We eat at H&P all time and whenever we are walking QT the superpuppy she tries to pull us toward Hook & Plow with all her mighty little dog strength... they have a doggy menu for the patio and she loves the dog burger. Her people love the human menu just as much... they have some nice variety and flavors on the menu presenting something for everyone, all in a relaxed but nice environment where just about anyone will feel comfortable, welcomed, and have a great experience. Favorite items would be a long list but the steak sand is money, the scallops with the yellow sauce.. amazing! great burgers and we love their oysters.. we have to say best oysters in the village. Obviously you have a ton of options right on top of each other in the village but we tend to go to Hook & Plow over and over and it is one of our favorites due to the excellent service, great menu, and vibrant comfortable patio that is dog friendly. If you come here you will probably become a regular.. that's how they get ya. 5/5

Hook & Plow in Redondo Beach delivers a delightful dining experience with its farm-to-table philosophy and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Operated by twin sisters Lisa and Lauren Cassity, this family-run restaurant group has grown from its first Hermosa Beach location 10 years ago to four locations today. Their commitment to sourcing seafood, meats, and produce locally and organically is evident in the quality of the food, which is made from scratch and reflects the changing seasons. We visited on a vibrant Friday evening and were lucky to snag an outdoor table with heating, thanks to our wonderful server. She even brought our dog a grilled chicken treat, which was such a thoughtful touch! The menu, while concise, offers a well-curated selection of dishes. We started with the burrata salad, which featured fresh arugula and a hint of vinaigrette—a perfect balance of creaminess and zest. For our main, we had the short ribs, served with smooth mashed potatoes. The flavor was outstanding, though the short ribs could have been slightly more tender. The Redondo Riviera’s lively ambiance added to the experience, making it an enjoyable evening of good food and a great setting. Hook & Plow is a solid choice for casual fine dining with a local, seasonal twist. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu as the seasons change!

I've been here for brunch and $10 Thursday burgers. Never had a bad meal after three times. Their small plates are all tasty and the Redondo Beach location is nice this time of year with the open air windows and outside patio. Always friendly good service.

Hook and Plow on South Catalina is one of our favorite local spots in the Riviera Village. We are fans of their raw oysters- their mignonette is special. We also generally always get their clam chowder. We've tried just about everything on their menu which changes just a little every season and it's all pretty good. We really like their mimosa flight, too. That's only available at brunch. Note on the price per person - while we spend about $50pp, it's generally because we get the seafood platter (for 2 ppl) or tower (for 4 ppl), plus a mimosa or bottle of bubbly... Anyway, a meal here can be as cheap as $25pp.

Lunch special deals are great!! 2 for $15 or 3 for $20. I ordered Fish Tacos and Furikake Fries. My friend ordered Fish Tacos and Arugula Salad. Everything was delicious and very filling.

Google
Love everything. Relaxed environment for 4 of us to have dinner. The restaurant is pretty full for a Wed evening. We ordered seafood dishes and shared a salad. Everything terrific and delicious with fresh materials. The salad is the best thing exceeding our expectations. We will be back.

The breakfast burrito was amazing! Peach sriracha and crème fresh! (I had them bring half for later) One of the best I’ve ever had! My friend had the breakfast sandwich and loved it! Brittanie was our waitress and she was fun, friendly and efficient! Highly recommend.

Date night brought us to the Hook and Plow. We planned on dining in Manhattan Beach but I'm pleased that we decided to head to Redondo beach instead. Place is quite small indoors but they do have outside seating with plenty of room. Our dining experience here was great.... great staff, great food, overall was the perfect Saturday night for us. Only downfall.... Parking. We drove around a few times before finding a parking spot. We have decided that we are going to try every single eatery located at Riviera Village so I'm definitely looking forward to that!

Yelp
Service, great. Food, ok Overpriced and not enough food. They do have a great happy hour though.

Clarissa A.

Yelp
Really amazing spot in Redondo. Met up here with a group of friends for a dinner and did a variety of apps including their oysters (had this incredible mignonette with cilantro emulsion), calamari on special, ceviche, burrata salad and the star of the show their cheddar biscuits. I could eat a dozen of those! Killer dirty martinis too! I had their spicy marg and it was a bit too tart for my liking. Our server was incredible, she made us feel like family!

