I came into Home Depot to pick up a DoorDash order and asked for assistance. I was directed to the customer service area, where two employees, Lisa and Ben, were present. Unfortunately, the service was very poor. We were not greeted properly, and neither employee seemed willing to help. When I went to Ben, he sent me to Lisa. When I went to Lisa, she sent me back to Ben. This back-and-forth went on, and we ended up waiting 10–15 minutes for what should have been a quick and simple pickup. Both employees came across as nonchalant, with no sense of urgency to assist customers. I recommend improving customer service in this area by ensuring employees are trained and motivated to help promptly and respectfully.

I come to this Home Depot often, and the staff at this location is completely unhelpful. Nobody ever knows where things are (even when HD's website says there is stock at this location), they are not friendly / don't want to be bothered with questions, and cannot provide any information on how certain products should be used or applied in home projects. Always dread going here.

I purchased carpet from this Home Depot. I'm rating this store solely on my experience with Princess in the flooring department. She was very polite, followed up professionally with multiple call backs, and made sure that all of my concerns were addressed. Again, Princess did a great job and I would highly recommend her if you need assistance with carpet and/or other flooring types.

I had to rent a sander for redoing my garage floor. Long story short, there was a bit of a mess where I had to go back and forth to the store and I had to use different rental equipment. There was a gentleman there named Liam. I tell you, this guy is incredible. He helped me figure out what I needed, he was able to get me the right rental tool and get me back on track for the day. He's super friendly, super helpful, to whom it may concern, give this young man a raise. He really outshines everything. What great customer service. I can't ask for a better experience. My dad has been working for a Home Depot location outside of Charlotte, since 1996. During my visit to this location today. I felt like I was back home , visiting my dad at work. Everyone I came into contact with was nice & helpful! Just like he is with his customers! Especially those that request him specifically due to his customer service . This is a smaller Home Depot than I've seen before. I think that might be part of why I had a mixed experience there. My hypothesis: just not as many employees and therefore you're not as likely (as I've experienced every time I go to Home Depot) to find that one genius that just knows every answer and completely solves your problem. It's always luck of the draw if you're gonna get the rookie who says "uh" a lot and points randomly or someone with real experience and knowledge. We had good luck in the appliance section (washing machines)- got somebody who really instilled confidence. Had a laughably bad experience in the paint section. She didn't know anything about paint, apparently. Couldn't help me estimate how much paint I needed, was SO wrong about how much the quart of paint covered, couldn't advise on colors, no idea on which brushes were better or what we might need, gave me the wrong paint and I'd have walked out with it if I hadn't caught it, unapologetic, made no effort to find the answer to any question I asked- just shrugged, said she didn't know, didn't care to know apparently. It's fine- I got what I needed, but I hope she was a fill-in and not the actual head of that department. Anyway, nice woman at the checkout, very helpful and friendly, so things ended well. Some good, some bad.

I normally don’t write reviews, but my experience with Home Depot and their contractor has been nothing short of a nightmare. I hired them to install a washer in my home, which should have been a simple job. Instead, the contractor broke a pipe during the installation, flooding my entire downstairs. Now, I understand accidents happen — I was even patient at first because the contractor admitted fault right away. But months later, after going back and forth with Home Depot and their affiliate insurance company, I’m still left with the damage and zero accountability on their part. They continue to pass me around with no resolution, no compensation, and no responsibility, despite clear evidence of their mistake. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing to see such a large company treat customers this way. I trusted Home Depot to handle a basic installation and now I’m stuck with thousands in damages, stress, and wasted time. If this is how they stand behind their services, I will never use them again and strongly urge others to think twice before hiring them for any installation work.

This review is for all the plant lovers! It is that time of the year for all the new plant release. Home Depot is not disappointing. The staff welcomes you as you enter the door, I love that! You have plants in the front of the store but the nursery is bursting at the seams. The price is right! To be fair I have not shopped the other locations but I will soon. Don't sleep on HP. The other home improvement isn't touching HP. Happy plant shopping.

