This location is closer to my home but I would rather drive to a farther location than go back to this specific store. While they have decent variety of items, their customer service needs major improvement. They act like they don’t want to be bothered and especially if you need help putting heavier items into the car. Then there is this short guy named that starts with A claims he is a supervisor at the customer service desk and return area. This guy really needs an attitude adjustment. He wasn’t trying to be cooperative at all on a return that I had.

Poor customer service I was standing in aisle 16 for thirty minutes waiting for someone to come remove their system had some one called 3 time with no one to show up as I’m still waiting writing this review crazy thank you to the older black gentleman in doors department for helping me only reason I left 3 stars was because of him other wise would be 1

Good store. Like that I can take my dog there. I don't like the bathroom remodeling contractor they use. They wouldn't make an appointment for an estimate with us unless both my husband and myself are present. This screamed high pressure sales, so I am going elsewhere. But the store has otherwise been a good place to shop with a nice selection.

Although they have a decent selection of products and somewhat reasonable prices, their customer service is lacking. I shopped in the store today only to find my shopping experience tainted by dog crap in the store. Under no circunstances should any animal outside of a service animal (no, this was not a service animal) be allowed in this store or any store for that matter. This is uncalled for. Do better Home Depot!

We received excellent customer service from Mr. Alain Hebert. He was so patient as he explained how to design our bathroom cabinet configuration. We had so many questions and he walked us through the process and made it simple. We ended up going with the Studio collection and love the color and design. We highly recommend this Home Depot and Alain Hebert.

Stores like this, I absolutely HAVE to know what I need precisely, before I walk in. If i wing it, unplanned... its a field trip of horrors for me. Haha. Luckily, this was an easy day. I'm refreshing my garage with quick fixes and a touch of paint (primer really). A few essentials from the paint department and I was out of there. No problems. No hassle. And affordable!

WOW! First things first....im a procrastinator extraordinaire! I bought a water heater from Home Depot on 7/26/24. I just got around to attempting installing it today (10/15). I got it out and it was punctured. I called the store and the young man said I would have to buy another one???? lol I asked for a manager and they returned the old one (UPS picks it up tomorrow) and sent a new one over within 2 hours! It's rare to get people that care anymore and Home Depot won me over today for sure!!!!!!

I went into the store around 8:50pm to buy soil. Garden Center was closed and nobody seemed to be working that area. I went up to the self-checkout to try to purchase the dirt I needed. The cashier seemed very confused and kept insisting I wanted mulch at one point saying "I don't know what 'dirt' means to you- are you sure you don't mean mulch?" I finally hit on the word 'topsoil' and that brought up options I could purchase. I ended up buying 4 large bags of topsoil and some mulch, as it was on sale. The cashier told me to pull my car to the set-up in the parking lot and a guy would load the bags in my car. Note: Dirt=topsoil at Home Depot. Shouldn't be a hard code to crack, but she seemed very confused. I pulled my car up to the parking lot station, but they did not have the topsoil. The guy there told me I'd have to go back into the store, walk to the garden area and get it myself. I said I'd need help and he said there'd be someone to help me. I expressed my thoughts that it would be unlikely given my previous experience 10 minutes earlier. I re-park my car and I go back into the store- no flat carts. I walk back to the garden center- no flat carts... Well, several of them, but they have various go-backs on them. I see two guys in the back chatting and ask them for help. They tell me if I want flat carts, I have to go out into the parking lot to get one myself. They did not seem inclined to help- even when I said I needed help. I went to the return/customer support area to return the topsoil as I could not find a flat cart and was not interested in trying to man handle 4 giant bags of dirt over the side of a basket cart. I told that guy about the issues- he said "I'm sorry." I said- "I don't really need any more apologies- I needed help." He just processed the return and repeated he was sorry and turned away. Overall- a $35 sale that the store lost because they couldn't follow their own system for getting the items to the customer's car. I won't be returning to this Home Depot.

I tried buying a few portable AC units at Home Depot (Forest Park) when summer began. My coupon I received in the mail wasn't working and the employees couldn't figure out why. Ryan Cox was called up to "help". His card says he is the "Operations Assistant Store Manager"... Unfortunately, he was an arrogant, condescending, unprofessional individual that has no business being in a leadership position. I see many other negative reviews from this store and it's no surprise. With "leaders" like that, you're bound to fail.

A slight miscommunication between split deliveries was quickly diagnosed and remedied. The Home Depot team has been wonderful. I appreciate assistant store manager Ryan Cox, and the online team who helped me navigate the issues efficiently. Customer service is friendly helpful and on point.

We are always working on little projects around our house, so living within ten minutes of this place has been great! The employees have always been helpful, and they almost always have what we need. I can only thing of a couple times where I have had to go somewhere else. Place is pretty clean, and it's usually easy to find help if you need it. I also love that all the aisles are labeled well, so I can usually find what I need on my own.

A decent Home Depot location overall. I can honestly say I had never stepped foot in this location until a couple of weeks ago when I needed a key made. I've gotten keys made at other locations in the past so I knew they would be good for it. In trying to find their key making station I noticed that they had Christmas trees and decorations out already..it was the beginning of October..I mean, I love Christmas and all, but it seemed a bit extreme..I dunno. I finally tracked down the station and picked the key design I wanted to use for my copies. Then I asked the nearest employee if they could get someone to help me with getting my copies made. Then I waited..and waited..and waited. It had to be at least 15 minutes before somebody came over. About 10 minutes into the wait the original employee that I had asked walked by and commented "Oh they haven't come over to help yet?" and I was like "nope"..and then the wait went on. When the employee capable of running the machine finally showed up he was overly apologetic and blamed something or other for the wait. It's whatever..not going to let it ruin my day. The guy was nice and the keys were ready to go very quickly. So yeah, I mean, the keys got copied, the employees I dealt with were nice..just maybe they should have more people that can operate the machine so uneeded waits on non-busy days don't have to happen.