Jack J.

Yelp
Walked in on a warm Saturday evening at 6:30, most tables inside were empty and there were two tables open outside. Kind of strange for dinnertime on a Saturday but then again, the whole Riviera scene was similar. Maybe a sign of the economy. Food was average to slightly above average. One dinner was scallops over roasted veggies, the other was grilled chicken on a salad. Service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere is great for people watching. Very clean surroundings. Two entrees, two drinks (one each) and the tab was $92.00, ugh. Add in a $20.00 tip and you get the picture. But again, it seems to be the sign of the times.

Susan S.

Yelp
Always the best food and service. Sure hope they bring back the outdoor seating! I usually get the Breakfast Sandwich and thought I would try the Breakfast Burrito. So glad I did. It was the bomb!

Sylvia C.

Yelp
Omg, super amazing food and lovely to the eye! I could have eaten a dozen of those scallops, unfortunately the order only came with 3. The ahi sandwich was perfect, the ceviche soooo flavorful and the garlic furikake fries were on point. You simply must try this place on the blvd close to the esplanade. Parking is a bit challenging but it's worth it.

Tricia M.

Yelp
Fantastic food! We had a group of 9 people and booked a table on the patio. Everyone loved what they ordered! We started with calamari, furikake fries and battered avocado. Then I had the shrimp and grits, which was a perfect dish - I only wish I had the space to have eaten more. It really was rich, cheesy, creamy and good with jumbo shrimp and perfectly cooked sunny side eggs. Dessert was this yuzu cheesecake, which was not to tart or sweet. Just a perfect note to end on! My daughter had the apple cobbler and liked it so much she didn't want to share! Lol

Yelp
It was a beautiful 4th of July day and Hubbers and I didn't want to waste the day. So we woke up early-ish, stopped at the coffee shop for waker-uppers as well as pup cups for fur babies we were with, then took them to the dog park. While there, Hubbers and I discussed where to go for lunch. Dog friendly is a must since we had pups with us. Using the process of elimination, we thought this was the best place to go. We came through early so street parking wasn't a challenge. It was so early, in fact, that this place was r even open yet. So we took the time to explore its immediate surrounding areas: shops, more eateries, learning the beach is only a couple blocks away, etc. It wasn't very busy so we were seated immediately. The sun was blaring a bit much so we opted for shade (they have plenty of umbrellas, so all good!) Immediately, we knew exactly what to get the pup. We wanted to try so many things on the menu but we decided to get a couple of starters and go from there: ROASTED PEAR AND BURRATA: Our server (my memory sucks, but I think his name was Tyler?) suggested we split the plate (at no extra cost) as we might enjoy it more. He was right, it was easier. But I'll say this: I was addicted to this salad - I almost ordered another to take home! The blend of burrata, arugula and pecans with the truffle dressing were perfect. The cinnamon wasn't strong, but it added to the taste. SEAFOOD PLATTER (+ extra half dozen oysters): Everything was fresh! The oysters were shucked clean, the shrimps were bigger than what I'm used to (delish!), nice sauce on the Peruvian scallops, ceviche was seasoned well and came with guac a side of tortilla chips and the tuna poke (also with guac) was excellent. This platter sure got us off to a good start - and almost finish! CLAM CHOWDER: We were gonna Antonio this, but we were much too curious. And boy, were we glad we got it: it is one of the best clam chowders we've had. (Top two, for sure!) It was very tasty, and very hearty! There was a lot of depth and love made with this soup. Get this! TEMPURA FISH TACOS: We were kinda full at this point, but this we also had to try. Made to order, fish was battered thin. It honestly didn't need anything: the sauce was a good match with the fish. Me likey! We liked this place so much, we came back with two other peeps with us (before I got the chance to write a review!) We were served by Brittany who was also very friendly and welcoming, but not as efficient or attentive as Tyler. (We didn't get one of our orders - which happened to be my favorite part and burrata salad - and it was hard to flag her done when needed. I'm not faulting her for that, too, they did seem understaffed. FOOD: 5. There was nothing we didn't like! SERVICE: 4.5 (5 for Tyler, 4 for Brittaney.) VALUE: 4. More than fair. PARKING: Street only. Metered parking at $2/hr. OVERALL: 4.5. Excellent first (and second!) run. Although Hubbers and I talked about trying out other places around here, we'd always come back and recommend this place.

