I've driven by this cute little sign but never stopped. Until yesterday! Friends of mine who live in LG said it is great and under new ownership! The food was so good! Perfect way to round out our quick visit!

We had a reservation at 6:30 which was great. It was somewhat busy when we sat but plenty of tables available. The waitress took some time to get to us and was not very friendly. I like that challenge because I like to be extra nice to see if I can get a smile. No deal with that. Anyways it took quite a bit for our drinks to come out. Then ordered apps which again took a bit but we ordered when they were delivered. After we ordered the restaurant got busier. Well as we watched all the tables that were sat after us get served we still waited. We didn’t get our dinner until well after 8 pm. We asked the waitress, then the bartender. Nobody seemed to have much concern. We asked if there was a manager, well not really. Hmmm. By the time the dinner came we weren’t really in the mood to eat anymore. But I must say the food was hot and good so that’s a positive. Either our waitress forgot to put in the order or the kitchen lost it. It might be sometime before I try this place again, especially for my dear friend’s birthday dinner!

Food was honestly great - fish and meat was really good! Came out quickly, and much better than nearby restaurants. What was off was the owner (I think she was the owner or manager) and how she was approaching several tables around us and some of the conversations I overheard. Very judgement and rude to customers.

To be honest, the food was not good at all! The only good thing were the appetizers: Brussels sprouts, Hawaiian roll, and lobster bisque. The huddle chicken and seafood pasta had no taste, no flavor, chicken was dry, even with the sauce had no taste. It’s like when I cook fitness to myself. It’s a nice place and staff but I was so upset my food wasn’t good. I do content creation for restaurants in nyc and Long Island and obviously I go to many good places so my taste is pretty high when it comes to rate places, so I’m sorry, but gotta cook better.

French dip, mozzarella sticks,salad and drinks were good. The wings not crispy at all tho. Food came out missing pieces... Au ju.. Blue cheese ...dressing... But they quickly grabbed everything. The bar and space has a good vibe. They were careful with my allergy.

We had a nice lunch here with my mother and toddler. The menu wasn’t huge, but it was thoughtful and everything was really good. The patio was nice and the service was prompt, but not pushy. In fact, my toddler enjoyed a full nap on my lap and then awoke to a really yummy (really huge) bowl of rigatoni and cheese. Overall, this is the perfect spot in Bolton to walk in with a group and know that everyone will leave happy.

I ordered one of their margarita specials and it was so tasty! The pour was not light either, which I really appreciate, and definitely a homemade mix. The buffalo wings were solid and the dressing is homemade. I would for sure return to have a full meal.

When i arrived, this place was busy. So I went to the bar and ordered the parmesean chicken dish. I would say the food was graded a B+. The bartender Michelle gave my drink to someone else, and refills on soda are not free. She is a sweet person and an ok bartender. It should've been at least 2 bartenders to accommodate the customers.

So we came here a year ago, and the food and service was sensational. Honestly We were dying to come back, and it was disappointing. Dumplings were cold, French Onion soup was bland, and the Ceasar Salad was terrible. We heard that new owners took over, so maybe it was freshman jitters?

Busy July 4th evening but we were able to get a table. Ordered thai chili wings, beet salad with shrimp and fish tacos. All were very good. Service is above average given it was super busy. Would return if we were in the area again.

Lots of choices and everything is incredible. The food is out of sight! The service is incredible and the ambiance is really good.

The Huddle Kitchen & Bar was recommended by our hotel resort. They are located on the main street of town. The ambiance has a pub like flare with outdoor and indoor seating. We were a party of ten, and we were seated outside of the bar area, which was appropriate. The service was good, but I can't say the same for the food. Overall disappointing. The fish tacos were made of two tacos containing a salad and a small fried triangle of fish. The prices I thought were high. We were, however, in a popular vacation town drawing tourists from everywhere.

No one at podium to seat us. Wait A woman walks past me. Says hi. I say hello. Then She stares at me. Feom behind stand. I had no idea she was there to help seat us. Drink service and server were fine Fries with meal tastes bland and old. Hard. Meals just ok. Nothing special here Outdoor seating was nice.