Called the store prior to visiting to see if they had what I was looking for. The individual that helped me was very helpful. When I arrived at the store, the individual had pulled what I called about making for a quick and easy trip to the store. Unfortunately, they didn't have another item I was looking for, but I knew that prior to arriving.

For Pineville HD. As a senior, I love this store. If I need help locating something or have a question, there's always an employee close by. Torge was my check out person...friendly and helped with an item in my cart. Thanks!

This store did not follow their "price match guarantee." I have a Home Depot gift card, so I wanted to use that on a product in the store. I noticed that Walmart had the same item in stock locally, sold by Walmart (not a third party), and not on a going out of stock sale. I called ahead and confirmed they price match Walmart with the above criteria and even asked in the store. When I got to the checkout, I was told that they DO NOT price match Walmart and would not price match the product. I didn't cause a fuss since I've been on the other end of that before. I just left. I called corporate to confirm and they said they indeed price match Walmart if it fits the guarantee, which it did. Incredibly disappointing. Here is the guarantee on the website: Requesting a price match is a simple two-step process: Step 1: Identify the competitor's price Ensure that the item you want to price match is identical (same brand, model and size) to the one sold at Home Depot. The competitor must have the item in stock at the lower price, and it needs to be from a retailer that can actually sell and ship the item to your location. For example, Home Depot won't match a price from a store that doesn't operate or deliver in your area. If a retailer is limited to certain regions, the price match wouldn't apply. Step 2: Provide proof of lower price at store location Show Home Depot an ad, printout, or website link that displays the competitor's lower price. You can do this in-store by presenting the information to the cashier at time of checkout.

I came in to pick up an online order and needed to grab one additional item from the shelf. This store is extremely cluttered! They have product bins down the majority of the main center isle, which isn't that wide to begin with. Pair that with customers pushing carts and flatbeds through the store and it's a literal nightmare. On top of that, the aisles are cluttered with shopping carts full of products that apparently need to be stocked. It's a mess. I do like the locker pickup option. I selected in store pickup and within minutes received a code for the locker my item was placed in. That part worked like a charm. The positive side is that they had what I was looking for. But they need to give some serious attention to the mess.

I went to the paint counter and patiently waited for an employee to turn around and help me. When she did decide to help me she said hello then proceeded to help someone that came up after me I nicely told her I was there first and the employee and the guy that I watched walk up after minutes of me standing there said he was first they were both rude and she saw I was there first because she turned around and looked at me before she decided to help me. I would've just waited but they were both so rude and lying I decided to just leave.

There was no help available and that's not common. When I did finally get someone he was rude like why are you asking me to do my job.

Bought a $2,000 Murray Lawn Mower, with a warranty. The tractor broke almost instantly. Home depot won't call me back and say I need to work through Murray, Murray say I need to work through Home Depot. The only phone number to speak to at Home Depot about warranties is only an AI voice, you can't even speak to a real person. I need to speak to someone, because as of now, you are refusing to stand up to your warranty. Call me!!! This has been going on for weeks. I have had to pay other people to mow my lawn right after spending $2k on a mower. Ridiculous!

I only ever come here for the garden center, but it has a robust selection and close to home. They have quite a few options of indoor and outdoor plants, as well as trees, pots and landscaping equipment. I still like Lowes a bit more as they seem to always be more organized, but this Home Depot is working towards changing my mind.

