7 Exciting Things To Do & Eat In LA Between May 11th-May 16th

"You know it’s going to be a good week when a package you forgot you ordered finally arrives on your doorstep. Oh, and when Chainsaw brings back their strawberry lilikoi sherbet. Sweet and tart, it’s one of our favorite flavors from the Echo Park pop-up, and is available for a limited time only this Friday, May 14th, from 1-6pm. Walk-ups only." - kat hong

6 Exciting Things To Do & Eat Between November 10th-14th

"If you’re like us and already know there’s zero chance you’re baking your own pie for Thanksgiving this year, pre-order from Chainsaw starting this Thursday, November 11th. The Eastside pop-up makes some of our favorite desserts in the city, and this year, they’re selling an apple-strawberry-date pie and their famous passionfruit + lime icebox pie for Thanksgiving. Note: Don’t procrastinate, they will sell out. Looking for other Thanksgiving takeout options? Here are 30 more." - brant cox

LA's Best Dishes: The Infatuation's favorite meals of the week. - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"In a city filled with some of the best Korean, Mexican, Armenian, and Ethiopian restaurants around, choosing my next meal can sometimes feel like an impossible task, akin to picking a favorite Dev Patel movie. But other times, it’s quite easy - like when I see a freezer full of ice cream on Instagram then immediately DM Chainsaw. The sort-of-secret Echo Park pop-up has been a favorite of mine for a while now, from their mouth-puckering sorbets to vegan smoked potato sandwiches that arrive on crusty baguettes shipped down in a basket. This past weekend (in additional to literally four different flavors of ice cream), I ordered one of their passionfruit + lime side pies - a heavenly, rectangularly shaped dessert that looks like someone slathered a pan pizza in Salvadoran crema and tastes of tangy citrus mixed with ice-cold graham crackers. Basically, exactly what I wanted to eat during a long, unsuccessful weekend of trying to convince my friend to let me borrow her space heater. -KH" - The Infatuation Los Angeles Crew

Infatuation Editorial Lead Brant Cox's 5 Favorite LA Restaurants Right now - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"I’m going to be really transparent right now - I kind of hate picnics. No matter what park or stretch of dead grass you end up in, there’s always a million bugs, chaotic sitting positions, and the same grocery store dip that you didn’t like from the last picnic. That said, I realized that if I wanted to see any of my friends this year, I needed to get over it. With the help of Chainsaw, I have. This Historic Filipinotown pop-up is run by the former pastry chef at Here’s Looking At You (RIP) and a sous chef at Providence and has wholeheartedly made me appreciate eating on the ground again. They do this fantastic $30 lunchbox on weekends that comes with a salad, a dessert, and an insanely delicious pork shoulder sandwich, but don’t get upset if you can’t get one (they sell out fast). Instead, focus on the homemade pies. I understand it’s hyperbolic to say a place makes the best pie I’ve ever eaten in my life, but Chainsaw does just that. And that’s a sentiment that’ll almost certainly be shared at whatever picnic you show up at." - Brant Cox

I go to this Home Depot often for purchasing supplies for work. I like that they always have plenty in stock and even more items than other Home Depot stores I’ve been to. There is plenty of staff which is nice but I removed 1 star for customer care. Like I said I come here often and because I am making many different types of transactions for different jobs I have to use different credit cards, job names, etc. So I always use the self checkout. I know theft can be an issue so I understand they want to “help me” with my checkout but it is so much easier for me to do it. I even tell them they can stand next to me and watch if they are concerned about me not scanning something. But it just seems like the employees get upset when I don’t ask for assistance. It happens more than not. If it was a 1 time thing I wouldn’t remove a star but it’s just about every time I go there.

