I’ve been living in Miami for 4 years, and as a big coffee lover and regular, I can confidently say that Hideout Café is hands down the best coffee shop in town. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, making it a great place to start your day or catch up with friends. Special mention to their peanut butter bowl—it’s honestly one of the best breakfasts you can have in Miami. Fresh ingredients, delicious flavor, and always beautifully presented. If you’re serious about good coffee and great food, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended!

Google
That’s a hidden paradise of healthy food with just amazing team! Thank you all for being so special! The avocado toast with mushrooms rocks! PS. Doesn’t matter in which mood you enter this location- you will definitely leave it totally happy, with an uplifted spirit and beautiful smile on your face! 🙏🏻🫶🏼

Had 4 hours to spare after a cruise and our flight home. We sat outside the entire time and loved every minute. Cappuccino was delicious and my partner and I split the Thai cashew power bowl. She also ordered the watermelon juice and loved it. Service was great. Highly recommend this place!!

Google
I cafe-hop throughout Miami always looking for good spots to work/study that have great vibes, and this is by far the best cafe in Miami. I’ve quickly realized it’s less of a cafe and more of a meetup spot for a welcoming community. The staff, owner, and customers are all extremely friendly and make you feel like a part of a wonderful group within Miami. The name couldn’t be more appropriate as it truly is my Hideout from the rest of the life! I also love that they’ve included more healthy vegan options like the tofu toast which is incredible!

Love this hidden cafe up one level from the street near a cool big park in Edgewater. Delicious fresh-squeezed (right there) OJ. Wonderful latte (went back later for a second one). Super nice staff. Loved the quirky, arty decor inside. Outside (you are one flight up) is a deck area with tables and plants and other seating and partial views of the water. I used to go to the Mermaid, an artist-created guesthouse in SoBe in the 90s and it had a unique spirit of how SoBe was in that time (which I've always associated with Miami as I liked it best) -- tropical, arty, boho, fun, casual, friendly, yet also with a real sense of style. This is the first place I've found that gave me that same wonderful feeling again.... People working there were so nice. Had some tasty sweet banana bread too. Mostly just loved hanging out there.

We loved our first experience here! Heard of this place on TikTok and wow did it live up to the hype! The food is amazing we enjoyed the eggocado toast and Caesar wrap which were absolutely delicious and flavorful! We also had two smoothies the chocolate pb & Erick’s addiction which were both so yummy were truly addicted now. We choose a banana bread loaf and as a surprise we were given a chocolate cookie by the staff. THE COOKIE STOLE THE WHOLE SHOW OMG SO GOOD! He was so friendly and informative on the food choices and helped us pick out our food and also brought it to us. Amazing customer service and this place is also so aesthetically pleasing it was a wonderful experience all around 10/10 in all aspects! We will be returning to try out more of their mouthwatering food!

Google
This place is incredible, literally not a single bad item on the menu and the vibes are wonderful. I'm always trying something new but I go back to the Wild Caught Salmon Bowl the most. The couscous is delicious and I add it or substitute it on my other orders as well. What sets Hideout Cafe apart from others is its beautiful garden area, providing a serene and picturesque setting to enjoy your meal. Surrounded by greenery, it's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city with ocean views in the distance.

Google
The environment here is so comfortable and friendly. There are messages everywhere encouraging you to be happy and be yourself, so that eases any nervousness one might have upon arrival. There is so much greenery and matching decor that just flat out looks cool, so spending your time inside or out never feels boring. There are also games and jigsaw puzzles to indulge in, so spending extra time there isn't out of the question. The customer service was wonderful. I got my food quickly and without any hassle. Watching the employees interact with regulars made me smile, as they seem to really enjoy working here. Lastly, the food. I got a cold brewed iced coffee ($6), and an egg-ocado toast ($14). I believe they were worth the price. The coffee had a good flavor and the egg-ocado toast was the best avocado toast I think I have ever or will ever eat in my life. I absolutely recommend it. Visiting Miami from Minnesota, I think this is a great stop for breakfast for any tourist. Not too pricey either!