Was able to run in here to buy a special tool for some computer issues that required me opening up my laptop case. The good thing is that I was able to look up the tool on the HD website and see where exactly (aisle and bay number) it was located AND if it was in stock. This location has a strange way entrance/parking lot situation because, yes, it is located at a stop light, but then you have to take an immediate left to turn in... after my life flashed before my eyes seeing a FedEx truck barreling towards me from the other business area, I made it into the parking lot and proceeded to realize that they had unloaded all their outdoor garden supplies into half of the parking lot to the parking was "one way" in. Aside from the traffic and parking, the staffer was friendly... they must have just redone the front of the store cause everything leans pretty much on self-check-out and the two regular registers have these plexiglass dividers for covid... I'm sure it gets awkward trying to move around and scan in the larger home depot items, but their scanners are wireless - so there's that. I guess if this is what registers will look like, post-pandemic, it's safer? I do want to note that the speed of the self-check out line caused a lot of people to bunch up in the front (there was not much room to form a socially distant line).

If you decide to come to this Home Depot make sure to not put your hands in your pants of pockets because they will acuse you of trying to To steal i had my phone and a screwdriver in the same hand and I put my phone in my hoodie pocket and the screwdriver as well but took it out immediately only reason I wasn't holding it in my other hand if because I was already holding other things anyways I pay at self check out and before I leave the security/loss prevention guy stoped me acuses me of stealing because he saw me put my phone and screwdriver in my hoodie pocket but I took it out immediately had to deal with their ass and the police for a couple hours after I haf showed the receipt and paid for everything I had and even let them search me because I knew I did nothing wrong but they kept insisting I stole something and kept me there for hours untill they finally decided to pull up the cctv/cameras/video or whatever you want to call them and after that they finally let me go and told me not to try and steal shit from there again when i wasn't even trying to they told me if they saw me again doing something like that they will press charges for attempting to steal from them. I just be carefully they they will discriminate you for how you look and even you're innocent they'll try to find a way to get you arrested and press charges. TLDR; put my phone and screws driving in my hoodie pocket just to put my phone in my pocket and took out the screw driver immediately out my pocket , paid for everything and they still called the cops on me after they found nothing in me an I showed them the receipt I paid for everything, took hours of my life dealing with their bullshit do not shop at this Home Depot on Wendover off independence go anywhere else because if you do something they think is slightly suspicious they will bitch at you hard even if you prove you didn't they'll still try to acuse you I just got lucky the cops looks at the. Footage and saw I was just putting my phone I my pocket and they let me go if not home Depot security would've pressed charges and i would have to deal with court and even tho I know I would win the case it's still a pain in the ass to deal with court it takes so much time plus the money for a lawyer. Their protection plans by Allstate/squaretable are horrible. Terrible setvice. They send unqualified technicians to your house and send wrong part multiple times. I cannot get any resolution and they seem to only communicate via email. If you get someone by phone they are not helpful, unprofessional and don't care. I have been told to fix the washer myself and then come back to SquareTable aka Home Depot protection plan to see if I can get reimbursed. I paid for the protection plan and now they won't fix my machine and seem to have no knowledge about parts since they send the wrong ones and incompetent techs. This is a rip off and almost fraudulent. Home Depot should be ashamed selling this protection plan to customers. You might almost want to consider buying your appliances from somebody else if Home Depot is going to support and sell this garbage and call it a protection plan.

It's hard to even describe the level of incompetence with purchasing an appliance. I bought a refrigerator, to be delivered. The delivery team cut the water line from my sink to the fridge in half, turned of all my water and then told me I would have to call a plumber to fix it because they can't. They also refused to swap the direction opening of the fridge doors, because "we don't do that". Call the store and you'll have to pay someone to come out and swap the doors for you. So I've been on hold multiple times with store manager and appliance rep, keep getting hung up on, left on hold for 30 minutes more and now the answer is, we'll get back to you. I have no water in my kitchen at all, and the doors are facing the porch instead of facing into the kitchen. Will never purchase an appliance from Home Depot again. In every way, their service is terrible.

