"Second-Oldest House in Scottsdale If you like Zinc Bistro, the House has the same great chef, Matt Carter. This has terrific drinks and food, but the ambiance just can't be captured in a photo. Ask manager Tony for the cider shandy. Opened in late 2012, the restaurant inside is cozy. The patio outside is sort of southern in feel. Chef Matt Carter lets you explore his menu of re-imagined classic Mediterranean dishes. From house-made pastas to shellfish cooked over an Argentinian-style grill, dining at the House is an exciting culinary journey. While there is one other house that is older in Scottsdale , they do claim the tree is the oldest in Scottsdale."

We came here as tourists to celebrate a birthday and were so happy we chose this place. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, perfect for a special evening. The outdoor seating with string lights felt magical. The food was excellent — the steak was juicy and flavorful, and the short rib just melted in the mouth. The charcuterie board was also a great start, with fresh and tasty selections. Cocktails were well-balanced and beautifully served. The service really stood out. Our server was kind, attentive, and always seemed to be there at the right time without interrupting. We also appreciated that the right utensils came with each course, a small thing that made a big difference. We picked this restaurant based on reviews, and it definitely lived up to them. Highly recommend if you’re in town and looking for a great dinner experience

BEAUTIFUL BRASSERIE This Old Town Scottsdale spot is delivering a fantastic product in a polished manor. The interior is smart casual and has that sorta French feeling without the signature snootiness. The service was spot on and it was a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Portions are HUGE here. The pork belly appetizer plus a salad is like a whole big meal just by itself. Hub ordered the ribeye and I ordered the Chilean sea bass. My fish was PERFECTLY flaky and moist with a great flavor profile. I did not care for the bordelaise sauce on hub’s steak and am glad I hadn’t ordered it. The gift from the kitchen was a nice touch. We were so full we skipped dessert.

My friend and I stopped in for a nightcap on Saturday and were pleasantly surprised by the inviting ambiance and excellent service. Our bartender, Chad, was absolutely wonderful—he crafted a couple of delicious drinks for us and truly made our night. His generosity and hospitality did not go unnoticed! We will definitely be back!

This place is so cute and quaint. My son took me and surprised me for my 47th birthday. I had a wonderful time. The service was amazing, my cocktail was delicious. The dinner was fabulous. I am so excited to go back.

This was a real treat. Absolutely, everything was wonderful. Great place to go on a date, dinner with friends, or hang out at the bar. Chad, Chef Dustin, and Joe are reasons to return. Thank you for the great food ,company, and drinks.

Google
Absolutely incredible experience. Maybe the best meal we’ve ever had. We loved the escargot, tortellini and pork! The atmosphere was so beautiful, our service was perfect. Our server was the perfect blend of being personable but letting us have our own evening date without inserting himself too much. Can’t say enough good things about our experience!!! Thank you so much!!!!

Google
The House Brasserie is a true gem! This lovely, family-owned restaurant offers an incredible dining experience from start to finish. While the food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, it was the hospitality that truly stole the show. The warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care from the staff made us feel right at home. 100% recommend — and without a doubt, we’ll be back!

Google
Great service and very nice ambiance. My husband and I had dinner here for our anniversary and sat outside. It’s a very cute date spot but the food wasn’t as good as I was hoping for. We had several appetizers and were disappointed with a few. The crudo was delicious! But the crab cake was mushy and the escargot, while served nicely, was not as good as we’ve had elsewhere. The olive cake was good but nothing that memorable. Our main courses were both good. Probably not good enough to bring us back. But still enjoyable. Best part was our friendly server Cameron. Overall, it was a 6 out of 10 experience.

