12 Essential Brunch Spots in Franklin | Eater Nashville

"The Honeysuckle, located near the Cool Springs Galleria, packs a Southern wallop when it comes to its weekend brunch. On any given Saturday or Sunday, couples and families can be found tucking into their bacon-topped breakfast macaroni and cheese or the Benedict Oscar topped with sweet chunks of crab meat. Solo diners will feel right at home at the bar — as oysters and bellinis here make for excellent dining companions." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

The fried green tomatoes were absolutely delicious, I really enjoyed the deviled egg flight, and the duck fat fries were great. The chicken fried chicken was good but needed some salt / additional seasoning. We did order 9 of these at once so, I understand that could impact this. Overall great experience would go again

The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere and a very pleasant ambiance. It was surprisingly quiet, which we really appreciated. The food was outstanding – both the salmon and the steak were cooked exactly as we requested. We particularly enjoyed the charcuterie board. Our server was new to the job and seemed a bit nervous at first, but she quickly relaxed and became more comfortable as she got to know our party. I'll check Brunch out real soon!!!

Alas Valentine’s Day dinner with no rez? We took a chance on Honeysuckle and were not disappointed! We had fresh oysters (yum), then both had seared ahi, one w asparagus the other the strawberry salad. Delicious. Our service was superb and lots of attention to details and satisfaction.

✨ A Culinary Delight at The Honeysuckle in Franklin, TN! ✨ Our visit to The Honeysuckle was nothing short of spectacular. We indulged in a delightful four-course meal, each course surpassing the last in flavor and presentation. We began our evening with their deviled eggs, which featured four unique toppings, including a luxurious touch of caviar—an amazing start to our culinary journey. The charcuterie board was a feast for the senses, brimming with perfectly seasoned and cooked meats and an array of unique cheeses that left us wanting more. The highlight of our meal was the halibut with risotto, which was savory and bursting with flavor—a true testament to the chef's skill. The ambiance at The Honeysuckle was relaxing and full of character, making it the ideal setting for a memorable night out. The service was impeccable, with every staff member ensuring our experience was nothing short of excellent. We would be remiss not to mention their extensive selection of whiskey, bourbon, wine, and elixirs, offering something for every palate. If you're looking for the perfect restaurant for a night out, look no further than The Honeysuckle. You will not be disappointed! And for an extra touch of personalized service, be sure to ask for Chris! Cheers to a fantastic dining experience! 🥂

Google
The food was great with good prices. The decor/ambiance was extremely nice with a great playlist of music. Our server was off a bit and could not answer any pretty simple questions about the menu. All in all we really liked the restaurant and will be back with our daughters.

Went here on vacation & for our anniversary, and it was excellent! The food was so fresh & delicious. The service was very friendly & social. Definitely recommend trying the Waygu Beef Salt Stone appetizer & the Treasured Mistress cocktail. They are favorites! Also, your check comes in a Hardy Boys book that you can sign. It's adorable!

Google
The Honeysuckle in Cool Springs is a hidden gem that truly deserves more attention. I had the special, halibut over risotto, and it was simply amazing. Typically, risotto can be a bit too rich, overshadowing the delicate flavors of the fish, but not here. The balance was perfect, allowing the halibut to shine as the star of the dish. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff was exceptional, making the whole experience even better. If you're a fan of J. Alexander's across the street but can't stand the crowds, The Honeysuckle is where you need to be. The food, atmosphere, and staff here are on another level. The pricing is similar, but the overall experience is far superior.

Google
The wife and I decided on the Honeysuckle for one of our 10 year wedding anniversary date nights, and it did not disappoint. We shared Fried Green Tomatoes and a charcuterie board. My wife had a selection of oysters and I had a the shrimp and grits. The wedge salad was also perfect. As good as the food was, the star of the evening was our server, Autumn. She made fantastic recommendations and made us feel like we were the most important table in the restaurant. She even moved us to a bigger table so we had room for all our share plates.

Yelp
Food was fantastic and while it was around $60 for the ribeye, it was as good as I've had in quite some time. Well worth it. Nice environment, went on a Wednesday with no wait. Service was okay, not great, but may have been related to the day of the week and lighter crowd.