Yelp
Talk about Hidden Gem. Im visiting from NYC and was looking for a cool place to work from while my friend was working in his apartment. This place was a few blocks away and i decided to check it out, and im so happy I did! I like that they have creative options for coffee and smoothies, but more than anything i just loved the vibe. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners Brice, such a nice guy. I will be coming back here every day for the rest of the week while im visiting and trying all the coffee drinks, also to get some work done. If you're looking for a chill place to work , or grab a healthy snack and some good coffee, this place is a vibe!

Yelp
I'm new to the neighborhood and was looking for a coffee to start my day. This place is walking distance from me so I decided to give it a go. Energy is important to me and while the area may seem very "instagrammable" this place didn't give off that inauthentic- do it for the gram- vibe. Which, I greatly appreciate! What stood out to me the most is the intention and purpose behind the decor. Specific books, quotes, games, decor-- it's tailored for people on their grind and getting things done; the 5am club no BS energy. I like this as it aligns with my mindset. Apart from this, they have a robust menu and it does seem to have some moderate foot traffic in the mornings. I ordered an Americano and went about my day. Overall, it was a good experience and I'll likely be going back. Side note: seems like they may do yoga classes and have fitness groups. Good to know for those looking to stay active and meet people in the community.

Yelp
The Hideout I had been popping up all over my Insta that it was about time I tried it out! I met up with my friend to help her with wedding planning and I was surprised at how tucked away this cafe is! It was surprisingly not busy and they had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I really enjoyed the ambiance and decor they had thought the cafe. We got smoothies which were delicious and you can keep your reusable straw! Definitely check out this place!

Yelp
So my review is mixed. I really liked my avocado toast with hard boiled egg for $14. I would give that 5 stars. Bread was tasty. Plenty of avocado. Flavor was subtle and nice. However the açaí bowl was not really açaí - 2 stars. Don't come here for açaí . The açaí was diluted with some kind of stuff that made it pretty unauthentic. Disappointing Overall. I still have it 4 stars as the place is cute and I would be back for the avocado toast.

Yelp
On my Saturday morning walk I finally decided to try it for a coffee. It's on the pricier end , but you are paying for great quality ingredient, decor and beautiful ambiance. Great music and The employees are very friendly and they enjoy working here. I got the AÇAÍ BOWL ($16) and also got a COLD BREWED ICED COFFEE ($6) and wow, love it. Not acid at all. They have a 3D printer and u can see working during your waiting This place is beautiful, has a vibrant atmosphere, and unique flavor combinations. It's definitely a place to come back and worth a try!

Yelp
I loved the Erik's Addiction smoothie with espresso and protein. It's a gives you a sense of having a "cheat meal" while being quite healthy.
google avatar

Yelp
The Hideout is a cute spot if you're close to 22nd and Biscayne/Bayshore for a bite to eat and chill vibes to hangout. There's an amazing amount of options for your avocado toast fix! I love how there are also a bunch of plants for purchase and 3D machine-created pots with fun and cool characters and themes! Be sure to support this local spot in Edgewood!

Chloe P.

Yelp
Food is bomb. Could cry that I don't see the chicken Caesar wrap on the menu anymore I used to get that weekly. PLEASE BRING IT BACK. Staff is lovely, literally all of them. Good vibes and the coffee is amazing
google avatar

Martha C.

Yelp
So glad this spot survived the pandemic and still provides unique and tasty drinks and food to our Edgewater neighborhood. The new salmon avocado toast is excellent (though large serving with two loaded pieces of toast, you might want to split with a friend).
google avatar

Areen H.

Yelp
Came for the Breechays special iced coffee drink (because frozen coconut--sold) and stayed to admire just a casual 3D printer they got cranking at the front printing really cool artsy planters and decor pieces. I didn't get his name, but I appreciated the guy that was helping me with my coffee order also showing me some other cool pieces. Apparently you can bring in an idea or visual to 3D print (for a price). They have some cool ones on display on the shelf at the front--my favorite being the Rick & Morty . If you have time to stay and hang or get some work done, the inside is pretty small but aesthetic, there were def a couple guys having a meeting in there. However, the outside seating was more my jam. The shop itself is above ground level, so their outside feels like a front porch x garden vibe sitting surrounded by all sorts of plants and pretty patio.
google avatar

Kimberly K.

