Worse place to have a home remodeling job! Upfront full payment required and the job is subcontracted to a 2nd or 3rd party to do the substandard work. Contracted this Home Depot to do my kitchen remodel work, and they subcontracted the work to Los Altos construction Co. Cabinets defective, cracks on the joining panels, and sloppy installation. Flooring tile work that is uneven, 1 1/2” transition leveling from dining room to kitchen. A different company would’ve done the flooring correctly and professionally unlike Home Depot’s use of Los Altos remodeling co; who used a 3rd party, and perhaps unlicensed tile workers who didn’t know what to do and how to do it! Zero efforts to use laser guides to make sure the leveling of cabinets and flooring is correctly positioned! This Home Depot will not care or be responsible for the damages the subcontractor does or creates. Home Depot will also protect the subcontractor rather than the customer! Had to file a complaint with the board of contractors. Home Depot doesn’t care…. They collect the money upfront and walk away from responsibility. Don’t do a kitchen remodeling job with Home Depot! See pictures.

I have such a great experience every time I shop here. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They always know what aisle and area when I ask for help. I especially appreciate the team in the garden center. Really pleasant experience - keep up the good work and service-minded hospitality.

This is my go to Home Depot. I come here with a dream and a crazy idea. The staff is so good about interpreting my visions and making them turn into a reality. This trip I wanted a shoe mat in a small size. Carpet samples we're not going to work. Fake turf no. I was directed to the shoe mat area. I found a lovely perfect mat but it was like twice the size of what I needed. And I needed two. So I purchased said mat and went on to search for a helpful associate. The man of the hour is Angel Rodarte. Okay so I was just asking for him to cut something in half, but not expecting him to. The machines couldn't do it but he said a box cutter could. But I don't own one of those. He happens to carry one around. Yay. I showed him my receipt and he accepted my Home Depot challenge to cut it in half. I was hoping it to be cut somewhat down the middle. But this guy brought out a ruler, made a perfectly straight line down the middle. And then made a perfect cut. Beyond my expectations. That's the experience I've come to enjoy from Home Depot. A+ Oh yeah in this place has plenty of free parking, a great garden section and a lot of knowledgeable people who work there that give a damn about their job. The playlist in the garden center kicks ass, playing some cuts from the 90s and 2000s. I want to add that I came back and Marquez search top and bottom that tire store to help me find a tub for my tomato plants. Then he modified it for me like a boss. Thanks guys!

Unfortunately I have to give this place just *. Why? Their machine for cutting artificial grass was broken. I called a few times over the last few days spending almost an hour on the calls. Never got connected to a right person despite speaking to humans a few times. Meanwhile, half of the staff in this store really look like they have time in their hands. Now I just lost another hour to get there and back and learn that the machine remains broken. Really not sure why’s so hard in fixing the problem of connecting customers over the phone…

Wow this is amazing! I just read this 1 star review for Home Depot from a woman complaining about their behavior toward white women!!!!! The same disgusting thing happened to me!! I went to Home Depot a couple of weeks ago, I usually go there with my husband to buy big item but at this time I went alone. When I'm with my husband and we do our self check out, nobody comes to help us. I went alone for the first time, 3 kids literally jumped on me requesting to help me even tough I never asked for it. For the reference, I'm also a white woman. They really think we're stupid!!!

The store has excellent selection of hardware parts but the parking lot needs to be cleaned up. During a recent trip, I noticed loose screws and nails littered on a parking spot next to my car. Getting a flat tire is the last thing any customer wants when stopping by home depot to pickup home repair items.