Yelp
This place is beautiful! I went for a Holiday bookclub meeting and it was the perfect ambiance and loved (the unexpected) check being presented in a book! And the ladder is an old library ladder! The service was great! And the food was all delicious!

Yelp
Loved the ambiance of this restaurant, very nice interior and wonderful wait staff. Also very much enjoyed the food and drinks, they had a decent happy hour selection and vegetarian options as well. We came in a group of 6 and service was quick and friendly!

Yelp
My hubby and I went out for our anniversary weekend, and ended up at The Honeysuckle by accident. It turned out fabulous!! We began with the charcuterie board, and then both of us got steaks. Mine was so tender I could almost cut it with a fork, and my husband's was done on the salt block. He loved it! Erica was a top-notch server. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Stay away! It's oddly named the honeysuckle and wants to be a steakhouse. This place is clearly on its way out. The bar is well understocked with only half of the bottles it could have and only a quarter of the beers on tap for available tap handles. They have a reservation cancellation fee which would make sense if it was super busy, but it was not. They were out of multiple items on the menu. Drinks were not free refills on soda and cost $5. The chicken on the Caesar salad was not fully cooked even though it was a thinly sliced breast and cost $27. The dark lighting made it look ok until it was bitten into unfortunately. The 6oz filet was only 4oz of meat and had zero seasoning, glad I got the mushroom sauce that had no mushrooms to give it some flavor, though it was perfectly cooked to temperature. The Mac and cheese was surprisingly very good even though my expectations were low at this point..

Yelp
The service is top notch!!! The ambiance makes for a good date night or girls' therapy. The whiskey selection didn't miss either. And the Duck Fat Fries, blue cheese dressing, and burger are where it's at for me (I was mainly here for drinks and apps). Will have to return.

Yelp
Had fish and chips. Tartar sauce need to be replaced.. The biscuit appetizers were good. Food expensive. I won't be back

Yelp
Really didn't want to write this review because it really was THAT bad. First of all, the host was non-existent when we walked in. On top of that, he handed us the wrong menu. We didn't realize that until we went to order, and the waiter said we didn't have the right menu. The food was hit or miss but moreso miss. Appetizers were fine, but when it came to entrées, neither had seasoning. It was just lacking salt and pepper. Had the hot chicken sandwich and a seafood pasta dish that were both bland. As far as ambiance, it was dark on one side and light on the other. And back to the host, he had the nerve to ask us if we had a reservation and the place was empty. I do want to leave it on a good note about the server Bob. He was very attentive, knowledgeable, and earned his tip.

Yelp
Let me start by saying it takes a really really good or bad experience for me to write a review. The Honeysuckle was such a poor experience, that here we are. The host told us there were no tables available, as we didn't have a reservation. Sure! No problem. We'll sit a high top. We sat for over an hour, in an almost empty restaurant, starting at five empty tables. They stayed empty the duration of our meal. Our table was so small, that I didn't have enough room for my plate so they sat it at the bar. The food - awful. They brought me out a potato with meat, although i am a vegetarian and asked for it to be left off. My fiancé got a medium rare steak - safe to say it came out well done. My mother in law ordered a glass of wine that didn't come until almost her meal was complete after i asked. Oh - i should mention that's when the potato with no meat came out as well. Overall, a frustrating experience and we won't be back. The prices for the food are too high to equate to poor customer service, and trash food. UPDATE: We tried to grab the manager to give him the feedback on our meal/the table issue. He was.... Short tempered and just said he would be back. He was clearly fed up with something. He removed our apps and the steak which was nice and gave us a quick apology. It was strange but i guess they did the right thing. Still will not be back. As i post 1/5 of the open tables are still empty.

Yelp
I have been to Honeysuckle for lunch and dinner and it's always great. I recently did Sunday brunch with my girls at Honeysuckle and it was phenomenal. No wait. Yummy brunch and drinks. Fantastic service. If you're waiting in line for Sunday brunch elsewhere...you are missing out on a gem. The entire staff is so friendly and gracious! Great food! Don't miss out!