Yelp
This is my new favorite work space when I need to get out the house and change my environment! The aesthetic is super homey and cozy with fresh plants in every corner. I'm obsessed over their balcony set up, they made it so comfortable to work in! It's very chill and easy to connect with the community, make friends with locals who come by, while also staying focused on work. The menu there is pure brain food satisfaction. They have healthy vegan options from variety of avocado toasts, empanadas, smoothie bowls, matcha & coffee draaanks, lattes, smoothies, and of course... COOKIES!!! The cookies are made fresh daily in house, warmed up upon order from the oven, chewy and gooey. The flavors are next level heaven. The Campfire cookie is my favorite to indulge in for its ooey chocolate chips, sprinkled with sea salt. Their empanadas are baked with love and served with a side of fresh guacamole. Lentil and Hawaiian cabbage are the winners for me. Their mushroom avocado toast is lovely to share. I wanna try EVERYTHING on this menu!

Yelp
I love this place, everything here is delicious and they have lots of healthy options . Never the less I can't give them a five star review due to covid issues with the place. Is this place covid save?: NOOOO I would give them 0 star is posible due to COVID but the food is so good and the place was complete empty at the time we were there that I have decided not to do it. There is not a single member of the star wearing mask, gloves or any kind of covid protection, also the clients that were getting in non of them were using masks , just me and my husband. We grabbed our food and ran outside to a very nice area they have were we were able to be alone. location: Is very weird to get there because the building in front of it it is in construction and the street is blocked . So you will have a bit of a challenge finding the place but the name is The Hideout so I guess it fits Pay by phone is not to expensive in the area so you are gonna be fine the food!! Delicious, We ordered Eric's addiction ( is a healthy smoothie ) love it Campfire cookies (too sweet for my test but good) Capuchino (ny husband said it was one of the best capuchinos he has had in Miami) the staff The staff is very friendly and fast, ‼only problem is they do not wear masks at all .

Erin C.

Yelp
The best little neighborhood spot! Everything is amazing and the vibe is so cute with lots of plants and art. They have great shroom coffee and make the best bowls...Also, Ari is the sweetest!
google avatar

Nathan D.

Yelp
Dropped in for a quick sandwich and try these cookies ive been seeing. The sandwich was delicious! I got the eggocado sandwich.. good flavor.. very appeaing visually ... as well as filling. If i get it again ill ask if there is an option to have the eggs scrambled. Now on to the cookies.. i got the peanut butter chocolate chip, the cookies and cream, and the campfire. Was hoping I'd love them all.. but 1 of the 3 was a win. The peanut butter had a consistency that i didn't really like.... it was soft but super crumbly.. I couldn't even pick it up with out it falling apart . it also didn't have much flavor to it. The cookies and cream was more on the sugary side.. no richness. The Campfire was really good though.. so i'd definitely get that again!

Yelp
Came here for a quick pick me up before south beach! Got the latte with whole milk and cold brew. The latte was more milk than coffee but worked out for me cause I like it more on the milky side! My girlfriend got the cold brew which she said it taste like a standard cold brew and does not taste too acidic. However I personally feel like their was an after taste to it. The açaí bowl was pretty good though. The açaí was more creamy than other places I've had as I believe they mix it with coconut milk. They don't use granola but more like grains so taste a lot more healthy. Overall I would come here again if I needed another pick me up but healthier version. Next time I come here I'll get the latte again and maybe try the Brice bowl or one of the avocado sandwiches!
google avatar

Stephy M.