Google
This Home Depot has bad customer service. I went in to buy some paint and the customer service clerk was busy and never acknowledged my presence. I was waiting for her to do so and never did. So I asked if I needed a number after standing there for about five minutes. Then she said yes and that I needed to wait on the other side. There was probably about 7 people waiting on “the other side” and there was just one clerk and she had an attitude. I just ended up leaving because that would’ve probably taken 40 minutes. Home Depot needs to step up their customer service and stop advertising that they have good customer service. 🙄🙄

Google
This is by far the worst Home Depot I’ve been to. The Pro Desk is completely useless and unbearably slow. You end up waiting anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledges that there’s a line—on the other side of the store, no less. The woman working the Pro Desk behaves like she’s doing me a massive favor just by showing up to her shift. She’s consistently slow, dismissive, and unprofessional. I’ve started driving to a different Home Depot for everything I need, even if it’s out of the way, just to avoid this one. The customer service is abysmal, and it’s clear the issue stems from poor management and poor hiring practices—or maybe she’s related to the manager, which would explain a lot. This location desperately needs new leadership. Or just any leadership. I swear I could run this store better with my eyes closed

Eli Reyna

Google
I don't usually write negative reviews but the customer service at this Home Depot is beyond bad. No one knows anything, there are random 20 year old employees just chatting and doing nothing. It's actually a bit embarrassing how bad these stores have gotten. I went to Baller and had all my questions answered. I read that 20+ years ago, stores like Home Depot actually hired experts and qualified people. Those days are LOOOOOOONG gone.

Mitch Weissman

Google
Customer service/representatives have always been below average....... RETURN POLICIES are BEYOND FLAWED because of their LACK of PILFERING ENFORCEMENTS(NOW AFFECTING EXISTING PATRONS; REGARDLESS IF YOU HAVE A RECEIPT or otherwise.) ....... ultimately LUCKY if you have a pleasant or productive experience ‼️

Matthew Waite

Google
Absolutely the worst home depot. Second time my car got broken into in the middle of the day, not from the truck bed, they literally blew they lock cylinder out of the door and went into the truck to steal the tools. Filled with all kinds of shady people in the parking lot with zero security. I've been slowly drifting more towards Lowes lately and I think this was the final nail for me. Get security and control your parking lot so customers can feel safe parking there. This isn't the only home depot like this either, but it's definitely one of the worse.

Zelph Kinderhook

Google
Canceled the wrong item on the order for pickup, so the the items I wanted were NOT READY when I went to pick them up. Never apologized for their mistakes, of course. They're low wage idiots who don't understand or care.

Google
This is the best home depot location! Juan the Department Head for tools helped me out when I was in a bind. They were out of a product I needed to get my job moving again yesterday. So he helped me get an alternative product! Thank you Juan!

Yelp
This review is for their Tool Rental department. My back patio has so much dried leaves and spiderweb stuff in the cracks and crevices of the decking, and wanted a powerful blower to blast all that yuck out! Instead of buying and having no where to store a power tool I'd use 1x a year, my mom suggested renting one from Home Depot! Duhhhhhhhh!! Reserving it online was super easy. Ian is the associate that helped me out and answered all of my dumb questions. I was in and out of the store quickly and got my clean on!!!!! 4 hours for this item was only $22 (including optional insurance just in case hehe). I'm inspired to do more stuff and also just to try these items out before purchasing (if needed). Gives me some peace of mind as a future non-handy homeowner! Thank you!!!!
google avatar

Charlie G.

Yelp
I called in to the store looking for an item that showed online only this location had in stock. I spoke with Ricky in the Millworks Desk. He went out of his way to search for the item and hold them for me until I came to pick it up. After I needed one last item in the lumber, He personally guided me to the location and assisted in finding another associate to cut the wood to my specific dimensions. Great shopping experience.

Yelp
I would give zero stars if I could here, but I'm being generous to give one star. 1. This store has the worst register system. 2. The self-help entrance aisle is too small; hard to get in; you can't bring lunber. It should accommodate all people and merchandise width!! 3. The pro desk people won't take cash for pro customers, 4. There were 3 cashiers standing pretending they were working. 5. The lumber register has only 1 cashier; the line was 80 feet, and no one seemed to care. The manager here should come visit the Home Depot Pasadena. He would be blown away!! Nice system, nice competent cashier that can spell simple words. Lines move pretty quick. And they take both cash or card. This Depot, in Cypress Park, is terrible, and I wouldn't recommend coming here!! Don't waste your time!!