We enjoyed our lunch at the huddle. Staff was friendly, food came out quickly, and everything tasted great. Had the fish of the day sandwich, which was a red snapper. It was a well seasoned piece of fish with a kick (likely a cajun blend), which we enjoyed. Lettuce and tomatoes came with the sandwich. Fries were crispy and well seasoned as well. Also got an order of the rock shrimp. Nothing fancy about it, but it was good and not too heavy on the sauce, which worked for us. A simple spot that has its flavors down. We look forward to being back!

Very nice part indoor part outdoor experience for a sunny September lunch. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Wings were very tasty. I'm sure that we'll be back!

While on our most recent trip to Lake George, we decided after a day at the beach to go and visit Bolton Landing for a meal because we have always had good meals in this town. Upon arriving, we realized that there was immediate seating for our party of eight and we decided to go in after checking the menu. Water came straight away and the hostess and the waitress who came and served us at our table were very friendly and offered a drink menu and a list of beers available on tap. We started with some beer and some cocktails from the bar and that seemed to take the edge off of a long and hot day at the beach//among other things that we ordered were the Huddle shrimp special and the ceviche done as a meal Also, they were kind enough to bring out the children's food first that made it easier for the adults to relax and unwind. As entrées, we ordered the French dip and the fish tacos and both tasted very good. In addition we had also ordered a warm lobster roll that was enjoyed by at least two parties in our group. None of the meals that we ordered were super fantastic, but they were all very delicious and good and although there were no standouts, we enjoyed our time together and appreciated the service that came by frequently to check on water bottles and also see if there was any need for additional cocktails Good quality food at respectable prices would have us return on any future visit to the area

I ended up coming here to meet a friend for drinks and ended up staying for the food and service. I sat at the bar and was able to order food there. The bartenders were very friendly and prompt. I started with hot wings and drinks, not knowing I'd be staying for an entree. That ended up being Rotisserie chicken with vegetables. The hot wings weren't that hot, but had good flavor. They had Buffalo Trace at a reasonable price and generous pour. This was a very pleasant experience with great drinks, food, and service. Remember to tip well.

Great atmosphere. Food and Service was good. One of the few places that is open on Mondays.

If I could have given a zero, I would have. The chicken was absolutely disgusting. We sent the entire meal back and were charged anyway. They are also WAY understaffed. It's ridiculously expensive. I'd honestly take dominoes over this. Awful experience.

Food is pretty bad. Fish sandwich was just mush between soggy buns and overly garlic mayo. Could not taste whatever fish it was supposed to be at all. For all I know it could be mashed chicken nugget or any mystery meat. Aioli was waaaay too heavy on garlic, had to scrape it off, yuck. Ceviche dish was made with celery. We didn't finish our meal.

We came here for brunch with a big group in the winter. It was so cozy I could have stayed for hours. The food was good, standard American fare and everyone was satisfied with their meals. There were both breakfast and lunch options available which we liked. We had a bunch of kids and they liked the kids meal options and got crayons etc to stay occupied. I would definitely come here again. Prices were a bit high especially since the town is empty in the winter. However, I know it is slow season and they have to keep the lights on, so I understand.

Disappointing. Lots of potential but the food is lacking. Kids burger and fries are pretty pricey at $14. Lobster roll CT style was ok - lobster was a bit overcooked and it was fairly greasy from the butter. Smash burger was disappointing. The vibe is nice with indoor/outdoor seating. Seems like a cool place to spend time - but there are other places to check out instead of returning.

Perfect spot for brunch, lunch or dinner in Bolton Landing. Actually, I would say it's a great place to go anywhere on Lake George. Not sure why the reviews complain about the staff because they were nothing be prompt and polite. We were getting ready to head home and stopped in for brunch. Greeted by a friendly server that took us right to a table. First of all, it's brunch so mimosas are a requirement and they are made with fresh squeezed orange juice. I could have a handful of those. I went with the crabby Benny as they call it. It's served with delicious potatoes that are amazing and "pop" as you eat them. The egg was perfect and the crab was tasty. Win, win. I can't wait to stop by again for more options on their menu. See you guys soon!

