The building itself is beautiful, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. Both the service and the food fell well below expectations, especially given the prices, particularly when compared to other restaurants we visited in Bangkok. Communication was also an issue, as most of the staff did not speak English.
We ordered the soft-shell crab, seafood Tom Ka soup, and tiger prawns. The seafood in the soup did not taste fresh, and the tiger prawns were dry and lacked flavor.
In addition, the air conditioning was set far too cold, making the indoor seating uncomfortable. We also had to walk up to the host to request the bill, as the waiting staff were not attentive.
We were seated indoors, which had little atmosphere compared to the outdoor area that seemed much more lively.
Overall, this experience was far from what one would expect from a restaurant of this level, especially given its location next to the W Hotel.