Yelp
Was there the other day Daisy P. helped me out at the self check out I didn't even have my Home Depot card on me I taught I was gonna have to go home and come back she said I can help you with that she said type in your SSN and show me your valid ca driver lic ID and you should be ok . Sure enough that simple She gave me the best Customer Service I have ever received at a Home Depot and had a good friendly attitude ! I'm glad she helped me out Thanks Daisy P. keep up the Great Customer Service & Good Vibes you saved me a lot of time I taught for sure I was going to have to make a second trip for 2 items but I didn't

Yelp
I've been to so many about 4 home depots in the last month and some more than once and other stores also. I was finally making final decisions on which tools to bye and I finally got all the items I wanted. Props to the lady that made the effort to help me. I've been to many stores and in almost all of them I could find help or noone would come back after I asked for it. Though she did bring me one of the tools that was wrong it will still work. I must say there are enough workers in the parking lot to build am apartment building in a day it makes me nervous to leave anything in my car so I try my best to park as close to the store as possible. Anyway great experience, I was in and out quickly and I have to come back soon cuz I just broke my rake.

Edwin R.

Yelp
This place horrible in service parking everything If you park in the parking the people around stole your tools and if you park in the front they call the towing , so this place is bad store for buy even one screw, plase take care if you coming here.
google avatar

Sam W.

Yelp
Don't come here to buy anything that requires a forklift to load.( 1000# sand bags in my case) HDs delivery truck takes priority to unload first so you will wait til they are done. Then wait for the other 6 people waiting with you so it's gonna take at least an hour of your day to get the rather poorly skilled operator to come load you and beat the tar out of your vehicle trying to load it. On top of that, good luck parking any where near the store as the parking lot is essentially a swap meet and day worker lot.
google avatar

Manuel D.

Yelp
Worst home depot ever ! Badly organized, staff is so slow !!! They take their time talking about their family stuff and not there to work just to make a quick dollar. Managment You should be fired !! Step up your game time is money !
google avatar

Israel B.

Yelp
Cuidado!

Yelp
I was thrilled to purchase an outdoor shed from Home Depot, eagerly anticipating its delivery. However, my excitement turned into frustration when the scheduled delivery for the week of December 18th didn't materialize as expected. They rescheduled it for the week of December 25th, coinciding with my out-of-state holiday plans. Despite my efforts to rearrange the delivery, the freighting company, Hub Group, proved to be inflexible and uncooperative. Even after reaching out to Home Depot for assistance, the issue remained unresolved after spending a total of an hour and a half on calls. On December 26th, while I was away, I received notification of an impending delivery on December 27th, which I once again tried to postpone to no avail. The freight company insisted on delivering regardless of my absence, even threatening to leave it on the street. In a desperate attempt to find a solution, I offered to pay extra for a delayed delivery, but Home Depot had no means to accommodate my request. Eventually, we had to cancel the order. It's bewildering that the shed had already been shipped across the country and was idling in their warehouse, turning into their problem to resolve. I'm deeply disappointed by the inefficiency and lack of customer-oriented service in how they conduct business. Despite Home Depot's attempts to assist, their choice of such an unreliable company has led to a loss of my trust and future business.

Yelp
This has to be one of the worst Home Depots out there. They do not know what they are doing and have no idea what the store carries. If you hear "We don't carry that"...look around...there is a good chance they do. Everyone in checkout for pro accounts is rude and rushed. I asked for clarification and was hit with..."You wanna talk to someone else...cause you don't be understanding me I guess." .....Say what? Staff should be taught to say..."I don't have the answer to that but let me find it"....and then find it.

Yelp
I needed to use a Miter saw to cut a roll of savage backdrop paper to fit in my at home studio. I had no access to one anywhere, so I called up Home Depot and sure enough - you can rent a miter saw for $40 for 24 hours. Easy peasy! Drove on over there and the staff at the tool rental area was incredible! Ian was a dope dude and made everything easy for me. Brought the miter saw on home and cut my paper roll with my homeboy and returned it with no problems! I was slightly annoyed I couldn't just use the miter saw at Home Depot as carrying it back and forth was a little heavy, but that's okay, wasn't a big of enough issue to remove a star. Overall, great experience! Would go to Home Depot again next time I need to rent a power tool.

Frank B.