Yelp
It was my first time trying this place and stepping in it's nice , it wasn't busy we were seated quick and our server was quick to take our drink order my friend ordered a mixed drink and I got an iced tea . We ordered the crab cake as the appetizer for the portion I don't think it was worth the 30$ but it was good . I ordered some brunch the steak and eggs with potato's and my friend got the oyster po boy sandwich. Our food came out and still no mixed drink I'm tasting my food the steak is cooked to perfection and tender but my potato's were mushy and cold also it was supposed to come with a chimichury sauce but it didn't and over all presentation was not there on the plate . I finally have to ask the server if we can get the mixed drink and she did say she forgot but got it for us . my friends French fries were soggy . This place was ok for me just won't ever be back

Yelp
The atmosphere is friendly and the ambience is great. My colleagues and I came here for dinner and we were seated immediately. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. I'm not that impressed with the food, which is why I gave it a low rating. No season and I have no idea collard greens was made in a skillet and crunchy. Not a fan of the dish. I will come back and perhaps try something different.

Yelp
One of the best services we've had in Franklin. We were celebrating my son's bday and when we arrived they had a happy birthday sign on the table that brought smile to my son's face. The service from start to finish was impeccable. They even gave is free dessert and a birthday card that all the employees signed for my son. He was very very happy. You don't see this very often these days anymore. The food was pretty good too. We will be taking friends here and would not hesitate celebrating a special occasion here in the future.

Yelp
I usually only write reviews when my experiences with a business are a 5 or a 1. This restaurant has received a 1! A friend and I went to The Honeysuckle at 4:00 on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. When we walked in, there was no one in sight. And, no patrons were in the restaurant. We waited a bit, then my friend went to find someone and we got seated. We were given a food and a drink menu. We knew it was happy hour, because the sign right after we walked in said it was from 3-6, but our waitress did not inform us of that. My friend ordered a "Salty Dog" and told the waitress specifically what she wanted in it that would probably be extra and perhaps less common - a splash of Cranberry juice and an orange slice. When the drink came, it had the orange slice, but the color of the drink did not look like it had any cranberry juice in it at all. It also did NOT have any salt around the rim of the glass. We looked for the waitress and did not see her. My friend went to the bar (which was right across from our table) and talked with the bartender who acted like he could have cared less that the drink was not made correctly. No salt on the rim, no matter what is in the glass, is probably not a "salty" anything! The waitress thought the bartender only put about a tablespoon of cranberry juice in the glass (which I guess could be a relative term when you ask for a splash), and thought the salt was IN the drink! My friend informed the waitress that a drink like the "Salty Dog" without the salt around the rim, would be a "Greyhound." Now, no one expects every bartender to know every drink, but he could have asked or looked it up. He did neither. At some point after the drink issue was taken care of, my friend asked our waitress if they had some appetizers available during Happy Hour. She was surprised we did not have a menu for those and went and got that for us. We skipped the appetizers and both ordered the meatloaf for dinner, which I had had three times before about 2 years or so ago and 1 year before that. It was awesome both times, the service was great and were very enjoyable experiences at this restaurant. This time, the meatloaf and what was on the plate with it, was lukewarm at best, which is not something you would want. I got a coke and the meatloaf and my bill was $32.00 without the tip. I thought the price for this meal was very high, considering what I ordered. I am not sure what the price was the other times I went to this restaurant, but in all honesty, one is not as concerned about that, if your experience is very good and the food is also good. Our experience here was NOT good no matter what you evaluated. Our waitress was pleasant, but her service was not what it should have been. Her shift ended shortly before we left, so she introduced us to our new waitress before she left. However, she, nor the new waitress, ever asked us if we wanted anything else - dessert, coffee, etc. We had contemplated at least one dessert, but when the bills came without asking us if we wanted anything else, we decided "no". The new waitress asked us if we wanted boxes for our leftover food. We indicated we did. She brought us the boxes, our bills and we cashed out. I highly doubt whether I will be back again. A very unpleasant experience all the way around.

Yelp
I wish I took pictures but the food was so amazing I forgot! We had a group of 8 of us celebrating a high school graduation. Half the group was from out of town and half from Franklin. None of us had been to The Honeysuckle but OpenTable recommended it so we took a chance and WOW! We started with the Duck Fat Fries and the Southern Charcuterie Board. I think I want to go back just for the small plates one of these days. So amazing! Everyone at our table loved their dinner. I had the Bourbon Maple Salmon - perfection. Our table also had Duck, Brussels & Grits, Wagu, Filet Mignon, Chicken...and others. I want to give a huge shout out to our waitstaff, they made us feel like we were home from the moment we walked in. They learned it was a high school graduation and not only brought out some ice-cream for her but a signed congratulations card! And Bob the bar tender, he made some special virgin drinks for the graduate. We wrapped it up with sharing all 3 desserts. Practically licked the bowls but I would say our favorite dessert was the Honeysuckle Pie. I will for sure return to Honeysuckle next time I visit Franklin!

