover charge $10 per person And if you leave out there's a $5 per person fee each time. It was packed that's for sure. There was a nice Gentleman that saw me from afar and he offered me a chair to sit in. I'm not sure where he was but my guy was appreciative and Thanked him. We'll definitely return but next time it'll be much earlier.

We've come here for bills games twice now and it is such a fun environment! Having moved from Buffalo just two year ago they really have the buffalo feel during the games! Great wing prices and not bad wings for being out of buffalo. Fries are soo good!Labatt blue to get the home fix is a huge perk as well! Now I just wish they had the labatt seltzers too! Love this place for game day thanks to all the great servers that always keep our drinks full!

This place is a TIME. Perfect spot to catch a game and maybe make some new friends. It seemed like a lot of groups knew eachother and there may have even been some dancing. DJ was banging out early 2000s hiphop classics which was juuust . The service was great, wings were OUTSTANDING and the prices were reasonable. It gets packed on the weekends but it's a great time on a Saturday night. The only downside is that they charge a cover after 9 on the weekends and the parking lot gets packed. Other than that, go with friends or make some new ones. Definitely the spot for the 30+ crowd.

This place is always a good time! The wait staff and bartenders are super friendly and efficient. The food is always on point! The fries are a must have. They taste like they are cooked in duck fat. Deeeelish. They have all u can catfish in Monday's and daily drink specials.

I went to the Preston location on a Sunday night before heading to Memphis. paid $10 entry and the hostess was super nice. but! i stood in line to get a drink behind two other guys and this fat black chick came up a few minutes later with a couple of guys and just inserted herself In front of me. she then looked back at the Guys she was with as if to say "Look. It's no problem for me to just cut in line". i immediately left. I don't frequent places where people like that go. otherwise, it seemed like an old school urban club. right down to the Bathroom attendant like at the old Dreamz club on Greenville Ave. the music was not overly loud. Definitely a mostly Black crowd that night. I will try the location on Henderson instead.

This place has great food! Terrible bartenders and customer service. The owner is a liar as well! They also charge on whack random weekends

I had been here a few other times before but never on a Thursday. My friend told me to come because it's a different situation on Thursdays. She was correct I liked it old school music they had people in their plane checkers and cards it was real cool and late back. So I ordered some food which was delicious and at a great price point. The Mac and cheese was scrumptious and the wings were delicious and I had the bartender freestyle me drink. A special thank you to Jeff for the awesome drink. Especially thank you to Jeff for the awesome drink. Overall I had a great time and if you ever find yourself in the area on the Thursday and you like the old school music this is where you should be.

The service is the worst. No paper id that's legally assigned by the state of Texas since they're "privately owned". I've came multiple times here and today was the only day they've been upset about my paper id. Also why do you guys have 2 security checking ids and on the inside you have an automatic id scanner? The only thing worth coming is the wings to go. Everyone here is particularly rude but visiting Texas makes it extremely annoying to come here on specific days whenever certain security is here. Sometimes it's copacetic and sometimes we just can not come in. Very confused. 9/10 mainly black spots are hit and miss and today and the last 2 week it been miss.

On the weekend, this place is pretty lit. Service at the bar is the only reason I ding this place. Girl or guy, the bartenders are slow and rarely ever double back to customers if they've already served them a drink. Probably better for your wallet though lol. But the karaoke feels like a big family environment, it's basically a club with pool you can play. Lot of networking and vibes can be caught in here as a good alternative to a full club. Still a $10 entry fee.

Hideaway is a neighborhood friendly bar and sports venue! It can accommodate large parties. Their menu has variety! They have drink and food specials through the week. One of my favorites is Wednesday night fajitas, you get a very nice portion with sides for $10 plus tax. I also loooooove the pizza and hamburgers! You can easily go here and eat and drink for under 25.00! The servers/staff are friendly each time I go and get your order taken quickly!

I been coming to hideaway for 10 years and rarely run into problems. Today one of their "hat vendors" was extremely rude on the patio. Me and my friend showed up at around 530 pm and were having a great time. This "vendor" rudely asked me and my friend to "move cuz she needs to set up." She proceeds to roll this big speaker that hit my friend in the leg. A nice young lady that was with her offered us other seat but before we could sit down this "hat vendor" moves the chair we were offered. Idk what authority she was granted. All i heard was she was DJ SteveO cousin. Well i hope DJ SteveO has more manners than her. Didn't want to rate the bar down because i thoroughly enjoy this place. But this "hat vendor needs to be FIRED!" Hope management sees this review!