I want to share an experience that I had with the Marina del Rey Home Depot. I went in for one thing, came out with 20, just like at a grocery store. I bought eight new outdoor chairs for my deck. I had a friend pick him up. There were only seven, and most of them had paint all over it. It was definitely paint because I tried washing one of the chairs. I emailed HD cares, and only got automated response. The automated response says someone will get back to you within 24 hours. That never happened. The reason I'm writing this five-star review, is only because of Tanya, the customer service manager that helped me at store level when I came back to the store to get the wrong righted. She was a pleasure to work with. She was courteous, efficient, and smart. I like smart people because they think outside the box and find solution to the problem. Two days later, I had eight clean chairs that were delivered to my house. They picked up the seven that were damaged with paint and took him back to the store. Whatever Home Depot is paying Tanya, it's not enough. They should give her a raise, or even better, promote her to teach and train other customer service individuals at the Home Depots nationwide. I know good service when I see it because I've been teaching and training sales and customer service for over 40 years. Thank you Tanya for great customer service 👍

It is important that I share how much patience is demonstrated by the associates that work at this Home Depot. At approximately 5:50pm, I started my pleasant shopping experience with a male and female that assisted me with selecting a new washer and dryer. Unfortunately, I did not get their names. However, I will return to make sure they get the sale. Next, I met Cesar who went beyond to help me select a new tub, vanity and glass door. Cesar, similar to the folks that work in the appliance department, was extremely knowledgeable. I live in South Bay but Cesar and the folks in the appliance department were so great that I will be making the Playa Vista location my store of choice.

Yelp
Shout-Out to Sam in Lumber! Big thanks to Sam in the lumber department for his outstanding service. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and went out of his way to help with my project. Great attitude and even better customer support My husband and I appreciated him.

Yelp
Update - Even Worse Experience with Returns We recently ordered insulation from this store and had leftovers, so we started the return process through the mobile app. The app gave us a QR code and even stated in the legal message that we could return items to any store. When my husband took the items back to the Cypress location, the staff gave him a terrible attitude and made the process unnecessarily difficult. They claimed that only a certain quantity could be returned there, and that we would have to drive 30 miles to another store to return the rest. This is ridiculous -- the return page clearly says you can bring items back to any store. How is a customer supposed to know about these hidden restrictions if they're not listed anywhere? What should have been a simple return turned into a stressful, time‑wasting experience. Stores need to honor what their own system promises or, at the very least, communicate clearly about exceptions. After the last horrible experience I had order insulation and they are showing item still not shipped so I texted customer service and I was told by representative Listen!!! They are nowhere near helpful nor respectful. I ordered composite deck tiles from Home Depot on June 13th. First, they lost my shipment, forcing me to cancel and reorder. I waited again, expecting delivery by June 30th, and today--guess what? They delivered a completely wrong item meant for someone else! Totally different person's order just showed up at my door. This is now my third attempt to get the right product. To make it worse, they said I have to wait for a refund before I can reorder again--even though the mistake was 100% theirs! Why don't they require drivers to take delivery photos like every other major retailer? It would've prevented this entire mess. I've spent hours on hold with customer service, been promised callbacks that never happened, and still have no decking tiles after 2.5 weeks. Absolutely unacceptable. If you're ordering anything for home projects on a timeline--don't trust Home Depot delivery.

Yelp
Home Depot is one of those stores you can have a hit or miss With. The first thing I would suggest is to download their app to tell you a lot of information before you even go there if you need something special. Most of the employees are cordial and easy to deal with. Of course is always an exception. This is the store I go to the most and overall my experience have been good! There's no doubt I'll be back because I always have to buy more hardware :-)

Yelp
Excellent customer service here when I needed to cut lumber and to find a screen door. Joe Rubio was especially helpful and spent a lot of time with me. Great job!

Yelp
What a difference a day makes, and for this particular location a few months. Came here in need of some serious expertise from the gardening department with regards to my need to purchase 10 to 12 ft tall trees for my patio to not only offer some shade from the sun, but shade from nosy neighbors and they're prying eyes. Lol Luckily enough, I was fortunate to run into Mr George (pictured) who was kind enough to provide a ton of practical and logistical info with regards to any future or pending purchase I may make. The reality of the matter is that not all 10 to 12 ft high plants are created alike, and some are suited for hot weather more so than others. Lastly, and this is what's most important to me is just how much watering or intensive care will be needed for these particular plants. The ones I was looking at while meeting the height requirement;, looked a bit beat up and neglected. Mr George was kind enough to let me know that this was because these were the bottom of the barrel (or what was left) so to speak. The fresh trees; particularly with the desired height that I have would require would probably arrive early next week. I thanked him and was grateful for his time.