Yelp
Ordered my meal to-go but it was delicious! I got the Caesar salad, Mac and cheese (came with bacon on it), a crab cake and the honeysuckle pie... everything was great! The salad is full leaves though - I prefer it chopped but had good flavor. The crab cake was full of crab, little filling which is my favorite way to have it! Mac and cheese was super gooey and loved that it had bacon pieces on top, didn't realize that when I ordered it but pleasantly surprised. And the pie... oh my goodness... yum! Peanut butter pie is my favorite and this one did not disappoint!

Mom S.

Yelp
Pro: Beautifully decorated Fresh cucumber , pineapple melon juice Tasty broccoli cheese soup Cons: Food was mediocre and bland. Not a good mix and oysters not fresh. *Please fix your veggie plate it's very insulting to serve it the way you did . As if vegetarians have no palate. Separating veggies on a plate with no seasoning. Over priced

Melissa J.

Yelp
Service and food quality were POOR! Party of 10 and it was a disaster and we knew it 10 minutes into the meal and should have left! Food was cold and 2 of the party had to send food back. Drinks took 30 minutes to get. After paying our bill , we asked to speak to a manger, who was just not understanding nor professional. She did she care the food was bad and service was worse, and actually after us telling her the issues we had, she shrugged and said, Merry Christmas! Very disappointing for the amount of money we spent there! That was my last time to eat there!

Teresa A.

Yelp
Quality food, fresh and friendly service! They always have new specials each week and the ambiance is so trendy!

Yelp
This was such a unique restaurant. I loved how they put your check in an actual book that you can then sign. We had the fried green tomatoes and duck fries fm start with, delicious! The filet I ordered was cooked perfectly as well. The staff was great and did not rush us to leave. In fact we were the last table there. Highly recommend.

Christopher F.

Yelp
Visiting from Virginia. The Restaurant is beautiful. Rebecca and Kat were great waitresses. My deviled eggs (presentation was as great as the eggs), and greens salad with Blackened tuna were great. Reading some reviews it's very apparent that the reviews apps have given people the ability to project a bit on places that are doing great, but not perfect, which is impossible. 'I don't eat grits but the ones here are 'gritty.' haha. Some of these should read: Fill in a reason........'We had to wait, so we took it personal and found something wrong with everything.' lol

Lauren K.

Yelp
Really disappointed with this place. The food was sub par- $17 for a Caesar salad that wasn't even big and an extra $7 for chicken at lunch time- these prices are absurd... the French onion soup was the worst soup I've ever had- way too much of the wrong spice. The cauliflower appetizer was somehow both undercooked, dry, and burned all at the same time. We rarely send food back but the soup and the cauliflower both were returned.
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our food but felt that it was a little over priced. We enjoyed the service and did not feel rushed which I really enjoyed! The wine was good and want to come back for some appetizers!

Jeremy B.

Yelp
I had an absolutely awful experience, The only good thing about going there was the server, she was super attentive and very sweet and compassionate!! My issue is, THE MANAGER IN THE PINK SHIRT. He was the most condescending, disrespectful unprofessional manager I've seen! He was extremely rude! I don't know how someone like that can land in management! And the steak was way overcooked, I had to return the steak TWICE, I will not be coming back because of that manager specifically and the steak. The fact someone like that is in the customer service business is BEYOND ME.