Yelp
Who's idea was it to pave half of the parking lot at peak hour? Absolutely ridiculous - patrons could not find parking. They don't honor online prices here either.

Topher S.

Yelp
I have never been to a more dysfunctional Home Depot in my life. I had the unlucky chance of picking up my order from Robert, a new hire who was training. Robert had a vile attitude towards customers and had customers waiting on 3 different registers that he couldn't close out pickups on. He questioned me with attitude for showing up when I did, told me I was not able to pick the items myself as every other location has let me do countless times and a dismal approach to customer service. I had to sit for 30 minutes while the manager Sarah and picker tried to find 3 simple items before I ended up asking to cancel with another associate who was actually helpful; so I could grab the items myself. It took me all of 3 minutes to do so while they'd taken more than 4 hours to try and get to the order. I will never return to this HD location as there was all but one professional employee in the store who helped get my order cancelled. Every other employee was already on vacation mentally it seems. I was picking up a Christmas present and some final items to finish up a job which has now been pushed another weekend due to Robert's lack of ability and friendliness. This is the first and ONLY bad experience I have ever had at Home Depot.

Joseph D.

Yelp
Be careful when coming to this location. There's people in the parking lot breaking into cars and work trucks. A few of my friends work trucks were broken into within 10 minutes of being in the store. I been told not to go this location unless someone is here to stay with my car or truck while I grab what I need inside. Other than that the store is good. I wish the police would be in the parking lot driving around. A lot of riff raff individuals here.

Gilda M. P.

Yelp
I really hate the way they blocked one entrance and made it a exit only. It's too complicated. I get it and it's ok for people who are just shopping around but most of the people who go there are people who are in a hurry to get their job done. They should help their costumers by making it easier to go get our materials and continue with our projects and works. I think who ever had this idea or designed it has never worked in construction because they don't understand the needs and the mentality of their costumers
google avatar

Rigo J.

Yelp
30 min waiting for an employee to get me a battery charger out of the cage. I asked three employees who were walking around aimlessly for help and they said I had to ask someone in an orange apron. I asked someone in an orange apron. He says he already called somebody, but I had to wait . The whole time there are two employees talking to each other, laughing instead of answering the call for help over the speaker, overpaid employees for sure..

Yelp
I Went to home depot to buy a couple of things today and it was supposed to be a quick in and out so i buy something then I walked back to check price on something else I forgot to get and as I'm walking oit this black female security stop me out of everyone ask to check my bag and I show her then she actually said that I might b stealing wow great judgment

Yelp
I usually try to shop online, but I went into the Home Depot in Cypress Park to get a specific Allen wrench for my Bosch sander. I was so pleasantly surprised to find someone who could help me. Shout out to Isaac in the tool section who knew that I would need a metric Allen for my Bosch. Isaac was so helpful and pleasant that it changed my mind about going into brick and mortar stores. I never would've figured out the tool I needed without his help. He was very knowledgeable and kind. It was nice to know that there are still people who care.! thank you, Isaac.
google avatar

Jackie E.

Yelp
Every time I go into the store, they have no carts for handicap. Also when you asked for help, they will tell you the aisle, but not follow you to help you get what you need bad customer service
google avatar

Josh G.

Yelp
A project with Lumber? Need an opinion on a DIY project? Ask for Adam. He is the man. Very helpful, insightful, and exactly what you want in customer service. He will problem-solve with you if needed and you will walk away feeling like you have the physical and mental material for the job.
google avatar

Andrew F.

Yelp
Do you want to have broken curbside pickup? Do you want to follow employee directions only to get berated and feel threatened by other employees that brings you to the point of tears? If so congratulations you've found the Home Depot location for you. I've been to at least half a dozen Home Depot locations in and around LA and this one takes the cake for employees that shouldn't be near customers. Never in my life did I have, be threatened by a forklift operator on my bingo card but alas today Home Depot Cypress Park granted me that experience. All I can say is avoid this place, and I'd there is a Lowe's, or a do-it-best, or a local hardware shop nearby, go there instead.