Yelp
I decided to come here to study and eat lunch. The place is beautiful with a nice ambiance. I ordered to cool smoothie with pineapple and mint thinking I'd be able to taste the pineapple... no. The mint was over powering I couldn't taste it. But still good. I also ordered the savory avo toast with mushrooms. I love mushrooms but they seemed to have been soaked in water or Some liquid that gave it a taste I did not like. I asked what was popular before ordering but the person stated that everything was good.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing place ! So glad to find this hidden gem ! By far my favorite healthy, clean coffee shop in here Miami ! Service is amazing too notch ! Erik the owner is amazing ! You can tell he really cares about others and business , he hand selects all the ingredients - clean , unprocessed , no sugar , junks in all the food/ drinks he serves. The best of the best !!!! Prices are so reasonable ! Can't even compare this hidden gem to other popular places like Pura vida . Highly recommended ! If you're very health conscious in what you put in your body, this is the place !!!!
google avatar

Carol L.

Yelp
They make homemade unsweetened almond milk at this coffee smoothie café. I had fresh squeezed raw watermelon juice. Cappuccino with unsweetened homemade almond milk and cinnamon. I also got a shot of raw ginger juice. Delicious! Customer service is amazing here too. They have a nice little area to sit inside or out.
google avatar

Aldana A.

Yelp
Can I just say BEST cookies in Miami ? My friend told me that I had to try out the cookies and drinks at this spot. And I was shocked by how GOOOOOOD this place is. The cookies were freshly made even came right out the oven. The cookies are so satisfying and gooey. Definitely beats the other cookie spots in Miami. Sooooooo many options ! Even vegan and dairy free ones. I got the brecheys drink. Highly recommend. So refreshing and vegan friendly. There were lots of small bites there also. People were chatting away. A good spot for a catch up or to sit down and work even. ANDDDDD they give a reusable straw! Love love this place ! Coming back :D
google avatar

Jennifer J.

Yelp
Got the matcha & expresso Breechay's special - it has coconut milk and a scoop of ice cream. Taste amazing! Service is wonderful too. There is great vibes and I love the plant life here too

Julie R.

Yelp
I did not have an enjoyable experience when I was here. I found the staff to be dismissive and have a rude attitude. Felt extremely disrespected. Will not be back
google avatar

Master Vicente A.

Yelp
The Hideout Cafe is a small place where you find nature in the middle of the miami beach metropolis and the creative design of the owner, with a very healthy menu and a selection of coffee and nutritious drinks, everything I ordered was delicious and exquisite and the attention The customer is first class very friendly and the price is in accordance with the Quality of service they offer. Thanks to the team at the Hideout Cafe.
google avatar

Manuel M.

Yelp
Great little spot for a healthy option in Edgewater. The chicken avocado toast was delicious. The Acai bowl was also pretty good. It's a must try
google avatar

Jamie B.

Yelp
Love the vibe at this cute coffee shop! However, the Chai tea I ordered tasted like warm milk with not much flavor.
google avatar

Nanci A.

Yelp
All I can say is WOW.. stopped into to this little gem on the way to the beach.. was greeted with the most genuine incredible , knowledgeable staff.. we had vanilla oat milk lattes and honestly, not even exaggerating, it was one of the best I've ever had. The service is fast and welcoming. We sat down in the hideout, with our computers and dog.. fast wi-fi btw... and dog friendly :) can't wait to try the food next time! It's definitely a vibe here!
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
This place is amazing. When you walk in you are hit by the umami smell coming from the kitchen. The staff is so welcoming and knowledgeable! I came in after I saw their mushroom and avocado toast on social media and soon after discovered the frozen coconut drink with Matcha- SOLD. The mushroom avocado toast was to die for. I loved how they marinated the mushrooms. The mushrooms are what really sells this dish. Everything is made fresh to order with care.. and it shows. I got the Breechay Special with Matcha and I made it dirty by adding a shot. This was fabulous. The only thing I would recommend is going very light on maple sugar they add to the bottom (or none at all which I will try next time) as when it got to the end it was too sweet for my taste. This drink was so refreshing and delicious. What I loved about it was the frozen coconut.. stellar combo. Can't wait to go back for another! Thanks for being so welcoming.
google avatar

Naomi S.

Yelp
What a great spot. Love the earthy, laid back vibe, and more importantly, the delicious, creative drinks. I tried the coconut milk, coconut cream drink with a shot of espresso and it was incredible-- rich and creamy, a tad sweet, and nice and cold. Left me caffeinated and feeling decadent because the coconut cream had the consistency of an ice cream-- what a treat! Also love their bamboo straws-- keep them and reuse them to reduce waste! I'll be a regular.
google avatar

Daniela B.

