Have been going for years and have reviewed prior. They served a hand tossed pizza tonight that is in the top five. Hard to describe but it truly was perfect. The crust and softness complimented each other perfectly. If Dave Portnoy was reviewing easily in the 8’s.

Good food w expected portion sizes. The service was decent. A little long on waiting to order drinks and apps but was attentive after. A great neighborhood gathering place to grab a sandwich, drink and hang w family friends or watch a game .

Beautiful patio with live music, incredible service, and safe and clean social distancing (I saw them sanitize tables in between guests and they did an amazing, thorough job)! They have a covered patio with TVs that showed cubs and nhl games, along with a wonderful lighted tent for additional space. Food was great, servers were friendly and phenomenal, and gorgeous views of the golf course and restaurant!

This is a favorite of golfers and hungry patrons as well! Great place to sit outside on summer days! Nice sports atmosphere inside. Lots of TV's. Good values on drink specials! Wide variety of drinks. The food choices are many, sandwiches, burgers, soups, tacos to name a few. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Tater Tots are the bomb!

This is the 19th hole at Tams. It's a fun neighborhood bar and grill. This place is well run and the proprietor knows how to run the place. This is a pub with anything from a burgers, to an entree, to an enjoyable club sandwich. It's not fancy schmancy, but it good and enjoyable.

Another great experience. Even tho crowded on a Saturday night at 6:30, we were seated immediately at a two top. Server was prompt and efficient while still friendly. Checked in at all the right times. Food came ridiculously quickly with super hot fries - delicious! Prices are incredibly reasonable especially in this economy. And the ambiance is so festive. We love going at Mardi Gras time for all the decorations. We had the cinnamon puffs for the first time and they were like the perfect marriage of beignet and croissant.

Found this online while stopping at a hotel in Niles, Illinois. We struck gold. Good food, great service, and a very family-friendly atmosphere. We were there on a very busy Friday night, but the staff was equal to the task. We will be back when we are in the area.

We came by to celebrate my friend's birthday on the Patio on a Saturday night. The parking lot while large and vast was pretty packed, and business was booming! The patio was enclosed and heated except for the door that went out where the table next to us kept open for most of the night. The space was beautifully decorated for St. Patty's Day coming up. We had a variety of apps, and drinks throughout the night. The buffalo chicken dip had a bit of a kick to it as it should but this one snuck up on me. The artichoke dip was great in flavor but a bit more watery then I'm used to. The tenders were great, along with the pizza. The super thin crust was great, and the size and cuts of the pizza made it great for sharing. While it was nothing out of the ordinary pizza, for the pricing it was great quality. What blew me away was the staff. Our waiter Gabby was running around all night long from our group and the large group next to us she kept her composure and always had a smile on her face. Such a great neighborhood gem, with great drink deals throughout the week. Looking forward to coming back and trying other things on the menu. Side note: if you message them on Facebook or IG with a picture and message, they'll post your picture on the screen for your celebration. :)

We love this place for an assortment of food when a family of four all have different tastes for dinner. The pizza is great - the nachos are plentiful and the beers are cold! Great staff - great service and my son loves their Buffalo wings!

So upon checking in through Yelp at The Howard Street Inn, I saw that I would get a free dessert item. I showed it to the wait staff and they promptly said that they would not honor it. They said they would ask the manager but that they would say no. Weird. When they came back they made no mention of it but proceeded to take our order. I did not really want dessert but the offer screen remains locked until you "Mark Offer As Used." You can't even access other parts of Yelp until you press that button. Alrighty then. My friend and I both ordered the pulled pork sliders (without bun) and tater tots. The pork came with the sauce on the side and a cheese sauce in the side. The tater tots were delicious! The pork was tender and a nice portion. Our other friend went with the chicken potstickers, a special. We enjoyed our meal and it was pleasant (in November!) on the downstairs (covered) patio with the afternoon sun it was warm and pleasant. Our food came out promptly and our server was nice. I am still thinking about that strange interaction. I saw the Yelp code on their menu so I find it odd that they would so emphatically say that they would not honor the offer that shows on Yelp check in.