Yelp
The Maytag washer my 86 yr old mother purchased would not work for her. She could not push and hold the sensor in for 5 seconds so it would not start. She was told, by Home Depot, that Maytag would replace it but after being transfer all over the US and 2+ hrs later, she was told Maytag would not replace the washer because she bought it through Home Depot and Home Depot would not replace it because it should be covered and replaced by Maytag. Zero culpability, neither company would take responsibility for a bad design and a fake extended warranty! So the loyal Maytag customer, my mom, is left with no recourse other than to ask for help every time she needs to do laundry. DO NOT PURCHASE APPLIANCES THROUGH HOME DEPOT AND STAY CLEAR OF ANY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT! THE WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY (INCLUDING THE EXTENDED WARRANTY) AND YOU WILL GET A VERY UPSETTING RUN AROUND AND A PILE OF DIRTY LAUNDRY!

Ethan K.

Yelp
Came here everyday for 6+ months while doing a construction job nearby. Staff is great but hands down the worst Home Depot in the state. Avoid at all costs.
google avatar

Yasmin M.

Yelp
Apologies for the outdated review. I tried to refrain from writing a bad review but the customer service experience I had was so atrocious, I needed to tell this story even if it's late. Back in 2020, I signed up to get solar curtains in my apartment and paid $50 towards a fee that would pay someone to come measure my windows. The person came and measured and let me know that Home Depot would be calling to help me set up payment for the solar blinds I had already picked. 2 weeks passed, no one called. I went back to the curtain section at Home Depot and let them know that I still needed to buy the curtains and the lady at the stand assured me that Carlos, the person who had helped me pick out the blind would be calling me back to make a purchase for the curtains. 1 month passes. Carlos never called. At this point I'm getting frustrated and I come back in and again, the person assures me that right now they are busy but the agent responsible for helping me pick the blinds would be there on Sunday so to come back then. I came back. Carlos was not there. 6 months pass and I've already moved on and bought my blinds someone else. I see Carlos and discuss with him what had happened and request that I least get my $50 deposit back, to which he looked me up and down and said no. All this to say that this locations customer service is deplorable and I have started going back to the Alhambra location even though it's 2 miles further. Home Depot, please do better.

Angelica M.

Yelp
Geraldo was an amazing worker he helped us so quickly and helped us with our keys all the rest of the employees were not nice except him he has great customer service! Thank you so much Geraldo

William R.

Yelp
Jaykob in the customer service doesn't belong there. The whole point of customer service is to provide it and in a courteous manner. Why does he have to ignore questions and throw the receipts back to the customer? Jaykob needs to acquire some people skills.
google avatar

Brian R.

Yelp
We met with a kitchen designer (Christina C.) at Home Depot (2055 N Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90065) on Oct 29th, we gave detailed measurements the following day, but after several weeks of waiting, unanswered emails, pushing back the deadline when we did call, she now tells us today she can't fill the request because she is the only kitchen designer on staff. On the phone she did not even give us a chance to talk. This possibly was the worse customer service experiences I have had at home depot ever. Especially odd given that we were ready to spend 10s of thousands on a brand new kitchen.

Sophie B.

Yelp
Have you seen the other reviews?! How do these idiots have even 3 stars! I'm still too furious to go into details! Suffice to say that I travel the country with my design business. Sadly, I'm often forced into dealing with repugnant behavior of the orange aprons because there are fewer of the red vest stores (though they're FAR SUPERIOR!) They're truly all terrible (Home Depot's) to different degrees but this location BAR NONE IS THE WORST! Drive drive drive...as far as required to go anywhere else but here! Rude, incompetent, illiterate, entitled, chauvinistic and just downright STUPID! An absolute embarrassment! They should be ashamed!!!
google avatar

Bianca L.

Yelp
I love this location because the employees are always so sweet and really go out of their way to help. I will never ask for help instead I'll search every isle till I find what I need but the employees know how to approach customers very kindly when they look lost and ask them what they're looking for. Shout out to one of the older workers there, they really took their time to walk with me, asked me what I was trying to build and recommended the best things for me. Long lines for covid-19 protocols but they go quick because everyone is in-n-out of here.
google avatar

Franklin M.