A great experience here for us. We will definitely be back! Here are highlights: socially distant outdoor seating, amazing jumbo lobster roll, really flavorful fish tacos, friendly and accommodating staff. Some things we noticed to work on: grilled chicken for my little one was a bit dry, we asked for the rotisserie chicken option and it seemed like it was microwaved. Young waitstaff kept bringing out orders that weren't for us. It was actually quite funny. The fish special noted a honey sriracha flavor. Ours was dry, but all the toppings held it together well. Their website was missing the dinner menu, adding it here! We'd definitely come back to try more!

Wow...such an amazing surprise. We were walking along the Main Street in Bolton Landing and happened to stumble upon this place. Wow!!! It's amazing. We are staying at the Sagamore and wanted something a little less formal and better tasting. And just our luck, we got exactly that. Here are a few points: --ambiance: clean and welcoming. We love the bar and garage door. Gives it a feeling of openness and adorable vibe. --service: super attentive without being in your face. The bartender gave terrific, unbiased recommendations which we really appreciated. I had the strawberry basil margarita and it was amazing. --food: we had the huddle shrimp as an app. HIGHLY recommend. Great portion and tasted delicious. I had the BLT wedge and my husband had the huddle burger. Both were amazing, especially the burger. To quote him he said the burger was "orgasmic". That says it all. Enjoy this amazing spot for a drink and eats. You'll love it.

It's almost unfair to review a place right at the beginning of the off season. Much of their staff has left to go back to school...and they are working through figuring out their fall menu...regardless...we were there. I have to say that the service, despite it being busy with less staff was really very good. The folks working there were very friendly, didn't ignore us and kept us as happy as they could. Kudo's to staff for banging out a good service when they don't have enough bodies to pull it off at the time. Food, unfortunately wasn't great. A mushroom Ravioli with a short rib, red wine bordelaise tasted like it came out of a frozen bag...presented nicely on the plate and had a nice portion size though. Really salty. Pasta properly cooked though. The burger was overcooked and dry. My guess is during the real season everything is better.. and they probably should limit their menu for the off season to the hits. Loved the atmosphere and the staff...

Strolling through this quaint little town and it was jamming with places to eat. Asked a local and he recommended Huddles for lunch. We ordered a Reuben and a french dip. Meals ended up overpriced for what was served. The Reuben was sparse on corned beef and sauerkraut. They even charged me for a refill for a soft drink. Service was sluggish and it was overall not the best experience.

We came for lunch with our 12 year old son. There was a ton or options on the menu, we had a hard time deciding what to get. I got the BLT with egg, and my wife and son go the buf chx wrap. All were good and the fries were seasoned and good as well. Prices aren't low but nothing is in a vacation spot

Had an amazing dinner, great ambiance with a beautiful indoor/outdoor patio and full bar. We went on a Friday and there was live music. Great place to eat with your family or friends. For the food the lobster roll was really good, the short rib special was on point and I also recommend the espresso martini with the Bearcup coffee.

We are from out of town and came here for brunch. We had the lobster roll (on the lunch menu ) and the spud bucket. Everything was excellent, the lobster roll was fresh and the fries were unreal. The spud bucket was just as expected potatoes and cheese with a fried egg cooked perfectly. Would come back again!

Started off with the amazing "Cuban" mojito martini! ordered the lobster roll and it was delicious. Full of buttered lobster in a grilled roll. So good! The cole slaw on the side was bland and a very small portion, along with French fries. The fries were very tasty, but here weren't many, which was a bit of a turn off. Really, how much do fries cost? Load em up! Especially when you are paying $32 for the lobster roll.

Food was just "blah" at best... had the Reuben for lunch... was soggy and barely had any taste... wife had the smash burger, and was off tasting and more than a bit gamy. Once and done for us.

