Ordered a bunch of flooring worked Andrea and Matt. Both were extremely helpful and prompt getting everything loaded up on my trailer. Couldn’t be more grateful. Give them employees of the month!!!

Arianna was very helpful. Champaign went above and beyond by getting a cart for me to take my stuff to my car when she realized I didn't have a cart. That was unexpected. The knife set is pretty cheap.

Drove down from Plain City to pick up clearanced polymeric sand of which it said online there were 32 in stock. There were none at the store and the assistant manager was rude and unwilling to help out with the situation. She said she could order some for me but only at the regular price.

Very helpful staff in the lumber area! They worked with me to get exactly what I needed for my job. I was in store 7/14/25 at 4PM

Craig the Employee was very rude to my older friend that was looking for a simple product. He was very dismissive and walked away from him mid sentence.

I don’t think I’ve ever been to a store where people wanted to sell things less than here. Apparently this is just a place for a place to come hang out. No one, especially customer service, knows anything.

Never can get help in store. The employees can't find items for you. An employee over charged us and when the mistake was caught there was no manager available to help. Then one employee was high on weed badly. I'm going to another home depot from now on for sure.

Yelp
Both products had their serious issues. CLICK ON EACH PIC TO SEE ISSUES Went to check out. For the 80% times, scanner wouldn't scan my military code. Sick and tired of self check out that requires numerous employees to finish. Why does card reader say processing? Doesn't homedepot know we keep our eyes on this till it says "Remove card?" Yet it won't stop processing till you go back to the primary screen and select ok (as if I will have a second thought in not purchasing). CUT THIS SILLY STEP OUT!!!!!!!

Yelp
My advice is to pay more for your appliances if you have to and avoid Home Depot. I had three major appliances delivered in the past couple of moths and paid extra for installation (not removal.) The first time it was a high end stove. They did not plug it in and connect OR level it. Ok, well I did it myself and thought that it was probably just a fluke that I got lazy installers. Of course they did not refund the installation fee. Then today, my washer and dryer came and again there was an excuse as to why they could not install them (they will find a way to avoid service.) So Home Depot has 100% shoddy service verified 2 for 2 deliveries. Here is the worst part- I cleared the way to bring the appliances into a dedicated laundry room and there was absolutely nothing in that room. Except on a deep windowsill was a small ceramic pot that my mother made for me 50 years ago. They had not even moved anything in yet when somehow they were moving around, knocked it off and broke it. Now this was on a different wall from the washer hose and dryer vent. This little item sat on that sill, protected by its deep position, for the past 30 years through numerous children, dogs, visitors. They did not seem particularly upset, dropped the appliances in the middle of the room, (did manage to put hoses on but hot and cold are mixed up,)said the dryer hose was too rigid and wouldn't work (although that is what was on my old set) and left. I sold my old set and those guys came and moved them out flawlessly, yet they were not professional appliance movers. So now I have to hook it up myself, which luckily I can manage. Home Depot owes me some refund for set up but I will never see it of course. And compensation for the little broken vase? Well to me it was priceless. I do not have much that is from my mother because she did not have much. These guys should have known to examine the room and remove ANYTHING they deemed an obstacle to their installation. They should be trained and proficient. I will be getting a new refrigerator next and you can be tit will be LOWES or Best Buy all the way. I am so disgusted but mostly very sad.

Yelp
You know, if a customer has over 300 lbs. Of tile in the cart with the barcode in one direction for easy scanning, you might just scan it rather than the 61 year old guy pulling each carton out and running it over the self checkout and placing it back into the cart....AND NOT CONTINUE TO JABBER WITH THE FELLOW EMPLOYEE!!!

Yelp
Visited here because my mother recently moved and wants to change blinds in the whole house. The employee that was assisting her was so very helpful. She needed guidance on what to buy and helped her with her options and even how she could order other options not available in store. While in the middle of helping her one of the managers rudely interrupts and tells him he has other customers. She could've helped or even told the other two associates just standing there talking to help out. Never had this issue at Lowe's, will just spend money with them. Only reason for 3 stars is because the original store associate was so helpful.

Yelp
Had an issue with missing parts for a fan and got turned away by numerous customer service representatives. As we were leaving a gentleman named Christopher asked if he could help us and fixed the issue immediately! Thank you Christopher, you were very helpful and kind!!

Yelp
I love my Springfield Home Depot. Always helpful and has what I need! I feel like it has the feel of a home town hardware store but the products of a larger chain. If it's not in stock, I can get it quickly. Thank you!

Yelp
Bought a high end GE refrigerator from Home Depot. It does not cool. Took two trips already and I have to go back again to get it set up for refund (hopefully). Home Depot explained how it is not their fault of course

Yelp
We bought a new dishwasher and paid for installation and when the company came to install they took a look at our floor and said nope can't do it your floor is elevated and it will be to much of a pain to try and get it in and out... then wanted us to sign a paper saying there was nothing wrong with the dishwasher that was still in the box ( that we couldn't open because we had to return it if we couldn't get anyone to install the new one) when we wouldn't sign we were treated like we were in the wrong. If these are the people Home Depot hires to represent their store than they need help. We will take our business to Lowes from now on.

Yelp
Bought a washer/dryer for about $1600 total. They give us a delivery date and 4 hour window. Day before delivery date I get an automated call confirming the window from 12pm-4pm. The next day arrives and NOTHING. About 430pm I call the store and a guy tells me he can see us on the list and we are next after the 330pm delivery, so we'll get a call soon. 530pm rolls around and NOTHING. So I call back and I am told, actually our window is 4pm to 8pm. This is after being home since 12 noon. I ask why I was told we were next on the list after the 330pm delivery. He says the delivery company has a "glitch" and has been giving out the wrong times in their automated call. The whole attitude was like "we could not care less". He said if we cancel for that day, it will be Nov 16 before they come back. I told him to cancel it and I am just getting a refund. They are too poorly run to deliver the product after someone bought it so I'll just got to Sears or somewhere else. They can't even try to get it to you quickly after they screw up and have a "glitch" ...what a crappy place.