Yelp
I've had nothing but good luck working with the most loveliest customer service and sales staff. Everyone is always attentive and has been wonderful to work with. I am eagerly waiting on my new appliance. I was able to grab a great sale and savings for my purchase too.

Yelp
I purchased a set of LG appliances (refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher) from Home Depot, and while the appliances are perfect, the installation was a nightmare! The installers didn't have a simple part for the dishwasher, so I had to call my local plumber to have the dishwasher installed for almost $500. I was refunded my installation fee from Home Depot, but I am so disappointed at this extra cost.

Tamra B.

Yelp
Terrible customer service. I bought an upscale bbq grill so that I wouldn't have to assemble it--free delivery and set-up. It was a floor model and wasn't set up completely and the delivery guy didn't know how to put it together. Also, once I connected the propane, it didn't work. When I called, spoke with a manager who said she would send a service employee the next day to come pick up the grill and bring it back. I stayed home all day and they never came, never called. Now I'm on the phone again and they're saying oh sorry they had no one to do it today.

Yelp
This review is specific to Los Altos Construction-- the kitchen cabinet installation company that works with Home Depot in Los Angeles... I wasn't sure what to expect with the cabinet installation crew that came with purchasing our Kraft-Maid kitchen cabinets through Home Depot, but I was pleasantly surprised and impressed from start to finish. Their communication was solid, they arrived on time, and prepared all the measurements perfectly for our cabinet designer at Home Depot. The installation was smooth, and actually got it done in 1 very long day. I noticed a few issues over the next couple days, and the installer came back out quickly to take care of them-- including a pony wall that needed to be slightly shaved in order to make it level before the countertop installers could install the countertops. Although I had to have Los Altos back again after the countertop installers made me pop some crown molding off a certain area for our ceiling-high backsplash so they could install it easier. A different installer came by and popped it all back in without problem a few days later. Jacob, the owner, has been super easy to communicate with through text and/or phone, and has been extremely professional. While I hope to never go through a forced remodel again, (water damage), I wouldn't hesitate to use Los Altos Construction again. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Although Home Depot in general has good customer service this store is the worst--with the exception of the pickup counter where the service reps are polite, well trained and efficient. The customer service department for returns is unfortunately the opposite-oftentimes slow and defensive. Cross training is needed. It starts with the customer service calls. Several times now I have called and nobody picks up. Or worse, it goes from the hold music to ringing only to have someone pick up and place the call directly back on hold. Is the policy not to pick up the phone?

Brent T.

Yelp
This Home Depot had a large endcap poster promoting that the purchase of a fire alarm will include a free Ring camera. The register wasn't ringing up correctly and I asked for some help. Four different associates I'm succession tried to help and were very friendly. We made multiple trips to see the large poster with the promotion to validate what it says. Ultimately the store manager was called and I was waiting for that person to arrive. After a while there was a call to the associate saying that the promotion doesn't start until two days from now. I'm not sure why that wasn't disclosed on the promotional poster and normally stores will honor promotions when they are advertised. This manager didn't even bother to speak with me and just said no. As a business operator I always try to do the right thing and treat then customer fairly - particularly when the customer has been waiting for a while and it's the mistake of the store. That was not the case here - there is either poor management at this location or the parent company has customer unfriendly policies. Sadly it's not the first issue I've had with Home Depot (previously it was the delivery service that didn't work) but it's the first time I felt compelled to leave feedback. Very disappointing and will impact my future purchases.

Yelp
I usually dont write reviews, but I was very dissapointed by the service at Home Depot on Tuesday 7/22/25 at 7:30pm to 8:20pm. Was nwver once greeted. Employees on phone not helpping cutomers. Went in to buy $7000 worth of products. Paints, appliances, dishwashers. After 10 minutes of eaiting finally was approached. Was told someone would come to help me and my fiancee. No one did. We then were told to go to customer service. 3 employees there only onr anseering questioms 10 minute line. Mayra thr manager was paged but never came after waiting. I wouldve spent $7000 but not now. Do not shop here. I havr never in my life wrote a bad review but whatever the male Meyra R. Is running is not good. They shouldbe aware od this really bad customer service. I probably couldve slipped and blood and no one wouldve noticed. Debra wasnt helpful either. Coorporste should step in and retrain employees. The man in plumbing was helpful and empathetic but siad he could only help in plumbing not apppliances.