What a great option to experience some great sea food on Bolton Landing! My warm lobster roll was truly excellent. Chunky pieces of lobster on a well buttered roll; smooth and perfect. Husband got the fish sandwich (grouper) and it was served on a burger buns with a hint of spice. Truly enjoyable. Bonus: Great drinks and very patient with our toddler twins! Definitely recommend! Don't come here. To start, the hostess has no manners and looks like she hates standing there. Upon arrival she could care less about greeting customers. Food was overpriced for what they served. They charge you extra for sauces. They also gave half of a water carafe and told us that if we needed to buy water if we wanted the extra water. Water was warm with a metal taste. The tacos were served cold and it only had two little pieces of chicken. No one came to ask us how the food was. Horrible experience. Horrible Sevice. Horrible food. Sad.

Enjoyed our meal at Huddle. Reasonably priced, lots of outdoor seating, wait staff wearing masks and hand sanitizer on every table. They have a book to sign upon entry for contact tracing . Many restaurants in Bolton landing take reservations. Huddle didn't and had an hour waiting list as did otters . That said, we were seated after 35 minutes which was great. Service was attentive and friendly. Several vegetarian / pescatarian options, Only negative, that impacted our experience was a lot of flies around our table. Bolton Landing is a cute town, 15 minutes from Lake George and less commercial. Lots of fine dining options.

It was a beautiful night and we were seated right away on a Friday night. Band was great! But a little too loud for dinner convo so we sat outside by the parking lot but it was fine! Food and drinks were delicious- nice to see a place hopping and doing a great job! Hostess was definitely hustling !

This place was so good! The crab cake is amazing and one of the best I have ever had. It's flavorful and full of meat and isn't one of those deep fried messes, it's made fresh. The steak dish was also incredible and the mashed potatoes were good. The ahi tuna dish is also delicious!

My teenaged daughter and I stopped by for lunch with our dog. We were able to sit outside under the covered awning. Our waitress was pleasant, quick and efficient. Our food was delicious!

We had an amazing time. The food was delicious and our waitress Victoria was the best. She added so much to our experience there. She was attentive, friendly, funny and helpful.

Warning: The manager is incredibly rude. I stopped by around 2:30 because my family and I were looking for a place to sit and have a cool drink and there was a sign that said "kitchen closed, bar open." Without asking me anything, the manager/hostess rushes up and curtly says "we're closed!" without even making eye contact. So I point to the sign and said, "oh, I thought you were open...?" So she backtracks and says, "well yeah the kitchen is closed and the bar's open." I was pretty put off by how rude she was, so I carefully asked if they had dessert (my kids were hoping to get some ice cream), and she told me no and pointed to some other places instead. Tbh, I could've overlooked the rudeness.... But then we ended up coming back because there was literally no other options. We walked in and asked a server if we could sit outside and she said, "sure, you can sit outside, just order any drinks at the bar." So we found a table under the pergola area and my wife and I went in to order a round of drinks. We came back out to find my kids and in laws being rushed out of the area by this manager person, who apparently spat "I JUST cleaned this table!" at my in laws, like their mere existence was somehow offensive to her. This woman then almost shouts at us that THIS area under the pergola is off limits because it's the in between time (mind you, others were sitting there) and we were only allowed to sit over THERE. We explained that the staff had instructed us to sit outside, so she then goes off to find this person to I guess yell at them (?)... but then comes BACK to us to tell us that WE must've made a mistake because the server told us to sit over THERE (they did not). It's like her goal was to blame the customer. To top it all off, we felt like we had to make sure to leave our table EXTRA clean because, well, knowing that this raging manager was going to clean our table meant that we couldn't afford to be "that Asian family" that left the table even slightly messy. Save yourself the rude service and go elsewhere.

Decided to stop at The Huddle for happy hour and some food and can't wait to go back! I visited around 4pm on a summer Tuesday and there was no wait. I have been here a few times in the fall off season and have never been disappointed, so I expected a good experience this time as well. Our waitress was very polite and friendly making the experience even better. We enjoyed the outside seating as some tables were in shaded areas and others were in sun which I thought was a nice option. The drinks and food were great. The Huddle Shrimp are a must try - crispy fried coating with sauce on top, a great combo! The wings and blue cheese were good also and would order everything again. This restaurant asks you to sign in when you arrive as part of contact tracing due to COVID. The staff seemed to be following precautions well. I can't wait to go back to the Huddle!