Stopped by this spot with a group on Friday evening and this place was lit! I thought it was just a club/lounge but it's also a karaoke bar. And while there was a mix of ages, it def seemed to skew towards the 30+ and up crowd. Quick ID check and $10 for cover will get you in. They've got a full bar, pool tables, and karaoke all sharing the space. The DJ did a pretty good job with the music and karaoke singers got a solo after the DJ played a few songs. It kept the energy up and it was definitely a lot of fun. Drinks were moderately priced, and the kitchen is open until late but has a fairly limited menu. All-in-all definitely a fun spot to visit, especially if you're into karaoke.

Every time I'm in the Dallas area, I have to stop in! I gave this spot a 4 Star because to be honest, there's nothing super special about this place in terms of the building or decor. However, the staff and people make the experience! The bartenders are fun, lively, honest, and straightforward. The music is always great! The people sitting around the bar always speak and not just stare. They have food too! The wings are bomb and we always get them on the way out! The kitchen closes pretty late as well (I think 1am).

I love it. It's my favorite place to go., when I needed a drink to wind down and some good food to eat, not to mention the unlimited amount of shooting pool and good music

This place reminds me of carros in Houston just a little updated. I had a great time. We missed happy hour but drinks were reasonably priced. $8 for lemon drop and $7 for a glass a wine. We lucked up and got seats at the bar. The bartenders are amazing! They were quick and efficient. I have never seen bartenders move that fast. Hookah was $40. It was definitely a vibe. Next time we'll make sure we get there a few hours earlier.

Ok so this place is SOOOO much larger than I thought it'd be. Huge bar area Plenty of TVs for sports Billiards take up about half of the space Nice sized patio area with more TVs Heck I'm sure they get a dance floor going at some point cuz I see the dj setup. I was expecting a DIVE bar. I am not saying I'm disappointed, just surprised . It's a nice neighborhood bar As I'm writing this, there's a screaming match going on between some patrons lol Kinda puts it back into dive bar status HOWEVER the food looks good from what my neighbors at the bar ordered And the service was super friendly and fast. If you're lucky , you'll meet the kindly man simply named THE COWBOY.. say hello to him You won't regret it The fight seemed to end amicably.. just FYI Back to enjoying the UT game.

First time I visited it was great. Second time they instituted an id policy where you have to have an id that can be scanned. I haven't had time to get to the dmv because of work and have a temporary. I'm 39 and showed up wearing a tailored suit. They would not even let me in. It was ridiculous. I have a valid temporary and don't even look close to underage. My hair is turning gray. I don't know if I will go back I was so insulted

Love this Buffalo Bills bar and vibe.... First time in Dallas and first time here and truly feel right at home. Chilling with my fellow Bills fans watching the game, drinking a beer and eating some great food! What could be better?!?! Oh right... we are winning

Came here this weekend with a friend while looking for something fun to do. * This place isn't fancy or but like a regular local bar. * Bartenders are nice * There is a smoke area outside right near the middle of the place which fills the air with the smell of what Smoky was selling on Friday (haha). *Dance area is soo tiny it's almost nonexistent. * They have pool tables, had people playing Dominos and spades * They sale food, but I didn't try anything. The plates where full though. * It's the club. Ladies have their best spandex, low cute V's and heels on. Dude have their jeans and Jordans on. *There is tons of regulars. *The mark down is for the door man whose gives No (Poops) about being kind to you. No good customer service. Makes you want to turn around and leave before you get into the door. *We paid $10 per person to get in around 9:30 on a Saturday. Has a decent vibe, and definitely something to on the boring night out.

In town and just looking for a chill spot, I came here Saturday night before they closed for like 30mins and had 1 cocktail (peach long Island). We came back to chill on Monday before I left Dallas. I was with 3 others and they all raved about the food, advising that all the menus items are really good. I opted for the steak quesedillas, made with special requests. Which they deliciously executed. Lol. The drinks were tasty, the dj was from CHICAGO (DOPENESS), and the patrons were friendly too. I enjoyed the spot & would go back!