Bussin'! This place got birds in the damn green house! I thought it was just a fake sound to make me feel more festive but they had real birds. They also had some thicc bumbles out in the plant area near perineals

My wife and I were doing yard work and needed a rental tool from Home Depot. The tool was great but the customer service was bad as usual. Rio helped me and interrupted me throughout our conversation. He explained the tool was dirty so their was a $50 cleaning fee. I hosed it off before i dropped it off and yes there was mud still on it. I asked him how I should clean it off in the future. He simply explained "no mud". I then explained I'll hose it off for him now and to please show me the hose. He said no, we'll just charge you the cleaning fee. He then told me it was broke. I took the "broke" piece off when I first got it because it was put on incorrectly by the person who gave it to me (sorry I don't repair things the wrong way). And finally.....he said he refunded a part of my bill and did not. Once again a bad experience by the Home Depot and now I'm paying to train their employees.

This is a great Home Depot. I will say I mainly go early in the day and during the weekdays unless there's an emergency. The only reason I rated a 4 is that they mainly have only the self checkout and professionals only registers open. Also if you return something for store credit they attach it to your license. They wouldn't let me use a store credit my husband turned in even though I showed them my license‍. That's probably store policy but good to know beforehand.

They have everything you need and then some. Staff is super knowledgeable and helpful. Jack (young man in a beanie) assisted me in finding materials for a last-minute Halloween costume and provided insight that helped me make decisions on what to purchase.

I love wandering through home improvement stores. I can look at tools and doors and toilets and think... man, I wish I could do something other than slice open my finger with that! It's true. I'm extremely clumsy with tools, so my wife has seriously limited the number of projects that I'm "allowed". So today, I was in Home Depot to get replacement light bulbs. The new apartment into which I have just moved is fully loaded with incandescent bulbs. Aren't those illegal these days? Anyway, I picked up a couple of boxes of CFL bulbs and even managed to get one of the orange-aproned dudes to help me find the ones with the smaller base for the chandelier. Very friendly staff, very large parking lot. Prices are decent, compared to the other big box shops. I just wish I could do more stuff!

I bought a Halloween doormat online which was out of stock, and whoever helped me out in the store got me a better one for no additional charge. I'm so happy with the product/customer service! Thank y'all so so much

had may kitchen cabinets reface by Home Depot. I had them wrapped and they look very nice. The only problem there in the kitchen and I cannot use the toaster because they melt in the doors off. I was told it's too bad I'd have to live with it so now I have a kitchen I can't use.

I went in there for pliers wood a wrench and drills and I ask for help so I can't get my wood cut and next thing you know I get cursed out They are lucked there is no zero star

On Cyber Monday I purchased a small mini fridge on the Home Depot website and had it delivered to a store near my daughter's home as a gift for her. I was notified by the store that the item had arrived but by then I was suffering with a hip injury and could not go to the store to pick it up. Unfortunately, my daughter would not have been able to pick it up either because the person who ordered it needed photo ID to pick up the pre-paid item. I eventually had to ask the store to schedule the item as a delivery order instead. The store policy did not allow the transfer of delivery but required instead that I cancel and re-order the item. It was not going to work because I did not have the extra cash to order a second item without the benefit of the refund for the first item. The store advised that the refund should be received in 3-4 business days. They also advised that they would note the file of the price paid on my account so that when I was ready to call back that I would get the item for the same price. Well in exactly 3 business days, I did receive my refund. I then called the store to place the order for delivery and guess what, I was given the original price as promised. They even waived the delivery charge! WOW! I was impressed. In addition to the offering just a few days before Christmas, I want to add that both of the two customer service reps were extremely pleasant. The service that I received from Home Depot over this holiday season has been extraordinary. I am now also looking forward to the delivery happening prior to Christmas.

Tried on numerous occasions to phone in a purchase of 3 appliances from Home Depot. This is my go to store for many things. Unfortunately apparently they are fortunate to get workers and are hiring a lot of temps. Lots of complacency, bad or blazah attitudes of employees. The older gentleman with the cart in plumbing -the best, tops, always ready to help and very knowledgeable. The attitudes toward me concern me such as turning and walking the other way when they see me or other customers or generally barely kind people. I pray this is Covid and not continuing from haters. Oh the quiet and wonderful young lady in hardware and the wonderful hispanic lady manager are superior. I went to Lowe's for the appliances and Bullet(real name) and Kiaya were excellent. Phone was answered immediately and details handled. Received the appliances the next morning at 8:10 am. Delivery guys, eh not so much. But overall good.

