I had an exceptional experience thanks to Debbie at customer service. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me warmly and immediately helped me with my exchange. She was professional, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable about the products I needed. She went out of her way to ensure I left not only with the right items, but with a smile. I even asked about the badges on her apron, and I told her I could absolutely see why she’s earned them! This is what customer service is all about. We need more 👷‍♀️Debbies!!!! 😁

I went in looking to purchase a dishwasher, out of the two employees in the appliance section no one asked if I needed assistance or had any questions. It's was another employee named Sarah that just happened to be walking down the isle that decided to ask. She answered my questions and I walked out of the store with a new dishwasher and a paid installation service. So Sarah gets 5 stars, the appliance department get 3 at best.

I used to love this store. Bought a fixer upper and bought absolutely everything there. Loved the managers. The staff was awesome, knowledgeable and friendly. Things have changed. I don’t recognize anyone there anymore, lots of inexperienced young people and management acts like they don’t even want you there. I absolutely dread having to return something unless Denise is there because she recognizes me as an excellent customer and doesn’t make me feel like I’m trying to rip them off. They need to work on customer service big time.

Came for multiple strands of #12 wire... this Home Depot only had about half of them in stock.. Great help and service. Store was very clean and organized.

I had a disappointing experience with customer service today. An employee with a black earring refused to assist me ( I forgot to get his name) and suggested that I was lying about an overcharged item. This behavior was unprofessional, and additional customer service training would be helpful.

The installers israel and Carlos who came from home depot to install two brand new LG dishwashers for us were awesome and very professional. I highly recommend them. They had the dishwashers installed and tested in superfast and did a amazing job! Scott Steagall Homer, GA

Organized and clean store. We go to the monthly kids workshop and my kids love it. The employees that lead this shop go above and beyond. They are so kind, patient, and helpful. Will always support Home Depot

Man, a lot of people are very upset about this store. I don't discount their experiences, but all of mine have been downright overwhelmingly positive. This is the only Home Depot where I've been able to easily get an associate to help me during every visit. All associates have been incredibly kind hearted and eager to be of assistance. The best thing was one of the guys taking the time to help me load my car. This brave mad lad picked up wood with no gloves on and somehow has always managed to avoid splinters. He must be the real life Luke Cage with that impenetrable skin!

Great customer service yesterday! many employees on the floor, also customer service was very helpful in a paint situation I was dealing with.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I paid for a stump grinder rental for 7am to 8pm at the Commerce, GA Home Depot. My guys arrived to pick up the stump grinder and HD had cancelled the order with no advance notice. I have to pay my 3 guys for 1.5 hours of their time. HD rental said that I could not reorder the rental for the day even though they still had the stump grinder there. I called the rental dept and also a manager who BOTH were not willing to help in any way. The rental guy was a liar and the manager was useless. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, a number of people aren't happy. That has not been my experience. I was just in there a few days ago and received attentive help from the paint department. I have Parkinsons and regularly need some help especially in lumber. I have, as a rule been greeted and treated well. Their people have been a help to me and I appreciate it. Oh I just saw the post. I am not from SC. I live in Jefferson and am Georgia born.

Poor customer service. I was there after 5 p.m. to a skeleton crew. No one available to help! We need more choices in Commerce. They have a 2 rating. Way too high

What a waste of time! Was completely ignored by store associate in paint department, who was having a casual chat with other customers. So I made my purchase on Amazon on my way out of the store. I suggest others do the same - if the difference between online and brick and mortar is customer service, what happens when there's no more customer service?

My husband took several days off work to rebuild our deck. He ordered supplies last week, and it was to deliver Monday. Monday for whatever reason they brought half of our rather small order ON A TRACTOR TRAILER....and dropped it. Called and asked why and they said it would be here Wednesday. It's 730 and still not here...maybe tomorrow... my husband WENT TO THE STORE to get other stuff and they wouldn't even comp him a rental truck to bring it here himself. No apology. No discount. No promise it would be here on his LAST DAY OFF so he could finish so our kids or dogs don't maim themselves plummeting off the dang deck. Clearly the management here is incompetent.

I've shopped here many times, usually good service. It has its ups and downs but it's tough to get mom and pop type service at any big box store. That being said the people that work here are good country folk so they definitely try to give it that feel. Hardly ever had an employee walk by me without acknowledging or greeting me. There are many more options available here than in Toccoa and they price match competitors so it's a solid go to for appliances. I remember one time I was purchasing a complete set of kitchen cabinets for a rental house and they couldn't order one piece to arrive the same day as the rest. An employee volunteered to drive several hours to pick it up from another Home Depot. All so I could pick up all my cabinets at the same time. That's solid customer service.

The Commerce HD has an overall rating of 2.0, however, I definitely got 5 star service yesterday during my visit and wanted to give credit where credit is due! My entire experience was top notch and I appreciate the guys who assisted me! Will definitely be back.