So I came in today with my boyfriend. We sat at the bar. It was around 3:00 and not very busy. The bartender did not even acknowledge us. We sat for five minutes while she took care of everyone around us. Not even a "hello". She finally came over to us and basically threw the bev naps down and asked us what we wanted. Literally "what do you guys want?" She never came back to see how we were doing. It was terrible. I will never go back.

The DJ on Saturday night sucks old school R&B and he won't play nothing else ..even if I pay him he still stuck in the 90s...WTF it's 2023... if I could give it a negative review I would

Watch out for this place specifically on sunday nights. The bartenders add automatic gratuity to A SINGLE persons ticket. I can only imagine how much money they stole sunday. Working in the entertainment industry these folks are dead wrong. A tip is a CHOICE. Since when is automated gratuity a requirement for A SINGLE person check or under 7 in a group? Anytime they charge at the door WATCH OUT. We were so appalled at how we watched the bartender make the drinks WRONG fill the cups with mixers ! Not give a whole shot literally pouring and stopping before the bottle automatically stops itself. I have been to hideaway many times and never had this issue til this past sunday. WATCH EVERY RECEIPT YOU GET literally stealing money not enough bartenders, not enough customer service. Way too many people in the establishment for such mishaps. Totally offended by the actions of the staff. As black folks we don't make ourselves look good by STEALING. I loved the hideaway and i will NEVER return after being stolen from. I mean the bartenders will not even give you a receipt that shows what you even buy because they don't want you to see the price and see the gratuity they automatically added sick and disrespectful & giving nasty broke. Dont play with my money

My fellow Yelper & friend Tiffany invited me here to have a few drinks after work. It's a cool little dive bar with good drink specials, karaoke and a live dj. The great thing about this bar is that they have happy hour 7 days a week. The specials vary depending on the day. On Monday's happy hour is all day & night & on Friday's they have $3 you call it until 8 pm. If your a beer drinker they have $5 pitchers on Sunday's. My Hideaway also has a small patio that seats maybe 20 people and they also have some decent bar food with HUGE portions. Overall, this is a cool little spot to kick back and have some drinks after a long work week. I'll definitely be back.

Had never stepped inside this place until last night, about 5 pm just to have a few beers. As I walked thru the door I was asked to be patted down???? Anytime one has to be patted down in a bar just to have a few beers says it all...I turned around and walked out!

I go here during the day to shoot pool. This review is pretty much only for the pool tables, bar service, and food. I've never been here past 6pm so can't speak for that. I can say however the tables are here are slick. Kept very well, spaced apart properly and house cues are in good condition. Definitely recommend this place to anyone trying to shoot around at a low-key, not crowded place near richardson (ahem *rack daddy's*). Did you ask about the food? They serve pretty much only bar food, nothing too healthy but goodness me. Their portions are enormous. the food is so tasty. Everything they make, they make pretty much perfectly. Though it's not hard to mess up a burger or nachos or wings or bar food, but they do it right every time. Bartenders are awesome, so helpful and polite too. If I'm in Dallas with a free afternoon to shoot pool then this is the place I go

My Hideaway is one of those places where you're not pressed to get all dressed up just to have a good time. It's a very lowkey bar with cheap drinks, basic food, and entertainment. I'm guessing Friday nights are specifically for karaoke, so if that's your thing... you will definitely fall in love with this spot. Parking was a breeze! It's in an open lot with plenty spaces. Also, there's no cover charge or an obnoxiously long line to get in. Needles to say my experience was positive. My only complaint were the quesadillas, I had to send them back because the cheese was clumpy and room temp. I could see how you could become a regular at My Hideway if you live in Addison, but since I don't... I am not in rush to return back anytime soon.

Bad service by JR. Rudest person ever encountered at this place in 5 years. Chicken wings overcooked. Their prices are marked up by 35% compared to website prices for food. Informed friends to not invite me to this place again.

I like to think of this place as a hidden gem. I've been a couple times but wasn't really sure how I felt about it until yesterday. On Monday's, they have $1 wells and unlimited catfish for $11. Say whatttt? That said, whatever well Tequila they use is trash, so I'd stay away from that. But surprisingly enough, the catfish was decent! I didn't get a picture because I was so hungry, but it's not skimpy and has a decent flavor. Did I mention it was unlimited..? If you come on a Fri night I'd suggest getting there early, last time it was so crowded we couldn't even get a table. It appeared empty but literally all of their tables were "reserved". It's deff. a place with an older crowd, but they have a bar, seating, a couple pool tables, TVs for sports, outdoor seating and etc. I want to say they even have a juke box? Overall, a decent place with decent food. Note if you have 5 people they will charge you gratuity. I'll be back!