Horrible!!!!!!! One of the most pathetic stores I've ever been to the attitude allowed in the store is not where I want to spend my money! A total YUCK! experience. The employees that work here are so rude!!They fuss and even complain about doing their job. I was Chastised like a child for asking a cashier a question she thought I should know! Then the appliance department is the worst of all! Especially the woman on the phone maybe the most power tripping I've ever encountered! Just needed to know the amount of time to get a refund to compare if I wanted to wait another week on my already three week late washer but she had to have all the particulars of the purchase after her aggressive aggravation I was still undecided and not getting through to her yelling at me. I decided she wasn't at all helpful just rude and hung up on her. She took it upon herself to cancel my washing machine order I found out when I called the 1800 number to check on it another way. So rude such a waste of my time and energy! I totally recommend you go anywhere else!

When you go to this Home Depot, ask for Abel. He makes the H. D. experience favorable. For example, when the value pack of temporary shades wasn't on the floor, he checked the stock for me. It was necessary to climb the high ladder on the upper shelves. In many ways, he went out of his way to make my move to NC a positive one. Robyn Haber

Nice HD. Not the closest location to us but we came here because we needed tile for our floors and this location had it in stock in the amount we wanted. The staff was friendly. We got to the tile section and a gentleman immediately helped us. The tile was way above the top shelf and needed a machine to get them down. Someone used the machine and got them down for us. We were able to open up the boxes and inspect them. Cashing out was a breeze. No issues here!

This store constantly disappoints. Poor attitude from store associates, poor service for the contractors who are actively in area and leadership that struggles to understand the service element of store. Issues run across categories in the store. Lumber that hasn't been picked for separating offensive lumber, tool rental with dangerous tools not properly serviced store associates standing in the aisle texting on the cell phone while customers load lumber by themselves and a poor disposition from people at customer service. Mean while. The Lowe's on Inverness way is an amazing customer experience. They boast knowledgeable store associates, who are always asking to help, the products are just better, they always have people available to help move your day along. I spend a lot of money at this store because it is a better use of my time. I spend hardly no money at this store. I believe this comes across from a business perspective as you compare the contractors at this store and Inverness Lowe's and it is night and day difference in the amount of business and people buying from different stores. AVOID if you can!!

This is the neighborhood stop for many home projects. It's been here for a long time. There are several other local building projects warehouses in the area. Together, they all fulfill the coverage of the needs of home remodel/repair.

Despite my overwhelming love of this place, they have decided to not allow dogs inside anymore. This decision comes after a dog bit and associate, as told to me by the self-check out associate. The NO DOG policy will take effect at the end of this coming week. I expressed my concern that they will lose business and they didn't seem to care. I suppose that the competitors will have the edge with animal lovers. I will certainly be considering other options when shopping for tools and other household appliances that are pet inclusive.

I believe this store is designed for professional contractor customers, not people like me. Unless you know exactly what you need, and exactly where it is - shopping here is not worth the effort.

Visited this location in my area on 5/1/22. I brought with me an old bathroom faucet aerator, that needed replacing, to help find the right size. As I stood by the faucet aerators, I stopped an employee for help. Although, it wasn't his area of expertise, he tried to help and summoned another employee, to assist. Both felt the part they chose was the right replacement, but still tracked down the expert for that area, to confirm. These guys were great and made me a priority. The part fit perfectly when installed at home.

