I’m a resident at The Holly, and I have had such a good experience living here. I also have to give a huge shoutout to Kam for always taking such amazing care of me. Any time I have an issue in my apartment—big or small—she gets it handled fast. She follows up, keeps me in the loop, and makes sure the maintenance team gets things done right. It’s rare to find someone that reliable and on top of everything. She’s such a hard worker… honestly, give this girl a raise haha! Definitely renewing again for another year.

I’ve really enjoyed living at The Holly. The apartments are super nice and well taken care of, and the amenities make it feel like a true community. The staff is always friendly and quick to help whenever something comes up, and maintenance is fast and reliable. It’s been a really positive experience overall, and I’d definitely recommend The Holly to anyone looking for a great place to live in Lubbock!!

I’m the guarantor for Apartment 627A. We have signed leases for both Summer and Fall, and August rent is fully paid. Today, Justice Vasquez entered our apartment without notice, falsely claimed we never renewed our lease, and told her to leave immediately or the police would be called. I heard the entire exchange on the phone — it was threatening, intimidating, and completely unprofessional. This happened despite all paperwork and payments being in order. No prior communication, no record check, no apology. Just harassment. This conduct is unacceptable and unprofessional. As a large apartment community, I would expect any lease concerns to be addressed through proper communication channels or respectful communication, not through intimidation or threats. If you value respect and safety, avoid this place at all costs. Management needs to fix their records and train staff immediately. Update: The issue has since been resolved, and I appreciate the management addressing it. The apartment and amenities themselves are great, but I sincerely wish management would invest in training their staff on how to treat residents with respect and professionalism.

I highly recommend this apartment complex. The management is super helpful, and they really care about the residents. The maintenance team is also quick to fix any problems. Plus, the location is super convenient. I've made so many friends here!

Under new management, the holly is not a bad place to live at all! I think the staff is really trying to make an effort to improve quality of living here and it is much appreciated!

Overall apartment complex is good. But the apartment balcony feels like we are in a zoo living with pigeons. If not for these birds, I would have given 4 ⭐️.

I lived here as a student last year. The price is compelling but 100% NOT worth it. When I moved in the unit was filthy with dirt and dust everywhere. While moving in I liked how it was gated but the gates were OPEN 99% of the time. The first couple of weeks when everyone was moving in the place was trashed from too much in the dumpsters. After dumpsters were emptied the trash was left outside for a while. For a bit I just thought, who’s managing this place? Do they have eyes it looks like a dump! I’d even see people driving golf carts(for the holly) and would think, why doesn’t management tell them to clean up the place?? Pools were also under maintenance for months. Things like the gate and pool sucked to be unused because THATS WHAT I PAYED FOR!!! Also if you’re looking to live here look at the pictures of the counter tops. Worst countertops you could ever have. The black and white spotted surface is bumpy and gross feeling and impossible to tell if there’s any mess/crumbs on counter. My ceiling also leaked multiple times and water came through window sill when it rained. If you are considering living ANYWHERE else. Don’t live at the holly, it sucks. Better off living on campus in a dorm.