Yelp
This COVID-19 pandemic has everyone going crazy remodeling their homes. The local HD that I go to didn't have the product I was looking for so I drove to this store and bought exactly what I needed. The line was long at the cash registers but they took care of the customers quickly.
google avatar

John G.

Yelp
The 5 stars are for Irais, she helped me out with my order when it got cancelled and she fixed it all down to the price point. Thank you so much for the help, sorry I was a bother with all the questions lol but she was very helpful and she was very patient. So hopefully another manager sees this or her and knows. Great workers are appreciated

Yelp
The absolute worst Home Depot ever! With my horrible experience, I am now going to Lowe's only! Horrible customer service, they never answer their phone and communication is 'OFF THE CHARTs' horrific! The delivery system is so messed up so if you do shop at this shit depot, pick it up only!

Yelp
Fantastic customer service. I bought some stocking holders and thought I would use them this holiday. However, they weren't heavy enough to support the stockings that I had, so I decided to return them. I didn't think that I was going to return the stocking holders so I had thrown away the receipt. However, I read online that you can still bring in your items to return without a receipt. When I got to the store, a staff member confirmed this for me. So, I provided them with the credit card I used to make the purchase, and they were able to find me in their system, and I got money credited back to my account. Easy Peasy. I love when customer service is spot on like this.

Tony P.

Yelp
Worst Home Depot I've ever been too, will never recommend anybody to go there management sucks spend over 175k and they couldn't even accommodate me for the 18 month 0 financing. Form this point on will take My business to Lowe's. I called the credit card servicer witch is citi bank and they told me that a Home Depot manager can approve this since it was a honest mistake and didn't take the coupon that allow for that special financing at time of purchase. If I can give negative stars I would. I'm sure the manager there doesn't give a sh*t but I do. U just lost a loyal client for the past 15 years.

Ed M.

Yelp
I've gone to that Home Depot since it opened and have conservatively spent half a million dollars there over the last 20 years. The customer service is never really good. They never seem eager to help and are rarely friendly. I received a 15 percent off Home Depot coupon in the mail that could only be used in the store. I needed to buy a $2600 security door. The maximum off for the coupon is $200, so I would have saved $200 on the door. The gentleman in the door department tried to process the order but was having difficulties so he walked me over to the Customer Service department. The two ladies that were there were unable to help so I asked if they could get a manager to help. The manager came over whose name was Ramon and from the second he opened his mouth he was condescending and disrespectful. I showed Ramon the coupon and explained the situation and he said the coupon wasn't valid. Ramon then said that I was trying to "pull something" he actually said that several times insinuating that I was trying to scam the store. I walked out. I will take my business to Lowe's in the future. I don't recommend you going to that store that Home Depot unless you enjoy being treated with disrespect and enjoy being insulted.

Yelp
It was clean inside and I was in and out in a letter of minutes. New self scanners had a hand held scanner that made things easy to scan. Parking spaces are right and lot of work trucks so be careful how and where in the lot you park unless you want dings on you car. Some sketchy people in parking lot begging for cash, one guy had bloody bandages on his head. Security passed him several times in golf cart and said nothing. But at least they have someone patrolling. Also they have the usual Home Depot hot dog stand and ALSO a taco lady at the entrance to parking lot. Looked tasty
google avatar

Fred O.

Yelp
This is not the first time I called to inquire, then they put me on hold for a very long time, then hung up. After calling them a few times, holding and hanging up, I finally got through to someone. Now they put me on hold. I am waiting again.

Yelp
This Home Depot can get crowded. I find that there are too many open products here. I've purchased things with missing parts. The location is very convenient being just right off the 5 and 110.

Yelp
Terrible service.. too little cashiers and they are rude after making you wait to use self checkout. So many staff standing around while other departments are understaffed. This one needs serious management help

Yelp
Now, I go to Home Depot to Alhambra. The reason: Great outstanding customer service! Read why... Cypress Park Home depot: a big fat F for customer service! ex: i wanted to return several packets of seeds that did not take well. Cypress Park: They just refused to take them back, even supervisor started arguing with me! What? they were not nice, not polite, and not professional. Not easy going, problems, not a good staff. lack manners. I used to go there all the time. but since management changed, about 3 years ago, no more; they're failing big time. Plus quality of product are much lower than the Alhambra Store. Why? I guess they don't care! Result: bad experience shopping there. Rating: a 1 star? no deserved; a solid F, No recommendation, No referrals. Alhambra: They took all of the packets back, returned them as damaged plants, and gave me a refund no questions asked. They were very nice, polite, and professional. It is an easy going, no problem, smooth store. Staff is caring, always trying to help the best they can, and it is always a great experience to go shopping there! Rating: a solid 5 Stars, a solid A+, and a strong recommendation.