I went here with some coworkers that I didn't really know, as sort of a "blind lunch". Usually in these instances, someone picks a safe place that everyone would like, and is pretty tame. I was surprised when we pulled up to this place, which looks like the dive bar from the Simpson's on the outside. We walked in I could immediately tell that this wasn't the normal lunch spot that my crowd would go to. This is probably the only place where you'll see a two guys playing pool with gloves on during lunch time on a Tuesday. I'm not knocking it at all though, very friendly service, and did not smell like cigarettes at all. The food was surprisingly good, and the fries were the perfect level of crispiness. I'm probably never going to go here again, but I could see how it would be a fun time if you want to try and hustle some pool sharks when you take a break from filing your expense reports.

So, I've been here quite a few times & the vibes have pretty much been the same. The crowd is normally older I would say 30+ so I normally stick out as the young one but it doesn't bother me much. Most older crowds behave in a mature manner. No butt grabbing or excessive behavior all up in your face! I have never felt like I was being attacked in any way. Drink pricing? Eh, unless its written in chalk on the pole you don't know. But based on my receipt for 2 drinks last night, I'll PASS! Also it seems they don't know how to make certain drinks & just throw something together which is a waste of money. If you don't know look it up or I'm more than willing to tell you how to. Actually, I almost wanted to ask if they were hiring for bartenders because they need help. Besides that there is always people doing karaoke, playing pool & dominoes & just vibin'. Overall, It's a cool spot on a Friday night if you just wanna kickback & chill. Pros: No cover, decent size venue, pool tables, big screens for music videos & lyrics for karaoke, large bar area, free parking & decent food. Cons: BAR service! I cannot stress how important it is to have enough bartenders at the bar to accommodate a large crowd. This is a MAJOR issue for this bar. You stand there for 15 mins if not more just trying to get a bartender to stop & take your order; can really kill your vibe. Oh & finding a seat can be hard too at times.

This place had alot going on. They had singing, pool, dominoes and eating. The bartenders had to deal with a large crowd so there was a wait for the drinks and the seating was limited. I didn't try the food but it looked pretty good. I'm not into eating at dark crowded club like settings. I only had beers because people tend to skip cleaning steps when it's a crowd. I did enjoy the singing, it was some really talented people on the mic. The place had a good neighborhood feel and for what it was it was a nice spot.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon to watch college football. The place is spacious and clean with lots of pool tables and TVs. (There's a patio area, but not many TVs there, and it was in direct sunlight at the time.) There was one gal running the whole place when I got there, but she was doing a great job. Friendly, too. I had the brisket tacos and two gin and tonics for less than $20, which seemed pretty cheap. The first gin and tonic was well gin, and it was nasty. I got Tanqueray Ten on my 2nd for not much more, and realized I shouldn't have been so cheap the first time. The brisket tacos were delicious. They came with beans, which were very tasty, and copious amounts of "fixings" for the tacos (lettuce, cheese, pick de gallo). So much so, in fact, that I got a side of the spicy ranch and made a salad out of it. I'll definitely be back.

I would frequent this bar all the time if it was in my neighborhood. This is a dive bar with hints of themes and events on certain nights. This place offers great value because the prices are inexpensive. The service is a little slow, the food is ok, the drinks are strong but nothing special. This is a great place to meet some people and unwind.

Ok..So one thing i dont do is DISRESPECT!!! The HIDEAWAY is my favorite ghetto getaway.The food is AWESOME!! Big ups to "Bill" the owner. However, I don't feel safe when one members of your staff "DJ Bobby" feels like he can disrespect me by displaying disrespectful behavior towards me in front of the entire bar. He needs to watch his mouth and stop disrespecting the customers for no apparent reason or any reason for this matter..I dont appreciate the disrespect and public humiliation i was so cowardly served in this establishment on tonight.This Dj Bobby somebody has verbally disrespected me before and i let it go! BUT not this time..I dont have to come to this ghetto shit on FRIDAYs to be disrespected by your Friday night D.J. Please address this matter asap because im not going to let this go this time..