I've been to Home Depot's all over the country and this one is by far the worst. The employees are too busy on their personal cell phones and gossiping with each other to ask if you need any assistance. The woman working at the garden center register didn't bother to ask if I needed assistance but followed and glared at me like I was going to steal something. The store is filthy and disorganized and looks more like a garage sale than a retail establishment. Whoever manages this store needs to rethink their career path.

I have shopped at Home Depot for years. I have never been so disappointed and angry over their complete lack of service. First time this large of a purchase. My husband and I bought a riding lawnmower. We were told it would be delivered on Wednesday, we purchased it on the previous Friday. We received via email, a message that it wouldn't be delivered for an additional week and a half. After contacting the store, we were told they didn't even have a working lawnmower in stock that we purchased. Getting in touch with them was infuriating, finally someone (Leslie), assisted us. We were told it would be delivered as originally promised. The day arrived and we're still waiting. This whole experience has put me off Home Depot for good. Aside from atrocious customer service, Home Depot is scamming their customers by not even having the products they're selling. I discovered too late, this is a recurring issue with them. Save yourself an enormous amount of aggravation and shop at Lowe's!

I have gotten good customer service at this location. I have gotten help loading several items and never had issues at this location.

My wife and I went to the Home Depot in Commerce GA on Sunday December 29th to buy 2 Washer/Dryer sets. We settled on a set made by Samsung and marked down from $1596 to $1136 for the pair (x 2) Steve the sales person talked us out of the purchase, saying they would be much cheaper on Jan 2nd with the new sale. We returned about 11:45am on the 2nd to purchase two sets. When we got there, no appliance personnel were on duty ( Steve told us he would be there all day ) Several employees from other departments offered to find help but to no avail. To our surprise the washer/dryers were marked up $151 per piece. ( x4 ). We asked if the department manager was in the store, we were told 1. She was in the break room 2. She was in a meeting with the assistant store manager 3. She was at lunch 4. She declined to meet with us I went to the service counter at the front of the store and requested to see the manager in charge for the day. After a few minute wait, Wayne the assistant manager arrived and basically blew us off, he said the department manager wS helping other customers??? WE WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMERS in that Department. We told him our story and he told us to pick another brand that was on sale...Nothing was on sale and we selected Samsung. Refused to help in any way at all. We have bought a roof system, cabinetry for our family room, carpet for to homes, and an appliance package for our kitchen and one for my step mothers home. I will never buy another item from Home Depot . When I asked for the district Managers name and number he gave me the 1-800 number. Piss poor customer service ! Joe Sidwell

Nice to know all employees are having a better conversation with there friends instead of helping customers out! Been looking for a few employees to help me with purchasing some things and no one came to help!

Don't let Home Depot sent ARS out! Only issue I have with ARS people is that the service tech was so condescending. But I guess I should have done more homework before spending 6k on the Rheem heat and air system. Salesman told me we would see savings on our electric costs, just saw the 2nd bill since installation; no change in last year at same time even though we have 3 more people in the house last year. I suggest that you look carefully at other options and pass on Rheem.

Horrible service. Employees skirt by to not help the customer. I've spent ALOT of money at this store but I'm so tired of the same crap when I come to this store. Lowe's it is then.

This Home Depot is the worst one I have ever encountered. The staff and management are rude and unwilling to resolve issues. I brought my EGO Mower to them cause I was told that if they have a tool rental department then they are able to do minor repairs to EGO mowers. So I took it to them since the Home Depot near me does not have a tool rental department. I wasn't given a time line for the repairs. After a week I contacted them since I had not heard anything from them. They told me at this point that it was sent out for repair and that they didn't even look at it cause they don't work on EGO mowers in store. So I waited another week and called them again to find out if it had made it to the repair center and how long the repairs would take. The staff said they would leave a message for them to contact me. I waited another week and contacted them again and finally got to speak with the repair person at Home Depot and he said he would contact the repair center. He called me a day or two later and left me a message. I called him a day later and he said that the repair center should have called me the day he called me so he said he would contact them again. Never got any call from them. He also never called me again. I called the store a week later and he was not in, so I asked to speak with the manager. I talked and told him all the issues that I wasn't receiving updates on my mower. He then remained silent, he was very poor on customer service skills. He told me that the repair person at their store would contact me tomorrow. The next day I received no call. So I called yet again to speak with the repair department to find out that he was not in and asked to speak to the manager. Got the same manager again and this is when he told me that the repair guy was off this week. So the manager didn't even know the schedules of his employees. They now had my mower for almost a month and couldn't give me an update on it. After I got off the phone with him I gave up on working with them and contacted EGO. They then took over and tried to locate my mower. They called me a week later and told me that it wasn't located by Home Depot or the repair center so they were going to get Home Depot to replace it. A few days later I was finally mailed a gift card for Home Depot by corporate to replace my $500 mower. I will never go to this location ever again because the incompetence of their employees is the worst I have ever seen.