Yelp
I paid $120 for a scheduled delivery from Home Depot, plus a $30 "express" fee to ensure it would arrive this morning between 10AM and noon. At 9:15AM -- before the delivery window even began -- I received a message saying the delivery had "failed" and needed to be rescheduled. I've now spent over 45 minutes on hold with customer service, after several failed attempts to speak to someone. No one can tell me what happened, and no one seems able to help. To make things even worse, when I tried to cancel the order, I was told that I have to go in person to the store -- which is 45 minutes from my home. Seriously? In 2025? This has been an absolute nightmare. I planned my whole day around this delivery, and now I've lost time, money, and patience. I'll be shopping at Lowe's from now on -- at least they treat customers with basic respect and don't leave them stranded with zero accountability. Do better, Home Depot. Much better.

Yelp
August 2023 / Playa Vista: Home Depot at this location is great! Plus, I love seeing all the gorgeous flowers & plants, including the cutest animal planters! I've been coming here for years and sometimes several times a day! Each time, customer service is amazing! Often times, whenever I have a question, whoever is helping me goes above and beyond, and then some, and I'm grateful! I stopped by the other night to pick up a few items, had a few questions, and there were plenty of laughs in the process, as well as being helped by several people & referred to others to answer further questions! Thanks to everyone at Home Depot who is always willing to give a helping hand, as well as customer service with a smile! Overall: Great location, excellent customer service, neat and tidy & always seems to leave me smiling! Haha! I can always appreciate phenomenal customer service, it truly makes a difference!

Yelp
I just let their phone ring without an answer three times adding up to a total of 45 minutes without ever speaking to anyone. If your like to waste your time, call these #$&$%s

Yelp
I went into this location looking for some lights. I took everything on the shelf but was short a few. I noticed the website said there was a few more, so I asked an associate named Deniz. She looked like she was in a rush but took the time to explain she was currently helping another customer but would come back to assist. She came back and connected me to an electrician. He said he would assist once he helped his customer. It was taking longer than expected, so Deniz stepped up and said she would help. She found the extra lightbulbs I needed. She grabbed the ladder, went up to grab what I needed and made sure I was satisfied. She went above and beyond for me. I'm thankful she was there as I was in a rush. Great customer service!

Yelp
Home and garden section is clean with stuff easy to find. Staff is friendly and I value that greatly! Price is normal . Food vendors posted outside to cure your hunger with hot dogs, carne asada, tamales and aguas frescas.

Yelp
omg I hate this place so much with its terrible location wasting space and always an issue getting in and out of there. The corporate company itself is horrible and the store selection mediocre. They sell destructive invasive plants and mid-quality other things. I will go almost anywhere else before I go here. Unfortunately, sometimes they are the only choice since so many quality stores have been destroyed by the predatory actions of places like this.

Yelp
The sad thing about this store is that visiting it makes you realize what an absolute wasteland Los Angeles is. They're always shortstaffed here. They don't answer the phone and the register lines are very long. The parking lot is dirty and feels unsafe for a woman going to the store and the guys lined up to get hired for work or all around the store and want to be paid $50 an hour, which is hilarious because they don't have any kind of work permits, professional licenses, or insurance. But if she just wanna go here with your husband, buy stuff for your house don't mind waiting in line...It's a good place.

Yelp
If I could leave the Sandy, Ut Store (4409) zero stars I would. I have shopped at this store for years; always treated respectfully. Until today!!! After parking to enter the store I noticed a blue 4X4 in the parking lot with 2 dogs inside (my vehicle register 78 degrees). All four windows were open no more than a quarter of an inch. The dogs were clearly becoming over heated. I spoke with Tanya at customer service, asking if they could please make an announcement in HD about the dogs, I thought they would complete a simple request to help these two dogs. After about 20 min. Owen (such as disrespectful, nasty young man) was laughing; disrespectful and dismissive young man. I was stunned. Shame on you HOME DEPOT!!! I believe your marketing dogs are welcome campaign is untruthful and puffing! I ask that animal lovers share this post and stop animal cruelty!