This is one of the best restaurants in Chicagoland. I used to be a regular but because of health reasons I had to stop going. There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss it. The owner Kenny and his assistant manager Becky are two outstanding people. The food is not only incredibly tasty and flavorful, it's just like home-cooked meals that your mom used to make. The ambiance is just fantastic and homy. I would recommend you visit them if you haven't already. They will take great care as if you were family. Peace.

Came here on the Saturday of St Patrick's Day weekend, had been here a few times previously as well. Always a good experience! Love the decor and the vibe inside. There's also an enclosed patio (heated), great especially in the warmer months. Lots of TVs everywhere. Many specials on the menu with unbeatable prices. Portions were good. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. A great choice every time.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! It's such a chill vibe inside with their ambiance being all sports all around it's just a place to come and chill, eat , and drink while hanging out with friends and watching a game! The service is fast and everyone is so sweet honestly I'm happy we live down the street from here because it's definitely our go to whenever we have company we bring them to eat here because it's fun! We really love when the patio is also open which is so nice!! Food is definitely 10/10!!!

Came by for lunch on a Friday and we were able to get a table outside on the lower patio. Service was on the slower side but it was a nice day and we weren't in a hurry to be somewhere. We ordered a burger, a grilled chicken sandwich, both with tator tots. The food was good. There was a little too much bread on the sandwiches. It was an average meal. I would return and eat here sometime if in the area.

My elderly loved ones are fans of their outdoor dining area which overlooks the golf course which is delightful when the weather is great. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. Attentive service. They are great at churning out orders within 10-15 minutes not matter how busy it is and have mastered checking in to ensure everything is okay. It's those types of experiences that keeps us coming back.

We celebrated my best friend's 30th birthday at The Howard Street Inn, and couldn't have asked for a better spot! The host was very sweet and greeted our party with a big smile. Our waitress, Gabby, was an absolute delight. She checked in often and cleared/brought in things when the time was just right. We enjoyed an assortment of apps including buff chicken dip, spinach and artichoke dip, cheese pizza, tater tots, chicken tenders, and more! The food was great and we were happy with the drink prices! All in all, we had a great time and will be back again soon!

Once again we had another great meal at The Howard street Inn. We visited for St. Patrick's Day and had an awesome meal served by an awesome waitress (Mary) I took pictures to show and prove We started our meal with a beef and barley soup that was very delicious. Next came our entrees we took our Mom out as well, and we all got the special which was all-you-can-eat corn beef and cabbage and new potatoes and carrots. Everything was cooked perfectly. The owner Ken was there and as usual making sure everything went off without a hitch. We absolutely like coming here, we have never had a bad experience with the food or customer service. ISide note I don't know how he gets all the attractive women to work for him!!!! The restaurant was decked out in green with shamrocks and everything was great. There were even a free Irish whiskey shot to boot!!! I'm a quarter Irish by the way and I celebrate this holiday every year, normally I do the cooking but I couldn't this year! My wife called around to see who was serving a traditional Irish meal and Howard Street Inn saved the day! I suggest going there for all your dining and drinking needs wonderful sports bar too. Thank you Ken for making our day wonderful!!!

I love this place!!! The owners and managers really know how to run a restaurant smoothly. The bartenders, servers, bussers and cooks work together like a well oiled machine. It feels like the staff are all one big family. There is never a wait, the delicious food comes out very fast. I'm a fan of their chicken quesadillas. The servers and bartenders completely know the menu and the specials, which there are a lot of. Thursdays are martini night!! They have a great Bears game day. They also have a lot of different events, my favorite being Bartenders teaching you how to make a drink which is around Christmastime. The place is normally packed and I've never felt they were overwhelmed. Shout out and lots of love to Howard staff, I always have a great time there!

Amazing staff, great service and wonderful game day place to watch the bears win or loose. Plenty of tvs with the sound on for the game. Food is always solid. Burgers tots etc. The nachos were a miss when I had them.