Yelp
Update: The event coordinator did contact me and they refunded my card the $670 since they broke the contract by refusing to serve the amount of meals promised in our contract. The manager of course never reached out and I am not surprised but her lack of professionalism and knowledge as a manager is the determining factor that we will not host another party at the Honeysuckle. Original Post Yesterday was the third time that our company has rented space a for a private event. The event is to celebrate our clients birthdays that fall in that quarter; generally 30 - 50 guests which 98% have never been to The Honeysuckle. Although the last two times (before yesterday) we had some minor complaints, we were generally satisfied. Beautiful space and great servers. I will start out with saying that the intent is to host this event every quarter and to have it in the same restaurant so we can build a relationship with that business. The event coordinator has desire for this and we haven't even ever had a manager on duty ever come to just say "Hey, thanks for spending a couple grand with us". Again, annoying but things we have ignored. Yesterday, really felt like the nail in the coffin. We had a few clients cancel so we had about 30 guests. The minimum spend is $1500 for the party, I knew this. Before dessert came out, I asked the server since I knew we were WAY under that minimum, if we can just get meals packaged up to go and and we will give them to clients, we did this the last lunch and clients LOVED it. I was told there was a new general manager and she doesn't like to do that, the server did go check with the manager and came back very apologetic but the manager said no. The manager didn't bother to come talk to me herself and the restaurant was dead, they were not busy. So when I was given the bill, the unmet minimum was $670!!! I was trying to find a way to get something tangible for that money we were spending, I wasn't asking for a refund or making a stink, I just wanted to pay for food to get us to that minimum and give it to our clients. Most of our clients are retirees and I thought that this would really be a treat. I feel we were taken advantage of, they made no effort to let us pay for things to get to that minimum, they just took the money for nothing. Who gets that $670? I would really think twice about using them for a private party. They also only allow you one choice of dressing for salads which I still don't understand. They lost a partnership yesterday.

Alyssa S.

Yelp
The Honeysuckle is a beautiful yet cozy southern restaurant in Franklin. I know they have made a lot of positive changes in their kitchen and if you've tried it before, you need to try it again. The service was incredible (ask for Layah) Everything I've tried recently especially the waygu beef burgers and the fried green tomatoes, wow! If you're looking for great service, delicious food for the price and a clean/cozy ambiance, this is your place.

Yelp
I came here for a friend's birthday dinner so it was a selected menu. Not sure how much of that is on their regular menu. The service was great, the appetizer/shareables were all on the table when we arrived. They even comped all the desserts we got as a treat for the birthday girl. Loved the decor, the lighting was nice and soft which made the restaurant feel really cozy yet upscale. The mule I got was really good, nice and sweet how I like it. Can't remember the exact name of the mule. Hot Nashville Chicken Bites: 4.2/5. Really good. Could be a bit spicier. The sauce is a little strange to me but not bad. Also has a hit of a kick. It's on the happy hour/bar bites menu. Bruschetta: 5/5. No notes. Great balance of flavor. The feta on top was soft and creamy which was delicious. Filet Mignon: 4/5. The steak itself was really tasty. Cooked to perfection. The potato mash was good but as you can see, I only got like 4 asparagus stalks which was interesting. The chimichurri on the side was great! My first time having chimichurri and I really liked it. An unusual pairing for steak imo but I wasn't mad at it. Blueberry cobbler: 2.5/5. This was like 70% blueberry, 30% cobbler, and that's being generous. The flavor was ok but it wasn't very sweet. The ice cream helped but couldn't make up for the lack of topping. Also, it was definitely a crumble and not a cobbler. Wouldn't get this again. I would definitely come back here and try other menu items! I'd come back just for those Nashville hot chicken bites haha

Yelp
We had a wonderful time at The Honeysuckle last night. The food is always fun and we like the convivial but relatively quiet atmosphere. Last night was especially enjoyable because of Ashley. She was incredibly thoughtful, efficient, and extremely pleasant service. Really impressive skills. I haven't experienced such perfection of service in a long time. It really enhanced our whole experience. During the week they have a great happy hour, too, but you must sit in the bar area, I believe. Anyway, great place!

Yelp
I stopped by this restaurant on my way out of Franklin, and it was incredible. Both the hostess and our waiter were so helpful and kind (even when we tried to walk in the wrong front door hahaha). We both got the Paloma and it was so refreshing. For our meal, we both got the French dip sandwich with the honey sriracha artichoke brussel sprouts as the side. It was outstanding! The sandwich itself was so amazing, the meat was very tender and the bread was 10/10. The brussel sprouts were some of the best I've ever had (and I'm a brussel sprout snob)
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
My wife and I was there 2/17/24 for our anniversary we had a 17oz 28day aged Wagyu Ribeye for the first time and was very disappointed. The flavor was good but the steak itself was tough. We had it cooked medium and that was perfect. The Brussels and crushed potatoes was very good. The Steak was $5 an ounce so with that being said don't know if I would get that particular one again

Y L.