Yelp
I came here for a birthday, I love the inside, perfectly dimmed lighting and kind of romantic interior, perfect for a date too. The service was definitely 5 star, so so accommodating, none of us ever had a cup less than half full and the waiters and manager were extremely kind. I got 2 appetizers and a side, the escargot was so good! I had never tried it before but always wanted to. I also ordered the pork belly, it was so tender and filling, it could've been an entree itself. And I ordered a side of fries, wasn't a fan of it, too crunchy for me. Birthday girl was very happy with her filet mignon. And the manager also brought out a birthday dessert for her with a candle:) it was a good size and very good, some type of layered chocolate cake with ice cream and berries. I would love to come again! They also automatically include gratuity on the bill.

Yelp
Just wonderful! The food (French influence I'd say) was just terrific, the Pork Chop for example - out of this world! The Waiter was a real pro, he really knew the menu, pleasant guy too, very respectful. We sat on the patio which was wonderful and the patio area is large, sort of wraps around the place. Do a reservation for sure - this is a no-brainer.

Yelp
This place is such a cute and romantic spot for date night! Their interior is somewhat vintage style and so cute and cozy. Complimentary bread was cheesy and yummy! We tried their pork chop, sea bass, and beef tartare. Sea bass was yummy, I liked the sauce and grains came with it. Pork chop was good, nothing exceptional. And beef tartare was ok. This is indeed a cute spot, but their food wasn't as good as I expected. People were friendly though!

Yelp
A fancy dinner in Old Town Scottsdale took us to The House Brasserie at the outside patio. The hors d'oeuvres and apertifs came around frequently and in generous portions. They were so tasty, I filled up, so when we sat down for the formal activities, I hardly had room in my belly. But I was able to fit in an arugula salad - fresh, bright greens with some goat cheese and strawberries - and the Chilean Sea Bass served over Yakitori Leeks, Roasted Sunchoke Purée, and Champagne Gastrique. Fancy and delicious! I could barely get a bite of the bread pudding and sorbet dessert. If you're looking for upscale eats in Old Town, try The House Brasserie!

Yelp
Amazing. The food was delicious, the design of the restaurant was gorgeous. But Chad, the head bartender, made this place a true gem. Not only did he design the entire cocktail menu in which every cocktail I tried was so well put together, but he also had us making friends with every new patron that came into the bar. There is something truly special about chatting with another person or couple at the bar and learning from and laughing with them like you've known them forever. Thanks for the awesome experience Chad!

Yelp
The House Brasserie is just another high end Scottsdale restaurant where it feels like you pay a premium for the ambiance and location. The food was good but it wasn't great, especially for the price. I was with a group of 4 and we shared a few apps to start. -Complimentary bread: It tastes like a savory cream puff, without the cream filling. It's light, airy, and cheesy. -Escargot: The flavor of the escargot was good, but the bread was really hard and tough. I tried soaking the bread in the buttery/garlicy sauce but it didn't make a difference. -Foie Gras: This was pretty good, but I wasn't blown away by foie gras itself. I've had better elsewhere. -Sea Bass: This had a beautiful, golden crust, but it was just a tad overcooked. It was flakey but not buttery soft. I enjoyed the couscous which was a nice pairing with this dish. -Iboerico Pork: It wasn't as amazing as I hoped. The flavors were just okay to me. -Brussel Sprouts: They were perfectly crispy and flavorful. This was my favorite out of everything we ate. I can't remember the name of the cocktail that I ordered but it should have been a fraction of the price. It was just okay - I've had better for less $$. I had high expectations because of the raving reviews. The main reason for 3 stars is because the price didn't quite match the quality.