Great atmosphere with a little more than typical bar food. Salads all have meat on them which is a disappointment. I had the shrimp tacos. Description sounds great but once they were in front of me, they were just blah. The shrimp was grilled with no seasoning. The avocado was no more than a slim slice. You'd get one bite of avocado. It was desperately in need of some kind of sauce... it came with a dollop of sour cream and salsa, not nearly enough to spice up the 2 tacos or provide any savory taste. I would NOT recommend shrimp taco dish, but the atmosphere and outside patio was great. So maybe go for a drink and if hungry skip the over priceY ($17) shrimp tacos.

Came here for a family gathering on a Tuesday evening. I really appreciate the hospitality here because not only did we eat, but we drank. Our party started off with some appetisers. We ordered the fried mozzarella sticks, cheese curds and jalapeno cigars. Our favourite was the jalapeño cigars. For dinner my partner and I split a cob salad and their speciality burger. All I can say about the meal is that there was nothing left and I forgot to take pictures during the fog of dinner. This place has a cool set up with a full bar and TV's. This was the first time went here and will definitely be coming back at some point in the future.

Such a great place to eat! Honestly if you're going to watch a basketball or football game this is the place to be! Everyone gets together and forms such a comminity and you get to be a part of epic game watching! The food is huge and AMAZING! Also the beers are really good as well! The service is quick and the entire place is decorated like a hang out spot!

This place needs to update their Ham sandwich, it's grossly full of grizzle super thick, even subway has better ham. The cheese was dry and old tasting. The Beer glass was dirty. The bartender looked very bothered when i asked for a sandwich replacement. I've been eating here for 6 months now and the place can use some upkeep in cleanliness.

Usually everyone always posts about the food and how good or bad it is. Don't get me wrong, the food here is amazing! We've made it our usual lunch stop every Friday and we've never had a bad meal. But indulge me while I comment about the service...Top Notch! Melinda is so welcoming, friendly and inviting. Great server, very knowledgeable about the menu and very accommodating with special requests. Dillon is the hardest working busboy I've ever seen! He's non-stop pre-bussing and bussing tables to stocking beer. It took a miracle to get him to stand still for this pic!!! So, the food is great as well as the service! Check it out - you will not be disappointed.

The service is not always the best, but this is a fun place to sit outside and enjoy the summer! The food is good bar type food. I'd recommend this for hanging out with friends or family!

It was my first time to this restaurant. Staff was friendly and service was fast despite being relatively busy for lunch. The food arrived hot and was very good. It was for my birthday and I believe the owner walked by and had heard that. He gave me a birthday brownie a la mode on the house. The server came back and sang happy birthday. It seems like a nice neighborhood place to eat and I will be back. Thank you for making my birthday luncheon special!

Went to this place for the 1st time on Friday 12/22/23. Arrived shortly b4 kitchen closing so we were asked to order quickly. We did! We were only a party of 3. One ordered a salad, one ordered a veggie burger, and I ordered pot roast spcl. After about 10mins our waitress returns to say they're out of pot roast, so I look at the menu again and order a steak sandwich...medium. Not 5 minutes later ALL the food comes out. I took one bite if mine only to find the meat "RAW"! Rather than try to send it back to a closed kitchen I just figured I'd take it home, cook it properly tomorrow, and have it for lunch! Unfortunately, that ONE RAW BITE ended up making me SO VIOLENTLY ILL that night....I just ended up throwing out the remainder of the sandwich. No way was I taking a chance on eating any more of that nightmare! I tried to contact the restaurant's owner, I've left my name and number on 6 separate occasions now, and ALL have gone ignored. He obviously has NO INTEREST in knowing about WHAT HAPPENED or about the fact that he has an unhappy customer who is a local! Word of mouth can do a LOT of good, or it can do a LOT OF BAD! Kevin, or Ken, whatever your name is sir.....STAND UP AND TAKE NOTICE!

Place is phenomenal- been going there for years and as a matter of had our wedding there and had Kenny and crew cater.... Best place on north side

The food and service were great as was the ambiance. Wonderful experience. I couldn't recommend enough.