Three weeks ago my parents refrigerator died. Repairing would have cost more than replacing. They went to the Home Depot and purchased a refrigerator. They were promised delivery a few days later. They were charged on February 17. Today is March 5 and they have not yet received a refrigerator. They have spent days on the phone with the store and corporate and have gotten ZERO results. They finally cancelled the order, but my elderly parents are on week 3 of a dorm sized refrigerator. I have never experienced worse customer service in my life. Tomorrow, we go to Lowe's. Thanks for nothing Home Depot.

I can't begin to tell you how awesome the staff at this Home Depot garden staff is. We had a minor Christmas tree emergency on the 22nd and Jeff, Bryan, and the sweetest lady (whose name i didnt catch...) came through big time! We found out a lady from our church didn't have a tree... Not only did Jeff and Bryan help us pick out a beaut, but they loaded it up and strapped it down. When they found out our cause, they GAVE us the tree... AND threw in a wreath!!! It was a Christmas miracle!!!! Thank you Jeff, Bryan, and Home Depot. You've made a customer for life!

1 star because zero or negative stars are jot an option. My wife picked up two landscaping stones yesterday and we had to go back for more today. No one helped her pick, move or load the 25 pound stones. Todays visit was even worse. Half the lights were off in the garden department were off and no one was in site. A few associates walked by and saw me using a pallet jack to move a pallet of stones and not one offered to help. Even after pushing the first cart out to the main aisles and asking the oblivious associate to push the product to the front still no one offered to help. After we loaded over 500 lbs of stones ourselves the checkout girl said they didnt have any plastic for us to lay down in out car at her station but i could go to the garden dept, on the other side of the store and get it ourselves. I told her that was rediculious and found someone who looked like they were in charge to express my dissatisfaction. Dude couldnt have cared less. 15 minutes later someone from the back of the store came up, grabbed some plastic from behind the register (where previously it didnt exist) and asked me how he could help. After choking back a few choice explatives i explained the situation. He was just a high school kid so it didnt feel right taking it out on him. I will never trade with home depot again. Im not sure whats going on with customer service in our country but this mess has got to change. We have to start voting with our dollars and not tolerating businesses that onviously do not want our trade. To make sure you know, im talking about the home depot in commerce ga.

I purchased a refrigerator, Black Friday. Delivery date was set up for Dec. 11, 2018, I found this to be ridiculous but accepted. On delivery day driver was supposed to call with a 30 minute lead time, this I confirmed the morning of the delivery. Driver called me and stated they were there. I wasn't, thanks. I rushed from work and let the driver know I was on the way. Much to my surprise no one there when I get there. I am now without a fridge till Friday along with taking another day off work to accommodate an outside source to deliver the product for Home Depot. Do Not buy things from stores that outsource delivery. There is no accountability for either side. Everyone then has someone to blame. I am so disappointed in my service and wish I could return the product. I truly hope I am able to get this handled on Friday 12/14, and never have to deal with home depot again. At this point they offer to give me 10 percent off, slap in the face, I have lost two days of pay for this and guess what.....10% doesn't cover.Embarrassing to even entertain the idea of accepting......Thanks Mike, Asst. I been to every home depot north of Atlanta and I can tell you that my visit at this store was horrible. I went in at 6pm to get some paint matched and I a asked three different floor walkers would you get me someone in the paint department. I waited over 20 minutes and no one showed up.i asked to see the manager and the short version,what a waste of time.its easy to tell when someone just doesn't give a damn and he was it.very poor costumer service.

Love this Home Depot! We have been working on our home and a few rental properties over the years and we love having a HD near by. Lincoln is awesome as are the majority of the employees.

I don't ever write reviews, but I need to share this awful experience with someone. Today I went to Home Depot in Commerce, Ga with my mother and sister. My mother wanted to get liquid sandpaper/liquid sander and spray paint. While we were in the paint section, she asked the sales girl (the one with probably fake burgundy hair) if they had any liquid sandpaper. She showed my mom a section of products didn't fit this requirement and said she needed to ask someone else. She went down an aisle to ask two male workers we could hear them all say very loudly "I've never heard of that" the she came back and said "Uh, that product doesn't exist." My mom went on to explain what it was in case there was a similar product or it had another name. The clerks laughed and said again that they had never heard of it. We started to go down to another aisle to see if some one else could help us. As we walked away we very distinctly heard a male voice say "D*mn" and immediately after a female voice say "What a b*tch." We were also told to go to Hobby Lobby, they have projects that are more to our caliber there. We left and found it elsewhere. We will also be finding all of our building supplies elsewhere.