Yelp
Wonderful venue. The restaurant is a cute converted home with a peaceful patio. Our service was polite and very attentive. Everything in the menu sounded great but unfortunately each dish fell short. The escargot had quite a good flavor. The sauce was garlicky and buttery but the bread ruined the experience. It is served with a hard crunchy bread. I would like to emphasize that it was not a light fluffy crunch, but dense! This meant that it was impossible to soak any of that wonderful sauce at all. We even broke it up and left it in the sauce while we chatted for a little bit - did not soak/soften at all. (Perhaps that is impressive in its own way?) The foie gras was ok. The pastry it came with was flaky and fluffy but the foie gras itself didn't seem to have that much flavor compared to others I've had. The seabass was good in flavor but perhaps a little overcooked. It tasted a little dense and dry as opposed to the usual buttery and glossy texture one would expect. To be fair - I've never had iberico pork so I do not know if this is how it's supposed to taste. I've heard it being described as the wagyu of pork. I could definitely taste the higher fat content but felt like it didn't contribute much flavor-wise over normal pork (whereas with wagyu, the fat flavor is so unique and sublime). Again, since I havnt had iberico before I don't know if this is a fault with the restaurant or with my expectation. The sides, however, were not special enough considering they chose not to include a carb with this dish. Overall, none of the dishes tasted bad but they each had lacking elements too noticeable to overlook. The reason my review is harsher is at this price point, those elements should not be missing. The bill for our group that had 2 appetizers, 4 entrees, and 4 drinks, came out to $400. Drinks were $20 each. While they were good, there was nothing special about them compared to the same drink you could get somewhere else for $15. The quality for the price will probably prevent me from returning to this otherwise very nice establishment.

Yelp
Again, we had another great meal my wife and I and because we were celebrating we got that great seat outside in front of the fireplace. We each wanted a little of the Sea Bass and Filet so we got them and split between us. Wow - it was perfect. To start they bring a little bread item that was buttered and with a little garlic. A nice touch to start with. The Sea Bass was so tender and flaky with a tad of crispness on the edges so it just melted in my mouth. Then, the Linz Filet was with a Bordelaise sauce and capped with a ravioli and pomegranate seeds. My gosh it was just wonderful. We shared a bottle of Daou Cabernet and they gave me a cute little brownie with a birthday chocolate. Yum! I just have not had a single bad experience here and you can tell there are many regulars. It is romantic yet great for a group as we have had groups with us that we have brought here both from in town out and everyone wants to come back when visiting. I cannot recommend this place any higher. It is a place with great food, excellent service and romantic.

Yelp
I dined on the patio with colleagues while our company's owner/CEO was visiting and was not very impressed with the overall experience. The inside portion of the restaurant was very charming but completely empty and quiet, so our group opted to dine on the patio. There's a very cute patio with a fireplace on the east side of the building that was not being seated; instead, we were given a dirty table overlooking the apartment complex to the south and the parking lot to the east. The table we were seated at had a dirty tablecloth from the wind earlier in the day, and the silverware on the table was spotted and had pieces of leftover food. When the server arrived, she asked for our drink orders. I asked for a very dry wine and she told me that the menu had changed and she didn't know what to recommend. I ended up with a Chablis that wasn't my favorite and certainly wasn't dry. As a vegan, there were very few options, although the server assured me that the chef would prepare something wonderful. I ordered a salad that arrived with a milky dressing that was obviously not vegan. I didn't eat it and was waiting for the server to come by to check on us, but it was at least 15 minutes before she came back. By that time, the rest of our group was finished with their first course, so it didn't make sense to get a replacement. The rest of the meal was mediocre and overpriced. I asked for a meal that wasn't just a plate of vegetables and was assure that the chef would create something special, and when the dish arrived, it was just a plate of vegetables. Long story short, I don't anticipate coming back for dinner anytime soon. However, I would consider coming back for drinks on the eastern patio when the weather is nice and there's a cozy fire roaring.

Yelp
Keith brought me here for a business dinner and it still to this day is one of the best cooked filets I have ever had. The sear was PERFECT and was a degree over 120 (as ordered). Would 100% recommend it to anyone in the Scottsdale area!

Yelp
Such a beautiful and unique concept. Service was great this was on New Year's Eve. I ordered Filet it was cooked perfectly and was a large portion but covered with elote (Mexican street corn) I love both on their own but didn't love them together. I would prefer more traditional serving on this menu. The pork chop was very good. Salad was fresh and tasty would come back and try some different items. In the past they had a crab fried rice that I loved and was disappointed it's no longer an option.