Yelp
I've bought 7 appliances here in the past 3 years - and on my last refrigerator order, the reverse door hinge was not included (LG says they are included with every refrigerator, so Home Depot must have lost it). And, they refuse to come out and reverse it, after I ordered it from LG. HD even claims that their workers who showed up to reverse it, actually did not show up! Take your money elsewhere.

Yelp
Very unhappy with customer service. I purchased a washer and dryer set. The delivery was rescheduled multiple times by Home Depot, and finally delivered over the holidays when my roommate was working from home and I was at work. The unit began making a banging noise several days later. When I called to report this, I was told that Home Depot was only responsible for problems reported in the first 48 hours, even though I had purchased their additional warrantee, which is outsourced to Allstate. Over the next month, i had two service visits from the Home Depot installer team (Temco) and the LG team (MGR), who both said that it was Home Depot's fault, as the unit was dented on the side (which was hard to see) and inside (which could only be seen if you opened up the unit). After a month of this and multiple hours on the phone, Home Depot refused to replace the unit. Also during this time, I got only a single callback, when the manager called to say that Home Depot would not replace the unit. I will not be buying here again.

Yelp
I drive all the way out there. I look for parking. I park. I get myself a shopping cart. I push it around the gigantic store looking for all I need to buy. I find the items. I go over to checkout. I scan all my items. I choose Pay. I hold my phone up to applepay. THEY DO NOT ACCEPT APPLE PAY !!! Nowhere in the store !!?! WTF don't they tell you that on their website ? WTF don't they mention it when you pick up a cart ? Or on your way into the store ? Seriously WTF ? If you don't have your wallet like I didn't have mine, because the year is 2024 and even beggars take Apple Pay. Home Depot does not do Apple Pay !!!?! WTF ? Why ? I had to drive all the way home. Over an hour wasted. Gas wasted. Time wasted. This is the Home Depot experience they gave me today. One of their big customers.

Yelp
This review is for Hector. Who did a great job at helping me find what I needed. When I showed him what I was looking for I did not get a "sorry we don't have it" type of answer. Instead, he walked me to the aisle searched on his device(confirmed it was in stock) and looked all the way to the back of the bottom shelf. I was ready to walk out of the store but I'm glad i asked for help and he found what I was looking for! Thank you.

Yelp
A small, but unsettling thing happened about 10 days ago. It still bothers me. Early last Sunday I was shopping for plants in the nursery... there were very few customers at the time. As I headed to check out, there was an Asian employee who stood over me as I scanned each item. Hovering. I felt her staring at me, so I looked up. She said, "YOU NEED TO SCAN AND PAY FOR ALL ITEMS." I smiled and said, "That's what I'm doing." I paid, and left feeling like a criminal. Why does that woman think I'm not going to pay? She was obviously thinking it. Does she say that to ALL the customers? Or just to African Americans? I'm left wondering. I have questions. It's subtle.

Yelp
Tried to buy flooring here. My God, what a nightmare of incompetence and zero accountability at all levels. I've never been through so much corporate madness. I paid $10k for flooring though a Home Depot credit card. Then, somehow Home Depot's finance dep't couldn't see the payment in their system. But it was on my credit card statement. Two weeks of trying to find out where my money went, being transferred all around with no answers, and people saying "so-and-so will call you with a resolution tomorrow" etc., but nobody would actually call. I would have to call in myself, get transferred around, only to get nowhere. After putting up with way too much of this, I got Citibank (the bank behind the HD card) to reverse the charge. I lost two weeks and several hours of my time on the phone. and never found a way to get them to take my money and provide the flooring. I gave up and went to Lowe's. Ultimately I'm glad I escaped without any further time lost...I can't imagine what it would be like to go through installation, or God forbid, need to make a warranty claim if it's installed incorrectly. Run away from this place.