Zoe C.

Yelp
The place has a rustic feel to it. Met a friend here. The night we came here only two people were working on the floor. Service suffered. Skip the Cheddar and Scallion Biscuit for 7.00 dollars each they were burnt the taste was not good. When asked the server replied that's how they are supposed to be. Clam Chowder tastes as if it was made days prior. The burger was overcooked. Bad night won't be coming back

Jillian N.

Yelp
I'm very impressed by this restaurant! Slow and quiet for a Saturday morning, but wow did the food and service show up. Music was a nice touch, classics constantly played during our visit. Appreciated the chef making sides of fruit for us. Server said it was prepped fresh daily. Steak sandwich - absolutely amazing. Flavorful and savory. I'd come back just for this alone.

Rebecca S.

Yelp
Amazing happy hour, highly recommended! 1/2 off drafts and house wine and a few discounted cocktails plus an awesome happy hour menu to choose from! We stopped by one afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff is fun and kind and the patio and outside seating are so cute! It's a vibe! My favorite is the salmon poke! So tasty and fun, you don't miss tuna at all! The house fries are a must as well. Very unique flavoring and delicious, we got two orders. I imagine this spot is awesome any time but it has been one of my favorite happy hours so far! 3-6pm on weekdays!

Kelvin C.

Yelp
Fantastic Redondo Beach eatery. Everything was great, food, outdoor dining, dog friendly. We needed a dog friendly place for our doggie date. I was pleasantly surprised how wonderful the food turned out. The panko avocado was rich, crispy and came with a delicious dipping sauce. The beef dip sandwich was roll your eyes back, with the crispy bread, flavorful tender beef, incredible sauce and melty cheese was so frickin good! The pooches loved the meal just as much. They got a wagyu burger and bacon strips. Can't remember our servers name, but she absolutely adored dogs and she was the sweetest server of all time. This is such a fun spot, it's a must try.

Yelp
Hook & Plow in Redondo Beach offers a quintessential beach town experience with its diverse seating options, including patio, outdoor, and indoor areas. The ambiance is enhanced by a fantastic music selection that sets the perfect tone for a coastal dining experience. Our visit was made even more enjoyable by the attentive service of our waitress, Brittney, who ensured that our needs were met with a smile. Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays adds an extra layer of charm to the place, making it a great spot for a leisurely weekend meal. During our visit, we sampled the Fukaki French fries, Ahí tuna sandwich, and burger, all of which exceeded our expectations. Next time, we're eager to try the steak burger and seafood tower, as they come highly recommended. Overall, Hook & Plow offers a delightful combination of ambiance, service, and delicious food, making it a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a taste of the beachside lifestyle in Redondo Beach.

Delonna H.

Yelp
Our experience was great. While visiting friends in Torrance my friend recommended Hook n Plow. We went during the week, and got a seat by the street. We only wanted something small cuz we were waiting for our husbands to come back from metal detecting and gonna grab dinner somewhere. We ordered the steak tacos & Furikake (?) fries...... DELISH !!! I had the coffee martini, LOVED it. I've had espresso martinis, but this coffee martini, soooo much better. It got a bit cooler so we moved up by the fire. Our husbands joined us and we ordered more tacos and fries. They loved it as much as we did , especially since they were cold, and we had a spot by the fire ! Plan on going back soon !

Ashleigh A.

Yelp
Food is absolutely disgusting! We didn't even eat our food it was that bad. Maybe it's just for dogs.. not human consumption

Daisy F.

Yelp
There was a hair in my food! I was so sad because I was biting into it! Made me want to ask for a refund ! The waiter gave me attitude when I asked if we could order now... I said it respectfully! It was quite a not so good experience! Other than that, the food is delicious! I recommend the tempura tacos and the fries were delicious ! Ambiance is so aesthetically pleasing and clean and they had heaters for outside!

McKenna S.

Yelp
Food here is always delicious! Price are reasonable for the amount of food and quality of food you get. The servers are always kind and helpful when deciding on menu items, and the restraunt is quite cute and welcoming.

Gino G.

Yelp
Steak sandwich is my bread and butter I swear by it, and my family each have their own favorite great dishes, very nice servers and decently fast service if they aren't super busy. Great food, local spot, good atmosphere in riviera village.