Yelp
We enjoyed their special, the grouper, as well as the collard greens, filet mignon, and blueberry cobbler on their regular menu. Service was stellar!

Yelp
Ate here on a Saturday evening and walked right on. Nice atmosphere and had a fireplace in one room. Others have mentioned that they thought the restaurant was cold and my thought it was cold inside. Cosmo waited on us and was super pleasant and informative. I ordered the steak fries cooked medium. My son ordered the fried half chicken. My meal came out just as ordered. I did have to ask for the white sauce. My son's chicken was good but the cauliflower maah it was served on was cold. Overall ok experience

Jackie C.

Yelp
Overall we really enjoyed our dining experience at HoneySuckle. The atmosphere is beautiful and the food had a local flair that was delicious. Highly recommend the fried oysters and any of the grits. Only complaint was given we had a larger party some of our food wasn't very hot so a timing issue but overall it was quite tasty. Also get the honeysuckle pie!

Kevin K.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst dining experience we've had in 20 years. Service was terrible and food was cold by the time it got to the table. It was very disappointing.

Yelp
Amazing food! I was here for a wedding dinner and the guest was so nice and the vibes and the food were the best I got the chicken tenders from the kids menu (wasn't that hungry) but it was really good and the desert I had the pie and i finished it within seconds

Yelp
I love this place! The food, the atmosphere, and the Bellinis! Brunch here is outstanding!

Yelp
We had Mother's Day brunch at The Honeysuckle, the food was ok, service spotty, an ok experience. What was bad was for the price ($49 per person buffet brunch) the plates they put out were salad plates, discouraging taking much food so going back was frequent so long lines. The food was ok, poorly stocked, stand in line and a tray of moderately warm food had run out, not worth the price. The deserts were ok, except the macarons were bought at Costco, we saw them at Costco last week. Further, for $49 the price did not include iced tea or soft drinks - really they added for non-alcoholic beverages! It seems the restaurant was gouging the patrons by cutting all the corners they could, this put a damper on Mother's Day, shame on them. They got our money today, it will be a long time for us to return if this is how they want to run their restaurant.

Yelp
A few months ago, my wife went here for lunch with a friend and loved it. Unfortunately we didn't time it correctly and showed up too late for lunch. My wife ordered the wagyu burger ($19) and I ordered the 1/2 roasted chicken ($30). The highlight of my plate was the bread pudding and chicken gravy the chicken was laid on...Very tasty. Chicken was good, but a little on the dry side. With the wagyu burger I assumed that the beef patty would be exceptionally flavorful and juicy. But it tasted like most pub burgers. Good, but not $19 good. Would I come back for dinner? Probably not. My wife said the lunch chicken sandwich was outstanding so I would come back for that.

Yelp
I'm been several times and Honeysuckle never disappoints. But this is the first time, I've had brunch there. I ordered the chicken friend chicken, the presentation was not great so when I looked at it I thought the worst but after took one bite of the chicken it was seasoned to perfection the potatoes could of used a bit of flavor but overall is was very tasty... FYI- Good social distancing and COVID precautions/ safely guidelines well implemented.

Yelp
Tried this place out for brunch with some friends. I'll go ahead and tell you why this place gets a 4/5. I give it that because my food was just a little lacking in seasoning so it was a bit bland for me. I wanted a lighter dish so I got the veggie bowl. As you can see, the presentation is lovely! I chose it because I love beets!! I did like how light I felt afterwards. My friend got the burger and his fries looked nice and crispy (they were gone before I could get one). They give nice portions of food. I do recommend the fried green tomatoes, those were yummy! The restaurant was nice and clean as were the bathrooms. I would definitely come back and try their seafood or meat.

Yelp
Grabbed a quick reservation on open door last minute and it didn't disappoint! Note - the people in front of us didn't have a reservation (weekend) and had to be seated at the bar. Service was top notch! Had the fried green tomatoes for the appetizer and they were phenomenal. Had the fish special and it was okay, the mashed potatoes it was served on weren't great, hard and cold, but the Brussel sprouts were very good! I'd most definitely come back!

