Lovely host, had great time pottery painting. Very relaxed and fun environment would definitely recommend - even if it’s a small group coffee and paint session or even a larger party. 10/10 favorite spots I’ve been here multiple times already and have recommended my friends to go as well.

This studio is filled with all kinds of fun activities. Today, we tried ceramic painting and slime-making—both were an absolute hit! The shop itself is spacious, clean, and well-organized, creating a comfortable environment to unleash our creativity. The owner is very kind and attentive, even helping us change the water while we painted. Prices are reasonable, around $30 per ceramic piece. My children and I had a truly happy and stress-free Sunday afternoon together. Highly recommend this studio for families or couples looking for a fun and memorable time!

A casual art studio with cute protects to choose from. There's a room for private parties. I think the best projects are the candles and the ceramic. Those are harder to do at home. The ceramic paint station works pretty well. Love the needle applicator for details. Slime and succulents don't look as exciting, mostly because the materials available are very beginner level. But both of those are a staple at my house, so I have higher expectations. The lady working there is very nice and patient.

My girlfriend and I went for a nice sit down date amd had alot of fun. Alot of kids around due to a birthday party but just added to the fun and experience. Great date recommendation! Make something cute. Pick it up the following week all nice and ready to display or us.

Pottery/art studio for casual fun crafts! Took my family here to make candles with colored wax pieces. Nice alternate to painting pottery as the candle is ready soon after you finish assembling and can be taken home. You choose the colors, cut the pieces and make any pattern, add a scent and glitter on top. Took us little over an hr, great group activity!

We had a birthday party for our 11 year old and it couldn't have been more perfect. The kids enjoyed ceramic painting and had a blast! Everyone at the studio were very helpful whenever the kids asked. 10/10 would recommend.

Fremont has been deprived of a creative space like this since Color Me Mine closed. This studio is even better though! Not only do they have ceramics painting, but they also have succulent gardens, candle assembling, mosaic creating, a slime station and I think canvas painting too. All prices of projects have studio time included, so its affordably priced. Best part? No time limit! No pressure to rush your project. You are warmly greeted and given a mini tour of your options and allowed to sit and enjoy your time. Studio attendants are more than helpful and so supportive of everyone's processes. Definitely coming back!

Stumbled upon this cute pottery and craft spot in Fremont and had such a great time! Originally came in hoping to do a mosaic class, but turns out it's more of a DIY setup -- no formal classes. But no fret, it worked out still! My friends and I ended up choosing pottery painting instead, and wow, they have so many pieces to pick from. The vibe of the place is super chill and artsy, and the owner is absolutely lovely -- really sweet and helpful. Heads up: it's a popular spot for kids' birthday parties, so expect some excited voices in the background :) Oh, it's BYOB! Yep, painting pottery with a glass of wine in hand? Yes please. Great place to unwind, get a little creative, and just have a good time with friends/family/coworkers.

Wonderful experience here! We booked a private party for a group of kids, which included 2 activities and use of a private room for 3 hours. The owner was extremely accommodating and flexible despite a couple of changes in plans, and she was so sweet in person when helping our group. The space is well organized and appeals to a wide range of ages. Our group did the pottery painting and candle making and had a lot of fun with both. Great place if you're looking to host a birthday party or if you're looking for a quiet afternoon of painting.

This is a fun spot to do some pottery painting by yourself or with friends. They offer other types of activities like canvas painting, slime making, candle making, etc. It's also a cute place to host kid birthday parties as I've witnessed a couple of times. I appreciate that the owner and employees don't rush you to finish within a set time & you can come back another day to finish up. I think the only con is that the pickup is a bit disorganized. It took a while for them to find our pieces & they kept telling us that we must've already picked them up since they couldn't locate them.

Such a cute business and space, not only for kids but for any one who wants some quiet time painting or wants to get rowdy with some friends. My daughter wanted to have her birthday party here but we had some schedule conflicts on our end. Luckily, our friends decided to host their daughter's birthday here a week later so it worked out.The owner is super friendly, does her best to maintain a clean, organized and safe environment. The small private room in the back was perfect; each child got to select something they wanted to paint, all of the paints and necessary items to execute, and us adults got to eat, drink, and watch the kids have creative freedom. Looking forward to coming back!

I went here shortly after they opened as I was looking for ceramics I could take home and do with my baby. I had done something similar with my older child during covid but Color Me Mine wouldn't accommodate taking the ceramics home to bring back later anymore. Oh well, their loss! The selection of options was great! There was a a couple kids as part of a little summer camp working on some crafts and the woman who runs the place was extremely helpful and supportive of my request. She helped me box up the plates and bowls safely and was able to provide some little cups with lids to take paints home. I have my own brushes and sponges so I was all set. I brought everything back about a week later to be fired. I told her there was no rush on my end so she called a little over a week after that to let me know they were ready for pick up! Everything turned out great! I have a 4 year old and I plan to bring him back soon to try one of the other crafts. I also saw a few groups of adults painting ceramics during my various visits. Really cool business idea, I hope they thrive!