Yelp
Hideout is a definitely one of Miami's hidden gems. With all the construction being done around the city it's hard to find street parking, but there is actually a parking lot less than 100 feet from the location. I would recommend this place to anyone from a health nut to a real foodie. The menu i had the best of everything; avocado toast... empanadas! Acai bowls, lots of smoothies to choose from AND some fire cookies!!!! Literally campfire cookies are on the menu! Everything is worth the price for fresh quality ingredients. We had an awesome experience, the service was super friendly and we were even gifted these bamboo straws. The place is very instagramable too, lots of cute picture ops.
google avatar

Monica L.

Yelp
This place is on the pricier end, but you are paying for good quality food and beautiful decor and ambiance. The employees that work here are very friendly and it's evident that they enjoy working here, which makes me happy to see. We got the acai bowl, which was a joy to eat, as well as the PB bowl--yet sweet delicious combo (who can say no to pb-banana-cinnamon?) The pistachio protein balls were also ok, though I would suggest using less dates. We also got a coffee with coconut milk and syrup and wow! What a killer combo! This place is beautiful, has a vibrant atmosphere, and unique flavor combinations. It's definitely worth a try!
google avatar

Richard R.

Yelp
Worst açaí bowl I have ever tried, it was literally inedible. Service was extremely slow even though we were the only people in the cafe. The girl at the front desk should really find a new job she a has a horrible attitude. Only good thing was the cookie because even the coffee was watered down. Oh and above all overpriced.
google avatar

Tony Q.

Yelp
LOVE THIS SPOT! every time we are in the area, we always stop by for a cookie and a healthy drink! the staff is wonderful. you can see how passionate they are about the business and everything is made with love. treat your body with good fuel. my favorite is the Breechay's Special with matcha (you also have the option to get it with espresso) is the perfect summer drink. the coconut cream concoction on top was just comes with a bamboo straw too. this place is a hidden gem
google avatar

Viviana H.

Yelp
The Hideout Cafe offers DELICIOUS options of coffee, smoothies, juices, wellness shots, sweet treats, and small bites all of which is served with love and a smile. Every purchase you make you have the opportunity to enroll in their points program where you can use your points to purchase some of their menu items! They have an indoor and outdoor seating area, both of which have a wonderful ambiance. I am an addict mainly (lol) to the BREECHAY'S Special and I always make it dirty ! Their vibe is high, always giving back to the community and they provide a fill your own water bottle station, bamboo straws, events and MORE !! I LOVE YOU TEAM VINCHAY!
google avatar

Melissa J.

Yelp
Not only is it a convenient walk down the block from me, but it's super delicious and has a great vibe! I recommend the watermelon juice for those mornings you need a little more hydration, and their chicken Caesar wrap is so tasty. I also recommend their avocado toast. Prices are very fair for the portion served. Always got good music going on and the staff is always friendly!
google avatar

Rick S.

Yelp
This is an awesome place. I go here all the time. Great food, coffee is amazing. The vibe is great a nice quiet place to HIDEOUT. They do a lot of community events like yoga and boot camps, Jam Sessions. I'd highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Puja B.

Yelp
I have never been to this gem but I constantly order their chocolate PB smoothie. I constantly go on their IG to convince myself this is healthy based on their marketing but it tastes just too good to be healthy. Either way, I go on their IG, see their awesome photos and fit messages and think, it's okay Puja. This isn't cheating. This is healthy. It's so creamy, and textured with cocoa nib and peanut buttery heaven. Now on the other hand, the cookie bombs cannot be healthy. They taste too good! The campfire cookie is so chocolatey with a touch of salt. I literally baked a batch of cookies at home yesterday to prevent myself from impulsively buying these cookies. If this place is truly healthy- then it is a heaven sent!
google avatar

Sam E.