Yelp
I love the romantic speak easy vibe, and the Victorian-era-inspired decor. We had dinner to celebrate my birthday during our trip to Scottsdale and this place didn't disappoint. We ordered the Hudson Valley Foie Gras and Escargot De Bourgogne for appetizers. For entree I had the Chilean Sea Bass (my fav) and hubby opted for the Linz Ribeye. Food was good, but not outstanding. Overall nice ambience and decent food, hubby and I had a wonderful time and enjoyed our dinner.

Yelp
Went here for my mother 75th birthday dinner. Great atmosphere and layout of the restaurant was great. Indoor outdoor seating, service was unbelievable. Great local restaurant. Everybody at the restaurant is a wine specialist. The food was very fresh very well prepared they went above and beyond for my mother's birthday. Great music. It is in old town so parking is not the best. Food 5/5 Food Quality 5/5 Service 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Parking 3/5 ( nothing the restaurant can do about it) Location 5/5

Yelp
What a disappointing experience. The only stars are for the bartender. I was called an hour prior to my open table reservation to see "if i was still coming" odd but ok. She informed me that they "close the kitchen" at 9:30, the time of my reservation. Why even take one then if that is the case? I asked if they had space, so I came earlier. My reservation was for the patio. It beautiful outside. I was sat at the bar. The hostess was very obviously annoyed that I was there. No specials announced, no true greeting. They did not even confirm my reservation on OpenTable, I hope I can leave a review there as well. She was being obnoxious in my vicinity until some additional patrons walked in. I had to sit and listen to her complain about various things while I tried to enjoy my dinner. The food was good but how uncomfortable? This was my dinner and a pricey one at that. I will NEVER come back or recommend this place. So disappointed. My one night in town to eat outside and I am at a bar. Edit: she, the hostest, was sitting four chairs from me at the bar sniffling instead of blowing her nose and now she is running around loudly telling all the other workers about a tiktok she watched.

Yelp
What a great place to have a romantic dinner. Both the Chilean Seabass (miso glazed, shaved asparagus, kale, tobiko, citrus beurre, blueberry gastrique) and the heirloom cauliflower steak (eggplant compote, cannellini beans puree, caper berries, red pepper coulis) were excellent. My wife had the Spa Day drink (Ketel one orange peach botanical, aperol, lemon) and I had the Boulevard of Broken Dreams (eagle rare whiskey, remy martin cognac, pineapple, campari) and both were excellent. The service and the entire experience were top-notch. I highly recommend the House Brasserie! * I did the best I could with the photos and my phone. We ate outside and it was dark and I did not want to distract others' dining experience with a flash.

Yelp
Didn't capture pictures of everything but the sea bass and pork chop were delicious! Very cute and intimate spot. Our waitress was excellent as well. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
This place has lots of charm and class. It is surprisingly large with a great deal of outdoor seating. The service was amazing. From the person who greeted us at the door and seated us to our server who was helpful and kept checking up on us to make sure everything was good and to our liking. And now for the food. We started with the chicken ricotta meatballs which were amazing. It was hard to tell that they weren't meat instead of chicken. For the salad course, two of us had salad that was very good. My husband and I shared the escargot. It was perfectly cooked but lacking in flavor. It wasn't very garlicky and did not have enough butter for my liking. It was hard to dip the bread because there really wasn't enough sauce to dip. The pork chop was perfectly prepared so that it was juicy. The salmon was ordered medium rare and was served that way. The crab cake was very good. We opted to skip dessert as the portions were very large. The v high prices makes this a special occasion restaurant. It is not affordable for a normal Saturday night dinner.

Yelp
Went here with some friends on a weekday evening. We got there a bit before them so went to the bar and grabbed a drink. The place wasn't too crowded, but most of the bar was full. The building was really cool and the vibe was fairly laid back. We chose to eat inside as it was pretty quiet and we could catch up. For appetizers we ordered the escargot and deviled eggs, both of which were delicious. The arugula salad was split between the table and was also very nice. For a main, I went with the Iberico pork. The pork was really good and the mushrooms were delicious. For dessert, we split several items. The beignets were really good and the cream that came with it was amazing! The banana caramel sorbet was very good and refreshing. Lastly, the bread pudding with blueberry syrup drizzled on top was fantastic. The whole meal was wonderful and I look forward to going back!