Sarah and the staff were amazing throughout the event. They were all so supportive and accommodating. The kids had fun and they also got to take back amazing art work home. Perfect place for some quality time

Visited this place for painting on a Thursday evening, and I loved it. The owner was so gracious and helpful, and I definitely will be back to paint some more items. They've got a good assortment of items to paint and seem to have candle and slime making as well.

I came here with some friends for a pottery painting girl's day and had an amazing time :) The owner is so sweet and very willing to help out with anything you need. I asked her about some of the pottery options and also saw her helping paint a piece for another customer! It is very affordable, as most other pottery painting studios charge a studio fee and more expensive prices. For my trinket plate, I only had to pay $16+tax which is a great price. It's in a nice location with lots of parking in the back and lots of tables inside to choose from. I would recommend this to anyone and am coming back soon to make candles or do succulent arranging next time!

Walked in on a Saturday night to paint some pottery for a girls night, we had a great time. All the pieces are very reasonably priced, with a lot of variety. The owner is super sweet and helpful!

We celebrated my daughter's 9th birthday at The Hot Spot Studios in Fremont, and it was AMAZING! She and her 25 friends (ages 3-9) had a blast. The older kids enjoyed pottery painting and candle making, while the younger ones loved painting treasure chests and picture frames. Sarah, the owner, was fantastic--she had everything prepped before we arrived and gave clear instructions throughout the party. The studio fit 26 kids and 35+ adults comfortably, but it might feel tight if there are walk-ins during the event. A heads-up: there's only one sink located inside the single bathroom, so expect some handwashing lines. Also, Sarah runs the place solo, so parents might need to help out a bit. Overall, both kids and adults had an incredible time, and everyone said they wanted to come back. We've already visited again since the party, and my kids loved it just as much! FYI, you can pick up the beautifully glazed pottery about a week later. If you're looking for a creative, fun, and memorable party spot, I highly recommend The Hot Spot Studios!

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful in creating a conducive environment for folks to work on their art projects. The convenience of having all the materials and help. I have only been to the store once with my kids but I saw some folks who seem to have been there several times - they just sit down and go at their pottery work. Some were soooo good :) I recommend the pottery work coz after firing the piece, you can use it ... a mug, plate or candle holder. Cool stuff!

Walked in late Sunday afternoon and while it was quite busy with a child's birthday party they were able to secure us a table quickly. Very friendly owner and employee, and we were very impressed with the selection of paintable pottery choices. They are Byob friendly, and we had a great little date night. We are excited to see how our pottery turns out, and would recommend this place to all ages.

Very spacious paint your own pottery place! There are lots of pottery selection and other fun things to do such as make your own candle, slime, and mini flower pot. They also have supplies for painting so chances are you can always find something to enjoy! They even have a party room and offer summer camps or drop-ins. My boys enjoyed a full day of activities and got to take all their work home at the end of the day.

It's so nice to have a pottery painting place in Fremont again! The owner is very nice and explained the different project options. It's great to have the option of doing mosaic glass art, candles, slime, succulent planting or ceramic painting.

My partner and I came here for a date night and absolutely LOVED IT. The lady who runs the shop is incredibly sweet, and the work that she put into making it a fun environment really shows and paid off. Since painting this plate, I've already visited another time and plan on coming back many more! I'll also say getting your item fired and returned to you takes way less time than other pottery painting places at about one week :-)

Had a great time! We came near close so it was pretty quiet, nice atmosphere. Staff is very helpful and the selection of things to paint is great. We will definitely be back... we want to replace all of the plates in our house with plates that we make here :D I made a castle!!

Customer service was great! Don't charge for studio fee, only what you paint. I will be coming again. Great place for kids, many different options!

This is a great place for kids to do different handicraft projects. They can easily spend one to two hours there!

My family (10, 7, and 6 yo) all had such an enjoyable experience here one Sunday afternoon! We came across Hostpot on yelp and I called ahead to see if they could accommodate us that afternoon. Thankfully there were able to. We decided to choose a ceramic piece to paint and there were so many options it was hard to choose which one! Sarah was very kind, welcoming, And helpful. We painted for a few hours and then came back a week later to pick up our pieces. They came out so beautiful!

Went on a Saturday afternoon with my niece and was very pleasantly surprised. This place has pottery, canvas painting, mosaic, and slime. All for a reasonable price in cute setting. All supplies neatly supplied. I will definitely be back. Happy there is finally a place like this locally.

Happened upon the shop while strolling downtown and my partner and I had a delightful impromptu date! The staff were wonderfully kind and explained everything -- we chose our pieces and painted to our hearts' content for several hours. Prices were very reasonable and I appreciated that there were no hidden fees. A great way to spend the afternoon, no matter your age! We can't wait to see how our pieces turn out and we'll definitely be coming back!

I had the BEST time here today with my nieces! We called yesterday to make sure there was room for us and there was! this place is pretty big compared to other studios I've been to. Great selection of pottery and reasonably priced. The owner and staff member were both so sweet and helpful. They really add on to the good and fun energy of this studio. I am excited to return and try some candle making and mosaics! so happy this place exists and is so close by!