Terrible experience with appliance divery. The delivery guys set up by Home Depot, Final Mile, left the new refrigerator in the backyard and did not remove the old refrigerator. They said that they could not get the old refrigerator through the door. Crazy. When I went to complain to the appliance department at Home Depot, the assistant manager simply said that they are not the delivery company. Terrible service on the delivery and customer service after the fact. Btw- old refrigerator still not removed and I had t out the new refrigerator in place. So bad!!!!

HD's tool rental associate needs a lesson in customer service. I called the night before to check the availability of a Mantis tiller and was told there are two available and arrive early. So I arrived early and stood in front of the door (the outside one that I was told to wait by) from 7:30 am until 8:03 am (BTW, the call bell was broken at the door). I was the first in line, but others who went in through the contractor enterance were waited on first! Once I gained access and waited for the other customers to be served, I asked for a Mantis tiller. The HD associate took me over to three tillers. He attempted to start each one, and I was informed that all three had machanical issues and could not be rented today. He then told me to go to the Matthews' store that they should have one. I asked him if he would call and request one be held for me, to which he said he would give me the number so I could call, and again said, "They should have one." Fast forward...after calling and asking HD Matthews to hold a tiller, I arrived to find that this location IS the better choice! Better service, better equipment, a better experience all around! Just save yourself some time and go to Matthews!

Ordered a refrigerator from the website and it was to be delivered today (May 4th) between 9:30 and 1:30. I was told I'd get a phone call 30 minutes prior. Regardless, I have been home the whole time and just found a door hanger on my front door stating that they had tried to deliver at 12:10. I got no phone call and I heard no knock on my door. I have 3 dogs who go insane when there is a knock and not a peep from them. I called Home Depot and they said the earliest they could re-deliver is the following Monday. By the way, they use FedEx and UPS to deliver their appliances apparently. So, now I have to stay at home another day waiting. I should have ordered from Lowe's. Lesson learned.

Great place to catch Covid! They don't enforce mask wearing at all! Many customers (and even some of their staff) roam the isles freely with no mask on at all and nobody says a word. The have a small sign that gives lip service to the mask requirement out front, but it is totally clear the management doesn't care about the health of their customers one little bit! So ignorant and so irresponsible.

Go to Lowes This store was such a waste of my time. I went in looking for 8 speciality screws and fasteners. There was a representative on the aisle where things where fully immersed in his cell phone. He did allow himself to be bothered (visibly) when I asked a question. After still searching for 15 minutes on my own, I asked a young lady to help with finding another rep who actually cared to help. She said no one was a available in an empty store. Unbelievable, just confirmed why I usually go to Lowes and will continue to trust that instinct.

Every time I come to this home depot everyone is very helpful and friendly. I came a few months ago for wood and was able to get someone to cut the wood to the exact dimensions that I needed. I got advice last week on paint and the worker was able to save me money by giving me tips and telling me what I needed and didn't need for a project. I also rented tools from here before and they are very reasonable for the value and helpful by not up-selling for something I did not need. Customer service is always helpful as when I have returns, they are able to complete it with ease and no troubles. The check out system is great as they have new POS systems to self check out with ease.

Salesperson forgot to add a stacking kit to our washer / dryer order, so when delivery arrived it couldn't be installed. I went to the store and a supervisor said he would order the part and call me first thing in the morning to arrange delivery. I did not receive a call by 3pm, so I called and was told the person who could help me was on lunch and would call me back. No one called. I called back the following morning and the supervisor said the part was ordered and we could get it installed in 5 days. Why 5 days? The delivery guys (contracted) gave me their cell and offered to do it today. Supervisor told me warehouse is closed on the weekend and it's Saturday. I said "So this could have been solved if someone called me yesterday like you said you would?" The sup responded, "Probably." There was never any apology for forgetting to add a stacking kit to the order or forgetting to call me back. Now I have a washer and dryer sitting in my hallway for what will be a total of 7 days before it can be installed.

April in Tool Rental is very rude. She is condescending and talked down to me when I asked questions about the tool. April is a poor reflection of Home Depot.