Niks O.

Yelp
One of my favorite places honestly. I love that it's farm to table. They have happy hour specials and brunch! The outdoor area is huge and they have a cute little fire pit too. The service has always been great and I have no complaints about the food. The biscuits are my fave! Pro tip: they are only made after 5pm! Lol I've definitely tried to get them during lunch. The cheese board is perfect. Panko avocado is a must try. Oooh and the clam chowder

Virgilynn B.

Yelp
What a nice little spot to celebrate my birthday and Valentine's Day. Good thing my husband made reservations. The wait wasn't too long. The food was delicious. No complaints. We were full so we did have some clam chowder leftovers. Ambiance was intimate and it was a little loud but nothing to complain about. This was a nice dinner. We opted out of the pre fixe menu because we wanted to order other items and we were quite satisfied. Give this place a try if you're in the area. We did have to park a couple blocks away but it was a short walk.

Ryu K.

Yelp
Outrageous prices for what you get. Service is bland and the staffs give out an unhappy vibe.

Paulene L.

Yelp
Every Valentine's Day my boyfriend and I want to try something new. Of course we waited last minute to make reservations and we found that hook and plow had openings so we booked it! We are glad we did because I think we are simple people so the fries and oyster are 10/10! We would go for that again! The restaurant was a little crowded that day but we expect that. The ambiance was very cozy! I will come again to eat oysters with my friends!

Allee S.

Yelp
Came for Mother's Day, service wasn't spectacular, just felt a bit ignored (especially that early when we were the 3rd table sat). Food was tasty. Kids pancakes said they come with strawberries, but then showed up with bananas? Not sure why.

Laura F.

Yelp
We come here often, we have our favorites, such as the peach burrata salad, we LOVE the breakfast! The bacon gravy on the breakfast burrito is like no other, and each item is outstanding such as the eggs, thick bacon, and toast! They don't cut corners and we notice! Staff is great too!

Greg J.

Yelp
Oysters were very good. My salmon salad was delish. I would def go again. Service was just ok but I never know if it's me or them so I don't usually add that as part of my scoring.

Sarah W.

Yelp
2nd time dining here. First time came here for brunch and the food was ok, typical brunch spot kind of food, but the service was blah. Not sure if it's because my friend had a dog but definitely felt unwelcomed. Second time around, dined here with a group of 10 girls and we shared plates and our waitress was amazing. The dirty martinis here are delicious.

Jesus J.

Yelp
This place so delicious! First time in the area and hopefully not my last. The patio seating was beautiful, you are just a few blocks away for the ocean! The wait time was a little long but they were busy and luckily the food is delicious so it made it worth the wait!

V Y.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere, you just relax and enjoy the sun while seating outside table and watching people pass by with their dogs.

Johnny M.

Yelp
I rarely get up in time for breakfast, but i'm glad I stopped by The Hook & Plow this morning. There are many great breakfast burritos in the South Bay and this one is right up their with them! It's not your typical breakfast burrito, with a pear sriracha, creme fraiche & a white sausage gravy over the top. It's not particularly spicy. I'm sure you could ask for some hotter salsa, but the flavors worked great together, especially with the onion jam inside. The patio had a great vibe & the hostess and server were very knowledgeable and welcoming. Great job! Thanks!

Bradey T.

Yelp
I enjoyed the ambiance of what this location has to offer. I saw people I knew walking by! Great service as always. I had the hook special and it was tasty New Zealand fish that I've never had before with killer potatoes with veggies! Great beer and wine selection, my girl loves the bar drinks!

Jasmine S.

Yelp
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A BRUNCH PLACE IN THE VILLAGE, THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE FOR BRUNCH, AND PLEASE READ WHY: Very small selection of choices on the menu, especially if you are looking for a nice brunch place. The hamburger was plain without much going on and a bit oily to be honest. The breakfast burrito was definitely better than the hamburger but other than the breakfast burrito, there is nothing much to pick for brunch. Additionally, OJ was not freshly squeezed, so definitely pricy for a grocery store OJ. Probably will not visit this place again for brunch.

Georgiana P.

Yelp
Great experience dining here with my family. Service was prompt and friendly, food was delicious and easy! We will be back

Tina M.