If you make an online purchase they refuse to exchange it. When I asked for the policy in writing it clearly says that you can exchange items and nothing about special orders. I bought a light online and it was faulty and this will be the last time I shop at this Home Depot. The people in customer service tried to be as nice as possible but the assistant manager was very rude about the exchange and just tried to over talk me when I was trying to explain the situation.

I ordered a washer and dryer paid to have it set up. Well when they got here the vent hose was too short. Ok that's fine. I needed to know what my options were so I called this location. The guy in appliances was rude. His response was he had customers and he couldn't walk over there. Well I didn't even ask him that at all!!! I just needed to know if I could safely make this work. I was on my way to the store. Now I'm going to the colerain location.

As far as Home Depots goes, this location is fine. After not being able to find what we looking for at a local recycle/ repurposing store, we decided to check in here. We did find what we were looking for, and at a competitive price. Customer service was lacking. One employee asked how we were doing, and if he could answer any questions. He genuinely seemed interested in helping us. He even demonstrated some features on the product. The other six employees we passed all seemed to turn their backs and fiddle with items in an attempt pretend they did not see us. Seriously, they were not holding the items until we got within a few feet of them. Even the woman manning the self checkout said "thank you for shopping at Home Depot" with a remarkable amont of distain. Come to this location for the plethora of home improvement items, not the customer service.

what has happened to this store????? it is a mess! they used to have a gorgeous plant department, clean organized and gorgeous flowers. now the plants are wilted, shoved in carts, piled everywhere you can hardly see them. i went to buy rocks and there were more on the ground then in bags...i could not even get to the bags because of all the crap in front of the bin. this is the worst i have ever seen this store. please, bring the really good home depot in forest park back...i would rather not drive all the way out to tylersville or mason. bridgewater is even looking better.

My experience at this store would have been laughable, had I not just finished a long day at work. I needed only a few items. Many workers standing around chatting. When I needed assistance, I had to interrupt their chat session for help. No one knew where to look, so they used an app on their phones to give me directions. No one cared to help me at all. When I complained on my way out, I was told that shift change must've been the problem. Wow, way to go management. I'll drive out of my way to go to Lowe's next time.

We went to buy ain't for our front, unsure as to the type needed for an exterior door. The young man at the paint counter was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was even able to match the paint chip we had and mixed it right up. While there we also researched the idea of putting down pavers along our garden pathway. There were many styles, colors, shapes and sizes all in varying price ranges. We came home and measured the area for our next trip in to Home Depot.

Today, Well let's start off like this this is about service animals I understand people need him especially veterans coming home and other folks. However what I see people bring in dogs into the store just because their dogs or trying to pass them off as service animals without the proper collars proper vest that a true service animal would have I have to draw the line. Today I want to know Home Depot a lady had two little dogs on a leash leashes. I'm disabled have to use a cane and a cart when I go into the store for stability I finally wound up in the area where I saw the dogs with the lady coming around the corner totally forgot until I slipped in a pile or a puddle of pee the cart kept me from falling but I did slip. Anyone knows with a service animal if this happens in the store your responsibility is to clean it up you don't walk off and leave it I tried to explain to the people at the service desk their answer well we can't stop them from bringing dogs in so be warned people if they're not service animals in the store they're not allowed watch your step Home Depot don't care! This is why I'm giving him a one-star

This Home Depot has the best service. On my last trip in the greeter was great at engaging my 3 year old. She showed him some of the Halloween decorations and made him feel special. I had a couple keys made and the guy working that area was just as friendly. Also the guy working in plumbing went out of his way to make sure I was getting the parts I needed, plus commented on my t-shirt which lead to a whole other friendly discussion. I never receive this good of service even at the smaller hardware stores.

Whew! This has got to be one of the worst building placements I've seen. It's no small feat to find your way to this Home Depot's front door. Nestled back behind several other businesses, well back from the road, this place is easy to miss (and if you're not careful, you'll get right on to I-275 instead - happened to me). Once you're in, though, it's just like any other Home Depot. The employees are friendly and helpful, and the place is laid out just as you'd expect. No need to go on and on, I think. If you like Home Depot and you can find the place, you're good to go.

The Customer Service used to be stellar but now it is very much lacking, I m sorry to say. The store almost always has what I need but I literally have to go searching for assistance and lately when I get it, it's somewhat unfriendly and reluctant. There was a time not long ago that associates were always asking if I needed help and they were throughout the store and very friendly. Definitely a different bunch working there now.

I have never felt obligated to write a review for any company I have visited before, poor service or not. I have been dealing with this store for nearly a month to even start processing a door installation order. It took them over a week from our initial appointment to have a contractor measure my door, which took them less than 60 seconds, literally. They contacted me the day after to come finalize my order. It took 3 different visits to the store for an employee "authorized" to make the sale to do so, even though there is a manager on duty at all times in retail stores. Sale was finally completed and I scheduled my installation for the 20th of this month, I was very thrilled. Woke up this morning to a voicemail saying my door wouldn't be cut and in store until July 11th. Hopefully they informed their contractor. DO NOT GET A DOOR AT HOME DEPOT, ESPECIALLY IF IT HAS NON-STANDARD MEASUREMENTS.