Yelp
Love this place! I came early AM and it was a great way to start the day. I started with the iced coffee which was very fresh and light. Followed that with the matcha green tea latte which I got iced and with almond milk which was also refreshing and tasty. But the best part by far was their avotoast. I got the eggocado and topped it with mushrooms. It was out of this world! Really good combination of flavor with the right balance of sweet and savory. It was served on crispy whole grain bread and they gave a spicy Mayo on the side which made it even more next level. You can choose to get the avocado mashed or sliced per your preference. Because everything was so good I even indulged in some of their cookies. But it's ok because I finished it all with a cleansing turmeric + ginger shot which felt great for my digestion. This place has a great atmosphere as well; they play really good music, the staff are very friendly, and the lounge is very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone as there's something for everyone.
google avatar

Ashley L.

Yelp
I'm really glad I stumbled upon this place while staying down the street on Christmas Day. The outdoor seating vibes are immaculate with a bayside view surrounded by greenery & gardens. The food is on the healthier side too. A great alternative to a coffee shop if you need to sit and chill somewhere for a few hours.
google avatar

Maria B.

Yelp
Awesome spot. The healthy menu options are delicious and the staff is great! The outside seating options are super comfortable and pet friendly.
google avatar

Sangram S.

Yelp
To be honest, the name of the place is very suited for what it is! Definitely a hideout cafe! We went there for the first time and it felt like it was ran by employees who loved working there. We had the chicken avocado toast and the egg avocado toast, nothing was left on the plane when we were done. The plants are amazing! Well taken care of!
google avatar

Laura K.

Yelp
I originally found this little spot from Yelp, because it's right around the corner from my new place. When I walked in I felt so at peace -- it has such a cute interior filled with live plants that are actually for sale, you can buy pretty much any plant they have out on display. I introduced myself to Caro, one of the employees and we had such a nice conversation while I waited for my coffee. The coffee was so good that I actually came back again later on that day for another! Any opportunity that I have the ability to support a smaller, local business, I will. This is my new favorite coffee spot and if you're wondering if you should check it out, consider this your sign!
google avatar

Maddie L.

Yelp
The best! Delicious and fresh. The staff is kind and overall great vibe. Great place for a smoothie or quick bite.
google avatar

Kaylah T.

Yelp
The staff is super cool and incredibly nice. When I thought my mask had accidentally been thrown away, the employee was completely willing to dive into the trash bin to help me look for it. I tried the campfire cookie (really good), and had an espresso. The prices are great, the environment is chill... would definitely come again.
google avatar

Michelle V.

Yelp
This place feels like a nice homey place to sit and relax. I am just visiting but next time I come to Miami I will definitely visit again. I just got a small pot of tea but really enjoyed my time there and Never felt rushed
google avatar

Reggie P.

Yelp
I am always looking for local spots to check out while traveling. I heard about The Hide Out from the front desk at the Conrad and walked down to check it out. I was not disappointed - I meet Brice one of the owners who was super friendly and gave some excellent suggestion. I walked over for a coffee and ended up ordering a few things on the menu. I highly suggest checking this spot out if your in town . It has a great vibe and an excellent menu - Here is what I had - Egg - Ocado Toast and a cup of shroom coffee Brice - thanks

Rick S.

Yelp
This is an amazing place! Great vibe awesome food and drinks. Also they have CBD! Fresh Juices. Legit coffee. I live upstairs and it's my go to place from now on.
google avatar

Celeste K.

Yelp
Best café in Miami! I've visited several times since I moved to Edgewater two years ago and they never disappoint. Their Chicken Avocado Toast is AMAZING! Since I've been visiting, they have made some changes to the menu, while leaving their staple items, and they keep getting better and better. The place is very cozy and homey. They have a super cute outdoor area to sit down and relax. The staff is super nice (and also extremely attractive, which never hurts). Ask for Belen or Caro! They are super nice and will give you excellent recommendations while making you feel right at home. I can't say enough good things about this place. You just have to visit if you live in Miami or if you are just visiting.

Yelp
We had a breakfast this Morning. Lot of fun and great cookies. Fresh and Excellent !!! Thank you Hideout Cafe you made my day