Yelp
This review is only for an EMPLOYEE named DAVID. On Thursday April 3rd, 2025 an employee was generously helping my 85+yr old mom & myself. It was such a rare experience I had to leave this recognition. I've been a HD customer for 30+ years remodeling apartments & gardening & buying appliances for dozens of houses & NO ONE HAS EVER BEEN SO GENEROUS WITH THEIR TIME! He was so incredibly kind, helpful, polite & just generally a genuine GREAT EMPLOYEE of Home Depot! We only spent a few hundred dollars but he didn't care he was so personable I'll definitely come looking for him over & over again when I need something. You may have even saved a customer from leaving & going to Lowe's. I'll stay with Home Depot & shop with David now.

Yelp
Y'all! This Home Depot will knock your socks off. The staff is always friendly and super helpful. Every time I ask where something is, (air filters, nuts and bolts, toilet seats, you name it) They legit know where everything is, saving you time and stress. Also, their nursery section has so many affordable plants, and not the little shop of Horrors type (although there are Venus fly traps if that's on the shopping list).

Yelp
Poor customer service. I purchased items online for in store pickup. An hour later I received a message that my order was canceled because the items were out of stock. I double checked and only one item was "low in stock" everything else was in stock in high numbers. You don't cancel an order just because one item is "low" or out of stock if everything else is available. No one answers the phone, it just rings and rings.

Yelp
I will never get a credit card with home depo and citibank.I paid my balance with a representative and then they continue saying i had a $200 balnace. They claimed the worker made a mistake and i owe $200.Well i paid that and the representative told me they will erased past late fees. And for the third time they continue harassing me saying i still have a balance.I called again and i asked to speak with a new supervisor and incredibly she did the same thing. They are stealing peoples clients money by lying about our balance. Not to trust them.

Yelp

My wife and I purchased doors at the Home Depot on Jefferson. We had a negative experience with one of their managers, but Store Manager Luis Miguel really stepped up to the plate and went the extra mile. Everything was above out expectations. Thank you so much, Luis. Best regards, Michael Meyer

Yelp
Reyna was a phenomenal help...as a part time, DIY or... i.e., not really familiar with tools, or the male dominated world of Home Depot... a woman walking through the aisles of a Home Depot...Not really knowing exactly what you're supposed to get and what you shouldn't get Reyna was extremely helpful and very bright, with a a smart, bubbly, personality, and just all-around wonderful employee. I would want somebody like Reyna working for me if I owned a Home Depot! What a ray of sunshine totally enjoyed my visit to Home Depot made better by Reyna. Thank you, Reyna!

Yelp
I had a problem with my hot water heater, had to bring it back twice. Tonya helped me both times at the return counter and she was very helpful. She is on it and knows her stuff. Home Depot needs more people like her!

Yelp
Miss Tanja in Order Pickup saved my day. I placed my order online for Curbside pickup, because I have a disability and really bad pain today. By the time the "order ready" message came through, Curbside pickup was closed (they don't tell you this when placing the order). I called ahead to get some help, but was put on a Neverending loop off ringing. Got to the store and had to go in to get help. Customer Service/ Order Pickup line was not fun, and I was directed to another area for Online Order Pickup. Miss Tanya was one of 3 reps there, and she was the only one to great me (and cheerfully did). As soon as I explained the problem, she was more than eager to help me. She walked outside to ensure she sent someone to the correct car, and the wait was not long at all after that. This gal deserves a raise and positive recognition!

Yelp
I am super duper disappointed in the transition to 'self check out'! Sure there are humans, one has to wait, I don't work here, I should not be forced to self check out. The revamp isn't to my personal liking. Although I did witness a 'not so helpful' customer employee interaction where a customer asked a question and was told 'I don't work in that area' and the employee walked away, no 'let me get someone for you' no offering of assistance at all... it is possible the employee did get someone, but today makes me encouraged to travel to the other local nurseries for plant life. Today my main reason for visiting was for wood filler. Do better Marina Home Depot

Yelp
No one answers phones, poor customer service. This location pales in comparison to the Ladera store.