Yelp
So I feel super disappointed to leave this review, but it's only getting two stars because it's beautiful, and the service was great. Those were the only two redeeming qualities. For the food, it would get one star for me. It was quite expensive (which I was expecting and have no problem with fine dining) but the quality was so mediocre. The $55 14oz ribeye was fatty and just okay... I had the pan-seared "catch of the day" for $55 and it was the blandest, most over cooked, plainest dish. The sauce was yummy on top, but the fish itself was not. The Gouda grits were an absolute NO for us. We sent them back and asked not to be charged. They literally tasted like nothing. No salt, no cheese, nada. The only saving grace was the brussel sprouts, and even those were lacking in flavor. And the complimentary peanut butter birthday pie slice was good. But I spent $140 (including tip) to be so disappointed, and stop for waffles on the way home. Sad to say, I don't recommend this place, and don't think I'll be back.

Yelp
Due to short staff, the food was incorrect the service was completely slow. I ordered the shrimp and grits, my grits were clumpy like, the peppers were hard and not cooked correctly. My friend ordered an omelette, they asked for sausage instead of country ham, in the omelette there was a sausage patty and country ham. My friend asked for the sausage to be chopped but instead there was a whole sausage patty in the omelette. I've been here before and the food was amazing. Today was just not it.

Yelp
Had lunch with friends and we absolutely had the best service from Autumn and a great meal! Highly recommend this spot. The blueberry cobbler and banana pudding deserts were a great close. Excellent Bourbon lineup as well!

Yelp
In 2015 my husband and I had our wedding reception at Honey suckle. Had found memories here and loved the food. We loved the place. We've returned multiple times over the years and it has steadily declined. Which brings us to Today(the day before Mothers Day). What a disappointment of a lunch. We had reservations for 1:15 and arrived a little early. They were able to seat us quickly and that was nice. Unfortunately it's pretty much down hill from there. We came for Lunch but only provided a brunch Menu. We were told that the kitchen would not serve items off the lunch Menu during Lunch hour.(no where on their website does it state Saturday is a Brunch only menu) The brunch menu is limited and for someone that is Gluten free(not by choice) this was disappointing. We ordered the duck fat fries, crab cake(one 3 inch cake for $26), meatloaf, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, filet, and a salad. All of these items were not blow me away for what I just spent good. I don't know who approved the cauliflower mash to be on the menu but honestly was not edible. The waitress was doing her best and I acknowledge that but other than that it was disappointing all around. We won't be back and won't recommend anyone to come here

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great service and great friends. Unfortunately the food was not so great. We had steak, chicken, shrimp and pork dishes and the flavor was lacking. Nothing special at all and for $25-$40 per entree I would have expected better. The people were nice and the restaurant is tastefully decorated but the food needs some work before we will return.

Yelp
We celebrated a belated Valentine's dinner here as our first visit. The ambiance is relaxed and warm. I also appreciated the music was at just the right volume. We loved the deviled eggs. Wedge salad was good and fresh. Our main courses were good and heavily seasoned. We had the banana bread pudding dessert which was a bit odd as it had a tiny piece of dry banana bread and was one note of just sweetness. The staff was lovely, and we will likely be back to try their modern takes on Southern fare.

Yelp
we just had our granddaughter's 18th birthday party here tonight. We could not have made a better choice! A delectable menu cooked fabulously, was just the start. The service was spot on! They met our every need to help make the evening one we'll cherish forever!

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant. Friendly staff, but seemed to be understaffed at the time of my visit. They were working hard, though, so I applaud that. All of the food was plated nicely, but the quality disappointed this southern foodie. We started with the biscuit board, and I'm 90% sure those were processed frozen biscuits. Not a homemade biscuit like granny would make. So we tried again with the pork belly mac-n-cheese. The pasta was cooked well and coated with ooey gooey cheese - awesome. The pork belly, however was the worst pork belly I've ever had. Next, we tried the hot chicken sandwich. Y'all, I was disappointed. Not only was it not "hot" or crispy, but it was served at room temp and it was very dry. The bread & butter pickles, duck fat fries, and jicama slaw were all very nice, though. The French toast was also a nice dish.
