The Hive

The Hive was a fine time. Music, lights, accessible drinks…however…. The lights are entirely too bright. It looks like they put a lot of money into the decor and lighting system but none of it was really matching the music. Mostly felt randomly timed. The bar and restrooms were pretty accessible; although the bartender never pointed out that 20% tip was already included; so I was tipping on top of an already expensive tab. I also really am not fond of the VIP tables being between the DJ and dance floor. I think it causes an unnecessary eye contact with the VIP table guests and non VIP patrons. I paid a deposit for a section to enjoy my Bachelorette weekend on April 5th! Long story short, we arrived and they were closed! No notice, email, not even a post saying that they would be closed! 2 days later I saw a post that they were under “new management”. I called and spoke to someone stating that refunds would be made! A MONTH LATER AND STILL NO REFUND! Every time I call it’s a bunch of BS! Although we could have went somewhere else to enjoy a night out it was the principle that MONEY was paid beforehand and never returned! Bad business! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Legal matters will be taken into account! Definitely will be closed again!

Music was not for the girls. all they played was trap music but nothing for the girls to actually dance and have fun to. lights were too bright and the whole night was just people standing around on their phones.

The club was boring on NYE !! Nicely decorated and spacious, but very boring. It was $50 per person to get in and one drink was $20. No body was dancing and the DJ kept calling everyone boring and saying that we could have stood around at home. I felt the same way and the music he paid was mid at best. 2/10. Horrible way to bring in the New Year. I will never go back

I love this place! Madison is the kindest, most respectful bartender and she is very patient and understanding when you order ya drink. Environment is amazing and music is THE BEST!!! 10/10 great club!

Great club. Definitely good vibes here. The music was on point. Our bartender was very intentive. She was a great host. Drink prices are reasonable as well.

Pressed to buy a bottle to get a booth in an EMPTY club is unsettling. Wouldn't mind it if I didnt get a contact high in the club.

Please be aware of this place! They have a 20% gratuity added to all bar drinks. I got one tequila sunrise that was $16 WITH the gratuity added, I check my bank account this morning I am negative $10 - I check my account and the HIVE took an additional $10 - putting my total at $26 meaning the bartender wrote herself in a $10 tip!!! I signed the receipt but nothing was written in the tip section. This happened to 6 of the 8 people I was with Saturday 9/28 - who knows who else this could have happened to!! Do not spend your money here!