Yelp
Saw this in some top 10 lists for Scottsdale so decided to take my wife on her birthday eve. This was on our bucket list & we thoroughly enjoyed the food here. Here is my take on different parameters: Food: You will not be disappointed with their take on food. Whatever we ordered was too good. However, do note that quantity is just right for a single person so don't plan to share the plate. Ambiance: Honestly I expected a better one. I did put a note during table reservation to give a good seat probably next to the fireplace, however, the other side of the outdoor was completely closed and only tent one was open that evening. The seats were too close and not very roomy. Price: It is an upscale restaurant so does the price. Our 2 adult check was almost $200 Service: The server lady was too sweet with us. Checked on us multiple times and she did get a complimentary dessert at the end for my wife's birthday. Overall take: I would recommend it for the food. But there are many other options to make a special evening more special than this. So would suggest other famous placed for such events.

Yelp
Stopped into this cute, enchanting place for a drink and had a lovely time. Our bartender Andrew was extremely helpful suggesting drinks based on flavor profiles. Husband had the whistle pig old fashioned which was enhanced with smoked hickory. I couldn't decide between Andrew's two suggestions for me so I ended up trying both. The Dr. Drew's "an apple a day" and the grapefruit pinger rye sour. I recommend the former for a refreshing drink on a hot day and the later for grapefruit lovers. Either way, you can loose between the service the the quality of drinks.

Yelp
Absolutely delighted! My boyfriend and I were celebrating an anniversary and we had a reservation for the patio, we were the only ones out on the patio and they gave us the best seat right next to the fireplace, very romantic! They insisted on giving us free glass of champagne for our celebration and free dessert! We ordered the cheese board as an appetizer and the Seabass for our main course it the food was absolutely delicious. The hostess and our waiter were so very nice. We will be coming back again!

Yelp
Kills me to write this because the FOOD IS SO EXCELLENT!!!! First time dining here. Was dying to try this place as The House Brasserie has been a part of the scottsdale scene for decades. Walked in with two other couples and immediately the hostess was SO put off and told us she needed to re arrange the inside seating because we didn't want to sit outside on the porch. This is despite the fact that our reservation on OpenTable specifically said standard inside seating. AND the restaurant was half empty! Unfortunately our waitress did not appear for awhile and when she did we all felt we were infringing upon her to get a simple drink order in. No smile or warmth. The drinks took almost 45 minutes. Not acceptable. We had to wave down a Manager just to get our waitress to come back to place an order for food. Our table ordered foie gras, escargot, barata, and salads to start. Unfortunately, things came out so haphazard with my guests waiting to finish so that they could have something to eat when our entrées came. The entrées took so long we were starving. But my oh my, were they delicious. This place is epic for food! We had ribeyes, filet mignon, the pork, and more. Everything was better than the next. It literally is like eating in heaven. That's why it's so disappointing to write this review because the staff just ruined the experience for the chef. You can tell the chef puts SO much love into this food. It's incredible. Yet from the hostess, to the management, to the staff running around it's absolutely so hard to stomach how off putting the service is. You just don't feel like you're welcomed. In fact, you feel like you're inconveniencing the people who work here when you come and eat at the restaurant and support the business. Such a shame.

Yelp
Everything was good, but we were not blown away as one would be expected for the price. Foie gras $24 - mostly grapefruit and one tiny sliver of foie gras. Truffled deviled eggs are tasty, but not truffled. Rib eyes are served on a bed of polenta drenched in gravy (or was it duck fat?) and smothered with creamy chimichurri - had to sweep all that aside to actually be able to taste the meat and picked polenta from the middle to avoid the gravy. I would much preferred to have known of how this dish was served and asked to have the gravy and chimichurri on the side. Mushroom risotto was the only excellent dish that stood out in its perfection. We did not get dessert. Service was good and reasonably attentive. The ambiance is very nice especially if you sit inside or by the outdoor fire place, which, unfortunately, we did not. We will be back to sit inside to try other dishes.