Yelp
Nice outdoor seating. Our waiter was not great but they have a dog menu for fancy pups hehe.

Olivia C.

Yelp
We came here for Happy Hour and HAPPY we were ! all due to our AWESOME server Stephanie who took good care of us . Her drinks and food recommendations were spot on ! we tried the hard Kumbacha, house chardonnay, and grass fed sliders. We enjoyed them so much , we ordered double !! Great location, food , price , and service !

Jean G.

Yelp
Visited the restaurant last night with a few friends for happy hour. I would not recommend this HH at all! I ordered a taco for $5 a shrimp cocktail was $11 for 3 shrimp, and a salmon poke tostada was $7! The portions were tiny! I was shocked when he brought it out! I had gone to the Hermosa Beach one years ago and liked it, so I don't know what happened to their portion size. I wish I had taken a picture to post on here. The waiter was good and he did give us separate checks. But here are so many better HH in the area I will be going to in the future.

Sponge W.

Yelp
I usually come during brunch hours and get the shrimp and grits. Good shrimp and grit is really hard to come by. The last Atlanta has really great shrimp and grits but this spot really shocked me to taste as good as some of the shrimp and grits I've tried. It had a "kick" to it, a bit of spice and the shrimp is large, juicy, and flavorful. Shoutout to Stephanie who always engages with the customers and makes me feel welcomed whenever I visit.

Brittany M.

Yelp
Came here yesterday for brunch, it was such a beautiful day and a great day to be at hook & plow! We started off with the mimosa flight and oysters. The oysters were sooo good! They came ready to eat, just added some lemon on top. For entrees I ordered the breakfast sandwich, really tasty and loved that it came on sourdough bread. Had egg, cheese, bacon, and lettuce. I was only able to eat half of it though as it was pretty filling, but I never complain about big portions! My friends ordered the shrimp and grits and steak and eggs. They were both delicious as well! The shrimps were huge, had a Spanish taste to it with the sausage that came with the shrimp and grits. The steak was cooked perfectly and tender and came with fingerling potatoes and an arugula salad. All the food came out perfectly and the service was great. We had a really nice waitress who checked on us fairly frequently and helped us out when we needed to move the umbrella to block the sun. Thank you Hook & Plow for the amazing brunch experience!

Shanelle S.

Yelp
Cute spot a block or so inland from the Hermosa Pier. Came here with a friend on a Monday evening around 7pm, and had no reservations. We were seated immediately. Indoor and patio dining with heating lamps available. Credit cards accepted. QR code menu. It's good for big groups, and is kid-friendly. Food-wise, I wish they had more of their lunch options available for dinner, but the food overall was alright. I think the dishes could've been more flavorful, but on the positive side, the waitress we had was friendly and it was nice to have some al fresco dining. Brussel sprouts - a generous amount of brussel sprouts; note that there's no char, and I typically prefer mine to be more crispy Furikake Fries - get these - you don't really get a furikake flavor, but the fries are just the right amount of crispy Poke - the sauce could've used more flavor, but the fish itself was good. Panko avocado - this was interesting, it's breaded half pieces of avocado (total of 4 pieces atop arugula)

Trina M.

Yelp
Loved everything about our visit. Food, ambiance, staff above par. Only downside was parking.

Ian S.

Yelp
It was good but I'm between three and four stars. Bottom line is that I won't be coming back even though nothing sucked. The deep-fried avocado didn't work for me. The ceviche was just OK. Salads were good, the martini worked. Our server was nice enough (but maybe distracted)... seemed like he could have used a little more help... too many tables? Or just a huge turnout for Valentines day? I still do not like when a digital pad is shoved in front of your face and you are asked to immediately determine (in front of the server) what the tip is going to be. And it would be nice to get the paper breakdown to review before being hit with "sign here". I mean, a lot of restaurants these days do the added-on percentage for health care or whatever. I'm still not sure where I stand on that stuff but if I'm being hit with an extra 15% for "employee health care" I certainly won't be leaving a 25% tip. Some other places add in a tip automatically. This place did neither, as it turned out... everything looked perfect on the bill. But I'd rather look it over before signing. (Yes, I suppose I could ask for it ahead of signing but they are already scrambling and I feel like I'm making things difficult to start asking for that kind of stuff.)

Trina M.