Yelp
A few months ago, I purchased a RYOBI 40v battery-powered weed trimmer from my local Home Depot store in North Hollywood, Ca. After barely using it, I found that the string had broken instead the trimmer head and the had to be restrung by removing the head cap. It is absolutely impossible to remove this trimmer head cap in order to get to the spool since it is seized up from inside. I checked on YouTube for any recommendations on how to remove the cap, and found that this is a regular and common problem with RYOBI trimmers (check "Remove stuck RYOBI 40v Trimmer head" on YouTube). I tried to return the trimmer to Home Depot and was told that the warranty had just expired and the trimmer could not be returned for a store credit or refund. I was also told by the lady in Cust. Srvc. that RYOBI is just a generic brand and not of much quality. My question is: If that's so, WHY is Home Depot flooding the front of their stores with RYOBI products which are only to become inoperable after a few months? In future, I will not trust Home Depot or the RYOBI brand as much as I did previously. Having to replace these products after such a short time is expensive on a senior's Social Security income.

Yelp
We were checking out and we just needed a few things removed from our cart since we were doing two orders so we asked for help, then this old ass lady wouldn't leave and was very rude and pushy, then our coupons weren't working so we were a little annoyed at that but didn't fuss too much and she kept making these back handed comments, whatever we paid full price for first order, then this boomer had the audacity to look at my boyfriend and tell him, she's already irritated she's not gunna like this, in terms of him having to get another one of the items since it doesn't have a barcode. Old people are always the rudest, her grey hair looked nasty also, some people grey beautifully, not her.

Yelp
DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES HERE! Sure, they will take your money for the appliance and then they will send out sketchy installers who damage the appliance during install. Installers have no ID on them and there's ZERO accountability. Arrived in an unmarked truck that doesn't even have a license plate. Real third world stuff. Home Depot customer service is nearly impossible to reach when you have a problem (and you will). I waited 2 hours to speak to someone and the problem still isn't resolved. Use Lowes...use anyone one else.

Yelp
My family and I walked into the store at 7pm. We walked straight to the Tool Rental area and I said hello to the man working in that area. He didn't smile or say hello back, just stared at us. I asked him if there was a truck available for rent at this time. He mumbles something at us and I had to ask him to repeat himself several times, because he kept walking away from us as we were speaking. He finally confirmed that he had a truck available and we asked him a few questions about what it takes to rent one. He kept giving me sarcastic answers (SO unprofessional) and made us feel like we were bothering him. He treated us like an annoyance. We told him that we would go shop for our items first and then come back to rent the truck. He said that was fine. We walked off and I felt unsettled about how rude he was towards us, but started shopping anyway. My family and I split up to get the shopping done quicker. Around 7:50 my dad came to me confused and said that the guy came to him and said "You know we close at 9, are you still renting a truck?" My dad told him yes, that we were almost done shopping, and we will come right back. We finish shopping and pay $300 for our items. It was 8:10. My dad walked back to finish renting the truck and the same guy looks at him and says "It's past 8, we don't rent trucks after 8." How are we supposed to know you don't rent trucks past 8pm if you don't tell us that?! If the store closes at 9, how would we just magically know that we can't get a truck past 8?? That should have been the first thing he told us when we walked up to him at 7. I truly believe this man intentionally gave us the run around just so he wouldn't have to deal with us and literally do his own job. From the first interaction with this man I could feel his negative energy. So now we just bought $300 worth of wood and other items that won't fit into my small fiat and no way to take them home. We walked to customer service and explained the situation to a lovely lady named Sara. She literally went above and beyond for us. She was so helpful and willing to fix the situation for us right away. She told us that we could leave the items there and that we could come pick them up the next day. Even though I am feeling completely unsettled about leaving $300 worth of paid merchandise behind, I am hopeful that my items will still be there tomorrow when we return. I really hope that management sees this and has a conversation with the man at the Tool Rental department. He really needs to work on his bad attitude and lack of customer service. He didn't even offer any help to the situation once he denied us the truck. We had to seek a solution elsewhere with Sara. This Home Depot is LUCKY to have an employee like Sara, who put in the extra work to fix a bad situation created by a different employee. Way to pick up someone else's slack girl, I appreciate you.