Yelp
As father of the groom, I was only responsible for a few things. And was clear there is no room for error. I needed to nail the rehearsal dinner. Up here in Northern California I have it nailed. But picking a spot in Scottsdale, from afar, was going to be tricky. Good thing a friend of mine from the Scottsdale area is a foodie. He checked around me came up with House of Brasserie. Mind you we were going to be a group of 90 people. Rehearsal dinner for my oldest son. First to get married. His fiancé's family is from Scottsdale. The heat is on. House of Brasserie absolutely crushed it for us! The organizational elements were managed from start to finish. Communication was smooth and consistent. They adjusted plans on the fly along the way from 85 up to 110 back down to 88 guests. Never batted an eye. We had a four course meal plus appetizers passed around. Open bar and wines at the table. Service never missed a beat. The group never waited between courses. Just enough time to take a few breaths and have some laughs before the next wave of amazing food. We had sashimi, salad, pan seared fish, filet mignon, all the sides you can imagine plus a full dessert. So yummy! We even brought in some entertainment and they accommodated the guitar player very well. I highly recommend House of Brasserie for a small dinner or a large group event. They were amazing to work with. Food was spectacular and it didn't cause me to have to sell stock to pay for the meal.

Yelp
My husband and I came here last night to celebrate a big birthday for him and our long awaited first baby. From the moment we entered the restaurant, all of the staff was so warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to say congratulations, but in a very genuine way. Even our server went out of his way to make a genuine connection that you don't typically expect or experience at a restaurant. They also had a table for us outside by the fireplace that felt so special, romantic and relaxing. On top of the amazing service and atmosphere, the food was so absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the pork pluma and I had the salmon, which were both incredible. I kept remarking how the salmon was probably one of the best I've had and my husband kept saying how the pork felt like he was having a delicious steak. The beignets at the end with the smoked caramel cream were just absolutely the cherry on top of a perfect evening. Highly recommend for special occasions or any occasion that fits!

Yelp
We dined last night as a large party of 10 and had an excellent experience! Service was incredible; making a reservation over the phone was very easy and the customer service was great. Our party was accommodated nicely and our table was private and well heated on the patio. Our server was so sweet and gave us great recommendations. Now the food: my goodness were we pleased!! My husband and I started with the pork belly, which was so good my husband said it was probably the best he'd ever had! I had the Jidori chicken and my husband had the ribeye. Both of which were excellently cooked. The side mac and cheese was also very good and well presented. Our friends had various dishes on the menu all of which looked amazing and everyone was very pleased with their food. After dinner our sweet server brought out a surprise birthday dessert. Overall we had an excellent time and will definitely be here again. Awesome job!!

Yelp
The food is incredible - it's all fresh and locally sourced. The owner, chef, and waiters are all personable and care to get to know their customers. I'm SO impressed with this restaurant. I don't know how I'll go anywhere else. I'm from out of town and want to come back and visit just for this restaurant. The place is stunning and adorable. When I get engaged I will 100% be coming here to celebrate. Do they cater? I want it at my wedding. This would be my last meal on death row. 10/10.

Yelp
Unbelievable!! This place is a must go to. The food is absolutely spectacular... Live music on the patio great ambience and the staff is out of this world beautiful selection of wine if you're looking for a place to go for a happy hour or a date night this is a place for you.