Went to get keys and the machines were down. How am I supposed to get keys without a key maker?! #keys

Stay away from Bill in the "door" department. I've never in my 50 years of shopping met anyone as rude, terse & condescending in any store....except maybe in France! We bought all of our appliances in this store from Glenn, who is awesome. I ordered a door from Bill because I "had to" due to time constraints but never again. Promise

The staff here never really seems to know the answer to anything, but I can mostly just figure it out before I go by researching online. The real issue with this place is the extremely annoying man who is always standing at the front aggressively asking people about their heating and cooling needs. He will interrupt your conversation, phone call, ask you multiple times, flag you down, etc. If I did have heating and cooling needs, he would be my last resort.

Going to a home improvement store isn't exactly something I love to do. It usually involves work once you leave. That being said, this Home Depot does make it about as painless as possible to get in and out as any I've been to. The location is so obscure that I don't think many people come here so that makes it very easy to get in, get what you need and get out without a lot of hassle.

Without fail every time, I come to this location no one knows where anything is located. During my most recent visit, we went through 3 different associates before someone could point me in the right direction. Once we found the item we were looking for and went to check out things got even worse. The lady(don't remember her name) that was working Pro Desk was the rudest and most difficult person we have ever encountered at a HomeDepot. For some reason, she was unable to locate our Pro Account with our number so she asked us for the name on the account, which is where things quickly went downhill. When we gave her the name she was unable to spell the word "and". Despite us continually spelling it out she kept typing the wrong spelling leading her to snap at us multiple times and then tell us we do not have a Pro Account. Eventually, we convinced her to let us type in the correct spelling of "and" which quickly brought up the account. After the account was brought up she incorrectly rang up our item which lead us to have to go stand in line at customer service to have them fix it.

This Home Depot is great. While the parking lot is a little weird, the customer service in this place cannot be beat and it's refreshing (see my ad on Lowe's South End and you'll know why!). Prices here are a bit cheaper than Lowes and the lighting selection isn't as nice as Lowes, but other than that this place rocks 100%. I have used their windows/doors dept to purchase new custom sized screens for my windows, the painting dept for my new bedroom wallcolor & supplies, and the hardware dept for some special masonry screws. Everytime great service was given, especially by Abbey in paint! Never crowded, but always friendly - This is def my go to hardware store from now on! :)

I give it 4 stars, because #1 I am happy in any hardware store, big box or small; #2 I walked in, was assisted immediately, found my purchase in hand & walked out the door in less than 10 minutes! Have I mentioned I shop like a man? Very clean, efficient & well, full of hardware & it's assorted accoutrement! Where can you go wrong? (ohhhh - that hideous paint choice - yeeeah)

I can honestly say this Home Depot is one of the worst run. The associates are nice at the pro and front desk, but delivery and inventory has much to be desired. At least 4 times I have ordered materials online that say they have plenty in the store and I have gotten a call the next day "oh the whole pallet is broken" or "we didn't have it someone made a mistake". When I ordered a washer/dryer combo, I asked if they could be stacked on each other. Delivery came, they said they cannot legally stack without a stacking kit. Sales associate never mentioned or suggested this. How am I supposed to know about stacking kits? It's not like I buy a washer/dryer combo all the time. Recently I placed a delivery order and asked for it to be delivered Friday. Received a confirmation email..didn't have the date on it, so I called the sales team. The associate I spoke with said no problem it'll be delivered Friday. So Friday came....no delivery of the $2000+ order. I called HD, the sales associate on the phone said the previous associate accidentally put it in for the following Friday and since I called after 12pm they cannot get me on that day. The delivery window I had agreed to in the previous call to set up the delivery said they would come between 9-2...so when 2pm came how was I supposed to know? When I spoke to the manager he started to tell me his plight of people being already overtime and he couldn't get it out. I am so disappointed in the service and hassle of each time I place an order. At this point, I am done with this HD!