Yelp
the staff at this location are completely useless. getting some help from this lazy workers is impossible. they all say its not there department and they need to call someone else. so why not stay where you have product knowledge, and where it actually is your department.!!? if the supervisor run the store like idiots what can you expect from its staff. NOTHING!

Yelp
BEWARE OF RENTING EQUIPMENT FROM THIS LOCATION!! The employee (who I was renting the equipment from) asked for my debit card and ID and returned it when the transaction was completed. When I got to the parking lot, I received a text alert from my bank, asking me to verify suspicious recent activity. When I checked my account, I saw that my card had fraudulent charges amounting to almost $1,000 from a Motorola device through Google Pay transactions. Motorola is the same brand phone I saw the employee who rented me the equipment using and is also the same brand used by all of the Home Depot employees at this location. The charges on my statement appeared directly after the Home Depot rental charge. The charges were used to purchase crypto-currency. I emailed the store manager, Robert Marquez, asking if he can check to see if the motorola phone number of the employee, matches the same number my bank tracked the charges to. He told me to contact the loss prevention manager, Angel Solorzano. I emailed Mr. Solorzano and never received a response.

Yelp
nothing's quite like this home depot!!! I'm standing less than 25 feet from 6 employees waiting for anyone and I mean anyone to answer one simple question and they are too busy looking at one guys phone , laughing and having a good time. keep in mind that a young lady already announced over the PA that a customer needs help on aisle 39. Are you f'n kidding me. This is why I try to drive an extra 10 miles to go to lowes in Burbank. Horrible Horrible Horrible customer service.

Yelp
I am a general contractor let me start by saying that, so by that I buy thousands of dollars a year in materials when I comes to buying and returning anything at this Home Depot you will get screwed over. They charge you items that are not in your cart or if you are taking a certain amount they will charge you for more things than what you have in your cart. When it comes time to return its even worse, they will price down stuff you bought at full price and only return you part of it and tell you that they can't do anything about it and give you whatever reason as of why. I would give negative stars if possible, customer service is also the worst. From now on I am staying away from this trash Home Depot. For the best service go to Monterey Park.

Yelp
5 Stars for Richard and Letitia! They were so kind and helpful. It seems like Home Depot may have short-staffed the night my husband and I stopped by to get a few railroad ties, but those two gave us great service despite the chaos. They should get a raise!

Yelp
Beware of Home Depot during Covid-19. Yesterday, May 15 was a MESS! I had an online order for an installation in our kitchen that never arrived - no phone calls - nothing. After three 40+ minute phone calls that were automatically hung up prior to talking to anyone, I finally got through to the store and they said I had to go into a store for a store credit as they cancelled my order by mistake. Wanting to reorder the item at the original price and arrange installation, I went in and waited over an hour only to be told that I had to go to a different Home Depot store as the online order originally went through the Alhambra store not the one at 2055 Figueroa St. I was disappointed, not only did I never receive my item, Home Depot cancelled my item by mistake. I asked to talk to the manager at the 20255 Figueroa Street, Los Angeles - Jessica Asm. She was not helpful, terse, had an attitude, and was without an apology. That Home Depot made me wait and be in public needlessly is bad enough. It now wants me to go again if I am to get a refund or reorder. This is beyond terrible! I realize COVID-19 is a mess. Still, this is unacceptable. Home Depot is holding my money hostage. No refund is available without me going in to a different store. There was no good faith attempt to fix the problem. I suggest minimizing any exposure to Home Depot for the foreseeable future during the pandemic.

Yelp
Came in looking for a drill... Rosie from that department helped me out for a while looking for the best drill at the best price. Thank you, I appreciate your time!