Yelp
Last night was my first time dining here and overall it was a very nice dinner. As mentioned in other reviews the design on the inside is really quaint and homey, especially due to the fact that it's in the second oldest home in Scottsdale. The menu is limited in selections but all of our food was very good and our server Cameron was attentive and did a great job. We started off with the Hamachi Yellowtail Crudo and it was very good. I am visiting from Los Angeles and have sushi often back home and although this dish was a bit expensive it was still very tasty. For my entrée I chose the Faroe Island Salmon and it was cooked perfectly. It was definitely my favorite between the two dishes. This dish was a bit expensive as well, but that's to be expected when having seafood in the desert. Parking is very limited in their lot, about 6 spaces, but I was able to find a space for a 6PM weekday dinner. The other option would be street parking but there is construction going on on the other side the street so make sure to read the signs.

Yelp
We hosted a surprise party here and they did so great! They seated us in the perfect area (back of the patio away from everyone). We had SUCH a great time. Everyone loved all their food, which had great flavors, and drinks and they didn't pressure us to leave right away. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening!

Yelp
This place is amazing. We love coming back here just to get the same thing. Their filet?! To die for. Their service is great, and the ambiance is very romantic!! I also recommend their Gem Lettuce salad and their chicken breast.

Yelp
OMG such an amazing dinner with friends at this lovely restaurant. The food was simply incredible. Among the marvelous items we ate were the escargot, the hamachi crudo, the Brussels sprouts, the arugula salad, the Iberian pork, the king salmon, the Chilean sea bass and the bread pudding. It was all splendid, as was the service and ambience. Don't miss this gem.

Yelp
Cute location but a horrible experience to say the least! I was going to meet pals here for din din after work before heading out to a Concert, however I was running behind in which, I'm glad that I was because they were not happy campers. The waitress was nice as she knew that we had somewhere to be at a certain time(which was plenty of time to get our meal since there was 2hrs to waste. ( as arrival was at 5pm) Reservations were made over the phone as "open door" stated that all tables were filled. I honestly think that the waitress forgot to put the order in because as time was ticking, no food arrived and when mentioned that we were in a hurry it was then, that the waitress scrambled to get the order to the table but by then, we had to get, " to go" boxes since our concert was starting in approximately 30min. I didn't even get a chance to properly sit and eat because of the delay in getting meals. Each time my party asked about the order, the waitress constantly mentioned she would run back to grab it but kept passing by with nothing in hand. When speaking to the manager, it was like speaking to a wall as he had absolutely no sympathy at all. Yes, we would go again in hopes for a better experience, I mean, 2hrs to wait for meals is unheard of for any restaurant. Talk about rushing to get to the concert...sheesh!!! There is parking in the restaurant lot, as well as, on the street. The lot parking is free. Since my party lives in another State and I'm local, I told them that I'd go back and see if my experience is better so that, when the crew returns soon that we can all go again. I really do give second chances! I do think that management should've created a better experience to return though, because this experience was horrific... over an hour wait for food to just nod your head is not good management The food taste good from the bite snuck, as being boxed up, in to go bags. I'm honestly praying for a better experience to represent AZ so that they continue to visit me

Yelp
Went here with a few friends and had an amazing experience. The place itself felt super elegant yet cozy. The food and drinks were amazing and our waitress was super sweet and attentive. Definitely coming back here next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Had a great experience at the bar. Andrew the bar tender was very helpful with suggesting drinks that our palettes may like. My husband had the hickory smoked old fashioned. Andrew suggested the grapefruit ginger rye sour and the dr Drew's "an apple a day." I ended up trying them both and was not disappointed. The dr. Drew was a bit sweeter but not overly so. The grapefruit drink delivered on that tartness I love. Will probably be in here again while visiting Scottsdale.

Yelp
My husband & I can been wanting to venture out and try some new places. We came across this one and we're so happy we did! The service by Tommy was top notch. The ambiance is so cute & romantic. We were seated on the beautiful patio and the weather was perfect. We started off with the cheese board & some delicious prickly pear lemonade mock tails yummy! My husband ordered the pork chop & I had the fried chicken and it was so delicious. We need the evening with the chocolate brownie dessert & some coffee. Thank you for a great dining experience we can't wait to return.