We used to visit this country club-ish place frequently. The sports bar offers above-average, if not inventive, food and some great deals on beverages. It slipped from our radar screen only due to the noise level inside, but word of their spacious outdoor patio lured us back. The view of the adjoining Tam O'Shanter Golf Course at sunset is ethereal, in fact it's among the more idyllic places in the near NW 'burbs for al fresco dining. My Missus is fond of Bloody Marys and they had a Weekend Special on this drink for only $4.25. There were also beer specials, but I opted for a pint of Revolution Anti-Hero which set me back $7.25. Even though the Cuban Sandwich wasn't "pressed," it contained all the right stuff and had a nice flavor balance. The sweet potato fries, served hot and crisp, included a tangy honey mustard dip. My Missus described the "Homemade Traditional Jambalaya" as surprisingly good. As of date, if you check in through the Yelp app, you get one free dessert item. We shared some ice cream. And we enjoyed friendly, attentive service. Gosh, we'll make a point of returning before the weather gets too cold to dine outdoors.

Very popular place to get some pretty good food and watch a game. It has a very sports bar feeling to it but isn't too much for a family to have a meal. Service is always very nice and knowledgeable with the menu. I would suggest this restaurant to friends and family any time especially during professional sports seasons due to the energy the location has during those days.

Love this place. They sometimes have good Groupons/Living Social deals. Food is very nice. Service is good. Prices are fair. Plenty of free parking. If you're a golfer, it's adjacent to Tam Golf Course.

We have been here a few times to catch up with old friends. They are located adjacent to the golf course, which is convenient for the golfers. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor is covered and in winter they enclose it. Drink selection is good and they usually have specials. The servers are amazing, They are friendly and attentive. We only tried the pizza or the appetizer sampler and both were good, typical bar food. Good place to meet friends for a few drinks.

We had a great time and amazing service! We called and asked for a group of tables they put us at the end of the patio, had a great server and the Esther cooperated too!

Awful staff they were extremely rude and judgmental. If you're from out of town they WILL JUDGE YOU. I wish I could say better about it but I had just an awful experience there. 0-10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

You'll be glad you came here! Service and food are outstanding. Our server, Angela, was at our table within minutes of being seated and our drinks were well poured. Food was above expectations and the price was very fair.

Great food and martini drink specials on Thursdays. We worked nearby and planned regular gatherings after work and at holidays. They have always been very accommodating. It does get crowded and parking can be hard but it's worth it.

I love this place - It's basic bar food but they do it well! The have an amazing French Onion Soup! All the other food is what it is ! Drinks are good. The servers are amazing! They are always running around and making sure you have everything you need! They are always checking in and checking back! It's a little noisy at times - but it's to be expected! It's not terribly but keep in mind you're also very close to the next table!

Pizza is decent. I go there for the atmosphere, not the food. Wing are not bad and their brunch they have is worth the money.

I love the Howard Street inn. The service can sometimes be slow but they have a fantastic area outdoors with TVs and everything and I think you can even sit out there in the winter because it's all they got heat lamps and it's all zipped up and overlooks the golf course. Everything I've had there is very good but my favorite is the turkey burger. It's the only place I've ever been to the claims to have it white meat turkey burger and actually has white meat so that a different color or a blend. It's a fun place to go and they have lots of areas where you can sit outside during the season and I almost always run into somebody I know there. It has a great vibe for a sports bar and the food I had was good always. My ex and I would go there sometimes and he owned the restaurant here in town he's very very picky about his food and especially his hamburgers. And he actually ate their hamburger and said it was good. I almost fell off my chair! It is also very loud indoors that's why I prefer to eat outside and they have all the TVs and everything they have indoors so if you're watching near into watching sports you can do it especially in the fall when football starts, great place.

HSI is such an amazing place to watch the Bears game or any sports game for that matter! There is usually raffles with fun prizes and often a (free!) surprise during halftime. For the super bowl halftime steaks came out for everyone!! The food is great and the staff is so friendly and amazing. I love the ambiance and that there are two levels. I always have a great time when I come here!!