Yelp
This has become my fav restaurant in the South Bay over the last several years. Food is always excellent!!! Flavor profiles are creative and not overbearing. Fresh ingredients make each dish amazing. Service is always friendly, informative and attentive. Ambience is beach casual chic, comfortable and pretty. Try my fav dishes...... Furikake Fries, Pear and Burrata Salad, Brick Chicken!! In the summer, the Frose is amazing!

Brian W.

Yelp
We came during the soft opening a few years back. It was decent, but nothing to ever make us want to retry it again. However, we came here on NYE since they had availability and we're not disappointed. We had a waitress who was AMAZING (wish I could remember her name). However, you could tell she loved working there and really made our dining experience pleasant. When I asked her about their Old Fashioned's, she got super excited to tell me how it was slightly interactive and we got to later see - which I captured in a video on a phone lol (I'm a millennial, it's in my blood). Additionally the steak was delicious and so was the appetizers my wife ordered. They have a patio outside too which has a very trendy and spacious feel to it, adding to its nice ambiance. All in all, a great choice for our NYE dinner and we can't wait to be back!

Vinny R.

Yelp
Simple menu, I wasn't too hungry so got a charcuterie board and a clam chowder. Stopped by mainly for a brew and a small meal. I didn't like the cheese option, it had a coffee taste on the outer layer, but everything else tasted great. The clam chowder was thick which I enjoyed

Lauren M.

Yelp
My husband and I love to come here for happy hr and really anytime of the day. The food is perfection, and the atmosphere is friendly . The staff is always professional and attentive. Our favorite place to be !!! Silva, you are a gem!

D L.

Yelp
Here again. Hard to try any other item than our favorites- Jidori Brick Chicken and Clam Chowder! Flavors extraordinary! This time we biked to dinner. Great parking directly out in front of patio seating.

Denise S.

Yelp
Great food: ordered the clam chowder, burrata and pear salad, fish of the day and some oysters Fish was perfectly done and very good Burrata and pear salad was good, not overdressed, but not sure that burrata is the perfect cheese for candied nuts. Clam chowder was great Got the Catalina cocktail which was very nice and a lager Service was good. After bringing the oysters separately, they brought all the others dishes together, but agreed to take back the clam chowder and bring it later Ambiance is nice. Seating is outside, or in the patio or inside. Noise level is low conducive to conversation 4.5 stars overall experience and would recommend and come back

Christine W.

Yelp
The food, drinks and ambiance is just perfect for brunch. You won't be disappointed. The location is perfect. You can walk around to shop or go down 3-4 blocks to walk down to the beach.

Rick S.

Yelp
We had a nice lunch here with outdoor seating. Good service, and quality food. Nothing to complain about at all, and we'd come back again. It's not "destination dining" per se that inspires a craving for anything specific to come back for as a go-to spot, but it's reliable and I recommend it without any complaints.

Toshi I.

Yelp
Been here several times for Apps n Drinks on the parklet patio. On my last visit, biting flies or fleas attacked my ankles. Suffice to say, it did not enhance my dining experience. The hostesses are always really sweet and accommodating. I made a reservation for my family. We chose to be seated outside but chose to sit in the covered patio. However, we were still getting bitten by those pesky flies. Another couple left shortly after. Our server was slow and I had to flag him down several times. This was one disappointing dining experience here. I've enjoyed my times at the Hermosa location and the few times I've been here for Hapoy Hour. The weather has cooled down recently and I'll reconsider trying again. Maybe the flies issue will be handled.

Janet F.

Yelp
This restaurant has a super cute ambiance. There's outdoor and indoor seating and has a fire pit type table, which is nice. Our server was super nice and great with his recommendations and accommodations. The place where this restaurant fell short, for me, was the food. It was all just ok. The biscuits were weird with too many layers of flavor and had both sweet and savory flavors. They weren't my favorite, and we left 3/4 of a biscuit behind. I will say that my husband had some oysters and said they were delicious!! I got the brick chicken meal. It was good. Bluewater Grill does it better. I tasted my husband's plate, I think he got pork, and I wasn't impressed. My friend got the hamburger. It was also, "meh". Definitely a bit pricey for the overall concensus being just ok. We agreed to go back someday for the oysters, but other than that, there's too many amazing places here to settle for "ok food" anywhere.