My family and friends and I came here for an early dinner last night. We were so happy with the outdoor seating under the overhang patio, the waitress was extremely kind and friendly, and the menu was diverse! They also had quite a few specials, so don't forget to listen to those! The portions were HUGE, so while the prices may seem a little higher than you'd like, the quality of the food and portions definitely validated the prices! Highly recommend!

I am conflicted as hell here. Food was good but service was awful. The demeanor of every person we came into to contact with was crap, starting with the hostess who gave my sister the nastiest look when she politely asked for a table for 5 people. The waitress couldnt be bothered with us, no one cleared glasses or plates.. i wouldnt come back despite us actually liking our food.

I got a lobster roll and husband got French dip. The lobster roll had a nice buttery flavor, I just wished there was more lobster! The French dip was made with prime rib and was very tender.

While visiting lake George we got the chance to eat at the beautiful, wooden, indoor/outdoor restaurant. I passed by it while walking through the town and saw that it was always packed and I figured I would try it. We went for lunch and the restaurant makes it very clear that they are short staffed and that food and drinks take a little longer to come out. They at least give you a heads up before you even sit down which I appreciated. I got a mimosa and my friend got a gin fizz which she was in love with. As an appetizer we got fries which were nice and crispy and well as fried potstickers which were so good! I was also starving at this point but the appetizers were great! As my main meal and I got grilled chicken sandwich and let me tell you... it was the best grilled chicken sandwich I've ever had at a restaurant and that says a lot being from the south. The bun itself was covered in butter, the chicken was juicy and had tons of flavor, and the lettuce and tomato were the perfect touch. I'm pretty sure I scarfed my food down in less than five minutes. I also noticed that the beet salad was very popular and a friend of mine got it and said it was very delicious! She just about licked the plate. Overall highly highly recommend all these dishes and this restaurant! Side note- they did run out of a lot of food and drink options later in the day so I suggest going early. They ran out of coffee and froze

Hate to do this but here you go... As we were being seated we were warned that they were short staffed and missing some ingredients that caused certain items on the menu to be unavailable. In this covid environment that is totally reasonable. We ordered. Food took a while to come out but that was expected. When my BLT arrived. IT. HAD. NO. BACON?! Server apologized and brought out the missing bacon. I then had to reconstruct my own sandwich. To be fair, she hesitantly offered to have the kitchen make a new one but I suspected that would take a while and my wife's omelet was on the table and was fine. As we were leaving, I told the woman at the hostess stand (I think she was the manager?). She offered a very lame apology and moved on. She was not rude. She was just insincere and I felt very dismissed. If they are going to ask for forgiveness for diminished service right when you sit down, they should at least get the food right. One other weird thing - they don't put napkins on the table. We asked for and received them. I noticed the the people at the table next to ours never got any napkins.

Meh. I used to love this place but it seems to have fallen in terms of quality. It was fairly busy for a Tuesday when I went to grab dinner with a couple of friends and their two kids here. I got a Moscow mule which was definitely one of the worst I've had. I got the artichoke app which was actually delicious but it was 4 - halves so 2 artichokes lol for $16. Like settle down. I then got the rosas pasta which was TASTELESS. Absolutely zero flavor. It was I think $26. A total waste of money for flavorless food. I won't be going back.

Great spot to enjoy tasty food in a relaxed and cheery setting if you find yourself in Bolton Landing. After a 4 hour drive up to LG in the pouring rain, we were absolutely starving. Luckily on a Friday night at 8 The Huddle had plenty of available seating. We started off with Moscow mules. They were strong, tasty and very reasonably priced at 8.00. Although the drink menu was underpriced, the menu was a bit overpriced which I thought was strange. 17 dollars for a salad in Lake George? C'monnn! Despite the high price tag, the food was fresh and quality and we enjoyed everything. We went splits on the strawberry goat cheese salad, mac and cheese and fish tacos. The star of the show was the mac which was dripping in some of the creamiest cheese sauce that I've ever tasted. Our least fave was the fish tacos. The fish was a bit mushy, but luckily the mango salsa topping was extremely flavorful. Solid food in this area is a dime a dozen, so although prices are a bit high I'll definitely come back next time I'm visiting!