Yelp
Came here for Restaurant Week. Ordered the bass rice plate. Skin of bass was very nice and crispy. Rice mix had a nice combo of raisins, cabbage and artichoke. Cute indoor interior and decor. Although a lot of spiderwebs and dust on the ledges and corner of the indoor dining space.

Yelp
Really outstanding. Was heading there for a bday dinner for my mom but she ended up bowing out. So ended up date night with my gf. We started with shishito peppers which were different and as delicious as any rendition we've had. There was a sauce which was maybe yuzu based? For the main dishes I got the ribeye and my lady had the cauliflower steak. Both were incredible. I also subbed the mashed for fries that were on par. We didn't get desert but we did get wine. I had to return my glass bc the wine was corked. As strong as my wine game is I had my gf taste it without telling her my thoughts. Her immediate reaction was "tastes like vinegar". So I was convinced and the server whom I asked gladly exchanged it. This place is not cheap but it's worth it. The service is on point and we will be going back. Next time for sure with my mother

Yelp
Wow, this place really is a house-- very home-y and warm inside like you're walking into your grandma's for dinner. I appreciate the beautiful decor that really ties everything together. Parking is limited as they have a small lot right out front that seems to get full easily. You have a choice of outdoor or indoor seating and we chose indoor to avoid the heat. Make reservations in advance especially on weekends, it seems like they get fully booked often. Service was good, our waiter was very enthusiastic and helpful. We started off with compliments from the chef-- forgot what they were called but it was a savory, cheesy puff of some sort, pretty good and a peasant surprise. We ordered a few appetizers. The halibut cheeks and chips were ok, I would prefer a smaller breading to fish ratio and the "chips" were just fries. The truffle Parmesan fries didn't have a really strong flavor of truffle unfortunately. The Oregon foraged mushrooms were quite good-- different kinds of mushrooms beautifully arranged topped with ribbons of cheese, quite delectable. I ordered the wild caught salmon, and it was great, as expected from a pricier restaurant. The fish was moist and infused with flavor that paired well with the base of beans, corn, etc. I also tried my friend's umami ribeye and it was so juicy and tender. Getting a meaty bite with the topped garlic and mushroom satisfied all the taste buds in my mouth. This dish was probably my favorite. Dessert was ok, just a cookie with some cream, nothing special. Overall solid restaurant, but could use some improvements on the appetizers and desserts mentioned above. Not sure how good the other restaurants are around this area since I was only visiting for a day, but I will consider twice before returning if there are cheaper options nearby.

Yelp
The food was amazing. The ambiance was romantic, quant and relaxing. The service was above and beyond. We celebrated our 28th anniversary and could not have picked a better place. We will so be coming back.

Yelp
We went as a group of 6 to House Brasserie for drinks and late night eats. We sat outside on the heated patio, which they kept very comfortable, even on a chilly night. The service was great. Our waiter was very attentive, and our water and wine glasses never went empty. We ordered two bottle of wines along with the chicken lettuce cups, the himachi yellowtail crudo, the house cheeseboard, and the house mac and cheese. Everything was presented well. I enjoyed the lettuce cups and crudo; they were light and had an interesting blend of flavors. The crudo was a small portion, so really just enough for a small taste for everyone, but it was very good. We thought the cheese board could have used another cheese and meat option, but everything that was on it was great. Our server recommended pairing the manchego with the apricot spread and the crusted brie with the honeycomb, both of which were a great match. The board also came with a generous portion of pita and hummus. And as for the mac and cheese - yum! We ended on a sweet note with the citrus olive oil cake, which was moist and tasty. This is not somewhere I would come often as it is just too pricy compared to my other favorite patio spots, but I cannot deny that House Brasserie showed us a good evening: a nice environment, good service, and good food to pair with good friends.

Yelp
Food, service and ambiance are superb. Indoor and outdoor dining as well. Sea bass is delicious. I would return for that alone. Not overcooked.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant is what you'll encounter when you arrive, then you're met with incredible service and finishing the evening with delicious food and drinks (not necessarily in that order) Can't wait to go back!
