Went to see an awesome film featuring some friends. What a great community resource!

Brought my teenage daughter and her friend here for a music event because the flyer said all ages. This place needs to enforce rules if they are going to advertise for all ages. If the rules say no smoking inside they need to enforce it, people were smoking cigarettes and vaping, when I brought it to an employees attention they really didn't seem to care and said "where?" As if they couldn't see the plumes of smoke rising to the lights. A young girl that was standing in front of my daughter and her friend was talking loudly and said "oh all my friends are doing drugs in the parking lot" 😬 The crowd was mosh pitting and this dude almost hit me, when he was getting close I said "be careful please, there are young girls right here" then when my husband blocked him from knocking me over, the guy stared at us as if we didnt belong, which we greatly agreed with. Even the first singer was encouraging violence in the mosh pit, I understand it's the genre but this venue is too damn small to be mosh pitting like that. This place has a type that's for sure. I don't care if the flyer says all ages or not, dont bring your younger teens here because the attendees as well as the employees could care less about their safety.

Best place to discover local artists and musicians! They also recently added a building for film development! More info on their website and instagram @hollandreno

This place was definitely a pleasant surprise. The vibe was wonderful and promoted an open, friendly, and safe environment for all attendees. Everyone including the artists and their merchandise crew seemed to have an exceptional experience. The venue does not serve alcohol, but there are bars close by to quench your thirst, so please don't let that deter you!

Finally, a truly forgotten corner of goodness. Small (micro) venue, all ages. . No alcohol. . Highlighting local and small(ish) bands and artists. Stopped in to see our boy Honus(MAN MAN) and the new array of ruffians he hath assembled to ROCK THE EARDRUMS!!! And certainly not a disappointment!! It was like $10. . Sound was decent enough. . It felt like I was at a start up venue in the 90's again. .Totally awesome!!

Went for a show, (all ages), the sound system could use a bit of work, we did not stay for the second set.

Yelp
The Holland Project is a fun little all ages venue promoting not only art but local entertainment. Accompanied by a small stage and a good sound system, Holland has hosted tons of local acts throughout the years that range from EPM, Pop, Folk, Hip-Hop then some. The venue has a Snack Shack where you can pick up some tasty treats and refreshments. The staff is always professional and courteous and the bands and musicians they bring on are fun and engaging. Their most recent show hosted a number of DJs along with the Electronic Pop duo Indigo Forever. It was a fun time and a tremendous show. While most of the acts may not be your usual cup of tea as far as commercial sound and stage performance go, they're usually not only tremendously produced with quality sound but also great performers with an awesome stage presence depending on the genre you like! Check them out sometime!

Yelp
Awesome venue with good bands and good crowds. Nice to get close and personal with the bands.

Yelp
This is one of the coolest places I've been to in Reno. I am a huge sucker for poetry and open mic nights. I have been looking for something in the Reno area since I am new that revolves around poetry. My friend introduced me to this place and we attended the event where paradigm came out to perform. There was a spoken word competition where around 10 performers came up to say a piece and from there one winner was chosen. Judges were picked from the audience which I thought was cool since there could be bias. The venue is a good size for something like poetry and they had some art at the entrance. Veryyyyy cool place, and I would highly recommend checking out their FB for future events. Michael if you are reading this! I finally found a spot in Reno!

Yelp
Holland Project is a fun, funky venue with a cozy, inviting feel. I've danced here, viewed art, and listened to a lecture. The sound is good, there is room to move, and there are places to just sit and chill.

Yelp
Smaller but solid spot to checkout a show. Fits about 150ish heads, sound is decent, staff seemed chill. All ages venue so no beer on site. There is a chill bar literally right around the corner tho (40 mile saloon). Go support them before hand! Covet was rad as hell. Invite them back!!!

Yelp
The Holland Project is a great little space with art displayed in the front and a venue for music in the back. There is also a nice courtyard adjacent to the back building for outdoor venue. We visited because they were hosting the display of the winners of the local scholastic art competition for high schools and my daughters art was on display. They did a great job of putting together the exhibition and hosted a nice reception for the winners and their guests. I noted from the bulletin board that they have a variety of bands in a variety of styles come through their venue.

Yelp
What a gem! We are so lucky in Reno to have the Holland. Recently my partner and I attended an art exhibit at the Holland and I was reminded of what an incredible and inspiring place this is. I have attended concerts and art shows and my partner has played shows and attended a variety of fundraising events. Every time we go to the Holland (no matter in what capacity we visit) we have a wonderful experience. The location is always clean and orderly, and the space is dynamic - a concert venue one night and a meeting place the next. The building is artsy yet very homey and inviting. But really, it is the people that make the Holland. Not only are the volunteers always great, but they nurture such a wonderful and accepting atmosphere. I have never felt lost, lonely or unwelcome - even if I wander in alone not knowing anyone. I shutter to think about Reno without this place, in so many ways it is the heartbeat of our city. If you have not yet visited, you are missing out.

Yelp
I saw a show here last Sunday for the Debauch-A-Reno festival curated by Sticker Guy and Slovenly Recordings. The space is a good size (holds maybe 150?) and the sound was pretty decent. There's a library, bathroom, and art spaces. I didn't get to explore as much as I'd like, but I was excited to see that they had a couple of large wash basins next to the bathroom area that would be perfect for silk-screening. There's also a nice area for flyers and literature. I enjoyed seeing the bands on a slightly elevated stage and the kids at the show were energetic, but respectful. I wish this space had been around when I lived in Reno 7 years ago. For those of you that knew about the Hub in Sacramento, this space completely kicks it's ass twice over.

Yelp
This place is staffed by a bunch of hunks. Hubba hubba it's nice to find good eye candy in Reno. Great sound, fun venue. Would recommend.

Yelp
Keep this place on your radar! I've been to everything from drag prom to art shows here. I always have a good time and get warm fuzzies from supporting local artists. Last time I was in I scored an awesome piece of art, by a local artist, for $30!

Yelp
This space has a really cool vibe. I went there to support one of my friends that had some art in one of their shows. There was a band playing in the back half of the space and there were artists mingling up front. This space really fosters budding talent and I support their events whenever I have a chance. Holland Project rocks!

Yelp
This is a great little venue. It is an intimate space in the front for art shows and another intimate space in the back for small musical events. Extra kudos to this place for supporting the Reno Bike Project. I look forward to other events at Holland.

Yelp
Love this place. And I love that they are part of the Wells Avenue Business District
